Originally appearing to the wrestling world as the "Queen Of WCW", Debra was a conceded ex-beauty contestant whose only claim to fame was that she had competed at a number of national level pageants. Being a former Miss Texas USA and Miss Illinois America champion, did not make her much of candidate as a wrestling valet/manager. All this began to change in 1985. While on a flight to Chicago Debra met Steve "Mongo" McMichael's mother. Agreeing to a blind date, the two hit it off and eventually married. When Steve finally entered the WCW in 1997 this was Debra's chance to show what she could do. Unfortunately Debra was pretty much used as no more that an arm charm who did little to influence the outcome of a As for her career in the WWF - what can be said? Appearing all of a sudden on a Monday Night Raw on Jeff Jarrett's arm and her career skyrocketed from there. Looking much better in her tight Two of the most talked about rumors in 1999 was when Debra would appear in Playboy after Sable's successful centerfold and would Debra show us the puppies on a PPV? To the dismay of us all neither happened. In early 2000 it was announced that Debra and Steve Austin were going to get married and in September the couple was happily married in Las Vegas. They returned to the WWF, but Debra was never again in the spotlight as she had been previously. By June 2002 there was important news about the couple but not in the manner that either wanted. It was announced that Steve Austin was being sought by San Antonio Texas police for assaulting Debra during a domestic argument. The following month it was rumored that Debra was filing for divorce from Steve Austin, which did actually occur by the beginning of 2003. Unfortunately for a lot of "puppies" fans Debra has not appeared anywhere since and the latest news we have seen is that she was selling her wedding rings on eBay for the sum of $20,000. |

Like I said, to this day, God, I love her to death. It was deal where we were almost too alike. Too headstrong, to some degree. Things just self-destructed from that point. Looking back now, there's a lot of things I'd do differently." [owow.com, Raw Magazine] WebMaster's Note: Pick up an issue, you won't be disappointed.
