Joanie was arrested on January 1st for domestic battery. She assualted me struck me in the head and face countless times after getting back from the Playboy Mansion. There were several witnesses to her behavior, including Jeff Meecham from The Extreme Mayhem Show, and unfortunately my two children witnessed and heard all of this. She was released today once again having to suffer no consequences for her behavior. She showed no remorse. [ SeanWaltman.com ]

Chyna appeared on the Howard Stern Show today and apparently was a "pathetic" mess during most of the show.  We have posted a page with content taken directly from Howard's .com and a recap of the show from Mark Mercer and Rajah.com.  Included is a picture (Select if for a larger view) that shows she looked like a complete mess. WebMaster's Note:  I feel bad for her.  I always thought she was a much stronger personality than what it appears she's slipping into.  All the press about her for about the last year has pretty much been a negative.  Come on Chyna, snap out of it - remember you were once billed as the "Ninth Wonder of the World."

----- The troubled relationship between Joanie Laurer and Sean Waltman was once again aired in public when this time the pair were featured on "Celebrity Justice." As reported previously, Waltman has filled charges against Laurer because of an altercation he couple had on New Year's Eve. CJ reports Waltman's side of the story saying that Laurer returned to their home following a party at the Playboy Mansion and struck him a number of times. The show goes on to mention that most of the incident took place in front of Waltman's children. It seems that CJ tried to call both Laurer and Waltman but none of their calls were returned. The following is from Sean Waltman’s official website, where he lashes out against the producers of the Surreal Life for exploiting Joanie (Chyna):

“You and I both know what she was paid to do your show. That amount of money is nominal compared to what you are making by exploiting her making a spectacle of herself for 13 days and giving her the platform to become an even bigger joke than Anna Nicole Smith. How she was allowed to go on further representing your show after the Howard Stern appearance is mindboggling. If it was not obvious at that point that she was in no shape to go and do another media appearance, then I question the common sense of everyone involved.” [ Rajah.com ]

January 18, 2005 -- MUSCLE-BOUND lady wrestler Chyna Doll is making a meal out of supermodel Marcus "The Swedish Meatball" Schenkenberg. The B-list duo, who met while filming VH1's "The Surreal Life," were seen locking lips at Scores West in the wee hours of Saturday morning. "They were kissing and caressing each other," shudders our spy. Even more unsettling was when hulking Chyna jumped onstage and performed a nude striptease. "She asked to go onstage and the manager said, 'No thank you,' " relates our spy. "But eventually he let her, in the spirit of good fun. She was topless, but after she went bottomless, they told her she had to stop." Schenkenberg, who has romanced several of the topless temple's lovely dancers, left with his new squeeze shortly after 4 a.m. "It's like 'Beauty and the Beast,' " sniffed one of Schenkenberg's stripper conquests, who was aghast at the hookup. Earlier that night, Chyna got buck-naked and jumped into the fish tank at Coral Room as Schenkenberg filmed her with a video phone. As much as I have cared for and loved Joanie Laurer, the fact is that I am moving forward with my life. Our relationship was as unhealthy and dysfunctional as they come. I wish her the best, however I have a hard time putting her behind me when every time I turn around I am reminded of her. This message board has more posts on it about her than about myself. I care about what happens to her, however I can no longer spend every day worrying about her. I have to worry about myself. I established my own identity long before anyone had heard of a Chyna or Joanie Laurer. Being in a relationship with her did a good job of stripping me of my own identity.

I have my own things going on now. Starting on February 11th in Tijuana I will be reuniting with Road Dogg & Billy Gunn against Konnan, Nicho(Psychosis) & Rey Mysterio Sr. TNA will be next and I am looking forward to Sean Waltman's Redemption Tour 2005. No more looking backwards. I'm going forward and I'm not looking back.

I think it's time for the connection between Joanie & I to end completely. One day she may realize what she had, maybe not. I wish her all the best no matter what.

Joanie “Chyna” Laurer is cited as the cause of “record numbers” among young girls taking steroids in an article on BlogCritics.com. Rajah.com  PWinsider.com

TRENTON, New Jersey (PoopyCaca.com) – A new study by the Centers for Disease Control and Harvard University shows that girls as young as 9 years old are using steroids, not to perform better in sports, but to look like former professional wrestler, Chyna.

"We had no idea how popular Chyna is nor how much of an influence her being a cast member on ‘The Surreal Life’ is having on young American girls," said Jason Sloane, a professor of Amazon women culture studies at Harvard University, who "really, really, really enjoyed the study." BlogCritics.org

ZENtertainment reports the following on their website:

"Former World Wrestling champion Joanie Laurer previously known as Chynna has been making the network rounds as of late to try and pursue her very own reality show called Being Chynna. Over the past few weeks she has had interviews at MTV studios and FOX to discuss the show's concept.

Earlier this year Laurer was apart of the hit reality show The Surreal Life with Verne Mini Me" Troyer. The high popularity of her season on Surreal Life will likely lead Laurer right where she wants to be, back on network TV.

Laurer also has been signed to guest-star in Edgewood studios upcoming SCIFI - action flix, Illegal Aliens opposite Anna Nicole Smith. The film was shot earlier this year in Vermont with David Giancola as the director and is set for a 2006 release in theaters.  Chynafan101 - Visitor

Chyna's latest film Illegal Aliens will be released in June 2006 on DVD. Photos from the film can be found at the official Edgewood Studios website.

Joanie Laurer signed a deal to star in a new VH1 reality show called "Fame Game". It's a celebrity version of survivor but with fun, goofy stunts. Joanie along with several cast mates from Surreal Life (among others) are the stars of this show and filming begins in March 2006.
