01/06/00 Thursday Thunder DDP said that Bagwell was hitting on Kimberly the whole time Page was filming a movie in L.A. He said Bagwell's first wife left him cause he is a dirty cheat. Page said that he had seen Bagwell in the showers and Buff's stuff wasn't big enough. Buff charged the ring and the two brawled into the crowd and through the arena. [wcw.com]
01/12/00 Wednesday Thunder Gene Okerlund conducted an in-depth interview with Kimberly which mainly focused on the rumors that had been circulating about her and Buff Bagwell having an intimate relationship while DDP was filming in Hollywood. Although he tried several times to try and pin her down on the subject Kimberly fluidly avoided making any real comment on the subject one way or the other.
01/16/00 Souled Out PPV The match between DDP and Buff Bagwell was a 'last man standing' match and would be decided by who was unable to get to their feet before the ref counted to 10. Surprisingly Kimberly was not at ringside to watch the match as the two men tore the place apart. The action was fast and furious between these two bitter enemies and even included demolishing the wcw.com monitors, equipment and table. Eventually re-entering the ring, the ref began the 10 count 6 or 7 different times as both wrestlers would somehow get up and pound on each other some more. Kimberly headed towards the ring from the backstage area when the ref was making yet another 10 count, but DDP just couldn't pull himself up in time and Buff was declared the winner. As soon as Buff saw her standing on the apron he started over to her to explain about something but was stopped short as DDP attacked him from behind and began beating on him while Kimberly watched. Seemingly upset by what she was watching she turned to leave, but then came back and said something to DDP. Whatever she said to him made him forget about beating on Bagwel any further and he exited the ring and headed backstage with his wife. For pics - Click Here.
01/17/00 Monday Nitro Stealing the show for a second night, Buff and Page battled like rabid dogs in front of the cheering Ohio State audience. Kimberly (who was the guest referee) gave no indication about a favorite in the match as these two warriors took the fight to the stands. Back in the ring, the fight continued to rage at an unbelievable pace. Bagwell countered a Diamond Cutter by grabbing the top rope. After a series of near-falls, Bagwell decided to attempt the Buff Blockbuster. DDP groined his opponent, but still fell prey to a second Blockbuster attempt. Before Bagwell could cover for the pin, the Georgia stud accidentally struck Kimberly. The distraction gave Page a chance to hit the Diamond Cutter and score the pin - but Kimberly didn't stay to celebrate with her husband. [wcw.com]
01/19/00 Wednesday Thunder Champagne Kanyon was scheduled to meet DDP. Coming out to ringside with the Champagne Girls and J. Biggs, Kanyon complained about having to face DDP since he had beat him several times previously. "I have nothing to prove here tonight, me, Biggs, and my girls are getting on a jet and heading back to LA." At that point Kimberly strolled out looking as scrumptious as ever. Kanyon told her "Since your by yourself Kimberly why don't you ditch the white trash and come be with a real man?" As Kimberly slowly took off her coat, exposing her bountiful breasts she replied "Why don't you get rid of those two bimbos over there and maybe we'll talk about it!" Just as Kanyon turned around to ditch the Champagne Girls DDP attacked from the top rope. DDP pretty much controlled the match and won the match, even after Kanyon managed to smash his face into the metal stairs. For pics - Click Here.
01/26/00 Wednesday Thunder Kimberly told Mean Gene that things are better between herself and DDP. She said she did her best when she refereed the match last week between Buff and DDP. Kim said everything is cool not only with her husband, but with Marcus as well. DDP came in and pulled her out of the interview. [wcw.com]
03/27/00 Monday Nitro As Mean Gene prepared to announce a guest who was returning after a lengthy absence, Kimberly came to the ring, saying she was the only one who could announce this big return. In all of her scantly clad beauty, Kim introduced her husband, Diamond Dallas Page. DDP hit the ring, jacked to the max, much to the delight of the spring breakers. Page said he was still recouping from his injured back and while doing so, was on a promotional tour for WCW's upcoming movie, "Ready To Rumble." After the King of Badda Bing stated he would be the "three-time, three-time, three-time champion" when he did return, The Chosen One, Jeff Jarrett hit the stage. He told DDP he would not be the three-time anything, and Jarrett would personally crash the premiere of "Ready To Rumble" in Hollywood on April 5. [wcw.com]
04/10/00 Monday Nitro - WCW World Title Tournament Match - Diamond Dallas Page with Kimberly d. The Total Package with Elizabeth The entrance music for DDP and the 'Package' Lex Luger was cut off as they made their way to the ring. Both men realized the importance of the match, and laid in with everything they had. Page, sporting a new haircut, was kicked down into the corner by The Total Package, who chose to work over the back of DDP. Out of nowhere, Buff Bagwell's music played and out he walked. Buff Daddy made advances toward both Kimberly and Elizabeth. This distracted both men and, after Buff laid a kiss on Liz, Luger lost all concentration and was dropped with the Diamond Cutter, chalking up the win for DDP. [wcw.com] WCW World Title Tournament Match Diamond Dallas Page with Kimberly d. Sting After both men entered the ring, Jeff Jarrett joined Schiavone and Hudson at the announcer's table. Sting took out the big guns early, delivering two huge splashes in the corner on DDP. Page came back, but was sent to the floor; just in time to see Jarrett making a move toward Kimberly. He spun Jarrett around and slugged him, as the referee tried to break up the fight. While all this was going on, Vampiro hit the ring and dropped his "brother in paint" Sting with the Nail in the Coffin. DDP slid back in and one Diamond Cutter later, he was on his way to Spring Stampede for a shot at the WCW World Title. The Chosen One snuck in and swung the guitar at Page. He ducked, and Kimberly took the full shot over the head with the six stringer. [wcw.com]
04/12/00 Wednesday Thunder - Disqualification - Madusa d. Kimberly Kimberly went face to face with Madusa, who wondered why Kim wanted to wrestle her. Mrs. Page gave "Deucy" a big shove and got one back that knocked her into the corner on her backside. Madusa pulled Kimberly to the middle of the ring and began to rub her face into the canvas and slapping her in the face and chest. DDP could take no more, and ran in, pulling Madusa off his wife. As Page attended to Kim, Madusa got up and threw a few kicks to the King of Badda Bing, before he treated her to a Diamond Cutter for her troubles. Kim left telling her husband that she wanted to prove herself on her own. [wcw.com]
04/16/00 Spring Stampede PPV - WCW World Title Match Jeff Jarrett d. DDP with Kimberly Jarrett took the long walk down the hallway from his dressing room, preparing himself for the most important match of his career. Page and Kim took the same walk, hoping to become the three-time WCW Champion. Jarrett charged first, but DDP ducked and started swinging. Page got a two-and-a-half count after a DDT in the center of the ring. After both men went to the floor, Page held Double J as Kim slapped him across the face. Soon, the fight was in the crowd in the back of the arena. Back in the ring, Diamond was dropped across the turnbuckle as he climbed to the top. Jarrett brought a chair into play and slammed it across Page's back. The Chosen One continued to work on the already injured back of DDP, doing anything he could to attain the win. Page delivered a sit down powerbomb, but only got two. Eric Bischoff stood in the aisle, watching the action from afar. As Jarrett pulled DDP's legs around the ringpost, Kim pulled Jeff off by the hair. Diamond turned the tables and crotched Page around the ringpost. Charles Robinson went down, allowing Jarrett to lay out Page with the title belt. Miraculously, Dallas kicked out, and the match continued. Bischoff moved closer to the ring, as Kim came back with a guitar in hand. Page fought out of a Double J figure four and the two battled on adrenaline alone. A series of near-falls occurred before Jeff caught Diamond in a sleeper hold. DDP reversed it and slammed Jarrett to the canvas. Bischoff distracted Robinson as Page applied a Diamond Cutter. He signaled to Kim, who entered the ring with the guitar. Dallas held Jeff, but Kim brought the six-stringer down across her husband's head. Jarrett drove DDP down with The Stroke and got the 1-2-3, finally realizing his dream of becoming the WCW World Heavyweight Champion. Kimberly and Bischoff hugged over Page's fallen body. Then Russo entered the ring with the rest of the New Blood champions. [wcw.com] For Pics - Click Here.
04/24/00 Monday Nitro Eric Bischoff and Kimberly called DDP to the ring. When Page arrived, the former Nitro Girl founder served her husband with divorce papers. Page tried to reason with Kimberly, but settled for attacking Bischoff. Jarrett leveled the two-time World Champion with a chairshot. [wcw.com]
04/26/00 Wednesday Thunder - World Title Match Diamond Dallas Page and David Arquette d. Jeff Jarrett and Eric Bischoff When there was no referee for the match, Jarrett waved someone out from the back. Kimberly walked out, decked out in the smallest referee shirt ever made. Bischoff and Arquette fought to the back at the start, as DDP took it to Jarrett inside. Every time Page went for a pinfall, Kim would take her time, stalling as she counted the fall. When Jarrett would cover, however, she suddenly remembered. Bischoff made his way back to the ring, where he joined the Chosen One in annihilating Dallas. As Page dropped the two with a doubleclothesline, Arquette came back to the ring. With Kimberly in the corner after being kissed by Page, Arquette speared Bischoff as Jarrett dropped Page with the WCW belt. Referee Mickey Jay slid into the ring and counted Bischoff's shoulder's down, crowning David Arquette the new WCW World Heavyweight Champion. [wcw.com]
05/03/00 Wednesday Thunder Jarrett came to the ring and challenged Kanyon to come out for the first of the no holds barred matches. Kimberly told Page that he wasn't good enough for her and said he owed everything to her and Eric. [wcw.com]
05/08/00 Monday Nitro - Stretcher Match - Mike Awesome d. Diamond Dallas Page Easy E and Kim joined the announcers at the table. Awesome carried a stretcher to the ring with him, ready for the fight. Mike nearly landed in Kim's lap as the brawl quickly took to the floor. Back inside the ring, DDP went to work on Awesome, causing Kim to hop onto the apron, asking for a signature on the divorce papers, right then and there. While Page ripped up the documents, Awesome slammed a chair over DDP's head, followed by a DDT. Page was wheeled away on a stretcher, but he got up half way down the ramp and crawled back into the ring. After an Awesome Bomb through a table, Bischoff came in and signed the divorce papers with Page's hand. Dallas was wheeled out on the stretcher again, this time all the way, giving the win to Mike Awesome. [wcw.com]
05/22/00 Monday Nitro - Chuck Palumbo d. DDP As The Main Event gave DDP his best posing routine, Page gave him his score... one fist to the jaw of the rookie. Palumbo slowed things down, nailing DDP with a superkick. Kimberly came out and dropped Liz with a bat shot. As the referee went to check on Elizabeth, Mike Awesome came from the crowd and clobbered Page with the neck halo. Palumbo locked Dallas in the Torture Rack and the referee called for the bell. When Luger attempted to come into the ring, Kim grabbed his leg, giving Palumbo an open shot directly to Lex's face with the muscle flexer. The Package was stretchered from the ringside area.
Outside, DDP screamed for the paramedics to get going to the hospital as they tried to stop the bleeding from Luger's face. [wcw.com]
05/24/00 Wednesday Thunder Backstage, Vince Russo asked Eric Bischoff for help with Nash and Pump. Bischoff, flanked by Kimberly and Cat, told the WCW writer to handle it himself, but did agree to let Kim watch Elizabeth in the interim. Later in the show we watched as Kimberly did her makeup in her dressing and gabbed while Elizabeth sat impatiently. Quickly tiring of Kimberly's constant droning, Elizabeth knocked the former Nitro Girl from her chair, grabbed a bat and ran from the room. During an interview with Mean Gene, Kim complained about Elizabeth, and blamed the First Lady of Wrestling for ruining her day. Enter Liz. The Total Package's former manager grabbed Kim by the throat and dragged her off the set. At the same time DDP was in the ring claiming that he became successful in spite of Bischoff, and insulted the New Blood leader for turning Kimberly against him and injuring Kanyon. Liz dragged Kim to the ring where DDP turned his wife over his knee and began spanking her. He was interrupted by the Nitrotron. Mike Awesome was sitting next to Kanyon in the hospital, and told the camera man to stop filming. Page was left with no idea what would happen to his longtime friend. [OWOW, wcw.com] WebMaster's Note: I find it humorous and a little strange that the censors over at Turner had no problem with us seeing Kimberly's panties and stocking tops while Liz drug her out to the ring and they had no problem showing us the same just before DDP started paddling her cute and sexy little behind. It would seem though that they DID have a problem with the spanking scene since the cameras focused on people in the crowd while Kimberly got her spanking. It just doesn't make a lot of sense to go to all the trouble of staging this event and then robbing the viewers of watching the end result.
05/29/00 Monday Nitro Kimberly arrived to the arena and was flanked by reporters. A video was shown from earlier in the week of Kimberly at the Page's home, barking orders at the hired help as they packed away DDP's belongings. In a clip from Friday, DDP arrived home to find all of his stuff on the front lawn. He was sent away by the local police as Kimberly said she had taken out a restraining order, telling him not to come within 500 feet.
Backstage, Mike Awesome tried to get information from Kimberly about DDP. Chuck Palumbo asked Kim to help him bait Liz to the ring. When he promised that it would be TV time for her, she happily agreed. With Palumbo and Awesome by her side, Kimberly challenged Liz to come to the ring. Elizabeth arrived and told Kim she was sick of her and her lowlife friends. The Event and The Career Killer held Liz as Kim berated her. Diamond Dallas Page charged in and cleared the ring of The New Blood. Bischoff came out with two police officers, telling Page that he had violated the restraining order. The officers cuffed Page, but Palumbo dropped them with the muscle flexer as he attacked DDP. The Total Package hit the ring, chasing Palumbo to the back. Mike Awesome revived and stomped on a handcuffed Page until The Mailman Karl Malone came from the crowd and delivered a Diamond Cutter. [wcw.com]
05/31/00 Wednesday Thunder Outside, Kimberly got out of a Rolls Royce as the paparazzi surrounded her entrance into the building. Backstage, The Cat spoke with Mike Awesome. As Kimberly walked into the room demanding camera time and personal security, Cat told Kim that Awesome would protect her as she went to the ring. Interview: Mike Awesome and Kimberly Awesome told DDP that at the Great American Bash, he wouldn't have all of his friends around to save him. Kimberly allowed the crowd to welcome her to Boise. She ran down the audience, telling the women that they were all jealous of her. A fan ran into the ring, but was quickly Awesome Bombed by the Career Killer. Kim was disgusted and left the ring. [wcw.com]
06/02/00 Internet Rumors Kimberly told WCW management that she had found a vial in the women's bathroom during Nitro, which had been left by Tammy Sytch. She is receiving heat for this because members of WCW are supposed to settle issues by themselves before going straight to management. Kimberly has become very unpopular backstage due to this and because of her actions backstage. She has been very arrogant backstage and has stated that she isn't a wrestler or a valet but that she is an actor. This has upset many people in WCW and has really hurt her backstage reputation. [Eric DeRegt] Kimberly will be in the upcoming edition of Penthouse magazine, but only for an interview. [Ron Borden]
06/05/00 Monday Nitro Miss Hancock entered the ring and started a little dance routine until Kimberly and Mike Awesome came out. Kim said Hancock was stealing her spotlight and took the clipboard over her back. As Kim and Awesome walked away, Hancock told Mrs. Page to get her fat ass back to the ring. Kim said she would take care of Hancock later. Interview: Kimberly and Mike Awesome - As Pamela started the interview, Kim told her that she was forgiven for stealing the spotlight, because she was new. Kim challenged Miss Hancock to find a partner to face her and Mike Awesome. DDP and Miss Hancock d. Mike Awesome and Kimberly - Awesome told DDP that he had six days left until the end of his career. Kim came out, blowing mock kisses to the crowd. Miss Hancock made Kim sign a paper that released her from all damages she would do. Kim laughed and signed the paper. As Hancock brought DDP out for her partner, Kimberly reminded him of the 500-foot restraining order. Page was happy to point out that she just signed those rights away, and the match was on. Hancock and Kimberly exchanged dances until the leggy Hancock took Kim over by the hair with a series of snap mares. As DDP and Awesome got into the action, the two went back and forth, with the Career Killer getting the advantage. Awesome went for his famous Awesome Bomb, but Hancock distracted by lifting her skirt, allowing DDP to set and deliver the Diamond Cutter for the pinfall win. [wcw.com]
06/07/00 Wednesday Thunder Backstage, Daffney asked David Flair why he hadn't called her all week. WCW Cruiserweight Title Match - Lieutenant Loco with MIA d. Daffney with Crowbar and Disco Inferno with The Filthy Animals - Konnan told the crowd that Disco would walk all over Loco and Daffney. Disco rolled up Daffney early for a near fall that was broken up by Loco. Tygress did commentary at ringside. Crowbar took out The MIA with a somersault plancha to the floor. Miss Hancock came to the ramp, but was shoved from behind by Kimberly. This prompted Major Gunns to involve herself, chasing after the former Mrs. Page. In the ring, with the assist of G.I. Bro, Loco scored the pinfall, becoming the Cruiserweight Champion. After the bout, Major Gunns revived Loco with mouth to mouth. [wcw.com]
06/11/00 Great American Bash PPV - Ambulance Match "Career Killer" Mike Awesome d. Diamond Dallas Page with Chris Kanyon Page wheeled Chris Kanyon out onto the stage to watch the match. Dallas and Awesome brawled from the get go, taking it into the crowd. They moved back to the ring, each with a metal chair in hand ready for a joust. Page got the best of the Career Killer, smacking the chair over his head. Awesome slowed things down, overpowering DDP before going to the outside for a table. He put Diamond through the table and motioned for the paramedics to wheel him away. Page rolled off the stretcher and continued the fight, taking a series of chairshots from his opponent. Awesome dropped two incredible frogsplashes from the top rope, but missed the third attempt, giving Page some time to recoup. Kimberly entered the ring and took a lead pipe over the back of her former husband. Miss Hancock arrived and pulled Kim to the back by her hair. Awesome set DDP up on the ropes for an Awesome Bomb, but somehow it was turned into a Diamond Cutter, knocking Awesome out cold. As the paramedics wheeled Awesome away, Bischoff came from behind Kanyon with a chair, but was stopped by DDP at the last second. Kanyon stood up from his wheelchair and, to the shock of everyone, Diamond Cuttered Page from the stage onto a table below. Kanyon removed his shirt, revealing a New Blood cutoff underneath. He placed his former friend on the stretcher, giving Awesome the win in the Ambulance Match. [wcw.com] For Pics - Click Here.
06/12/00 Monday Nitro - Interview: Diamond Dallas Page Page said that all of his life, everyone told him that he couldn't do this and he couldn't do that. Eric Bischoff, Chris Kanyon and Kimberly came to the stage. Page told Kim that he missed the woman that used to be his wife. He looked Kanyon in the eye and told Chris he was the only man in the business Page ever took under his wing to pass on the knowledge he learned from legends like Jody Hamilton, Dusty Rhodes, and Jake Roberts. DDP ended by saying that if being in the business meant dealing with people like Eric Bischoff, he was done. He dropped the mic and exited the arena through the crowd as Bischoff seethed on the stage. A look of concern sat heavy on the faces of Kanyon and Kimberly. Interview: Chris Kanyon and Kimberly - Kim feigned concern for Page's retirement, but was soon over it, pushing her new perfume... Positively Me. Kanyon said that since he put DDP to pasture, he would not only take his spot, but his music, his wife, and his book as well. He talked about his new book, Positively Kanyon, holding up an altered copy of DDP's work. He challenged anyone in the back to come out and take his brand new move, the Diamond Cutter. Scott Steiner walked to the ring, asking Kanyon who hadn't been with Kim. Poppa Pump and the innovator of offense were soon tied up in the ring, with Steiner getting the best of the struggle. Mike Awesome joined the party, jumping Steiner in the ring. Kronic showed up for the save, as they fought into the crowd. When Kim attempted to follow, Miss Hancock headed her off, chasing her back into the ring. Kim sprayed Hancock in the face with the perfume and stepped on her glasses, crushing them into pieces. 06/16/00 Internet Rumors Wade Keller and Jason Powell of the Pro Wrestling Torch report that Kimberly Page, wife of Diamond Dallas Page, quit WCW sometime between Nitro and Thunder over "creative differences." Both Kimberly and DDP were not present at the Thunder tapings last night. DDP remains with the company. Although DDP has not quit, several backstage sources say Page has not been pleased with the direction of WCW and how he has been used by Vince Russo and Eric Bischoff. As always, there a possibility that Kimberly quitting is part of an angle, but nobody backstage in WCW seemed to be under that impression. The attitude backstage Tuesday was that she quit and that nobody knew what her specific blow-up with management entailed or whether a reconciliation is expected. [Jay Serrano] Ever since the RUMOR (I don't think it's official....yet) of Kim Page quitting WCW came around, there has been vicious talk of her heading on up to the WWF. The WWF are said to be interested in using her services, but not those of her husband, DDP, considering his age. So absolutely NO deal will go ahead anytime soon, that is a guarantee, don't listen to any reports you may hear saying otherwise. Kim will most likely resolve her differences with WCW in the very near future, and you can expect to see her on TV with minimum fuss, as they are really no other options for her to seek. Well except six-figure deals with Penthouse. [Jonny Farrer] Kimberly Page, Kimberly Falkenberg, has decided to quit World Championship Wrestling after disagreeing with certain storylines and the overall development of her character. This announcement comes on the heels of rumors suggesting Diamond Dallas Page, Page Falkenberg, and wife Kimberly were both heavily disenchanted with their status in WCW. Furthermore, Kimberly was not happy about the Tammy Sytch situation in the girls locker room where there was an apparent vile found. A source in WCW claims that they believe Kimberly and DDP are attempting a power move as both characters have had their roles diminished in the past few months. [Justin Winslow]
06/23/00 Internet Rumors Well once again, conflicting rumors. Imagine that! Kim Page is expected to meet with WCW officials sometime before the June 19th Monday Nitro to try and work at their differences. Kim is apparently extremely unhappy that she wasn't allowed to take much time off to nurse her husband, DDP, while he recovers from injury. She did not quit because of woman beating angles, nor the fact they wouldn't give her time off to appear in Playboy. In fact that's the opposite, Russo would've welcomed exposure in Playboy for WCW. Reports are that Russo is dead set against bringing Kim, Luger and Liz back into the fold, whether that is true or not time will tell, but it is highly likely all will reach an agreement and be back on TV with anyone noticing. [Jonny Farrer] It was leaked Wednesday morning that Kimberly had quit WCW because of "creative differences", and now those differences are known. A source in WCW says that Kimberly quit the company not only because of an angle where she would get "roughed up" by Scott Steiner.. but because they turned down an offer by Playboy on her behalf. Playboy had apparently wanted the services of Kimberly Page once again (I guess because she's got a much more active role in WCW then she had years ago when she first posed) and instead of WCW telling her about it, they declined it before she knew about it. [Mike Shalik] Kimberly's problems with WCW are not a result of WCW vetoing a Playboy shoot. Kimberly was up for being in a Women In Sports issue of Playboy, but Chyna was going to be in it, too, and the WWF has a policy of not participating in media stories if WCW or ECW is also included. That forced Playboy to choose one or the other, and they chose WWF and Chyna. Just for your information, it is not a nude shoot. [Xing Wang] Friday, on WCW Live, when asked the question if Kim Page was still with WCW, Bob Ryder replied with a resounding yes, I hope this clears up any rumors that she has in fact quit. As with Russo, she may be unhappy with some things, but by no means has she parted ways with the company. A meeting is expected with officials before Nitro to try and solve any disputes, if there are any. The only dispute is how much time she is allowed off to take care of her husband, DDP. On the subject of her not being allowed to pose in Playboy, it was because it was a special sports edition, with WWF's Chyna also appearing. It was agreed on both Kim's and WCW's part that it be best to not partake in media promotions with opposition talent. Kim however is scheduled to appear in Playboy, hopefully sooner rather than later. [Jonny Farrer]
06/30/00 Internet Rumors Kimberly has indeed been written out of WCW storylines for the time being, until and or if they can get things straightened out. According to several sources, Kimberly had a disagreement with management backstage at a recent Thunder taping. [Justin Fritz] Kimberly isn't quite done with WCW, but there are no plans for her return at the moment, according to a source close to the situation. Basically, there is a hope that both sides (including Scott Steiner) can have a cooling off period and come to agreement for her return. [Ryan McGavock]
07/15/00 Internet News There have been a ton of rumors in the past few weeks about Kimberly's current status and her feelings regarding the WCW. In an exclusive interview with Missy Lynne Winter of Rampage magazine (Sept. 2000 Issue) she was asked "What would you do if you could run the WCW?" Kimberly's reply: "I would definitely keep Eric and Vince in charge of the creative. I would expand the production department, because they are the most grossly overworked and underpaid people in the industry. I think that would improve the quality of our show... I'd expand the production side and work real hard, as I think Eric and Vince are, to build the characters into people that our fans really care about. And I don't mean just the big stars. I mean some of the younger ones, the up-and-coming talent, too."
Now I don't know about you, but this sure doesn't sound like an 'it's all about me' girl that is having a problem with her role or status in the company. Pick up a copy of the mag. The article touches on quite a few interesting opinions and comments. And for you Marks out there - no DDP and Kimberly are not getting a divorce. As a matter of fact she's found the experience just a little 'weird', even some of their close friends and family members have shown concern over what they had perceived as being 'real'.
08/11/00 Internet Rumor DDP and Kimberly should be returning either at or just after New Blood Rising. It's possible they may return as a team once more, although that is not to be confirmed. DDP will of course re-start his feud with Kanyon. [Jonny Farrer]
08/25/00 Internet Rumor In the event Diamond Dallas Page became a free agent, the WWF would be interested in his services, but in a limited wrestling capacity. A training role would almost certainly be on the cards. They would also stress that Kimberly Page, his wife, was a part of the package. It is said they would have big plans for Kim, if indeed the jump did take place. [Jon Farrer]
09/01/00 Internet Rumor Several people in the WWF are curios to see that if Diamond Dallas Page comes to the WWF, will Kimberly also? Kimberly is unlikely to fit in with the current group of women in the WWF locker room. In the WCW women's locker room, Kimberly is extremely unpopular. [Michael Payton]
09/22/00 Internet Rumor Kimberly Page recently told a couple of close friends that her husband, Diamond Dallas Page will be returning to action in World Championship Wrestling one week from this Monday (9/18) night. Expect DDP to be involved in several new angles, also expect him to align himself against Vince Russo's new group. [Mitch Newton]
11/06/00 Monday Nitro - Interview: Diamond Dallas Page Page returned to a thunderous ovation; he said the fan support was instrumental in his decision. Saying he was back and was jacked, DDP said Ric Flair called him for help with WCW and, after some trepidation, he accepted. As DDP began to leave, the Battle Dome warriors came to the front row and issued a challenge. Page called Rick Steiner, Buff Bagwell and The Cat to the ring; a brief scuffle took place before referees and WCW security pulled everyone apart. [wcw.com]
12/22/00 Internet News There was a huge backstage fight between Scott Steiner and Diamond Dallas Page. It all revolved around what Steiner said about Page on air. Here is an excerpt from my Nitro report about what Steiner said:
"Steiner said that Flair is finding being the CEO a harder job than he expected. Flair is running out of opponents that Steiner can defeat. Steiner then says he wants DDP to have a sex change so that he can have enough balls to take on Steiner. He went on to call DDP trailer park trash and begged Flair to give Steiner a match to DDP with him."
Anyways, multiple sources are reporting that those comments were improv, steaming from DDP not working house shows against Steiner last week, due to previous heat between Steiner and Page's wife Kimberly. After Steiner finished his promo, he went backstage and from there we have two stories. According to the Torch, one witness said that Page suckerpunched Stiener and another said that Page shoved Steiner and Steiner attacked Page and gave some good shots until seven or so wrestlers broke it up. [Robert Pasbani The Rock, Diamond Dallas Page, and Kimberly Page will all be participating in the VALIDSites.com Orange Bowl Parade this year. The parade takes plays on New Year’s Eve, in Miami, from 5-7 P.M. [Jeff Peltzman]
