In February of 2001 Mike Franey of RedHotDivas.com recently conducted an interview with Caryn “Muffy” Mower. A transcript of the interview is available for reading below:

How did you get involved with the WWF
I got involved with the WWF by accident. I went to an interview regarding a video, and this was in Mission Vejio, Ca at Rick Bassmens old gym. I didn't know him at the time but after that he had reccommended me to audition for WWF, so I did and the rest of course is history.

Did you enjoy your time working there
I enjoyed my time with WWF. I feel very fortunate to have met many wonderful people and wrestlers and I will miss some of my friends I got to meet.

What was it like entering a arena with thousands of fans shouting and looking at you
Entering a arena with thousands of fans is AMAZING. Its sooooooo amazing its hard to put into words!

What was it like in the WWF Locker-room
The WWF locker room wasn't as everybody hear's about. All the women were very quiet most of the time or just getting ready for the show.

Who came up with the name Muffy and did you like the character
The name ":MUFFY" was told to me by Stephinie, I'm not really sure who came up with the character. I would think it was Vince Mcmahon.

What was Stephanie like to work with
Stephinie was very sweet and nice. I didn't get a chance to really talk to her much but she ALWAYS was very nice to me.

How do you feel your character could have been used more
My character could have been used more later down the line, but at the time I was being used quite a bit. I was out every break they had between wrestling matches, it was that I wasn't on TV very much. Maybe that would be the answer .....I could have been put on TV more.

Was it a shock when you were let go by the WWF or did you see it coming
No it wasn't a Shock when I was let go by the WWF maybe more of a surprise! I didn't see it coming because I just started and I was told I was doing such a great job on the microphone. So not a shock but a little surprised it happened so soon.

Would you ever go back to the WWF if they offered you a contract/deal
I'm not sure what I would do if WWF asked me back. That's a tuff question.

Would you like to return to the WWF one day
Not sure if I would return back to WWF either kinda the same as my last question. Its one of those things where I would or could only answer when the time or if the time comes.

Would you ever join WCW or any other federation apart from the WWF
Yes I think I would like to go with another federation, but who know maybe no one wants me :(

What is it like working for UPW
UPW is a great place to learn about wrestling. Rick Bassmen is a great friend and a terrific person to show you the ropes. UPW has given me some wonderful friends! and FANS!

What kind of workout do u do in real life
The workout I do in real life is my work! I'm a Stuntwomen and I work at a live stunt show 4 days a week doing a very physical show called Waterworld almost 5 times a day. If you were to ever see it then you would know how I keep in shape.

How much time do you spend on training and keeping fit
I spend alot of time keeping in shape by watching what I eat and making sure I put the right things in my body. Training I do all the time because of the work I do, but I'm not crazy about it. I do it when I want to and because I like too.

What would you call your best physical feature
My best physical feature........well my hair!

What fitness advice would you give to people looking to folllow on in your footsteps
Well my footsteps were pretty crazy so do what feels right! Thats the main thing, do what makes you happy and doing that should keep you in shape!

Are you a fitness nut in real life ie the WWF Character Muffy
Yes I am a fitness nut! I have been my whole life. I used to teach aerobics for many years.

Do you have any comments on Chyna's Fitness Video
I can't comment on Chynas video because I haven't seen it, but I've heard its great.

What do you family think of your career
My family always thinks I'm crazy for jumping of buildings or swinging from tall building or taking a crazy wrestling bump, but!!!!!!!!!!!they love that I'm doing something I'm good at and that I love it!

Does your family support what you do
I've always gotten support from my family, again they think I'm crazy sometimes but they support me 100%

Do you have much time to spend with your family
I do spend alot of time with my family I'm pretty lucky that they all live close. We are very close so if we don't see eachother will at least chat on the phone.

If you had to share a house with any wrestler who would it be and why
I couldn't share a house with a wrestler, we would have too many fights!

What do you do in your spare time
In my spare time, which I don't really have any, I like to spend time with my dog Einstein he's a golden retriever or just relax with my boyfriend

Have you followed the wrestling industry all your life
No wrestling never was in my life, in fact I only remember seeing it a few times on TV many years ago and thought it was dumb.

What federations have you been a fan of
I haven't been a fan of any really because i never followed any, but now I like all of them because we are all in the same business and all the wrestlers work hard at what they do.

What wrestlers do you admire
Mick Foley I admire alot. He has paid his dues and he is a WRESTLER! Not many are even if they say they are. As they say the PROOF is in the PACKAGE.

What wrestling related websites do you follow if any
I don't follow any wresler websites, I've been too busy trying to get my damn one up!

Do you enjoy all the Internet attention you get
I love the internet fans that say hello. I will always talk back or if I'm busy I will at least say hey.

If you could wrestle anyone who would it be and why
I would love to wrestle Ivory because she's an awesome wrestler and I think we would kick ass in a match together.

If you could be any wrestlers valet who would it be and why
If I could be a valet for a wrestler it would be the Hardy Boys. They are awesome wrestlers and they are sure cute!

Have you ever made any worth mentioning mistakes when performing Live
Mistakes I always make, but mentioning them isn't.

Where do you see yourself in 10 years time
I hope to see myself in 10 years as a wonderful mother and a healthy women!

What has to be your greatest wrestling moment
My greatest wrestling moment has to be the very first time I went out and down the WWF ramp.

What do you think about the direction Vince Russo took WCW in
Vince Russo..... I don't really follow WCW, sorry.

Do you feel WCW can one day become #1 now they have new owners and management.
Any wrestling federation can be big I think WCW is big but I think the writers have a lot to do with it.

What do you think about the direction V. McMahon and the McMahon family have taken the WWF in
The McMahon's have done a great job with WWF........Its HUGE so they must be doing something right!

Do you feel the XFL will be a success
XFL hmm not sure, not a big Football fan.

What entrance theme do you like most
I don't have a favorite entrance theme, but as far as music I love Techno, up beat, dancy music.

What entrance theme do you dislike most
I don't dislike any.......yet!

What is it like knowing men have pictures of you on there walls and knowing many are in love with you
Love is a strong word, I think all thiose men with my pictures would probably not want them after they got to know me!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL :)

Do you still get much attention when you are in the public
Sometimes people recoginize me as MUFFY but more see me as Carnidge from UPW.

How has your wrestling career effected your life as a whole
Wrestling has open doors for me and also makes me feel very humble to the extreme wrestlers who take some amazing risks in what they do.

Do you have any plans on moving into the acting world
I prefer the Action world then the ACTING world.

What is the deal with you and the Battledome and will you be apart of it on a regular basis
I was asked to compete on Battledome by a Stunt coordinator and it's there first show with women. I don't want to tell you very much about it maybe later after you see it. It airs on Feb 25th Sunday and Saturday March 3rd. You'll have to check local listings for the time.

Would you ever follow in Chyna's footsteps and pose nude for a magazine such as Playboy
I wouldn't follow in Chyna's steps but I would think about it!

Do you have any comments you would like to share with all of your fans
I've been very busy with Stunt work so I get home late and have been too tired to answer the questions. So I apologize to all the fans who have been waiting for the answers. I always am surprised that I even have fans for the short time I was with WWF or on TV. I can honestly say I enjoy them and thank them all for writing to me with support and just saying hello on line. I'm also sorry my web page CarynMower.com is taking so long but please don't give up on it its up befor you know it!
