01/05/08 Internet News - Ashley Switches To Raw?
WWE Diva, Ashley Massaro, made her return to the company today after being away for a few months due to her involvement with the Survivor show. However, the news here is that Ashley made her return at the RAW house show in White Plains, NY, where she addressed the crowd. She is believed to be a part of the RAW brand now. PWinsider.com

01/07/08 Monday Night Raw - Mohegan Sun Casino, Uncasville, CT - Maria, Melina, Mickie, Ashley. Jillian - Lingerie Pillow Fight
Vince is out back with Maria who gets to spin the wheel for the Diva’s match. It come up on a Submission Match. Vince has her close her eyes and tells her to imagine being out to dinner with Santino. He goes on and on while moving the wheel to Lingerie Pillow Fight. She seems lost about the match, so he explains it to her. He says the Divas wear lingerie and bring their pillows to the ring. He says that there can’t be any foreign objects in the pillows. She says that’s no problem as her pillows are all natural.

Melina comes out in red bra and panties with gold coin bra cover and belt to give her a belly dancer look. Jillian comes out in fuschia and black bra and micro-mini. Maria comes out in black boy short and a black bra with a white bra over it. Mickie comes out in a pink a blue bra with matching micro-mini. Her hair is in pigtails. They are about to start and Ashley comes out in a black and pink bra and pink ruffly panties. They all start bouncing on the bed and Melina gets tossed off. They start hitting each other with pillows. A couple of them pull the bedspread off and hid in a corner. It’s Jillian and Melina. A couple of the girls pull it off and attack them with pillows. Maria hits a bronco buster on Jillian. Ashley gets kicked in the face and stays down for quite a while. She finally gets up and back in the fray. Melina and Jillian double team Ashley and work her over until Mickie comes to her rescue. Mickie and Maria double team Melina. Maria and Mickie hold Jillian across the bed. Ashley climbs and hits a flying elbow. Ashley covers Jillian on the bed for three.

Pillows start flying in from outside the ring. Melina keeps tossing them in. Ashley hits her with a pillow as she climbs on the apron. Lots of hugs for Ashley from the face Divas. 01/14/08 Monday Night Raw - Mobile, Al - Mickie/Maria/Ashley vs. Melina/Jillian/Beth - 6 Diva Tag Team
Jillian and Ashley start. Jillian gets the upper hand and whips Ashley. Ashley gets a foot up and hits a cross body for two. Melina tags in but gets hit with a hard clothesline. Maria tags in and does a handstand/kick to Melina’s head. Maria gets hung up on the second rope and Melina chokes her on it. Beth tags in and hits a side slam on Maria for two. Maria is able to get away and tag Mickie. Mickie hits head scissors on Beth and slides out between Jillian’s legs and onto the apron. Mickie takes both Jillian and Melina out. Beth comes after Mickie and gets her up in a double chicken wing. Mickie kicks her in the gut to get out. And enziguri and all the Divas get involved. Mickie gets hung up on the ropes. 01/27/08 WWE Royal Rumble PPV - Madison Square Garden, New York City
Ashley knocked on Maria's locker room. Santino Marella answered. He said she couldn't answer her knock because she was preparing for her first-ever high-definition Kiss Cam. He said he didn't understand why anyone would want to see these ugly New Yorkers kissing. He said that's what's great about Maria; whatever you ask her to do, she does. He told Ashley to leave her alone because she's not interested in her or her "boobie magazine." He said he wishes he could vote her out just like they did on Survivor.

Later, Maria came out and did a minute of the Kiss Cam. Ashley walked out and said she got a call from Hugh Heffner. He wanted to know if she wanted to pose for Playboy. Maria laughed, but before she could answer, Santino came out and said the answer is no. "Nobody wants to see Maria with no clothes on," he said. He said those fans are of course going to cheer because the have nothing else to cheer. "Mets, Yankees, chokers," he said. "Ohhh, a mosquito, I'm scared. Let's lose the playoffs! Knicks, Rangers, not even good enough to be called chokers. In fact, the only thing you have to cheer for is a footbal team from New Jersey." He went on to make fun of Eli and other teammates, saying they look more like hairdressers than football players. He asked Maria to follow him out of the ring. Ashley grabbed the mic and said to wait a second. The crowd drowned her out with a "Let's go Giant!" chants. Ashley said the decision is Maria's, not his. She said, "I don't know. Do you guys really want to see me pose for Playboy?" The crowd cheered, but they didn't go mad crazy like you might expect. Santino said since the fans like to see "the boobies," here they go. Out from under a big tarp came Big Dick Johnson in bikini briefs and a Brady Patriots jersey. Ashley spanked him out of the ring. PWtorch.com

Ashley came out first for a divas tag match. Mickie James came out all-smiles and got a nice reaction. Ross narrated clips of Mickie losing to Beth Phoenix last week, then being devastated after the match. Jillian Hall came out for the heel team, followed by Beth Phoenix. Ross covered for Lillian's flub on Beth's name. Mickie and Beth locked eyes, with Mickie's smile being turned upside down.

Jillian and Mickie started things off, with Mickie landed a kick early in the match. Jillian seemed to injure a knee, or at least she was selling it well. Beth took an early tag and stomped Mickie into the corner. Mickie smashed her shoulder into the corner, then Lawler said she used to love these matches, but now he's concerned because they seem too dangerous. Mickie completely ignored Ashley, who remained on the ring apron. Mickie then cleared Jillian to the outside, but Beth caught Mickie with a kick to the gut. She nailed the fisherman buster suplex for the win. Afterward, Mickie was in a shock while Ashley tried to console her. PWtorch.com

02/19/08 Internet News - Ashley Alone On Valentine's Day
WWE Diva Ashley Massaro posted the following Valentine's Day message on her MySpace page yesterday: "Well, yet another Valentines Day spent alone after 28 yrs. Not like I'm surprised really. I've really become used to the idea of me myself and I. I like it better that way. And I hope all you loners out there on this silly holiday feel the same way. I got you and you got me. Later punkinpies. Xoxo." Additionally, she has removed references to her relationship with Paul London on her MySpace page, not to mention that she is now listed as single again. 03/13/08 Internet News - Chyna With Biggest Selling Playboy Issue
Regarding Playboy sales figures, it's being reported on some websites that Ashley had the lowest-selling magazine of all the WWE Divas to pose for the publication (sales within one calendar year), at least according to a person working in the advertising business who has Playboy as one of their advertisers. The person said, "Chyna's November 2000 cover is the biggest selling WWE diva issue of all time. The lowest selling goes to Ashley Massaro for her cover last year, though her year has just a few weeks left it is near impossible it will match its closest rival. Rajah.com

03/24/08 Monday Night Raw - Columbia, SC - Melina (w/Women's champ Beth Phoenix) vs. Maria
Beth interfered in the opening minute, then Ashley stormed the ring and confronted Melina. Ashley screamed at the ref, then fans booed the entire proceedings. Oh wait, Santino Marella was running to the ring. Suddenly, Jerry Lawler jumped into the ring and smashed Santino with a right hand blow. Lawler, Maria, and Ashley stood tall, then William Regal showed up and booked an impromptu inter-gender six-person tag match.

They returned with Santino coming off the top rope, but Lawler blocked with a fist to the gut. Lawler then landed a dropkick as Ross got in a product placement for a Subway sandwich. Melina took a tag, but Lawler didn't have to tag out. Lawler measured Melina for a punch, but he opted to tag out to Ashley, who smacked Melina in the face. I don't get the outfit. Maria then took a tag and hit the Bronco Buster on Melina. Beth Phoenix took a tag and smashed Maria with a spinebuster in center ring. Santino took a tag and stalked Maria, but Maria smashed her with a slap to the face. Ashley landed a far-less-convincing slap. The divas took turns smacking Santino in the corner, then Santino fell to the outside and accepted right hand blows from Lawler. Suddenly, Beth and Melina chop blocked Maria from behind. 03/30/08 Wrestlemania 24 PPV - Orlando, FL - Beth Phoenix/ Melina vs. Maria/Ashley - Playboy Bunny Lumberjill Match
Ashley busted out a huracanrana and head scissors at various points in the match. Didn't look half-bad. Melina then catapulted Ashley into Beth's arms for a bear hug. Suddenly the lights went off and Lawler asked if The Undertaker just arrived. The action continued in the ring while the lights shut off. A spotlight came on above the ring to give a little light. This gives new meaning to the "dark match" term. Maria had a pin on Melina, but Santino yanked Maria off the pin. Jerry Lawler then came over and smashed Santino with a right hand blow. Back in the ring, Beth gave Maria the fisherman buster suplex for the pin and the win.

After the match, Santino stood over Maria's body and taunted her. Snoop then jumped into the ring and smashed Santino with a clothesline. Santino left, then Snoop picked up Maria and had a brief make-out session. Ashley and Maria left with Snoop while Santino had to be

04/07/08 Monday Night Raw - Albany, NY - Jillian Hall and Melina vs. Ashley Massaro and Mickie James
Ashley starts the match off quick getting a 2 count on Jillian. Ashley climbs Jillian in the corner and punches her until Melina hits her from behind. Melina gets tagged in and they hit a double team move on Ashley and gets a 2 count until Mickie breaks it up. Mickie finally gets tagged in and goes to work on Melina then dropkicks Jillian. Mickie turns round but gets hit in the turnbuckle by Melina. Melina takes back control of the match, working up Mickie in the turnbuckle. Mickie puts her knees up and blocks Melina, hits a running neck breaker and a 2 count.

The other two Divas get involved but clear the ring. Mickie hits her finishing move DDT on Melina and gets the pinfall. Ashley and Mickie celebrate in the ring to Mickie's music. ProWrestling.com

04/12/08 Internet News - Ashley MySpace Blog On Wrestlemania
Ashley posted a blog on her MySpace page a few days ago. Her comments on Wrestlemania appearance:

Hi! So, wow, Wrestlemania...was...HUGE! That was probably one of the most awesomest experiences I’ve ever had in my entire life. Just being there, I mean BEING there for Ric’s retirement, I mean, this is just wow, Ric has always been such a great friend AND the life of the party since I arrived here at WWE and its so heartbreaking to see him go, but it really was pretty amazing to be there for his final match against Shawn.

And as for our match, it was amazing I mean truly amazing to wrestle out there under the stars and the fireworks with close to 80,000 people there. It was sick! I mean what a rush. I had a match last year agaisnst Melina at Mania at Ford Field and there were 80k people there too but didnt this Mania just FEEL BIGGER??? It did to me, I walked back soooooo slow after the match trying to take it all in. I know it sounds silly to describe it this way but I’m glad someone was recording it because it prob will be one of the best memories of my entire life.

04/27/08 WWE Backlash PPV - Baltimore, MD - Mickie James/Michelle McCool/Ashley/Maria/Cherry/Kelly Kelly vs.
Beth Phoenix/Melina/Jillian Hall/Natalya/Victoria/Layla
Michelle started things off against Beth. Lawler plugged Michelle being the number search item on Yahoo yesterday, ahead of the NFL Draft. Someone got information off the Torch News Ticker. Mickie entered the ring and avoided Victoria's shimmy moonsault and nailed an enziguiri kick. Suddenly, the whole deal broke down when Cherry ran over to the heel corner and attacked Natalya. Order was momentarily restored, then Ashley and Jillian took tags. I have no idea what's going on with Ashley's outfit. The heels then took turns working over Ashley in their corner. Mickie came into the ring without a tag, then women randomly entered the ring illegally. It wasn't even a break down, just one diva giving a move, then another diva getting a move, then another diva getting a move, then another diva getting a move. Just completely random. And it came back down to Beth and Ashley, who were legal. Beth with the big fisherman buster suplex on Ashley for the pin and the win.

Winners: Team Beth in 7:00. That was the most organized match break down I've ever seen. Otherwise, a giant collection of multi-colored outfits that probably caused a few TVs to explode. PWtorch.com

Things started off with Kelly and Beth, who attacked Kelly from behind after a pre-match scuffle. Not quite Garnett vs. Pachulia, but it'll do. Victoria took a tag, then Kelly snapped off a head scissors, but the heel divas cut her off and went back to work. Kelly then blocked a handspring elbow from Jillian and tagged out to Mickie, who rolled up Jillian with a bridge pin for the win. PWtorch.com

05/07/08 Internet News - Ashley Implicated In Escort Scandal
Ashley Massaro Linked to High-Priced Escort Service?

The new issue of Rolling Stone Magazine with the girls from "The Hills" on the cover features an article about a high-end escort service in Los Angeles, California. The escort service is run by a woman named "Nici" who would set up beautiful women (Playboy Playmates, Maxim and FHM models, porn stars) with rich clients who would pay up to $25,000 a night for their "services".

Nici's operation was recently busted by the FBI, and the Rolling Stone article lists the names of several of Nici's escorts - one of whom is WWE Diva Ashley Massaro. There is a picture of Ashley in the article and she's listed as a WWE star and Playboy cover girl.

The article did not explicitly state or imply that Ashley ever had sex for money. Legally, the escort is being paid to spend time with the client and nothing more. Whatever the escort is doing for $25,000 a night is up to them. That said, being outed as a high-priced escort is probably not the best thing a WWE diva needs on her resume.

As reported earlier, the new issue of Rolling Stone magazine features an article about an FBI bust on a high-end escort service based out of Los Angeles. WWE Diva Ashley Massaro was listed as an escort of the service.

Massaro herself recently got word of the article, and has posted a brief blog on her MySpace page in her defense. She wrote:

-- Rolling Stone editor Michelle Grigoiadis responded to suspicions regarding the possibility that WWE's Ashley Massaro was the victim of mistaken identity. "Obviously, I stand by my story. Massaro is named in an FBI search warrant that was executed on Michelle Braun's property in October, 2007. I have no knoweldge of another woman by the same name."

-- While Dave Meltzer started the theory on there apparently being another model by the name of Ashley Massaro, it's not holding much water at this point. Braun's escort service was made up almost exclusively of high-end women recruited "from the ranks of Playboy models and porn stars." Massaro was involved with Playboy before she joined WWE in 2005, doing a few pictorials in 2003 and early 2004 under the name Ryan Mackenzie.

-- An old ad for Ashley Massaro through Bella Models lists a booking fee at $25,000. The website is no longer operating, but this was the escort service that was identified in the Rolling Stone article. 05/24/08 Internet News - More On The Ashley Escort Story
Philly Burbs journalist Eric Gargiulo has spoken to a few people close to the Ashley Massaro escort scandal story, and they are saying that the Ashley Massaro named by Rolling Stone is indeed the WWE Diva. Gargiulo's sources are saying that the timing fits right and considering that the girl in question was advertised from New York City, it's a pretty big giveaway.

As noted earlier, an anonymous person looked up the old website of the Los Angeles based "Bella Models" escort agency via Archive.org in hopes of finding something on Massaro. As luck would have it, Massaro's page was archived on the web archive site, and a link to the archived page was disclosed to some wrestling news sites. Apparently, there was a picture of Massaro on the page at one point, but it was deleted or simply wasn't archived. Although, Massaro's name was never erased. The page said that Massaro was based out of New York City. Of course, the WWE Diva is from Long Island, New York, which is nearby New York City. The page also listed her nightly booking fee at $25,000.

Regarding Massaro's employment status with World Wrestling Entertainment, Gargiulo's sources are saying that she is not expected to be terminated from the company, nor is she really in any trouble -- at least with them. Rather, company officials have told Massaro to keep quiet about the situation in hopes that the story simply goes away without further investigation or media attention.

The story itself was written by Michelle Grigoriadis, who recently did a heavily praised story on Britney Spears for Rolling Stone, which was very well written and researched. Considering that Massaro hasn't said more on the subject and nobody has retracted, it pretty much confirms that nobody has provided enough suitable evidence to Rolling Stone or TMZ.com (which heavily investigated the possibility of a mistaken identity) to show that this is simply a case of mistaken identity. Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com asked Grigoriadis to comment on the story and net theories. Grigoriadis told Johnson, "Obviously, I stand by my story."

At the moment, it appears as though that the WWE Diva's lone saving grace is Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer saying that there is, or at least was, "another Ashley Massaro" based out of Las Vegas. The alleged Massaro is a bikini model who won some major bikini competitions in 2003 and 2004, according to Meltzer. Additionally, the alleged Massaro is three years younger than the WWE Diva. People have trying to find information online on the supposed bikini model, but no one's been able to pull up up anything on her. Even if a Las Vegas based Ashley Massaro does indeed exist, the only other possible explanation that the person named by Rolling Stone is not the WWE Diva is if the Las Vegas bikini model happened to live in New York City in 2003-2004 as well, and that's a pretty big stretch. ----- Everyone’s favorite female wrestler/prostitute is back in the news. Former Playboy cover girl and Survivor contestant Ashley Massaro updated her MySpace blog saying that she has officially asked WWE for a release from her contract. She cites her sick daughter as the reason for leaving the company, and if it’s true I wish her a speedy recovery.

I am skeptical of her story, given how she claimed the Rolling Stone article about her escorting was false but no lawsuit ever formulated; but situations like this have happened before and with much more money on the line. Remember when Derek Fisher walked away from his $21-million contract with the Utah Jazz to take care of his daughter? Luckily his daughter recovered and he signed a $14-million contract with the Lakers.

Massaro’s story could very well be true, and if so then god bless, but the timing seems a little too suspicious. Hellarious.com

Former WWE Diva Ashley Massaro has posted a new blog on her MySpace account discussing the passing of Andrew "Test" Martin as well as the WrestleMania XXV question.

04/22/09 Internet News - Ashley Shoots Down WWE Return Rumors
Ashley Massaro has posted a blog on her MySpace account shooting down online reports saying she is returning to WWE at SummerSlam.

The reports originated on a Twitter account (www.twitter.com/DirtyDivaYepYep) by a person posing as her — which has since been deleted. The person claiming to be her posted a note a few days ago saying she would be returning to WWE at Summerslam.

"It's so funny how easily people fall for poser accts that claim to be me when they are not," Massaro wrote in a blog on her MySpace account. "It has been reported on a certain Twitter acct that I've have claimed to be making a return to WWE by Summerslam. Now, as much as I'd love to say that it is true, it's not.
