Apparently ECW valet/manager Dawn Marie has been in meetings lately with World Championship Wrestling. [Jonathan Siderman]

Silver's Note: Do we really believe this?  It's no secret that ECW is having a few problems, but when Lance Storm went to WCW, Dawn Marie expressed no interest in going.  Her boyfriend still works for ECW, so why would she want to leave.

WebMaster's Note: Now wait a minute.  It's rumored that the WCW is supposedly releasing Daffney, Paisley, Leia Meow, Major Gunns, and Tygress, but their going to pick up this nit-wit. (No I'm not a fan of hers.)

Steve Corino, Simon Diamond, and Dawn Marie were all backstage at last week's Monday Nitro. During this time, they all got to talk to Eric Bischoff privately, about getting a contract with WCW. Another former ECW employee, Dusty Rhodes, is friends with Bischoff, so expect that to add to the possibility that more unemployed ECW wrestlers will jump to WCW. [Josh Lee]

Simon Diamond may just have a developmental deal with the WWF. Him and the WWF have been in discussions and supposedly things have gone well. It isn't known if Dawn Marie, his real life girlfriend, will be hired as well. However, there was a point in time where the WWF showed some interest in Dawn Marie's talent. So there is a chance she could be picked up as well. [Nathan Mayers]

Simon Diamond and Dawn Marie are not on a developmental deal but are just in for some shots. That’s not to say there wouldn’t be interest in putting them under a deal, just that they aren’t under one now. Low-Ki is also headed in for a week for a similar “working vacation”. He is also not under a deal at this time. [Ryan Clark]

The NAWA would also like to announce that Simon Diamond and Dawn Marie will be working with the NAWA on future Shows. Their first appearance for the NAWA will be on Friday, May 18th. [Josh Peterson]

Saturday night at at the Intense Wrestling Inc. show in Cincinnati, Simon Diamond was scheduled to appear along with Dawn Marie. However, neither showed. The reason given was that Diamond had signed with the WWF and would not be able to appear because of his WWF commitments. Nothing was mentioned of Dawn Marie, so I'm assuming she has not signed with the WWF yet, but I'd expect the WWF to sign her to a deal if they haven't already. [Ryan Clark]

Simon Diamond and Dawn Marie have cancelled all of their upcoming Indy dates, telling everyone that they've signed developmental deals with the WWF. Rumors, before, stated that they were leaning towards signing with the WWF, but nothing every officially came about it. Reports are saying that Simon will spend a great deal of time in Memphis, while Dawn Marie will just have a short 2-week stay there. [Fred Cook]

Simon Diamond and Dawn Marie have canceled all of their upcoming indy dates, telling everyone that they've signed development deals with the WWF. Earlier rumors stated that they were leaving towards signing with WWF, but nothing officially came about. Reports are saying that Simon will spend a great deal of time in Memphis, while Dawn Marie will stay a couple of weeks. [Joseph Davis]

----- Rumors are currently floating that if WCW does, indeed, relaunch, Simon Diamond and Dawn Marie will be a big part of it. It's also a lock that the fed's developmentals in Memphis, UPW, and OVW show up in the new WCW, and WWF dark matches are being done now not so much to screen new talent for the WWF, but for the WCW.
