02/23/07 Internet News - Lilian In Minor Accident
If you noticed, Lilian Garcia wasn't doing the announcing on this week's edition of RAW. Strangely enough, she flew all the way to California to sing the national anthem before a SmackDown pay-per-view the night before, so well whatever came up with her, must have been sudden. In Jim Ross' latest blog, he had this to say regarding Lilian Garcia: "Lilian Garcia was involved in a minor accident on Sunday at No Way Out and she should be back handling the ring announcing at RAW Monday in Fresno, which looks to be close to selling out!" 03/30/07 Internet News - Lilian Having Surgery
Lilian Garcia posted a message on her official website stating that she has indeed torn her ACL in her right knee. Her injury will require surgery, but she convinced the doctor to hold it off until after WrestleMania because she didn't want to miss the festivities. Her surgery will be taking place on Thursday, April 5th in New York City. Rajah.com

RAW ring announcer Lilian Garcia is still trying to recover from ACL surgery and will return to her position with the company once the rehabilitation process is completed. Rajah.com

07/06/07 Internet News - Lilian Garcia Speaks On Return
Lilian Garcia resumed her ring announcing duties on Raw on Monday night, three months to the day of her last appearance on Raw. Lilian posted up a message on her official website, LilianGarcia.com, regarding her return to duty and how she's feeling now after tearing the ACL in her right knee back in March in a skiing accident. Unfortunately for Lilian, she's still in pain from the injury. She was only able to announce in the ring during the first two matches (a fan in attendance noted that she needed a little help to even get in the ring) as she stood outside the ring the rest of the night because her knee was giving her too much trouble from getting in and out of the ring. Even though she's not at 100% quite yet, she plans on gutting it out and she'll be at Raw next Monday night in New Orleans. Here is the message Lilian posted:

Hi Everyone,

Wow, it felt so great to be back last night!! Unfortunately, even though my heart was ready, my leg didn't exactly cooperate. If you noticed I was only in the ring for the first two matches & then I had to announced the rest of the matches from outside the ring. It was just that my knee was having a hard time getting used to climbing the ring stairs, getting in the ring & also wearing heels! Girls have it so rough! =)

Anyway, I will be back next week & hopefully be able to announce in the ring! Thank you to everyone that was there last night!! You gave me such a welcoming reception that it brought a tear to my eye. Thank you also to all of you for your messages in my guest book. I want you to know that even though I can’t respond all of your messages, I read them all & they mean the world to me!!

08/13/07 Monday Night Raw - New York City, New York - WWE Idol Contest
Todd Grisham welcomed us to tonight's second hour. Grisham introduced WWE Idol. He then announced William Regal as one of the celebrity judges. Grisham introduced Maria as the second guest. Maria said Grisham's pitch was great, but his melody was off. Grisham was confused, as was Maria. Grisham then brought out Mick Foley as the third guest. Anything to get on TV and finagle a check. Foley said he realized two things on the way to the ring. One is how great it is to be in New York City. The second is that he will do anything for money. True dat. In a shocking development, the first contestant was Jillian Hall. She came out on stage wearing so much eye make-up that her eyes were invisible. Jillian went for some Broadway show tunes, but they didn't quite hit. Foley said for the first time in his life, he's glad he had his ear ripped off. Maria tried to find a complement. Regal said tonight's main event should be Roe vs. Wade because that was an abortion. He told her to scram. Our next guests where Iron Sheik and Nikolai Volkoff, accompanied by The Fink. Fink announced that everyone rise for the singing of the Soviet National Anthem. Volkoff started to sing, like it was the 1980's in the Garden all over again. Foley said that was classic, and he was impressed when the fans chanting, "U-S-A" didn't affect him. Maria said she couldn't understand anything. Sheik took the mic and ripped on Regal. Who knows what he said, but I think he said something about selling out MSG. Security then intervened and escorted them away. Lillian Garcia came out last and started to sing "New York, New York," but Santino interrupted. Santino said Lillian's outfit looks like Times Square is missing a dirty prostitute. Santino then busted out a song. Someone ate at Olive Garden over the weekend. Maria was smitten. Foley cut him off and said listening to that was almost as painful as watching him wrestle. Santino sarcastically said that was funny, but he's leaving with Maria. Maria said she's still judging, so she can't leave. Ron Simmons walked out and Santino made fun of him for rhyming like Sesame Street. Simmons didn't take too kindly, so he chucked Santino into the side of the Titantron. Regal announced Simmons as the winner, then Simmons paused for dramatic effect and shouted, "Damn!" PowerWrestling.com

WWE RAW ring announcer Lillian Garcia is scheduled to release her new album called “Quiero Vivi” next month. The name of the album is in Spanish and means “I want to live”. Top Latin artist worked with Lillian on the new album. The scheduled release date for the album is October

Beth Phoenix comes to the ring and she takes the mic from Lillian before she leaves the ring. Beth introduces herself and she says that she is just as beautiful as she is dangerous. It means that it is a matter of time before she becomes the Women’s Champion. She says that it is just formality before she beats Candice Michelle on Sunday. Beth asks Lillian to announce her as the new champion. Lillian announces Beth as the new champion. Lillian says that is assuming she can beat Candice on Sunday. Beth wonders what Lillian meant by ‘assuming’. Beth asks Lillian how it will be to promote her new album with a crushed throat. Beth chokes Lillian, but Candice comes to the ring and she attacks Beth from behind. Candice hits a flying clothesline on Beth. PowerWrestling.com

03/13/08 Internet News - Lilian To Make Stage Appearances Soon
Attention Lilian Garcia fans in the tristate area – the Raw ring announcer may soon be hitting a stage near you!

“Well the record came out in October, Quiero Vivir. I have a band and so we’re reorganizing. My agenda is to be out performing a lot of shows and trying do maybe two shows a week or something like that. They’re going to be mostly in New Jersey because there are a lot of clubs there that are open for that kind of stuff, live music and all,” the Diva said.

“This year I’m focusing on stuff that just makes me happy. Singing makes me happy,” Lilian said with a smile. WWE.com
