It looks like Kimberly may have a new admirer, actually it's an idiot who doesn't seem to want to leave her alone.  To start the girls new year off right, it appears that none other than Big Poppa Pump has decided he's gonna have her, whether she likes it or not.  He made this quit clear on Monday Nitro as he entered her dressing room twice and had to be asked to leave by WCW security.  I would assume that the plot is heading for a confrontation between DDP and Steiner.  For Pics - Click Here.

02/02/99
Well now Big Poppa Pump had gone and done it.  Apparently during a practice before the show on Monday Nitro, Steiner and Kimberly were having a discussion.  Scott grabbed Kimberly's arm and when she went to pull it back from him she fell and hit her head against the floor.  She was taken to the hospital.  DDP found out as soon as he got to the arena and he went to the nWo dressing room and told them that they better hope that Kimberly was OK.  He then got in his car and rushed to the hospital.  We did not find out on the Monday night or Thursday night broadcast what condition Kimberly was in.

02/08/99
Kimberly must not have been hurt too bad, since she was out dancing with the Nitro Girls again.  DDP was watching each time that Kim and the Nitro Girls performed.  Supposedly Big Poppa Pump was not at the arena, but...

As Kimberly was leaving for the night and heading for the car that DDP was in, Steiner came up behind her and started harassing her.  DDP stepped out of the car and both men began to fight.   Immediately officials and security for the WCW came out to break up the fight.   Somehow during the confusion Steiner slipped out of the melee and got into the car and drove off with Kimberly inside.  DDP chased the car on foot a little ways into the garage area, until Steiner turned around to head directly for him.  As the car sped towards DDP Kimberly jumped or was pushed from the passenger seat and thrown to the ground.  Paramedics placed a neck brace on Kimberly and began loading her into the ambulance.

02/15/99
It was reported that Kimberly had suffered lacerations on her face and a minor concussion from the accident last week.

WebMaster's Note:  There is a rumor circulating that Kimberly is scheduled to get a breast enlargement which is why she needs the time off.

02/21/99 SuperBrawl PPV
Although DDP and Steiner had their match, Kimberly was no where to be seen.  DDP put up a good fight but he was unable to beat Steiner and Bagwell who cut the padding on the turnbuckles so that Steiner could slam DDP's back into them.  This allowed Steiner to easily get the Steiner Recliner on his opponent for the win.  The next night on Nitro, Steiner told DDP who was in the hospital "While your layin' there hollerin' in pain, I'll be layin' on your old lady who'll be hollerin' my name."  I don't think this feud is over yet.

04/12/99 Monday Nitro
After DDP won the World's championship belt last night at the Spring Stampede PPV he decided to challenge Big Poppa Pump to a match for the belt on Nitro.  Now the last time DDP met Steiner he was thoroughly beaten by the 'genetic freak' (can you spell steroids).  Kimberly accompanied him to ringside, which is the first time we've seen her since the car accident.  She was a little unwilling to go down to the ring but DDP finally talked her into sitting in the audience.

Although DDP gave as good as he got, things started looking bleak for the champion.  Big Poppa went to his old bag of tricks and cut the padding from the turnbuckle and proceeded to slam DDP's back into it like he did during their last match.  After escaping a Steiner Recliner DDP was flat on the mat.  While Big Poppa stood over him DDP took the opportunity to give Poppa's crotch a couple of head butts which sent the 'freak' reeling against the ropes.  Low and behold, Kimberly who has put up with a heap of abuse from Big Poppa apparently decided it was time to pay him back, and boy did she with a chair right to the face.  That was it for Big Poppa and DDP won the match.  For pics - Click Here.

WebMaster's Note:  It would appear that the rumor (see 02-15-99) about Kimberly getting a breast enlargement was true.   She looked phenomenal in her white outfit.

The Nitro Girls taped an episode of 'Dinner and a Movie' that will air sometime in October on TBS. [Silvernspice, Mike Collins]

This comes from Kimberly Page, wife of Diamond Dallas Page... "I guess I should address the continuing gossip about the Nitro Girls. Mark Madden's report was completely inaccurate. I have not quit the Nitro Girls. I have decided to bring on a coordinator to run the administrative aspect of our program. I will continue to dance and act as the leader of the Nitro Girls, however, you can also add to my role doing some stuff with Page in the near future. I am very excited by that prospect. I don't know where that rumor came from. [Beulahmg]

10/18/99 Monday Nitro
Well this looked like it might be interesting and as it turned out it got even more bizarre!.  Initially Kimberly appeared with two new Nitro Girl candidates in an interview with Mean Gene.  As soon as she was done we saw her backstage calling and looking for David Flair - what the hell?

Once she found David she seduced him and told him to meet her later at her hotel room and handed him her room cardkey as he stared dumbfounded.  (Obviously he wouldn't know what to do if he had her.)  When Kimberly arrived at the room David was already in the shower and she took the opportunity two pour two glasses of champagne and started to open a pill bottle, obviously to put into David's drink.  Just about that time the bathroom door opened and out stepped a 'wolf' instead of the 'sheep' she was expecting.  It was poppa Ric Flair instead of David.  We didn't see what happened next but we did see Ric re-entering the arena with a spring to his step and a big ole smile on his face!  For pics - Click Here.

10/24/99 Halloween Havoc PPV
Kimberly and DDP came out early in the evening and she chastised Ric for giving her a 'spanking' in the hotel room on Monday Night.  This caused DDP to issue a challenge to Ric for a 'strap' match later in the evening.

The match itself went all over the arena including out into the audience.  Flair also took the opportunity to plant two big 'wet ones' (What a night he had!  See Torrie 10/24/99) on Kimberly which really upset DDP causing him to beat Ric with the strap as well as opening a cut on Flair's forehead.  Finally Flair caught DDP with a low blow sending him to the mat. Ric went to work on the leg of Page eventually getting him in the figure four. Writhing in pain, DDP managed to grab the bottom rope, forcing a break on the hold. DDP followed up with two low blows of his own and then caught Flair in a Diamond Cutter. Page covered Flair and referee Charles Robinson, hesitating to make the three-count, called for the bell, ending the match.

Having been cheated by Charles Robinson DDP applied a Diamond Cutter on him as David Flair, with a crowbar in hand, ran down to save his father. Kimberly met David with a knee to the groin and slid the crowbar into the ring where DDP used it to beat on Ric, hitting him in the stomach and the groin. Once David got up from Kimberly's well placed knee shot he received another work over by DDP.  For pics - Click Here.

10/25/99 Monday Nitro
DDP met David Flair in the tournament for the WCW Championship belt that was up for grabs. It was decided at the beginning of the program that it no longer belonged to Sting who had assaulted a WCW official the night before.  Flair came to the ring and DDP opened David's robe to check that there was nothing under the robe.  Taking off his robe revealed that David had stashed a crowbar in the back he was quick to use it on the an unsuspecting DDP.  After severely injuring DDP the paramedics came to the ring and took Page out on a stretcher.

11/01/99 Monday Nitro
According to Kimberly DDP suffered a chipped collar bone, a cracked sternum/ribs and as such she had "more important business to take care of right now" than continue with the Nitro Girls.  She informed the Nitro Girls that she was leaving the group.  This would seem to indicate that the internet rumors about "the powers that be" wanting to expand her role in the WCW are true.  As soon as the 'team captain' left however the Nitro Girls began fighting amongst themselves about who should lead the group.  For pics - Click Here.

Later in the evening when David Flair was leaving the arena and heading for his car Kimberly hit him with her car.  She drove off leaving David on the concrete.

11/08/99 Monday Nitro
After being stalked by a tire iron wielding David Flair all night Kimberly had finally had enough! Coming out to the ring Kimberly called out David Flair and informed him that she wouldn't run any longer. She challenged him to do whatever he was going to do but when David complied Bam Bam Bigelow attacked him. David took several rough shots, but then surprised the Beast from the East with a mule kick and then whacked the huge Bigelow with his tire iron. Turning his attention back to Kimberly he discovered she had had already run into the stands and he took off after her through the crowd.

In the parking area, David chased Kimberly to her car and, after she locked the doors, the young madman broke all of the car windows. Creative Control - the two goons for "Powers that be" - scared David off and took Kimberly to meet their bosses.

11-15-99 Monday Nitro
Kimberly waited for a meeting with The Powers. One of the Creative Control duo checked out the former Nitro Girl – and not for weapons. Kimberly spoke to The Powers and demanded they cancel her match against David Flair. Instead, the mysterious voice told Kim she would have to wrestle Asya later in the evening. The Powers also promised there would be a special referee.

As soon as Torrie came out in her referee bikini Asya took offense and started giving Torrie a bad time until Torrie finally slapped her.  That was enough for Asya to decide she was going to beat on Torrie instead of Kimberly.  After Asya threw Torrie out of the ring where Kidman rushed out with a coat to cover her, Kimberly decided to take a chance and jump Asya from behind and try a sleeper hold.  This was successful only momentarily as Asya snapmared her throwing Kimberly to the mat.  While Asya was trying to regain her senses Kim attacked again using a belt from her outfit to choke Asya with.

About the time that Asya was able to free herself a crowbar wielding David Flair headed towards the ring which caused Kimberly to quickly exit stage left.  As David walked into the ring Asya put a sidewalk slam on him, a brutal elbow to the groin area and tried to finish off with a crowbar to his head.  David was fast enough to get his feet planted in Asya chest and kick her off before suplexing her.  David took off as soon as soon as he used the crowbar to the arm cast of Shane Douglas who came in to save Asya.  For pics - Click Here.

11-18-99
Kimberly was asked what she was doing to prepare for her match against David Flair. She was very honest and was only told she was doing this a week or so ago so she really doesn't have time to properly prepare, she's not going to tell people she is the reincarnation of Rey Mysterio because "that would be bull$hit." It was a huge departure for her because for over the last two years she has been committed to the Nitro Girls and saw them everyday. Now she doesn't see them at all. She did confirm that "Amy"/AC Jazz had handed in her resignation to the new choreographer/wrangler. Kimberly wished her well and said she had been doing dance camps and cheerleading schools before she was a Nitro Girl. [WCW Live Report]

11-21-99 Mayhem PPV
Flair made his way to the ring, crowbar in hand. Kimberly came out, looking as confident as ever. As Kim stretched in the corner, Flair moved in and was kicked low. This however, didn't affect him, as he was wearing a protective cup. Flair hit referee Nick Patrick with the crowbar and moved in. This time, Kimberly dropped to her knees and begged for forgiveness. As he paused in uncertainty, she reached down his pants and pulled out the cup, delivering a kick between the legs. She continued to kick him, but Flair recovered, and as he moved in for the certain attack, Kanyon arrived, saving Kim from her inevitable beating. DDP also limped his way to the ring and delivered Flair a Diamond Cutter. DDP, about to finish Flair off, was stopped by Arn Anderson, who ran in to save David. As Page, Kim and Kanyon left the ring, Flair got up and snapped, attacking Arn with the crowbar. The EMTs attended to Anderson in the ring and Flair made his escape through the crowd. Kimberly Page had some shocking news during the WCW Starrcade Webcast as she announced that she is considering a retirement from the wrestling business. She said that working in the same business as her husband has put a strain in her marriage and feels that her marriage is more important than her career. [Robert Pasbani]
