On "WCW: Live!" Tuesday, Jeremy Borash, one of the shows' co-hosts, updated us on the whereabouts of Leia Meow. Known as Kimona while in ECW, Leia's been out as of late due to the fact Russo couldn't fit her into any active WCW storyline. Once the Varsity Club ordeal was nixed, Meow was drowned with it ... however, Borash explained on the program yesterday that she is still under WCW contract. Until Vince finds a reasonable place for her on WCW TV, she'll remain under evaluation. [Mikey G.]

08/23/00 Wednesday Thunder - The Harris Brothers d. The Jung Dragons
The Big Harris Brothers played with the Dragons, throwing them around the ring and outside it, where they used a steel chair on Jami San. After delivering a pair of H-Bombs, Ron and Don took the easy win. The pair continued their assault until Kronic ran out. The four continued the fight into the crowd. Leia Meow came down the aisle and told the Jung Dragons to follow her to the back. [wcw.com]

Backstage, Leia Meow slapped the Jung Dragons around and told them they would start winning or they would lick her boots. However, if they started to win, she would lick theirs. [wcw.com]

WebMaster's Note: It would appear that maybe Kimona/Leah will finally be given a role that might go somewhere.  Certainly the Jung Dragons have been entertaining lately.  Couple that with the OUTSTANDING (it definitely showed her assets) black sexy top that Leah was wearing and the dominatrix attitude of her character and the WCW may have something here.  Of course

09/18/00 Monday Nitro
It's been quite a few years since WCW held a bikini contest; and the promotion has never boasted such beautiful (and dangerous) ladies. Not only does the contest promise daring suits and surprise contestants, but WCW is also working to secure members of Howard Stern's "whack pack" as celebrity judges for the event. The first annual Miss WCW bikini contest will be held next Monday at Nitro in Uniondale, New York. All of your favorite WCW female personalities will be competing wearing bikinis that defy description. Included contestants are: Baby (Nitro Girl), Chae (Nitro Girl), Chiquita (Nitro Girl), Daffney, Leia Meow, Madusa, Major Gunns, Midajah, Ms. Jones, Paisley, Pamela Paulshock, Stacy Keibler (Miss Hancock), Starr (Nitro Girl), Syren (Nitro Girl), Torrie Wilson and Tygress. 09/20/00 Wednesday Thunder - The Jung Dragons and Leia Meow d. the Natural Born Thrillers
The Thrillers overshadowed the Dragons, using their power to take a commanding advantage. Kaz charged in with a brief offensive flurry, but soon fell victim to the Seanton Bomb. Sanders, who had been announcing at ringside during the bout, reentered, but was stopped by the Oriental trio, who used their high intensity style to make a comeback. As Jindrak and O' Haire did some color commentary, Leia Meow removed her boots, climbed to the top, and jumped off the ropes onto Sanders for the upset pinfall. [wcw.com]

09/25/00 Monday Nitro - WCW Bikini Competition Winner -- Pamela Paulshock
Crackhead Bob, High Pitch Jerry, Beetlejuice, Fred the Elephant Boy and Hank the Angry Drunken Dwarf came out as the official judges. Chae, of the Nitro Girls, came out first, followed by Nitro Girl Chiquita and Torrie Wilson. Removing each other's robes, Tygress and Paisley were up next. Leia Meow entered, with Major Gunns finally joining the contest. Gunns wore a red, white, and blue bikini; Canadian convert "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan came to the ring and told her to shut her mouth. He covered the Major up with the Canadian flag, eliminating her from the contest. Pamela, who was wearing a fur coat, said it was getting hot. She removed her coat, revealing an amazing bikini. Although she said she wasn't entered in the competition, all of the Wack Pack voted for Pamela, making her the unanimous winner. Leia Meow grabbed Pam by the hair and threatened to whip her. WebMaster's Note: Well there seems to be a bit of controversy over this event (See the Rumors below).  I have to agree with the WCW officials in their assessment of the event.  But part of that may have been because their 'standards and practices' seems to have dual standards.  From a viewer's angle - "How come I can see Leia Meow's ass while she's using her riding crop between Pamela's breast's but I cannot get a close up of most of the women taking their robes off and showing me what I tuned in for? T&A!!!"  Hey guys, that's what a Bikini Contest is for.  I'm not sure whether the women just weren't into it or the promotion just didn't take the whole thing seriously.  They pay the money to get Howard Stern's freaks as judges but then the girls and/or the promotion doesn't insure that every one looks like they really are into the event and having a good time?  Come on.  Of course if you read below this attitude might be in part to the supposed rumor that Pamela winning was 'fixed', but so what?  It's not like this Contest is going to win you anything.  Bottom Line - I'm not sure who we should blame for another non-event "event" (this makes two in a month - i.e. Hancock/Flair wedding), the women or the promotion but it was disappointing.  Even so OWOW has supplied you with a number of pics (90) from the event.

INTERNET RUMORS
WCW officials were disappointed with Nitro's bikini contest. Besides Torrie Wilson, none of the girls acted like it was bikini contest. Torrie played the crowd as she was supposed to. Pamela wasn't even wearing an actual bikini, if you noticed. [Chris Goldsmith]

There has been a little controversy over the scheduled Bikini Contest tonight on Nitro. Paula Paulshock who is a bikini contest regular refused to take place in this upcoming contest unless she was guaranteed the win. Bikini contests are usually fixed just like wrestling and the contracted woman always end up winning the contest. Apparently WCW women are not to happy with losing to an outsider. [Jimmy Van]

Pamela Paulshock refused to participate in the Nitro Bikini Contest unless she was promised the win. Instead of telling her to hit the bricks, they bowed down to her and agreed. The other girls were understandably upset with having to go out there and lose a worked contest to a girl who never even stripped down to her bikini bottoms. Amazingly WCW.com ran a poll asking who looked the best, and Pamela won that one as well. Congrats. [Justin Fritz]

Last night, at Nitro, many were expecting high expectations for the Swim Suit contest. First of all, it was said that the contest would be who could bare the most skin, which wasn't the case at all.  The best part about the competition was what WCW officials did to have Jim Duggan come out and cover up Major Gunns' American bathing suit. That segment was well planned and really added to the USA vs. Canada angle, in WCW. Other than that one high point, many fans were disappointed and WCW officials were also disappointed that the contest didn't get over well with the crowd, like they wanted. [Mark Peters]

09/27/00 Wednesday Thunder - The Lava Lamp Lounge: Midajah
"That '70s Guy" Mike Awesome asked Midajah where Scott Steiner was. When she said he was backstage working out with no access to a monitor, Awesome made his move. She warned him Big Poppa might get mad, but he continued with his lame pick up lines. Leia Meow came out and asked why Midajah was on the show instead of her. The ladies started to fight, eventually destroying Awesome's set after throwing him over the back of the couch. Midajah put Meow in the Steiner Recliner before security broke things up. [wcw.com]

10/04/00 Wednesday Thunder - Handicapped Match Scott Steiner with Midajah d. The Jung Dragons with Leia Meow
After the Dragons and the beautiful Meow made their way to the ring, Scott Steiner's music played, revealing Midajah's plan to everyone. Yang was the first victim, when Pump slammed him over the top rope to the floor. Jaime-San and Kaz ran in, but suffered similar punishments, as Big Poppa squashed them into the canvas. Outside the ring Midajah tried to interfere, but Meow grabbed her. In the end, Big Poppa applied a double Steiner Recliner to Kaz and Jaime-San for the win. [wcw.com]

10/23/00 Monday Nitro - Karate Demonstration, Above Average Mike Sanders d. The Jung Dragons
The Cruiserweight Champion entered the ring wearing kick boxing gear. He said he would put on an exhibition for everyone and called out The Jung Dragons. Sanders squirted a foreign substance on his gloves before the bell, and knocked Jaime-San and Yang out after blinding them. Kaz jumped the champion before the third round, but he too went down in defeat. Leia Meow kicked Mike low, but hurt her foot; Sanders revealed a protective cup inside his pants. Ms. Jones came down the aisle to distract Above Average as The Cat ran out of the crowd and dropped him with a roundhouse front kick. [wcw.com]

10/25/00 Wednesday Thunder - The Cat and Ms. Jones d. Above Average Mike Sanders and Leia Meow
The Cat Ernest Miller told Mike Sanders to come to the ring for a fight. Sanders arrived and called for a tag team match, pitting The Cat and Ms. Jones against Sanders and his special partner, Leia Meow. Miller tore into the Cruiserweight Champion, sending him to the floor early to collect his thoughts. The men tagged in Jones and Meow, but they just stared at each other, prompting Sanders to re-enter. Meow slapped Mike across the face, turning it into a three-on-one. The Cat delivered a big elbow drop on Sanders, allowing Jones and Meow to cover him for the victory. [wcw.com]

11/01/00 Wednesday Thunder - 3 Count d. The Jung Dragons with Leia Meow
As 3 Count stood in the ring, Sugar Shane confronted Evan Karagias about his cockiness before their performance. The Dragons came into the ring and the opening bout was on. Sugar Shane and Shannon Moore gelled well on a series of double team moves on the young men from the Orient. Moore and Kaz turned it up with an astounding display of high flying, but as soon as Karagias tagged in, he was more into strutting for the ladies in the crowd than keeping the advantage. On the other side of the ring, Kaz avoided a tag to Jaime-San, passing him over to tag Yang into the action. After a double team finisher by Moore and Helms, Karagias pushed himself on top of Jaime-San to score the pin. Evan's cockiness angered his partners one too many times, as Shannon and Shane jumped Karagias, planting him with their devastating finisher. The Dragons were having their problems as well when Yang and Kaz put the boots to Jaime-San, kicking him out of the group. Leia Meow removed his masked and she left the ring with the remaining Dragons. Jaime-San and Evan had a stare down before exiting. [wcw.com]

11/20/00 Monday Nitro - Jaime Noble d. Yang with Leia Meow
Yang, joined by the beautiful Leia Meow, charged the ring against his former tag team partner. The two battled back and forth, before things got heated, causing Yang to bring a chair into the ring. Referee Mark Johnson stopped him before he could use it, but Leia Meow intervened, delivering a huracanrana to Noble off the apron. Evan Karagias came to ringside, but Shannon Moore and Sugar Shane Helms stopped and beat him. In the end, Noble rolled up Yang with a surprise sunset flip pin. Moore and Helms attacked the two after the match, but Karagias ran in, joining Noble in clearing the ring. [wcw.com]

11/26/00 Mayhem PPV - Sugar Shane Helms and Shannon Moore d. The Jung Dragons with Leia Meow and Evan Karagias and Jaime Noble
Shane and Shannon mouthed off to the crowd before all three teams fought on the ramp. Once inside, The Dragons sent Helms and Moore back to the floor before tangling with Noble and Karagias. Karagias and Noble double teamed Sugar Shane, but he made the tag with Shannon, who sent the former Jaime-San over in a huge German suplex. Kaz and Moore were next in the ring, putting on a display of high flying and wrestling expertise. Shane delivered a senton sunset flip, but Yang kicked him square in the head. Each man entered the ring; one after the other applied his finisher. A series of dives over the top rope followed, including one by Leia Meow, who took the final dive from the top turnbuckle to the floor and knocked down the whole group. A ladder was brought into play, but only used briefly before being removed. While chaos ensued in the ring, Shane Helms was able to secure a pin to win the bout for 3 Count. [wcw.com]

11/27/00 Monday Nitro - Jung Dragon Yang with Leia Meow d. Lance Storm with Major Gunns
Storm got on the mic and told Rection somehow, somewhere he was going to get back at him. Yang jumped the former Canadian Champion as the national anthem played, taking advantage of the opportunity while Storm was distracted. Lance gained control and beat Yang to the canvas, but the quick Dragon fought back with several near falls, taking Storm off balance. As Major Gunns and Leia Meow tangled outside, The Cat came in with a steel chair surprise for Storm, leading to an upset pinfall for the Jung Dragon. [wcw.com]

11/29/00 Wednesday Thunder - Jung Dragons with Leia Meow d. Elix Skipper and Lance Storm with Major Gunns and Hacksaw Jim Duggan
Yang and Skipper started the match with some fast paced mat wrestling, ending with the Canadians scurrying from the ring. Storm interfered from the apron and gained momentary control for his team, but the Dragons recouped and continued to shine. In an outstanding move, Primetime walked across the top rope to deliver a huracanrana to Kaz. Yang got the hot tag, leading to all four men coming into the ring. Skipper brought Kaz off the top turnbuckle with a double-armed suplex. Outside, Leia Meow and Major Gunns got into a catfight while The Cat ran down to prevent Jim Duggan from interfering. When all the dust had settled, the Jung Dragons raised their hands in victory. [wcw.com]
