Joanie would like to personally thank all the fans who have visited the site. Joanie Laurer (AKA Chyna) has been lighting up the TV screen lately and has really been giving her loyal fans something to smile about. Laurer will be appearing on High Price of Fame on June 11 and June 15, on June 14 Laurer will be appearing on Nick Cannon and then on June 23, Laurer will be a special guest on Mad TV! Laurer also recently made a cameo in a new movie called Brown Sugar which is out on sale in stores everywhere! The engaged Joanie Lauer and Sean Waltman are being featured as a couple on E!'s "Split: The Price Of Fame."  E!'s "Split: The price of fame," looks at celebrity couples who have split up and been through extremely messy divorces that have cost a lot of money!

But towards the end of the show they focus on couples that are making it right now. Former WWE wrestlers Joanie (Chyna) Lauer, and Sean (X-Pac) Waltman, are featured as one of the couples making it right now. As the couple is prepared for marriage they talk about what they think it takes to make a strong realationship. "Split: The price of fame," can be seen on the E! Entertainment network. The show is airing now. Check you local listings.

WebMaster's Note:  This is contrary to the rumor that was spreading about Joanie And Sean splitting up I would say.

Chyna Sings! The Chicago Sun-Times reports reported yesterday that Joanie Laurer and Sean Waltman were spotted at the River North hot spot Buzz. On the 8/11 edition of "Celebrity Justice" they claimed that Joanie "Chyna" Laurer had obtained a restraining order against Sean "Syxx-Pac" Waltman. The story goes like so: Laurer was abused by Waltman, he pulled her hair out, threatened to kill himself and as a result Laurer has gone into seclusion to avoid Waltman at all costs. Laurer said that she is afraid of Waltman and what he his capable of doing to himself and her. Recently, Laurer's website had been taken down and her phone lines were disconnected. All this information runs contrary to the information that followers of the two had been hearing. They were engaged to be married in the future, appeared on the "Anna Nicole Smith Show" and recently reunited with each other at an NWA/TNA show. [Delon Sykes, TheWrestleHolics.com]

----- On the 8/12, edition of "Celebrity Justice", an update of the Joanie "Chyna" Laurer and Sean "Syxx-Pac" Waltman situation was given. A recap was given on the reason why the two have a strained relationship, a short montage of clips of Laurer's "Chyna" highlights. Apparently, Waltman used a stiff version of his "Buzzkill" maneuver on Laurer (Hands around victim's neck, legs wrapped around waist). which gave Laurer some serious bruises includng minor bruises around the eye and bleeding on her left arm. According to a message board post by the webmaster of SeanWaltman.com, the restraining order filed by Joanie Laurer against Waltman has been dropped. Waltman's webmaster posted the following:

"Hey everyone..I just got a voicemail message from Sean..he wanted me to let you all know that he went to court today over the restraining order. Joanie did not even show up in court to back up her story...so...

Anyway...I believe the case has been dropped if I'm not mistaken.

His computer is on the blink again but he will be back online as soon as he can and elaborate more for you when he can."

The webmaster later added: "I need to add also that the police had dropped the case for lack of evidence to prove the allegations." [WrestlingHolics.com]

The following are highlights of a recent appearance of Chyna on a radio show:

- Changing topics and focusing on her recent situation with ex-fiancé, Sean Waltman a.k.a. X-Pac, she says it has been really, really hard. One of the reasons she fell in love with Sean is because what you see on the outside isn't always the case. Perception is reality, she says, and part of being a star is the perception. "It's a show".

- She doesn't regret going on Celebrity Justice and hopefully it will set the record straight. She wants people to know that she loves Sean, and that's that. "Besides, he wouldn't ever try to kill me because I would kick his ass, right"? "And he knows this, so give a girl a break. I was just in a bad mood that day".

- When asked why she brought it to the public's attention in the first place, she responded by saying that she's a very private person. She loves to go out and have a good time, entertaining, dancing, and dressing up, but she's not one that needs to go to a court to get publicity. When she did that at a certain point for whatever reasons that she doesn't need to explain, she was trying to put something on record that would eventually set it straight. She had no idea that friends would be calling telling her they saw her on Celebrity Justice or that she would be reading about it in the Globe. Those things hurt her and it hurt Sean, and now they have to go back and fix things. It sucks. She should write a song about.

- She not a vindictive person, she's honest, she doesn't want to take from people, and she doesn't go grocery shopping in leather shorts and body slam guys. Sean is a man of great conviction with his own superb qualities and it was wrong the way it came out and that is what's not right.

- She dropped the restraining order because when the incident broke loose, she realized what good it did and she wasn't doing this to get her face out there. They're just dropping it.

- As far as the WWE goes, she doesn't get to watch it. She feels that they did her wrong, but she never closed the door on them. If she did ever come back, she doesn't think she could wrestle the women. It wouldn't make sense.

- She wasn't aware that Stephanie McMahon and Triple H had gotten engaged, and when the hosts mentioned it to her. She responded with a "good for them." She doesn't have any words of advice for Stephanie, but if they are going down road, it must be the real thing! [Ryan Clark, WrestlingWire.com]

The following news comes from The Torch Newsletter: Despite being long-time friends with Triple H, Sean 'X-Pac' Waltman did not attend the wedding between Stephanie and Triple H recently. Sean wasn't even invited.

Most cannot fully pinpoint a reason for Sean not being invited, although Waltman has withdrawn himself from the wrestling industry, as well as his 'wrestling friends', so hasn't been in contact with HHH in a while. Additionally, it is said that the relationship between Joanie Laurer and Sean Waltman put a damper on his relationship with HHH. With that in mind, it also would've been weird for Joanie, HHH's ex-girlfriend to be in attendance for the wedding, so that situation was averted by not inviting either of the two (who were likely a couple when the invitations went out).
