Essa Rios successfully defended his Light Heavyweight title against Funaki from Kaientai using his finishing move - the moonsault.  Lita finalized the damage after the pinfall by performing a second moonsault on Funaki.

Joey Abs did a great job while trying to defeat the Light Heavyweight champion. Several times he pinned Essa but he was unable to get the job done. Essa finished Joey off with his signature moonsault while Lita followed up with the same maneuver which almost missed Joey who was laid out in the middle of the ring. After the match Pete and Rodney stood on the floor bad mouthing Essa and his valet. The pair took things into their own hands by taking flying leaps from the top ropes and landing smack on top of the Greenwich boys, knocking them to the floor.

02/27/00 Sunday Heat
Essa Rios met Mosh from the Headbangers for a single's match.  It was a pretty even match between the two until Thrasher interfered by pulling Essa out of the ring and beating on him.  After throwing Essa back into the ring Thrasher was attacked by an angry Lita who jumped from the top step and placed a hurricanrana on the surprised interloper.  Lita then got on the top rope and performed the same move on Mosh which caused the match to end in a DQ.

In one of the most amazing matches in the history of the Light Heavyweight Division, Jeff Hardy defeated Essa Rios via DQ after Lita hit with a moonsault. After the bell, the champion had some harsh words for his female counterpart. [wwf.com]

The Light Heavyweight Title was on the line as Christian, accompanied by Edge, challenged Essa Rios, with Lita. Terri came down to ringside just before the match got underway. When Terri distracted the referee, Lita executed a moonsault on Christian. When she got up, Edge was there and he delivered a spear. The referee turned around and saw Edge, and called for the disqualification. Christian seemed to be angry with his brother for costing him the Light Heavyweight Championship, and the brothers exchanged words after the match.  [wwf.com]

Coming to the ring with Lita, Essa Rios proved once again that he's a fighting champion as he defended the Light Heavyweight Title against Dean Malenko. Eddy Guerrero, who accompanied Malenko to ringside, jump up on the apron, but was quickly knocked off with a Rios forearm. Lita tried to follow up with a hurricanrana, but Guerrero caught her and powerbombed her on the floor! In the ring, Malenko tied Rios in a pinning predicament and got the three count to become the new Light Heavyweight Champion! [wwf.com]

Lita took a hard fall during the 3/13 Monday night edition of Raw when she was power bombed by Eddy Guerrero. She had jumped onto the shoulder of Guerrero who power bombed her onto the floor.  Dave Meltzer reports that she has told others that she is suffering from headaches since the power bomb and fears are that it could be a concussion. Dave Scherer is reporting as well that she may have injured her shoulder.

Lita is going to become a big part of the World Wrestling Federation’s women division. She is scheduled to fight for the WWF Women’s Title the next few weeks at house shows. The WWF is testing her to see the sort of crowd reaction she will get. This is a Test-Run so to speak. Obviously if she gets good pop’s at the upcoming house shows she will be moved into the foggy picture of the women’s division. If the fans are not cheering or booing appropriately like the WWF wants them to she will not be moved into the division as fast as they would like. Lita is arguably the hottest Woman in the WWF along with Trish Stratus. That is why the WWF is trying to get the sexy diva more television time and she could get a jump start to the women’s division. The Women's Championship was on the line as Lita challenged Jacqueline. Lita put up quite a fight, but Jacqueline reversed a pinning combination into one of her own, and retained the title. Well this was a bad idea - Stevie Richards and Essa against The Acolytes??  They never stood a chance against their much bigger opponents.  Fortunately Lita was smart enough to even try and interfere in the match.

Essa took on Taka Michinoku.  After Essa applied his signature huracanrana, Lita started up the stairs to provide Taka with her own.  Funaki caught her before she could step on the apron and he pushed her on top of the barricade.  Taking advantage of the distracted ref Funaki attacked Essa only to be thrown out of the ring, but this gave Taka the ability to place the Machinoku driver on Essa for the win.

04/17/00 Monday Night Raw
In tag team action, the Hardys battled Essa Rios and Eddie Guerrero.  Although lacking the experience of the Hardys, Essa and Eddie worked well together. However, it was Jeff and Matt who gained the victory after Lita's interference turned bad. After the match, Chyna and Guerrero beat on Essa. [wwf.com]

Chyna gave Essa Rios a second chance to team with Eddie Guerrero, this time against the Dudley Boyz, before warning Lita not to screw up like she did on RAW (Guerrero was in a good mood after passing his GED test). The Dudleys went for 3-D but Guerrero pulled Buh Buh Ray out of the ring. Moments later, Lita attempted a swan dive on Buh Buh Ray but hit Guerrero instead! Rios then became a victim of 3-D to earn D-Von and Buh Buh Ray the win. Chyna made Lita pay after the match, throwing her to the Dudleys who put the vixen through a table! The non-title match between Eddie Guerrero and Val Venus ended when Lita and Essa Rios came down to the ring to get a piece of Chyna. Lita jumped off the top rope and floored Chyna, who was standing outside the ring, with a cross body-block. In the ring, Val finished off Eddy with a spinebuster and the Money Shot. After the match, Lita and Essa stomped away on Eddie, who will meet Rios for the European Title this Sunday at Backlash, until Chyna made the save. [wwf.com]

Eddie Guerrero and Chyna took on Val Venis and Essa Rios. The action went back and forth until Rios took advantage of a referee’s missed tag to finish off Guerrero with a moonsault. For good measure, Lita added one of her own. [wwf.com]

04/30/00 Backlash PPV
Well it seems that Lita decided to take the feud to a whole new level.

Eddie and 'mamacita' Chyna arrived at the arena just in the nick of time after Eddie's prom in a restored black '57 Chevy.  The ref informed the couple that Eddie's match was next and if he didn't get into the ring immediately he would forfeit the match.  Eddie decided to drive the car right up to ringside and make a quick change, opening the trunk and getting into his wrestling attire with mamacita's help.

The match was intense with plenty of high flying moves from both competitors.  At one point Chyna was able to deck Essa while Lita inadvertantly had the ref distracted.  This incensed Lita who tried to jump on Eddie from the top rope, only to have Chyna push her off the rope and to hit the Spanish announcers table with her face.  With Lita pretty much out of it on the arena floor both men continued their battle in and out of the ring.  When Essa went to the top rope Chyna pulled on his leg which caused him to fall, straddling the turnbuckle and in great pain.  Somehow Essa found the strength to carry on the match and eventually was ready to put the final moves on Eddie - the moonsault.  Eddie put his knees up, striking Essa right in the stomach.  Eddie picked his opponent up and put an airplane spin and a neckbreaker on Essa for the win.

Chyna entered the ring to celebrate the win with Eddie only to have Essa plant a drop kick on Eddie, knocking mamacita and her companion down.  A revived Lita entered the ring and proceeded to tear a defenseless Chyna's gown off, leaving her in just her bra and panties in the middle of the ring.  Chyna was horrified while Eddie was clearly enjoying the view.  Finally Chyna took the whole thing good naturedly and posed for the audience.  Even though the mamacita seemed to eventually be comfortable in front of the audience in her undies I certainly feel sorry for Lita when Chyna gets her hands on her.  For Pics - Click Here.

In another return match from Backlash, Essa Rios, with Lita, challenged Eddie Guerrero, accompanied by Chyna. Lita was wearing the prom dress that she had ripped off Chyna at the Pay-Per-View. Guerrero was able to successfully defend his title once again by planting Rios with a modified airplane spin into a neckbreaker. Eddie Guerrero and Chyna continued their feud with Essa Rios and Lita, who was a bit apprehensive about having to face the Ninth Wonder of the World. Lita, though, did get a few kicks in – when Chyna was off her feet. After breathtaking action between Rios and the European Champion, Lita’s attempt at a flying bodypress was refuted by a Chyna powerbomb. Before the match Essa was showing considerable interest in the Godfather's Ho's while Lita was obviously fuming about his actions. [OWOW]

The WWF's resident pimp the Godfather teamed up with Essa Rios to take on the team of Perry Saturn and Dean Malenko. Prior to the match, Godfather offered Malenko two hos. Malenko obliged and left with the nice young ladies, leaving Saturn by himself to fight Godfather and Essa. It looked as though the two-on-one advantage was going to be too much for Saturn. However, a jealous Lita knocked Essa off of the top rope. Saturn took advantage of the move and quickly pinned Essa after a suplex. [wwf.com]

Matt Hardy battled Essa Rios, but Rios’ real problems were with Lita after she caught him hanging out with the Godfather’s Ho's on RAW. Those problems looked to be forgotten before the match, when Lita accompanied Rios to the ring as usual. Rios and Hardy took to the air, taking incredible risks. The tone of the match changed when Rios first used Lita as a shield, then threw her into a Hardy right hand. After Hardy barely escaped a Rios moonsault, his backdrop sent Rios flying right into Lita, who was standing on the apron. The two collided head-to-head, and Hardy hit the stunned Rios with the Twist of Fate to earn the win. Rios attacked Lita after the match, powerbombing her and hitting a moonsault splash. According to sources, the reason why Lita left Essa Rios is because the WWF had nowhere to go with her being paired with him. Knowing that Lita is quite talented the WWF thought that she would fit in better with the well established tag team-the Hardy Boyz. The Hardy Boyz also happen to be Lita's real life friend. T&A, with Trish Stratus, took on the Hardy Boyz. The Boyz seemed set to win, but as Jeff began to climb the ropes to execute the Swanton Bomb, Trish grabbed his leg, causing him to trip and hit his head on the ring steps. After an Avalanche by Albert and a kick by Test, Matt Hardy suffered the loss for his team. After the match, Trish entered the ring and slapped both Hardys, which brought out Lita. Lita was abused by T&A, until the Hardys cleaned house, allowing Lita to climb to the second rope and deliver a legdrop onto Trish!   [wwf.com]

Lita's feud with Stephanie McMahon will be used to give her a lot more TV exposure. The feeling was that she did not receive anywhere near the amount of necessary TV time while being paired with Essa Rios considering the fact that she is one of the WWF's most talented women. Trish Stratus made her ring debut in the first match of the night, as the sultry diva teamed with T&A to take on Lita and the Hardy Boyz in six-person tag-team action. The Hardys were on fire, and Jeff even nailed a Swanton Bomb onto both Test and Trish! The Hardy Boyz and Lita vs. T&A - 6 person tag team match.  The rules stipulated that the team that had one remember remaining would be the winner.  Albert was the first person eliminated and then Trish and Lita squared off!  It didn't take Lita long to eliminate Trish, leaving Test as the only remaining member of their team.  Jeff Hardy was eliminated next by Test before Lita and Matt began double teaming the single survivor. Test pinned Matt next and then went after Lita.  Lita put up a valiant fight but finally succumbed to a boot to the face, giving Test the win.

07/03/00 Monday Night Raw
Jeff Hardy, accompanied by Lita, took on Val Venis, accompanied by Trish Stratus. Jeff hit the Swanton Bomb, but Trish distracted the ref. Lita then pulled Trish off the apron, and when the ref went over to attend to the ladies, Tazz appeared out of nowhere to attack Jeff! Val then hit the Money Shot splash for the win!  [wwf.com]

The war between Lita and Trish got a lot warmer on Heat.  During the tag team match between the Hardy Boyz and and Too Cool, Lita was watching at ringside with her back to the ramp. Trish came stalking down the ramp, grabbed Lita from behind, and threw her to the floor.  Grabbing her sweater off her shoulders, she began choking Lita with the garment, eventually dragging her up the ramp until help arrived.

07/10/00 Monday Night Raw
In a Tag Team Elimination match, Too Cool battled T&A and the Hardy Boyz.  The brawling began in the ring immediately as Lita chased Trish Stratus around the outside. Finally, Matt Hardy hit Test with a Twist of Fate. But while the referee was distracted, Albert powerbombed Matt and laid Test on him to eliminate the Hardys. Then, Lita attacked Trish again! Scotty Too Hotty took advantage of the distraction and attempted to do the Worm on Test, but Tazz ran out and put a chokehold on Scotty. After Scotty fell victim, Test made the cover and got the win!  [wwf.com]

In the streetfight match pitting Lita against Trish, Lita beat the stuffing's out of her opponent before embarassing her by pulling her vest off. This obviously left Trish stripped down to her panties and bra!  Just as Lita signaled to the audience that she wanted to strip more off the ample chest of Trish, the match was interrupted by Steven Richards running to the ring to cover up Trish!  A very unpopular Steven said that people didn't know what they wanted to see, so he was censoring the match and declaring it over!    For Pics - Click Here.

07/13/00 Thursday Smackdown
Too Cool and Rikishi took on T&A and Intercontinental Champion Val Venis in six-man tag team action as SmackDown! kicked off from the Arena in Oakland, Calif. During the match, Lita came down to attack Trish. As T&A came to help their sultry manager, the Hardy Boyz came to ringside to take T&A out of the match. That left Val easy prey for a sit-down splash and a pinfall at the hands (and butt) of Rikishi. The Hardys soon chased off T&A, and Too Cool, the Hardys, Rikishi and Lita all danced in celebration!

Backstage, Road Dogg said something to Lita which caused her to slap him. The Hardys then attacked DX, leading to a match. The Hardys seemed poised to win after a Twist of Fate and a Swanton Bomb on X-Pac, but Road Dogg broke up the pinfall. Trish then came down with T&A to attack Lita, distracting the ref and allowing Road Dogg to push Jeff Hardy off the top rope into an X-Factor! DX then

The Hardy Boyz took on the Dudley Boyz in the opening match. With the Hardys down, the Dudleys went to get some "wood" -- but as soon as they took out their table, Steven Richards came to the ring to take it away! That allowed Jeff Hardy enough time to recover, grab a ladder and deliver a scintillating dive to the Dudleys on the outside!

The match would end in a disqualification when Trish Stratus and T&A interfered.  But the fireworks were only beginning. Trish and Lita battled into the ring, where Test and Albert set up a table and a ladder. After battling atop the ladder, Trish pushed Lita off the ladder 10 feet in the air through a table! T&A and Val Venis took on the Hardy Boyz and Rikishi in six-man action. Test had Matt Hardy down, but Jeff executed a breath-taking Swanton Bomb onto Test and Matt scored the pinfall. After the match, T&A abused the Hardys. Lita came down to try and help Matt and Jeff, but she was knocked out by T&A, and Trish whipped her bruises from Monday’s RAW with a belt.  [wwf.com]

Lita will be getting a well deserved push. She has impressed many WWF officials and is a very hard working wrestler, training to become more well rounded. Look for her to capture the Women's title. Also on a small tidbit, she is actually Matt Hardy's real life girlfriend. [Kyle Brooks]

There have been tons of rumors circulating that Lita did in fact get injured on RAW is WAR from Trish Stratus' push off of a ladder, onto a table. Once again, all of this "talk" is just rumors. Lita was not injured at all during that table shot and it was planned and organized correctly for her to fall the right way. [Mark Peters]

Trish and Lita are in line for major pushes now. WWF officials are impressed with Lita's in ring skills and are impressed with Stratus for her willingness to take bumps and to get into the action. [Eric DeRegt]

07/23/00 Fully Loaded PPV - Intergender Six-Person Tag: Hardy Boyz & Lita defeated T&A & Trish Stratus
In the opening match of the evening, it was power (and Trish) against quickness in this unusual six-person tag team match. Throughout the match, Trish did everything she could to avoid stepping in the ring with Lita. Meanwhile, the Hardys used their speed to roll up Test and Albert into several near falls, while Test and Albert practically decapitated Matt and Jeff with power maneuvers. Lita did end up in the ring -- against Test, and she executed a tornado DDT, jumped off the top rope and splashed Albert (who was standing outside the ring) and then a hit Test with a huricanrana off the top. Finally, Test dropped Lita with a powerslam, and then Trish suddenly worked up the courage to tag in. With Lita on the defensive, Trish put a beating on her. But Lita recovered and delivered a superplex on Trish, to the delight of the Dallas crowd. Lita went for the pin, but Albert made the save. The Hardys and T&A ended up battling outside the ring, and Lita finished off Trish with a moonsault off the top rope. After the match, T&A put a beating on the Hardys, and Trish grabbed a leather belt and whipped Lita repeatedly.  [wwf.com]

07/24/00 Monday Night Raw
Backstage, Triple H arrived, and Stephanie brought him up to speed on all the events that led to Foley's booking of the "brother/sister" match. As if that didn't anger Triple H enough, there were several bouquets of flowers on the table, just as there had been at Fully Loaded. Stephanie told her husband to read the card, but Triple H said he didn't need to read any card to realize he was being set up, and he tossed the flowers against the walls in disgust. A shocked Stephanie said she had purchased the flowers for him!

Stephanie didn't have much time to react, as the "brother/sister" match was up next. Lita came out as the first of the McMahon siblings' opponents. Shane grabbed the microphone and said he would protect his baby sister at all costs -- no matter who the other opponent was. It turned out to be the Big Show! The Show returned two months after Shane had put him out of action; Shane was completely astonished, and he sprinted back to the locker room. The Show chased after him, leaving Stephanie alone with Lita. Stephanie took quite a beating, and Lita had her set up for a moonsault. But Trish Stratus came out, knocked Lita off the top rope, and whipped her repeatedly with a belt. Stephanie got in a few kicks for good measure, and the two women walked off together.

After being assaulted from behind by Trish Stratus, Lita asked Commissioner Foley for a match with her, and Foley agreed. So the two ladies met in an Indian Strap Match. Lita whipped Trish relentlessly, stripped off her shirt, gave her a Twist of Fate and then a moonsault off the top rope. But the referee had been inadvertently knocked out, and Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley came out with her Women's Championship. Lita at first spotted her, but when she was distracted by Trish, Stephanie nailed Lita with the belt, knocking her unconscious. Trish was able to win the match.  [wwf.com]

The match-up pitting Y2J & Lita against Benoit & Trish was a fast-paced, high-flying affair, with Lita taking to the skies on more than one occasion. In the end, Jericho pinned Benoit after a Lionsault.   [wwf.com]

08/03/00 Thursday Smackdown
Commissioner Foley had a big smile on his face as Triple H and Stephanie entered his office. Foley said he was fining Stephanie for walking out on her match on RAW, and that if she did it again, she would be stripped of her Women’s Championship. Kurt Angle then entered the commissioner’s office, and Foley revealed that Angle, Triple H and Stephanie would be tag team partners later in the night against the Dudley Boyz and Lita in a no-disqualification match!

The main event of SmackDown! was the six-person, no-DQ match with the Dudleys and Lita taking on Triple H, Stephanie and Kurt Angle. Things were tense from the get-go, as Stephanie walked in front of Triple H instead of next to him, and seemed to be ignoring him. As the match went on, the tensions built. At one point, Buh Buh Ray got “that look in his eye,” and grabbed Stephanie, but Triple H saved her. With the men brawling on the outside, Lita grabbed Stephanie and readied to deliver a moonsault, but Triple H saved his wife and gave Lita the Pedigree, putting Stephanie on top of her. But Buh Buh grabbed Stephanie again, and this time, Kurt saved her. Stephanie then pinned Lita for the win as Triple H battled D-Von on top of the ramp. After the Game fought off D-Von, he looked towards the ring in shock – Stephanie and Kurt Angle were hugging and embracing in celebration!  [wwf.com]

There is some talk being given to a 3-way women's title match at Summerslam, with Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley defending against Lita and Trish Stratus. [Brandon Newman]

The Lita/ Trish/ Stephanie feud did not advance mainly because of concentration on other angles. Look for Lita to issue a challenge to Trish Stratus on Raw is War next week, or possibly on Smackdown. Trish and Lita have been rumored to go at it on August 27th, at Summerslam. [Jason Hamil]

Right to Censor, led by Steven Richards, came out and told the crowd that other groups like his knew what was best for children, especially if parents didn't know what was best. Steven challenged the Hardy Boyz and Lita, saying that the Boyz were too dangerous and Lita was too sexy! The Hardys took it to Right To Censor, using their speed and quickness to their advantage. But the brute strength of Bull Buchanan and the Goodfather started to wear Matt and Jeff down. Lita tagged in, however, and nailed both the Goodfather and Bull! Then, Steven attacked her and threw her in the ring, leaving Lita as an easy target for the Goodfather to pick up the win!   [wwf.com]

In a battle for the Women's Championship, Stephanie faced Lita, with The Rock as special guest referee! Stephanie was accompanied to the ring by both Triple H and Kurt Angle, but The Rock told them both to get out of the ring. Lita immediately took it to Women's Champ Stephanie! Then, the Hardy Boyz came out to support Lita (and keep Angle and Triple H away). Stephanie impressively showcased several moves she must have recently learned and brought it right back to Lita! Both women got several near-falls. As Lita went for a moonsault, Angle knocked her off the turnbuckle! Angle then went to hand Steph the title to hit Lita with, but The Rock pulled him in the ring. Angle went to hit Rock, but knocked out Triple H instead! Then, the Great One hit Angle and Stephanie with a Rock Bottom! He told Lita to get Stephanie, so she nailed her with a moonsault and got the pin to become the new Women's Champion!  [wwf.com]

08/25/00 Internet Rumors
Now that Lita is the World Wrestling Federation's Women Champion, look for the Division to be re-launched with frequent title defenses. Trish, Stephanie, Kat, Terri, Ivory, and Jacky will all participate in the division. Look for Mona to be introduced into the federation sometime after Summerslam, posing what may be the most serious threat to Lita's Women's Title. Look for these two to have a great feud. It may go as far as Mona being a valet for Edge and Christian, but this is not confirmed. [Jason Hamil]

Lita did not see any action other than to come out and try to aid the Hardy's in their Tables, Ladders and Chairs Match (Oh My!).  She was quickly taken out by Edge who made a running tackle on the slim lady, knocking her almost unconscious to the floor.  Christian and Edge went on to win the match and retain their tag team titles.

08/28/00 Monday Night Raw
Women's Champion Lita made her first title defense, taking on Jacqueline. Lita soon nailed Jackie with the Twist of Fate, and following a moonsault, Lita had her first successful title defense! But as Lita walked back to the dressing room, she was met by Edge & Christian. As Lita backtracked, Jackie grabbed her and pulled her into the ring. The Hardys then ran to the ring to attack Edge & Christian, and in the melee, Edge again speared Lita (after injuring her ribs with a spear at SummerSlam).  [wwf.com]

Edge & Christian then hit the ring, saying they had nothing to do with Stone Cold’s assault last November. They called the incident "heinosity to the max," and said that if they had a time machine, then they would go back in time and stop the incident from taking place. Then they revealed that they do have a time machine; in fact, they had recently traveled to the future to bring back the Hardyz Boyz and Lita, circa 2050. Out came two old men and an old woman dressed in the Hardy Boyz and Lita’s outfits! Edge was then about to spear all three when Commissioner Foley came out, and said that Edge & Christian’s match against the Hardys at Unforgiven would be held within the confines of a 15-foot steel cage! Prior to her Women’s Championship match against Jacqueline, Lita introduced the new Tag Team Champions – the Hardy Boyz! Little did she know that Jackie would come to the ring accompanied by the Hardys’ archrivals, Edge & Christian! As Michael Cole interviewed Lita on her upcoming match with her Women's Title on the line against Ivory, Jackie attacked her! Both women fought brutally, with the battle leading up to Lita throwing Jackie off an 18-wheeler! The October 5 episode of SmackDown! opened with six-person tag team action, as Jacqueline and Lo Down took on Lita and the Hardy Boyz. The Women’s Champion and Tag Team Champions whipped the Baltimore crowd into a frenzy with their high-flying moves. It seemed that they would pick up the win after Lita hit Jackie with a moonsault, but D’Lo snuck into the ring and nailed Lita with a Sky Hi, allowing Jackie to score the pin. [wwf.com]

WWF officials have a lot of plans for Jacqueline in the near future. This feud, right now, with Lita is just the beginning of a major push for Jackie and may lead up to a match with Lita at No Mercy. This will not be the only match between the two women as officials want them to get experience with each other in the ring. Expect matches between the two, whether it be mixed tag matches or single matches, to No Mercy where a match at No Mercy will most likely take place. [Mark Peters]

10/09/00 Monday Night Raw
The first match of the night pitted Lita against Jacqueline in a Hardcore match for the Women's Championship. Jackie headed to the ring with a shopping cart full of hardcore weapons. The two women tore into each other, and made use of all the weapons at ringside. Jacqueline broke a broom over Lita's back, hit her right in the face with a hair dryer, and tried to finish her off with a fire extinguisher from under the ring.  Unfortunately Jacqueline couldn't pull the pin, allowing Lita to counter with a low blow.  While Jackie recovered Lita grabbed a ladder from under the ring and set it up in the corner.  Jacqueline grabbed Lita and placed a deadly DDT on her, driving her head into a cookie sheet and going for the cover.

Lita kicked out on the two count.  After throwing each other off the ladder Lita sprayed Jackie directly in the face with the fire extinguisher. While a blinded Jacqueline swung wildly at her unseen opponent Lita smacked her in the head with the cookie sheet and pinned her for the win. [wwf.com, OWOW]

10/16/00 Monday Night Raw
The three-way tag team main event was action-packed. The Rock came out with his fists flying, nailing Edge and Christian and begging Kurt Angle to get into the ring. Angle got the tag and pummeled The Rock, as Triple H watch on from his locker room. As The Rock continued to be held back from making the tag, Edge came in and mocked the Hardys! The Rock was finally able to make the tag, and Matt Hardy entered the fracas and took out both Edge and Christian, even nearly pinning Edge! Again, Angle got the tag and had several near-falls on the isolated Matt Hardy. After recovering from some severe blows, Matt was able to tag in The Rock! The Rock was a house on fire, and had Angle pinned, but the referee was distracted by the Hardys and Lita fighting Edge and Christian on the outside of the ring. When the ref turned around to make the count, Stephanie pulled The Rock's leg, ending the count. Then, Jeff Hardy went to hit Angle with a Swanton Bomb, but Stephanie hit him in the knee before he could! Lita saw what she did, but Stephanie took the Women's Champions and slammed her into the ring stairs!

When all was said and done, Kurt Angle pinned The Rock for the win, with a lot of help from his partner Stephanie! The two celebrated as RAW went off the air! [wwf.com]

Prior to her Women’s Championship match against Lita, Trish Stratus did some reading out of a dictionary. First, she read the definition of “champion,” which were qualities she said she possessed. Then she read the definition of “Lita,” which she said was someone who shows disgusting tattoos, someone who wears her pants too low and someone who is a low-class cheap bimbo! That did nothing but fire up the Women’s Champion, who took it right to Stratus! But the match wouldn’t last long, as Trish’s team of T&A interfered in the match-up. The match never got underway. As the Acolytes made their way to the ring, they were brutally attacked by T&A, leaving Lita alone in the ring. As she went back to check on her partners, she was headed off by T&A, and then attacked from behind by Trish. The Hardy Boyz arrived to even the odds, and T&A and Trish retreated to the locker room. 10/23/00 Monday Night Raw - Bra And Panties Championship Match
Putting her belt on the line for the third time this month and the fourth time within 30 days, Lita defended her WWF Women’s Championship against Trish Stratus in a bra and panties match. As expected, the match was a huge success with fans in attendance. In the end, it was Lita stripping Trish of both her top and bottoms to get the win. After the match, Right To Censor told the fans that they should be ashamed for cheering such a thing. Steven Richards told Lita and Trish that they should be ashamed, as well. Steven then introduced the newest member of Right To Censor, a member all women can look up to… Ivory. Ivory proceeded to tell both Trish and Lita how shameful they were by showing their bodies and how degrading it was for them to wrestle in a bra and panties match. In six-man tag team action, T&A and Trish Stratus took on Lita and the Hardy Boyz. The action in the ring was fast and brutal. The Hardy Boyz really took it to Test and Albert with their high-risk moves, and when Trish and Lita tagged in, Trish ran away! Eventually, the two women made it back into the ring and tagged out. Test and Albert then started hammering Jeff and Matt. Just as Albert was about to get the pin, Crash came out and hit him in the back with a trash can lid, allowing Matt to get the pin! [wwf.com]

In six-person tag team action, Ivory teamed with the Goodfather and Bull Buchanan of the Right to Censor against the Hardy Boyz and Lita. Prior to the match, Ivory pointed out the incredible reponsibility Federation Superstars have to their viewers. She said that the Hardys and Lita were terrible role models, and their actions would be censored. Lita took down Ivory with a spear, and then Lita and the Hardys delivered a multiple DDT on the Right to Censor! Jeff Hardy soon hit a Swanton Bomb on Lita, but Steven Richards hit a superkick on Jeff, and Ivory pinned Jeff Hardy for the win! [wwf.com]

Debra was talking to Women's Champion Lita in her office when Ivory entered, saying she wanted a title shot, so the Women's Champion would be someone respectable. Ivory scolded Debra for showing off the "puppies!" Trish Stratus and Jacqueline would soon enter into the fray. Debra made a Four Corners Match for the Women's Championship, and further stated that T&A, the Hardy Boyz and the Right to Censor would not be allowed to interfere in the contest! Debra said that she was doing things "Debra style!"

Lita then put her Women's Championship on the line against Ivory, Jacqueline and Trish Stratus in a Four Corners Match. Lita seemed to have the match won after a moonsault on Ivory, but Edge & Christian attacked her when the referee wasn't looking. In a Tag Team Title matchup, Bull Buchanan and the Goodfather took on the Hardy Boyz. New Women's Champion Ivory joined her partners at ringside, as did Lita. Before the match began in the ring, Lita attacked Ivory, which forced the referee to make Ivory return to the back. The match began with the Goodfather and Bull handing it to the Hardyz. Jeff Hardy recovered and took down Bull for the pin, but the referee had been knocked out of the ring.

Edge and Christian then ran out to the ring and knocked out Matt and Jeff, allowing Bull to get the cover and win the Tag Team Titles for Right To Censor!  [wwf.com]

Edge & Christian took on the Hardy Boyz, in a match made by Commissioner Foley after Edge & Christian cost the Hardyz their Tag Team Championship on RAW. The Hardyz picked up the win after Lita gave Edge a hurricanrana outside the ring, and Christian suffered the Twist of Fate and a Swanton Bomb.  [wwf.com]

11/13/00 Monday Night Raw
In a six-person tag team match-up, Bull Buchanan and the Goodfather put their Tag Team Titles on the line and Ivory put her Women's Title on the line against the Hardy Boyz and Lita. If either Hardy pinned one of the current champions, they won the Tag Title. If Lita pinned Ivory, she would be the Women's Champion. The Goodfather, Bull and Ivory took it to Team Xtreme, until Lita was able to hit a moonsault on Ivory.

It appeared Lita would get the win, but the Goodfather interfered! The Hardy Boyz had many near-falls, but interference by a member of the Right to Censor would break up the count! Eventually, the Goodfather got his team disqualified by hitting Jeff Hardy with his title. After all was said and done, the Right to Censor retained their titles, while continuing to beat on the Hardyz and Lita after the match had ended.  [wwf.com]

11/17/00 Internet Rumors
Contrary to other reports out there, Lita is not expected to regain the Women's Title in the near future. The reason being, the WWF wants the title to mean something, it wouldn't be any good for anybody if one person dominated the division, and always held the title. For example, look at Dean Malenko. Look for Ivory to hang onto the title for a while, and when she finally does drop it, it is just about confirmed to go to Molly Holly. [Jason Hamil]

At Survivor Series as Ivory defends against Lita. It's being speculated that the WWF will keep this title on Ivory for the foreseeable future as they have been very pleased with the impact she has made on the Women's division since winning the title two weeks ago. It's possible Ivory will retain against Lita at next Sunday's PPV, but contrary to this there is news that the WWF are planning a series of quick title changes between these two divas, on a short-term basis. The WWF feel that this feud is a good way to open the newly renovated Women's division again, and will be looking to restore the fans' interest by having the title switch frequently between these two stars. This is still tentative, but it's looking likely we may see Lita win back her title at Survivor Series. On a side note, it's being said that the WWF are planning Molly Holly to become the next Women's champion, although this is unconfirmed. [Dustin H.]

11/19/00 Survivor Series PPV - Federation Women's Championship: Ivory def. Lita
After a right hand by Ivory in the early going, Lita was busted open from the right side of her face and counted to bleed badly throughout the match. Steven Richards came out and interfered on Ivory's behalf. But when Richards and Ivory consulted outside the ring, Lita bodyblocked both of them off the top rope! Back in the ring, Lita went for a moonsault, but Richards dragged Ivory out of the ring. As the referee yelled at Richards, Ivory grabbed the Women's Title, but Lita ducked, dropped Ivory with a suplex and went for another moonsault. This time, Ivory used her legs and the Women's Title to bash Lita, and then quickly covered her for the three count. [wwf.com]

After Sunday night's injury, Lita has received a few stitches in her head. She was on the receiving end of an Ivory punch which gave her a pretty nasty cut on her head. Lita was rumored to take back the Women's Title at Armageddon, however, it is unknown as to whether or not the WWF will proceed with those plans. Lita will be kept out of the ring for a couple of weeks, however, she is not expected to miss any television time. [Jason Hamil]

Accompanied by Terri, Perry Saturn and Dean Malenko took on the Hardy Boyz, along with Lita. Matt was able to hit the Twist of Fate on Malenko, and Jeff then hit the Swanton Bomb. But as Terry distracted the ref, Saturn came off the top with a devastating flying elbow, earning the win for the Radicalz as Malenko pinned Matt Hardy. [wwf.com]

Dean Malenko was hitting on Lita backstage, but she didn't seem all that interested. Lita told Dean off, and then Chris Benoit knocked her out with a door. As the Hardys checked on Lita, all four Radicalz beat on the brothers from North Carolina.   [wwf.com]

The opening match on SmackDown! was a six-person tag match pitting the Hardy Boyz and Lita against Dean Malenko, Eddie Guerrero and Perry Saturn of the Radicalz. Throughout the match, Malenko made advances towards Lita, who had rejected his come-ons on RAW. Eventually, Lita hit a moonsault on Malenko, but Terri distracted the referee, allowing Guerrero to nail a frogsplash on the former Women's Champion. Eddie then rolled the unconscious Malenko on top of Lita for the win. After Malenko came to, he looked more concerned with Lita's well-being than with his team's victory.  [wwf.com]

12/04/00 Monday Night Raw
Bull Buchanan and the Goodfather put their Tag Team Title on the line against the Hardy Boyz. Before the match began, the referee told Ivory to return to the locker room, but he allowed Lita to stay at ringside. The two teams battled intensely as Dean Malenko, apparently watching Lita, looked on from the back.

As it appeared the Hardyz had the match won, the Dudley Boyz, wearing white shirts and black ties, walked down the entranceway! As the Dudleyz distracted the ref, Bull nailed Jeff Hardy with his scissors kick and picked up the win. After the match, Bull and Goodfather looked at the Dudley Boyz and appeared to be very confused.

As the Hardyz sat in their locker room questioning the Dudley Boyz motives, Dean Malenko walked in with flowers for Lita. Dean said that given the right chance, she might like him. Lita said she'd think about it, and as she turned, she said she had thought about it, and then Lita slammed the flowers over Malenko's head!

Dean Malenko, persistent as ever, went to Lita's locker room with a proposition for her. He would give her a shot at his Light Heavyweight Title. If she won, he would leave her alone, but if he won, she would have to go on a date with him on Thursday! Lita happily agreed to the match.

In the match made earlier on RAW, Dean Malenko put his Light Heavyweight Title on the line against Lita. Malenko showed no affection for Lita during the match, and kept pummeling her throughout the match. Lita finally had to tap out after Malenko locked on the Texas Cloverleaf. After getting the win, Malenko tried to get friendly with Lita, who just slapped Dean and walked away.  [wwf.com]

Backstage, Dean Malenko was shown holding a big bouquet of roses in preparation for his date with Lita. After giving the roses to the former Women's Champion, Malenko promised Lita a night she wouldn't forget. Lita told Dean that it would definitely be a night he wouldn’t forget.

Dean Malenko and Lita were at the restaurant on their date when Dean said that Lita should stop denying the chemistry between them. Lita agreed, and said she wanted to be with Dean! Caught off guard, Dean quickly asked the waiter for the check!

In a hotel room, Lita approached Dean Malenko wearing a negligee! She said she had just one thing to ask Dean -- how did his wife feel about him being a sneaky two-timing bastard? Dean said to forget about his wife, because he was all about her that night. Lita then turned off the lights -- and when she turned them back on, Matt Hardy was standing there with a champagne bottle! Matt slammed the bottle over Malenko's head as Lita laughed! 12/10/00 Armageddon PPV
The story heading into the elimination match was Lita and the Hardyz' humiliation of Malenko on SmackDown! This elimination match pitted Lita and the Hardy Boyz against Radical members Perry Saturn, Dean Malenko and Eddie Guerrero. Moments into the match, Lita hit the Twist of Fate on Eddie Guerrero, and Jeff Hardy hit the Swanton Bomb. Three seconds later, Latino Heat was eliminated.

Soon after that, Perry Saturn caught Jeff Hardy as Jeff tried for the Poetry in Motion. After slamming him down, Jeff was pinned and eliminated. Matt then hit the Twist of Fate on Saturn and eliminated him.

As Lita got into it with Terri in the ring, Malenko snuck up behind Matt Hardy and knocked him into Lita. As Lita flew from the ring, Malenko rolled up Matt Hardy for the pin. It was now down to Lita and Malenko. Dean had Lita down for the count after a superplex, but Malenko wanted to torture the woman who humiliated him on SmackDown! Finally, he put Lita in the Texas Cloverleaf and won the match. After the match, Lita swore to Michael Cole that she could beat Malenko.  [wwf.com]

In the first match of the evening, Dean Malenko and Perry Saturn took on the Hardy Boyz. Jeff Hardy hit the Swanton Bomb on Saturn, but the referee was too busy attending to melee between Lita and Terri. Jeff went outside the ring to stop the commotion, but he was knocked into the ringsteps. He was counted out, but after the match, Malenko went over to Lita -- who was also knocked out in the brawl -- and planted a big kiss on her lips!  [wwf.com]

Lita soon went outside the ring and attacked him. At Wednesday night's UPW show, The Hardy Boyz were scheduled to fight the Ballard Brothers for the UPW Tag Team Titles, but Lita and an unknown woman joined the fray to make it a 6-person match. Backstage at the arena, Lita went into her locker room to find Dean Malenko sitting there! Dean told Lita how much he enjoyed her lingerie show at WWF New York on Monday's RAW, and Lita said it was just for him! Dean then showed Lita the mistletoe hanging above her head! Lita told Dean to close his eyes, but Dean said he wouldn't fall for it. So Lita just punched him in the face!

Backstage, Lita assured the Hardy Boyz that the situation with Dean Malenko was under control. She said she had him exactly where she wanted him, and that she had to beat him. Matt said that he would take care of Dean for her, but Lita said she wanted to take care of him herself. After she left, Matt yelled at Jeff for saying Lita should take on Dean. Matt said that he would take care of Dean that night, since he cared about Lita.

Accompanied to the ring by Perry Saturn and Terri, Dean Malenko took on Matt Hardy, who was seconded by Jeff and Lita. It didn't seem that Matt even wanted to win the match -- he just wanted to punish Malenko. Matt even locked Malenko in his own Texas Cloverleaf, and Dean was about to tap out, until the other Radicalz interfered to break it up. As a fight started outside the ring, Malenko rolled up Matt Hardy, and pinned him with his feet on the ropes for leverage. [wwf.com]

The first match on RAW pitted the Hardy Boyz against Chris Benoit and Dean Malenko of the Radicalz. Before the match, Matt and Jeff Hardy begged Lita to stay backstage, because she could be in danger if she came to ringside -- but the former Women's Champion insisted on accompanying her friends to the ring. Lita soon involved herself in the match, nailing Malenko with a low blow, allowing Matt Hardy to score a top-rope legdrop and a pinfall on the Light Heavyweight Champion. After the match, Dean locked Matt Hardy in a Texas Cloverleaf, and when Lita went to Matt's aid, Benoit snuck up behind her and put her in the Crossface!  [wwf.com]

Lita has been having some back problems including a bulging disc. She will soon see a back specialist on Jan. 3 and her in-ring activity will be limited the next few weeks. [The Ross Report]

The WWF will be pushing the Matt Hardy/Lita angle. As you saw on Heat, Matt defended Lita by trying to take Dean Malenko. The WWF will be going with a "jealousy" type storyline. Matt and Lita have had a real life relationship outside of the ring, and the WWF wants to play off that.
