01/04/01 Thursday Smackdown
In an intergender tag team match, Matt Hardy and Lita took on Perry Saturn and Terri. Matt and Lita were accompanied at ringside by Jeff Hardy, while Perry and Terri had Dean Malenko in their corner. During the match, Lita had Terri down for the count, but Dean pulled Lita outside the ring and kissed her! Lita slapped the taste out of Malenko's mouth. Lita then hit a moonsault on Terri, but as Saturn distracted the ref, Malenko gave Lita a DDT and put Terri on top of Lita for the win!  [wwf.com]

Good news for Lita as the former WWF Women's champion received word that she will not require any back surgery. In his latest Ross Report, JR addresses the situation about Lita's back problem and writes that her condition is improving well and test and exams came in good. The Hardy Boyz and Lita brought the sold-out crowd at the Bradley Center to its feet as RAW kicked off! The extreme trio took on Ivory, Steven Richards and Val Venis of the Right to Censor. Soon Ivory and Lita were battling in the ring, when Chyna came down to ringside! As Ivory tried running from Lita, Chyna threw the Women's Champion back in the ring! A shocked Ivory couldn't believe what she was seeing -- and Lita took advantage, hitting the Twist of Fate for the 1-2-3!

After the match, Chyna accepted Ivory's challenge from Sunday Night HEAT -- and the Ninth Wonder of the World will face Ivory for the Women's Championship this Sunday at the Royal Rumble!  [wwf.com]

There are rumors floating around the internet of Lita accepting a deal to pose for Penthouse. That is just completely false. Lita has not and will most likely never pose for Penthouse. Lita herself denied the Penthouse rumors. Also, because of the strong relationship the WWF has with Playboy, if Lita chose to pose then it would be for Playboy. Secondly, So if you read any "news reports" of Lita accepting a Penthouse deal, it is nothing but a lie.

In April, Teen People magazine will be releasing exclusive photos of Lita and an in-depth interview with her in the magazine. So make sure you pick up a copy of the magazine in April. [Adrian Wilson]

01/29/01 Monday Night Raw
In triple-threat tag team action, the APA, Faarooq and Bradshaw took on the Hardy Boyz and the Goodfather and Bull Buchanan. The winner of the match would face the Dudley Boyz for the Tag Team Title on SmackDown! On the outside of the ring, Lita and Jacqueline brawled until Lita was taken to the back. The Hardy Boyz took the win after Jeff hit Bull with a Swanton Bomb and pinned him.

In a match set up by their earlier confrontation, Lita faced Jacqueline, and Dean Malenko watched on intentsely from WWF New York as Ivory joined King and J.R. on guest commentary. The match ended when both Lita and Jackie both attacked Ivory at the announce table! Ivory quickly ran away.  [wwf.com]

Lita then headed to the ring for a Triple Threat Match for the Women's Championship, pitting her against Jacqueline and Ivory. Lita hit the moonsault on Jackie, but Ivory snuck up behind Lita and threw her out of the ring, and then Ivory covered Jackie to retain her title!  [wwf.com]

On a quick reminder, Lita will be featured in an upcoming edition of "Teen People Magazine" which is to hit newsstands in April. She will be posing for a few pictures to be featured in the magazine as well as an in-depth interview with one of the WWF's sexiest diva's. [Matt Boone]

During RAW last Monday night during the Lita and Jackie match, Lita's eyebrow ring got ripped out while she was brawling with Ivory and Jackie on the outside of the ring. She was holding it as she went to the back, but seemed to be alright as she posed for the crowd while holding her eye. It's pretty likely she won't miss anytime as a result. [Matt Boone]

Matt Hardy challenged Chris Jericho for his Intercontinental Championship as Raw kicked off live from the Georgia Dome in Atlanta, Georgia! As the match was about to get underway, Dean Malenko came to the stage to check out Lita, who had accompanied Matt to the ring. The match between Jericho and Matt Hardy was true to the style of the two men: high-impact. Matt nearly took the win after hitting a legdrop on Jericho from the third rope. As the match went on, Dean Malenko slowly made his way closer to the ring - and Lita. Malenko then ran down to the ring and shoved Matt into Lita. As Lita lie in pain on the floor, Malenko tossed Matt back in the ring, where Jericho made the cover to retain his title! After the match, Matt Hardy went after Malenko, but Perry Saturn and Eddie Guerrero came out and attacked Matt! Chris Jericho went to help Matt, but ended up feeling the brunt of the Radicalz attack!  [wwf.com]

Lita said the following in her fan mailing list today "I've been getting lots of e-mails from people lately, concerning the "fake" nudes of Amy floating around the internet. Any nude pictures of Amy that you find are ALL fake.... Amy has never posed nude before. Some people just have way too much time on their hands!" The Hardy Boyz and Lita battled Chris Benoit, Perry Saturn and Terri in a six-person Inter-gender Tag Match. Of course, Lita's presence meant that Dean Malenko was under the Titan Tron observing his object of desire. In the ring, Lita hit Saturn with a hurricanrana and then Terri with the Twist of Fate! A Lita moonsault on a fallen Terri picked up the win for her team, but the celebration was short lived! Saturn hit Lita with a backbreaker. Disgusted, Malenko pushed Saturn away, but then hit Lita with a clothesline! [wwf.com]

02/15/01 Thursday Smackdown
In the locker room area, the Matt Hardy begged Lita to stay backstage, so as not to be subjected to another attack by Dean Malenko. Lita said that she was definitely going to be at ringside.

Matt Hardy -- accompanied by Lita and Jeff -- took on Perry Saturn, who was seconded by Terri. Dean Malenko soon sauntered to ringside, and as Terri distracted Jeff Hardy, Dean snuck up behind Lita and kissed her, just as Matt rolled up Saturn for the pin! Lita slapped Dean, and then grabbed the microphone and challenged him to a match on RAW!   [wwf.com]

02/19/01 Monday Night Raw
Dean Malenko took on Lita. Early on, Dean went to grab a steel chair, but Lita rolled him up for a near-fall. Dean continually prolonged the agony, mocking Lita as the match went on. The ref was soon knocked from the ring, and Malenko again went for a chair. Suddenly, Matt Hardy ran in from the crowd and knocked Dean silly with a steel chair. Three seconds later, Lita had defeated Dean Malenko!

After the match, Matt Hardy got a bit caught up in the victory celebration and kissed Lita on the lips! Lita looked a bit stunned at first, causing Matt to walk away, a bit embarrassed. Lita then took a minute to think about it -- and she ran after Matt and kissed him passionately, as the 17,122 fans on hand cheered wildly! [wwf.com]

The first match on SmackDown! pitted Rikishi against Jeff Hardy, who was accompanied by Lita. The 400-pounder won the match with a Banzai Drop. After the match, Rikishi gave Lita a Stink Face until Matt Hardy came to the ring to save his new flame!  [wwf.com]

02/23/01 Internet News/Rumors
Lita has been declared the Best Female Wrestler of 2000, by World Of Wrestling magazine, which is widely available here in the UK, and is available in the US as well (I think). The feature is called 'World Of Wrestling Awards 2000', and is on pages 36-45. As far as I can see, the awards have been given out by the writers of the magazine, rather than the fans. As well as the above award, Lita is also placed at number 5 in the categories of 'Best Face', and 'Hottest Bombshell'.". [Amish Patel]

Lita has been declared the "Breakout Performer Of The Year" in the World Wrestling Federation Magazine (March 2001 Issue) in their Best Of 2000 Awards. She got 32.9% of the votes while Kurt Angle only garnered 24.7%. [OWOW]

The on screen romance that fans witnessed tonight between Lita and Matt Hardy is a relationship that has been speculated outside of the wrestling ring for quite sometime. Although it has never been confirmed by Hardy or Lita that the two actually are involved in a relationship outside of the WWF, many sources have speculated that this rumor is indeed true. Monday night's "kiss" between the two is further indication that the two have something between each other both inside and outside of the WWF realm. [Alex Bozich]

In a match for the No. 1 contender spot for the Women's Title, Molly Holly and Lita faced off. The two women took it to each other in the ring, and Matt Hardy and Crash exchanged words on the outside.

As the referee was trying to break up a fight between Matt and Crash, Raven's mystery ninja came to the ring and attacked Molly! Lita then scored the pin for the win! [wwf.com]

03/01/01 Thursday Smackdown
Backstage, Lilian Garcia interviewed Jeff Hardy, asking about the new relationship between Matt Hardy and Lita. Jeff said that he had always looked at Lita as a sister, and he said Matt apparently looked at her differently. He said that he wasn't spending as much time with his brother as he used to, but he was happy for him and Lita.

The opening match on SmackDown! was a mixed tag match pitting Matt and Lita against Crash and Molly Holly. Matt won the match for his team, pinning Crash after a Twist of Fate. The happy couple embraced in the ring after the bout. [wwf.com]

Amy Dumas (Lita) has recently starred in a TV commercial for Molson beer. With her ever rising stardom and popularity, the future looks bright for Lita. Using this TV commercial as experience, it is likely that she will be a part of TV more frequently in the near future. As Matt and Jeff Hardy discussed what they were going to do in their match later, Lita came up to the boys and said she was heading to the ring for her title match against Ivory. Matt said they weren't letting her go to the ring alone, and he convinced Jeff to go with him and Lita for her match. During the match, the Hardyz mixed it up with Steven and Val, and as Jeff Hardy went to hit Val, he accidentally took out Lita! Ivory then dragged Lita back in the ring, where she made the pin to retain her title! [wwf.com]

03/09/01 Internet News/Rumors
One reason for the WWF not splitting the Hardy Boyz up is that Lita is the sole backbone of the team and if the Hardy Boyz were to break up, she would be out of a storyline in the WWF. The creative team still feels that the Hardy Boyz still have what it takes to be one of the top tag teams in the WWF. Sources are reporting that if the WWF does not turn the team heel then they will have to break the team up because lack of ideas for them and teams to go up against. One good way to look at it is that if they do break up it will leave room for another tag team to be formed. A few sources say that if the WWF decides that the Hardy Boyz should break up then Lita would either be a manager or she would just be given a deep storyline angle with the Women's division in the World Wrestling Federation. Reports have it that Lita will be featured in the April edition of the Teen People magazine, but in fact she is not anywhere in it. With that being said, look for her to be in the People magazine, and not the Teen magazine. No word on why the change was made, but she should be appearing sometime within the next couple of weeks.

Lita will also be making a television appearance in the UK on “Live and Kicking”. That will air on Sunday March 10th, 2001. The advertisement for this appearance said: Next Saturday, we'll have WWF’s Diva Lita on the show, lets hope she shows us her moonsault." [Steve Carrier]

When she was Miss Congeniality in ECW, Lita apparently admitted to dating Matt Hardy to ECW co-workers. However, when she went to the WWF, she denied doing so, fearing it could affect the WWF hiring her. 03/16/01 Internet Rumor
For a few weeks we have been hearing from various sources that the Hardy Boyz were going to separate and focus on singles careers. Well, if this happened, everyone was saying that they would break up because of Lita. It is known that Matt Hardy and Lita are together, and it has been shown on television. Rumor has it that they are going to break up, but with Lita siding with Jeff. The WWF is thinking of having the storyline go like this; Jeff and Lita were supposedly having a secret relationship this whole time, and when Matt finds this out, Jeff and Lita will become heels leaving Matt the babyface. Lita, Trish, Jackie, and Chyna will be in the May 2001 UK FHM magazine, which can be found in the US at Barnes & Noble. It will come out in April. And on the subject of magazines, Lita will be on the cover of RAW magazine later this year, with pictures from her recent trip to the UK. [Matt Boone]

On April 2nd the WWF will be releasing a Special Collector's Edition WWF "Divas 2001" Magazine. Although Lita is on the front cover, the magazine will feature all the Divas. Included in the magazine will be 1 set of trading cards, out of 3 possible sets.

The next day (April 3rd) they will release a "Divas In Hedonism" video that was shot in Jamaica. I did catch that there are two different video covers and advertisements for the video.  In the April 2001 issue of RAW Magazine, the add shows Chyna, The Kat, Trish, Terri, Jacqueline, Debra, Tori and Lita. 04/01/01 Wrestlemania X-Seven PPV
In the ring, the teams set up three ladders, and all six men were soon climbing towards the titles! And all six men soon flew off the ladders!

Spike Dudley ran down to the ring and gave Edge the Acid Drop off the ladder! He then gave Christian the Acid Drop through a table! Rhyno came down and got in the ring, cleaning house with a ladder. The manbeast speared Matt Hardy through a table.

Lita then ran down, and Rhyno grabbed a hold of her. He was about to throw her outside the ring, but Spike attacked Rhyno. Lita then hit a hurricanrana! Spike then hit Rhyno with a chair, knocking Rhyno into the ladder and knocking Edge off!

Lita cracked Spike Dudley over the head with a chair, and the Dudley Boyz hit a 3-D on Lita! E&C then cleaned house with a couple of steel chairs!

Christian eventually climbed up -- and with Rhyno's help, Christian grabbed the titles! Edge & Christian are the winners of TLC II -- and the seven-time Tag Team Champions! [wwf.com]

04/09/01 Monday Night Raw
In their locker room, the Hardys discussed their match against Stephanie, Austin and Triple H. As Matt worried, he asked Jeff what he thought. Jeff replied by saying the opportunity was awesome, and he couldn't wait to get out there and beat them! Lita and Matt agreed and the three got ready to go.

As Stephanie prepared for her match later, Stone Cold and Triple H spoke to each other. When Stephanie asked to be included on the conversation, the two men said they were done.

In a six-person intergender tag team match, the Hardy Boyz and Lita took on World Wrestling Federation Champion Stone Cold Steve Austin, Intercontinental Champion Triple H and Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley. The match began with Austin and Triple H going after the Hardys, and Stephanie knocked Lita out of the ring. The Hardys isolated the Game and nailed him with Poetry in Motion, and Jeff hit him with a corkscrew off the top rope! Jeff then attempted to pin Triple H, with help from Matt, but the Game kicked out and tagged in Austin. Matt Hardy then began pounding on Austin in the corner and went for a cover, but Austin kicked out! Jeff Hardy was tagged in, and Austin began punishing him with fierce right hands. Stone Cold tagged in Triple H, who continued to brutalize Jeff, but Jeff was able to escape and tag in his brother, who flew in and hit both Austin and Triple H with a double-clothesline! The match then spilled out of the ring, while in the ring, Lita hit Stephanie with the Twist of Fate and a moonsault! Lita then covered Stephanie for the win!

After the match, Triple H and Austin assaulted Lita with a steel chair and a Pedigree! Stone Cold then laid out both Hardy Boyz with his steel chair! Lita then rolled on top of Matt Hardy, trying to protect him from further beatings, but Austin just hit her with a chair! The Game then pulled Lita up by the hair, leaving her defenseless as Austin hit her with a Stunner! All three members of Team Extreme were left lying as RAW went off the air! [wwf.com]

04/12/01 Thursday Smackdown
The Rattlesnake said that the Hardys and Lita were in the wrong place at the wrong time. He said he felt no remorse for what he did to Lita on RAW IS WAR, and added that there wasn't a single sumbitch in the locker room who could stop him or Triple H.

As Austin mocked the crowd, Jeff Hardy attacked Triple H from behind with a chair, and then hit the Rattlesnake! With Austin and the Game reeling, Stephanie went up to Jeff and slapped him across his face! Jeff retaliated by nailing Stephanie with the Twist of Fate! Jeff then fled the ringside area as an irate Triple H and Stone Cold tried to recover!

After the commercial break, Commissioner William Regal watched footage of what had just happened, calling it an outrage. Triple H entered the commissioner's office, and an enraged Game told Regal that nobody did that to his wife, and he wanted a piece of Jeff Hardy on SmackDown! Regal said he would take care of it.

Jeff Hardy entered Commissioner Regal's office, and Regal informed him that he would be receiving an Intercontinental Championship match against the Game on SmackDown! Regal then told Jeff never to put his hands on a woman ever again, and when Jeff tried to complain about what Austin and the Game did to Lita, Regal just ignored him and told him to stay away from Stephanie! Regal said that if Jeff ever put his hands on Stephanie again, then he would never receive another title shot -- and Jeff said that after SmackDown!, he might not ever need another title shot, since he could be the new Intercontinental Champion!

A medical technician checked on Stephanie's neck. The billion-dollar princess complained to Triple H that not only had Jeff injured her neck, but he had also broken her earring -- her really expensive diamond ones! The Game told Stephanie to stay backstage to get medical attention, and he promised to kick Jeff's ass just for her.

The main event on SmackDown! was an Intercontinental Championship match, as Triple H defended against Jeff Hardy. With Stone Cold, Matt Hardy and Lita not in the arena, and with Stephanie backstage still nursing her neck injury suffered earlier in the night, the bout was set to be straight-up one-on-one for the title. The Game gained control of the match, but soon made a mistake by mouthing off to the referee, and then shoving him down. That gave Matt Hardy -- who had been at the arena all along -- the opportunity to sneak into the ring and nail Triple H in the head with a chair, allowing Jeff to hit the Swanton and score the pin! The Lita/Spike Dudley feud has said to be just getting started. Look for the two to continue to get involved in each others' business as well as fight each other when The Hardyz and The Dudleyz wrestle each other. [Mark Peters]

The Spike Dudley/Lita Match was cut from the UK version of HeAT due to issues involving violence towards women. [Liam Manton]

Once again, as TSN oh-so-loves to do, they edited Raw on Monday night. Of course, as always, it involves the beating of a woman. After the Hardys & Lita defeated Austin, Triple H & Stephanie, Austin and Triple H began to brutally decimate the so-called Team Extreme. TSN saw enough after Austin began bashing Lita with a chair while she was trying to protect Matt Hardy. They cut to the stands, then cut back to the ring, and cut to the stands again. Eventually they just pulled the plug, and cut to their regularly scheduled programming (a sports news show similar to ESPN's SportsCenter). JR didn't even get to bid us goodbye and to watch SmackDown! on Thursday, because TSN cut the show short. [Fred Cook]

04/16/01 Monday Night Raw
The night's main event pitted Intercontinental Champion Jeff Hardy against Triple H. Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley accompanied her husband to the ring, and Lita joined Jeff as Matt watched on from the back. The match began with the Game pounding on Jeff, throwing shoulders into his midsection, causing Jeff to double over in pain. Jeff struggled to recover and Triple H continued to pound on him. Just when it seemed Jeff was fighting back, Triple H flattened him again with a thunderous clothesline! The Game went for a Pedigree, but Jeff countered with a jaw-breaker.

Triple H came back with a face-buster and went for the pin, but Lita pulled him off! The match spilled outside the ring, where Jeff smacked the Game with the Intercontinental Title! The referee didn't see it, so the match continued, and Jeff started tossing Triple H face-first into the ring steps! Jeff tossed Triple H into the ring and nailed him with a sky-high drop kick, but Triple H kicked out at two! Triple H began to climb the ropes, but Jeff followed him up and hit the Game with a Hurricanrana off the top rope! Hardy then tried for a Swanton Bomb, but the Game rolled away! As Matt Hardy watched on in the back, Stone Cold attacked him! Lita saw what happened on the TitanTron, and she began to go back to help Matt, but Stone Cold met her at the entrance! He began slowly stalking her out to ring side, and meanwhile, Triple H pinned Jeff Hardy after a Pedigree to regain the Intercontinental Title! Afterwards, Matt ran out, but Austin and Triple H continued to put a beating on both Hardys! Stephanie then tossed Lita into the ring, and just as Austin and Triple H were about to go after her, Undertaker and Kane came out to the ring! Austin and Triple H ran to the back as Taker and Kane entered the ring! [wwf.com]

In a match for the European Championship, Eddie Guerrero defended against Matt Hardy. The referee was soon distracted by Terri, allowing Lita to go up top and nail Eddie with a hurricanrana. A Twist of Fate later, Matt Hardy scored the pin to win the European Championship! After the bout, Matt and Lita celebrated with a passionate kiss! [wwf.com]

04/29/01 Sunday Heat
Molly and Lita met each other to possibly decide who the #1 contender would be.  Both women scored several close pinfalls on one another, but Lita was ultimately declared the winner after using the Twist Of Fate on her opponent.  [owow.com]

04/30/01 Monday Night Raw
Trish Stratus went to the Commish's office. Regal told her that since Mr. McMahon was impressed with her in over Ivory last week, he granted her a match with Women's Champion Chyna -- a non-title match. Regal added that that should Trish defeat Chyna, he may grant her a rematch, and indicated she may actually get in a little move or two. Trish responded that Regal was an expert on what's little!

Once again, Chyna's power and strength was just too much. A press slam and powerbomb was enough to finish Trish. Chyna then grabbed the mic to say that as much as she respected the women of the Federation, she feels that he hasn't had any competition of late, so she'd have to spank her competition after defeating them. That brought out Lita, who said Chyna has been a total inspiration to her. But she added that she also has a lot of respect for the Women's Championship, and that if it was competition Chyna wanted, Lita would be honored to fight her for it. Initially, Chyna made a mockery out of Lita's challenge, but soon accepted and told Lita to name a time and place -- but to not be surprised if her hiny was sore the next day. [wwf.com]

05/04/01 Internet Rumors
There is speculation that Chyna will soon be making a heel turn. The fact that Lita beat Molly Holly on Sunday night Heat may be a sign that Lita is being set up as Chyna's top contender for the Women's title, and with Lita's relationship with the Hardy Boyz she will always be a face as long as they are, and there have been some rumors Chyna will be returning to Triple H, which would turn her heel. Keep in mind that this is just a rumor at the present moment in time. [Steven Carrier]

----- WWF is pretty upset with the promo between Lita and Chyna, but still feel the match is going to be very well over. Chyna's constant mentioning of "spanking" Lita was probably her cheap attempt at playing a snobby person. The promo was very bad, but never-the-less the crowd was pumped for every stuttered word the two ladies mumbled. [Matt Boone]

Before their match against Edge, Christian and Rhyno, the Hardy Boyz told Eddie Guerrero that the only reason they were teaming with him was because Commissioner Regal forced them to. Eddie went on to explain to them that he wants to see Lita beat Chyna, but Lita stopped him and said that it would take a lot more than talk for the Hardys to trust him. Eddie shrugged and said he'd show them in the ring.

That match was next, and it began with Matt Hardy in the ring with Christian. Soon, several tags were made, and Jeff Hardy found himself in the ring with Christian. As Christian pummeled Jeff, Eddie Guerrero distracted the referee! Soon, all six competitors found themselves in the ring and Lita nailed Edge with a hurricanrana! As Rhyno lined up to hit her with a Gore, Eddie Guerrero got in his way and took the hit! Rhyno then covered Eddie for the pin.

In women's action, Molly Holly took on Lita. Before the match, Chyna, Lita's Judgement Day opponent, came to ringside for guest commentary. After Lita and Molly both flipped and tossed each other around the ring, Lita picked up the win with a moonsault. At that point, Chyna walked into the ring and held Lita's hand up in victory! In six-person tag action, the Hardy Boyz and Lita took on the Goodfather, Bull Buchanan, and Ivory of the Right to Censor. The Right to Censor did not have Steven Richards at ringside, as the group is apparently looking for a new leader! As the match got underway, Eddie Guerrero strolled out to the stage, and moments later, he tripped up Bull, allowing Matt to hit the Twist of Fate and pinfall. [wwf.com]

Dean asked Eddie what was up with him helping the Hardy Boyz and Lita. Dean asked Eddie if he remembered any of what the Radicalz have been though in the past with Team Xtreme. Eddie said that he was a team player and that Dean and Perry Saturn would find out what he was up to later!

In tag team action, the Hardy Boyz went up against Dean Malenko and Perry Saturn. Eddie Guerrero accompanied his fellow Radicalz to the ring, and Lita joined the Hardys. The high-flying match ended with Terri trying to give Perry Saturn a chair. Eddie Guerrero grabbed the chair from Terri and smacked Perry Saturn with the chair! Matt Hardy rolled Perry up for the win, and then after the match, Eddie smacked Dean Malenko with the chair!

In a women's tag team match, the odd combination of Ivory and Molly Holly teamed up to take on Chyna and Lita. During the match, Lita went to tag in Chyna, but the Ninth Wonder of the World told Lita to get back in the ring! Lita went on to struggle against Molly, but picked up the win after hitting Molly with a moonsault. After the match, Chyna raised Lita's arm, but Lita just stared at Chyna in disbelief.

In the back, Michael Cole asked Lita what happened in the match. She said that she didn't know why Chyna wouldn't tag in. Then, Chyna walked up and said that she wanted proof that Lita was ready. Lita said she was ready, and then, before walking off, Chyna told Lita that, speaking from personal experience, no one should trust Eddie Guerrero. [wwf.com]

Many feel that this Sunday, at Judgment Day, Lita could very well win the WWF Women's Title from Chyna. Since Lita's debut, it has been imminent that WWF officials have had big plans for the star and this could very well be the beginning of a long title run with the precious Women's Title Belt. Early on, Chyna used her size and strength advantage to overpower Lita. But Lita battled back, using her speed and agility to gain the advantage. Chyna assaulted Lita with a series of forearms and clotheslines, gaining several near-falls. Lita soon surprised Chyna with a DDT, and nailed the Ninth Wonder of the World with a series of right hands. Lita then hit Chyna with a second-rope clothesline.

Chyna gained the advantage with a swinging neckbreaker and a powerslam, but Lita kicked out at 2. Chyna then military-pressed Lita and sent her crashing down to the canvas. Lita locked Chyna in an armbreaker submission hold, but Chyna roared back with a headscissors.

Suddenly, Eddie Guerrero slowly walked to the stage to watch the action, as the two women exchanged submission holds in the ring. Moments later, Chyna set Lita up for a powerbomb, but Lita reversed it into a hurricanrana, which earned a near-fall. Matt Hardy put the European Championship on the line against X-Pac. Matt was accompanied to the ring by his brother Jeff and Lita, and X-Pac was joined by Justin Credible and Albert. The match spilled out of the ring, where Albert and Justin Credible attacked Jeff Hardy, and Lita went after X-Pac! X-Pac flattened Lita, but Eddie Guerrero ran out to the ring and took out X-Pac! Eddie threw Matt and X-Pac back in the ring, where Matt made the cover to retain his title!

Eddie Guerrero entered the Hardys locker room, wearing a Hardy Boyz T-shirt, and told Matt that he didn't need to go out to the ring, that Eddie and Jeff could handle the match with Edge and Christian. Matt agreed, and then Eddie invited Lita out to ringside with him and Jeff. Eddie Guererro teamed up with Jeff Hardy to take on Edge and Christian. Led to the ring by Lita and Eddie Guerrero, the Hardy Boyz took on X-Factor in tag team action. X-Pac and Justin Credible gained the early advantage thanks to some double teaming while the referee's back was turned. But the tide turned when Lita grabbed X-Pac's legs and pulled him between the ring post. As X-Pac and Justin Credible went for X Marks the Spot, Guerrero grabbed their legs to prevent them from executing the move! Guerrero's interference led to a Jeff Hardy Swanton Bomb and a win for the Hardys!

In a match demanded by Albert and made by Commissioner Regal earlier in the evening, Albert battled Eddie Guerrero in one-on-one competition. Still embarrassed by how Latino Heat cost X-Factor their match against the Hardys, Albert trash talked Guerrero and threw him around like a rag doll. When Albert set Guerrero up for a powerbomb, Lita came to ringside and appeared to distract the big man. Matt Hardy, Jeff Hardy and Lita were preparing for their match against X-Factor when Matt and Lita went to a corner of the dressing room for a little makeout session! Eddie Guerrero then walked into the locker room, and jokingly suggested that Matt and Lita get a room. Matt got all defensive, saying that this was their room, and that maybe Eddie should have knocked first.

Eddie said that they were a team, and they would better be spending their time preparing for their match. Team Extreme then headed to the ring for their bout against X-Factor.

Moments later, the Hardys and Eddie took on X-Pac, Justin Credible and Albert. A few minutes into an action-packed bout, Albert tossed Eddie over the top rope to the outside. Matt snuck up behind Albert and hit him with a neckbreaker, but as Matt went to the second rope, he became distracted with what was going on outside the ring, as Lita was checking on Eddie. In a King of the Ring Qualifying Match, Matt Hardy took on his brother Jeff! Matt and Jeff gingerly went after each other as the match began. Jeff Hardy climbed to the top rope and hit his brother with a corkscrew, but Matt kicked out of the pin attempt and the action spilled outside of the ring. Right now, I don't see what it would do for me, for women or for the view of what woman look like if I were to do it, because it's already been done. In a European Championship match, Matt Hardy put his title on the line against Justin Credible. Hardy and Credible slugged it out, and Matt nearly had to give up when Credible applied a chokehold! Matt escaped, but Justin flattened him with a DDT. When Credible went to hit a baseball slide, Mat barely got out of the way. Taking the break in the action to his advantage, Matt started pounding on Justin. After Lita hit Justin with a Litacanrana, Matt nailed the Twist of Fate and pinned Justin for the pin to retain his European Championship! [wwf.com]

In the back, Trish Stratus was talking on her cell phone when she was hit on by the Big Show, who showed off a rather expressive T-shirt that he said he made himself. Show then said that he was considering a European vacation after he defeated Matt Hardy for the European Championship and asked Trish if she would like to join him! Trish said she would enjoy some European down time, but asked if they would stay in separate rooms.

Matt Hardy defended the European Championship against the Big Show - accompanied by Trish Stratus. Motivated by Federation gold and a European vacation with Trish, Show tossed Hardy around like unwanted toys. Late in the match Trish suddenly kissed Hardy, and an enraged Lita pulled off Trish's blouse and attacked her! As the fight spilled outside the ring, Show took out both Hardys. Inside the ring, Trish nearly pinned Lita after a bulldog. Moments later, Show was about to chokeslam Lita, but Matt and Lita hit a double DDT on the Show. Lita then hit a Twist of Fate on Trish, and then nailed the moonsault to win the bout! Backstage, Jeff Hardy was lacing his boots in the locker room when Trish Stratus walked in. Trish said she appreciated what he had done for her this past Monday on RAW when he saved her from the Big Show. At that point, Lita and Matt Hardy walked in and asked Jeff what was going on. As Trish left, it was obvious that Lita and Matt were upset that Jeff had been consorting with the blonde beauty.

The next match was a tag team contest, featuring the Hardy Boyz, accompanied by the lovely Lita, taking on the team of “The One” Billy Gunn and the Big Show. After kicking out of a spinning DDT, Billy Gunn threw Matt Hardy out of the ring. At that point, Lita hit her Litacanrana on Gunn, throwing him to the outside. Back inside the ring, the Hardyz double-teamed Big Show, with Matt hitting his Twist of Fate and Jeff landing his Swanton Bomb. Jeff Hardy took on the Big Show shortly after. Just as the match began, Trish Stratus pranced down to ringside, seemingly to cheer on Jeff. Jeff tried to hit Big Show with a hurricanrana off the top rope, but Show caught him and slammed him face first into the mat to score the win. A dazed Jeff Hardy was helped to his feet by the gorgeous Trish, who planted a kiss on Jeff’s lips!

Commentators Jim Ross and Paul Heyman announced another match for Invasion. WCW’s Torrie Wilson and Stacy Keibler will clash with the Federation’s Trish Stratus and Lita in a tag team bra and panties match!

Speaking of Lita she and Matt Hardy appeared live from WWF New York. Matt said that Lita didn’t have any problem participating in the first-ever tag team bra and panties match. But, Matt said, they didn’t know what to make of Trish Stratus. Lita told Trish that actions speak louder than words, then turned and locked lips with Matt!

In a backstage interview, Scott Hudson caught up with Torrie Wilson and Stacy Keibler. Torrie smugly said that it was stupid of Vince to think that she would ever sleep with him. Trish Stratus apologized to Jeff Hardy for kissing him on RAW, saying she just got caught up in the moment. Jeff said he wasn't mad. Lita and Matt Hardy then approached the two, and Lita said that she understood that she and Trish had to team up at Invasion, but she still had personal issues with Trish, and she wanted to settle them one-on-one on SmackDown! Trish said OK, and then walked away. Matt then asked Jeff what was going on between him and Trish, and Jeff said that nothing was going on.

Lita battled Trish Stratus. Lita pinned Trish following a moonsault, but the big news came moments later, as Stacy Keibler and Torrie Wilson approached the Hardy Boyz backstage and kissed Matt and Jeff! An irate Lita -- who watched from the ring -- was none too happy after the bout! [wwf.com]

In the WCW women's locker room, WCW's Stacy Keibler and Torrie Wilson were talking about their arm-wrestling match against Trish Stratus and Lita later in the night. At that point, Nick Patrick entered the room and said that even though he was roughed up earlier in the night, he would still be the referee for their arm-wrestling match.

Trish and Lita were in the Federation's women's locker room, and the red-haired diva told Trish that not only were they going to beat Stacy and Torrie this Sunday at Invasion -- they were going to humilate them! At that point, Hebner walked in the room and said that beacuse of WCW referee's Nick Patrick's cheating ways, he would be the official in their arm-wrestling match later that night.

With Patrick and Hebner both officiating, Stacy and Torrie faced Trish and Lita in an arm-wrestling match. Trish almost had Torrie's hand to the mat when Patrick blindsided Hebner, knocking him to the ground. This allowed Stacy to help Torrie, pulling her arm down for the win. In a match in which the true winners were male fans around the world, four of the most beautiful women in the world met in the first-ever tag-team Bra and Panties match!

Mick Foley's music filled the arena, and the Hardcore Legend headed to ringside to officiate this very special match-up! The WCW ladies competed for Mick's attention, but the Federation divas just wanted to fight! Torrie took it to Trish, but Trish immediately roared back, knocking Torrie down!

The women went right for one anothers' clothes, as the crowd roared their approval! Before long, Stacy lost her shirt! Lita then went for Stacy's pants, but couldn't quite get them off. The WCW women double-teamed Lita, and Stacy ripped Lita's shirt off! Lita went up top for a bodypress, but Stacy moved out of the way.

Trish & Torrie then got in the ring, and Torrie soon ripped of Trish's shirt. But Trish reversed it and took off Torrie's pants! Lita and Torrie then hit the Twist of Fate on Torrie, and took off Torrie's shirt -- Torrie was now stripped all the way to her bra and panties! Lita then hit the moonsault on Stacy and helped Trish take off Stacy's pants - the Federation women won the Bra and Panties match! Lita and Trish walked away from the ring arm in arm. In inter-gender tag team action, Matt Hardy and Lita faced the Alliance's Hurricane Helms and Torrie Wilson. Helms and Wilson nearly stole the match after they hit Lita with a double suplex. Lita recovered to tag in Hardy, who worked over Helms and teamed with Lita to nail Poetry in Motion to both Helms and Wilson! After a Lita hurriconrada, Matt covered Helms but Wilson broke up the count. Hardy then took down Helms with the Twist of Fate, but then walked into a Torrie low blow! Stone Cold Steve Austin and Debra arrived at the arena. The Rattlesnake and his wife seemed to be getting along well, and seemed to have patched up their disagreement from last Thursday's episode of SmackDown!

Lita was getting something to drink backstage when she ran into Debra. Lita said she was very impressed by Debra last Thursday on SmackDown! for talking back to Austin. She said she knew it was probably hard to live with a man like Stone Cold, and Debra got offended, asking what she meant by that. Lita said that it was odd to her that such a sweet woman like Debra could get along with a man like Austin. Debra was very offended, and said she would talk to Lita later. She then walked away in a huff.

In Stone Cold's locker room, Debra complained to her husband about what Lita had just said, embellishing a bit by saying Lita called Austin "trailer trash" and said that Matt Hardy could beat Austin's butt any day of the week!

Matt Hardy and Lita talked backstage, and were approached by Stone Cold Steve Austin. Austin said that Debra had told him everything she had said, and Lita denied the allegations. Austin told Lita to shut up, and Matt said not to talk to her like that! Austin said that if Lita was so confident that Matt could kick his ass, then maybe they should meet in the ring later in the night!

Later, Stone Cold walked backstage and saw Lita talking on her cell phone. He accused her of telling more lies, and she said the whole thing was just a misunderstanding. She said it was stupid, and he said they'd see who looked stupid tonight. Stone Cold entered his locker room and said he had just straightened everything out with Lita -- he told Debra that Lita had called her "country dumb," like Debra had just fallen off the back of the turnip truck! He also said Lita had said that Debra's roots were getting a bit too dark! Austin said he stuck up for Debra, and that he was going to whip Matt Hardy's ass right now!

With Debra and Lita at ringside, World Wrestling Federation Champion Stone Cold Steve Austin took on European Champion Matt Hardy in a non-title match. Matt got the early advantage on the Rattlesnake, but Stone Cold rallied back, assaulting the North Carolina native. Austin soon started choking Matt and wouldn't let go, as Debra and Lita got into it. Lita soon wound up in the ring, and Austin hit the Stunner on Lita. Matt snuck up behind Austin and went for the Twist of Fate, but Austin reversed, hit the Stunner and pinned Matt for the 1-2-3. Torrie Wilson and Stacy Keibler were talking backstage when Ivory approached them and said she was going to teach them what it took to survive and prosper in sports entertainment. She said their first task would be on Sunday Night HEAT, when the three of them took on Jacqueline and Lita. The hottest night of the summer began with an explosive episode of HEAT, which aired live from the Shark Tank at the Compaq Center in sunny San Jose, California! Backstage, as Lita spoke on her phone, Torrie Wilson and Stacy Keibler attacked her from behind! The two women of the Alliance left Lita lying and told her that the WWF Divas didn't stand a chance against the Women of the Alliance!

Back from the break, Lita looked questionable for her handicap match with Jacqueline against Keibler, Wilson and Ivory later on HEAT! As a trainer checked on her, Matt Hardy told her that maybe she shouldn't compete if she was hurt. Lita kept insisting that she was fine.

The Women's Handicap match pitted Ivory, Stacy and Torrie against Jacqueline - who was without a teammate because of Lita's injury! The match began with the three women of the Alliance battering Jackie - until Molly Holly ran out to the ring to help the WWF Diva! Once the brawling was cleared up, the match began, with Molly taking Lita's place. It appeared that Ivory had the win in hand, but Lita hobbled to ringside and hit her with the Twist of Fate! That allowed Jackie to pin Ivory for the win!

After the match, Paul Heyman entered the ring and said that the WWF women had ripped off the women of the Alliance! Ivory demanded a re-match the next night on RAW! [wwf.com]

The Federation diva tried to attack Helms, but the former WCW Cruiserweight Champ pulled down the top rope, forcing Lita to take a header to the outside. In his attempt to be the Federation's newest superhero, Hurricane Helms -- complete with mask and cape -- challenged Matt Hardy for the European Title. Hurricane offered a pre-match handshake, but Hardy went right on the offensive. Hardy controlled the match -- nearly pinning Helms with a legdrop from the second rope -- until Helms reversed a Hardy back suplex from the top rope. Suddenly, Ivory attacked Lita's injured knee with a tire iron, and then hit Hardy in the ribs with it. The attack allowed Helms to finish Hardy and become the new Federation European Champion! In the back, Perry Saturn told Hurricane Helms that he needed help finding Moppy's kidnapper. The Hurricane examined the ransom note and deduced that Matt Hardy had something to do with Moppy's disappearance. Helms said that his "Hurri-sense" was telling him that Matt Hardy was not what he seemed.

In an Intergender Tag Team match, Matt Hardy and Lita took on Ivory and the Hurricane. When Matt went to hit the Hurricane with a legdrop, Perry Saturn ran to ringside and grabbed him! That allowed the Hurricane to make the pin on Matt! After the match ended, Saturn attacked Helms, and demanded to know where Moppy was! [wwf.com]

09/04/01 Smackdown (Special Tuesday Night Show)
The opening match on the show pitted the high-flying Hardy Boyz -- accompanied by Lita -- against Raven and Justin Credible, who were led to the ring by Terri. Lita and Terri had some words before the match, and Terri even shoved Lita to the outside of the ring! Moments later, Jeff stunned the Alliance members with the Poetry in Motion all the way to the outside of the ring! All four men soon spilled into the ring, and Justin went for the Twist of Fate on Matt Hardy! But Matt powered out, hit a Twist of Fate of his own, and Jeff then hit a Swanton Bomb for the win! After the match, Terri got into the ring and got in the face of Matt, Jeff and Lita -- so Lita hit her with a Twist of Fate! [wwf.com]

09/10/01 Monday Night Raw
RAW continued with Lance Storm praising The Hurricane for doing such a good job of mocking the Federation's humor by pretending to be a superhero. Hurricane thanked him, but said his Hurri-sense was confused because he was not pretending to be a superhero. Hurricane said he was off to find the psychic Ivory for the trio's match against the Hardys and Lita. As Hurricane dashed off, Storm was left shaking his head.

Matt and Jeff Hardy along with Lita arrived at the ring for the intergender tag match. The Alliance came out and assumed command of the tempo. As Storm softened Matt Hardy in the ring, Hurricane donned his cape, climbed to the top rope and launched a flying crossbody at his opponent. But Matt rebounded and tried to went to hit a leg drop until Storm kicked him in the head. Jeff rebounded by sailing over the top rope and taking out Storm. Lita and Ivory continued the battle in the ring, with Lita almost getting the pin. Storm broke things up and tried to give Lita a superplex, only to have it broken up by Jeff Hardy. Hurricane interrupted, but Matt took control and set up Lita for a moonsault that gave Team Xtreme the win! [wwf.com]

09/13/01 Thursday Smackdown [2 Nights After The World Trade Center Tragedy]

During the show several of the WWF/Alliance Superstars were asked to express their feelings about the WTC tragedy:
Lita said that she doesn't know what to say. This is so evil and she tries to delve below. She has sadness, anger, fear and helplessness going through her. Who would do something like this? Why? What were they trying to accomplish? They don't understand. They start to get the suspects and motives for an event like this, but what does this solve? It doesn't change anything that has happened. Lita has watched the TV ever since Tuesday morning and the only thing that has changed is it's become more of a reality. Lita has never felt anything like this, personally or on a National level. She would never have what it takes to say that she knows what to do during something like this. Whenever she has a problem, it begins with stopping everything and taking a deep breath. In singles action, Jeff Hardy entered the ring against Lance Storm. After some brutal and high-flying action, Jeff Hardy kept going for the pin, but Storm kicked out each time! Ivory then distracted Jeff, and Storm went to make a pin, but Jeff kicked out! Ivory once again went to distract Jeff, but Lita went after her!

In the ring, Jeff went to hit Storm with a Swanton Bomb, but Lance got his knees up! Storm then locked Jeff into his Half-Boston Crab hold, forcing Jeff to tap out! [wwf.com]

09/24/01 Monday Night Raw
Lita was hanging out in the weight room when Kanyon walked in and asked her to hang out after his match with Matt Hardy, to find out personally the answer to the question, "Who better than Kanyon? Nobody baby!" Lita asked Kanyon to repeat himself, which confirmed her belief that he did, in fact, have a speech impediment.

During Matt Hardy's match, Kanyon seemed more focused on hitting on Lita than the match, but a Lita slap to his face seemed to put Kanyon back in focus, at least temporarily. After a couple of near falls, Kanyon was still eyeing Lita. The fight took to the top rope, where Hardy pushed Kanyon down and hit a leg drop from the second rope. Lita even contributed with a Lita-con-rada on Kanyon while on the outside. Matt had Kanyon ready for the Twist of Fate, but Kanyon pushed Hardy off and into Lita, which caused Lita to fall to the floor. That left Hardy open for a Kanyon Flatliner, and a victory for Kanyon. In tag action, the Hardy Boyz -- accompanied by Lita -- took on Rhyno and Kanyon. Kanyon continued his flirtation with Lita during the match. At one point, he went to kiss her, but she hung him up on the top rope, and Matt then finished him off with a Twist of Fate to give the Hardys a pinfall win. [wwf.com]

10/08/01 Monday Night Raw
Next up, Booker T and Test -- T&T -- defended the WCW Tag Team Championship against the Hardy Boyz, who were accompanied to the ring by Lita. Test and Booker used their power advantage early on to dominate the Hardys, but Team Xtreme battled back. Booker hit Jeff with the Book End, but Lita nailed a hurricanrana on Booker! Matt then hit the Twist of Fate on Booker. As Lita held Test's foot, Booker and Jeff hit each other with a double clothesline. Outside the ring, Test threw Lita over the barricade, and Matt attacked Test outside the ring.

The Undertaker then made his way to the ring and gave Booker the Last Ride, with the ref on the outside! Jeff followed up with a Swanton Bomb, and pinned Booker as the Hardys became WCW Tag Team Champions!

Later Lita was leaving the Hardys' locker room when she ran into The Hurricane and Mighty Molly. They said that the way the Hardys won the titles was dishonest, and Molly challenged Lita to a bout on RAW. Lita accepted, saying "Holy ass-kicking!." Hurricane asked, "What's up with that?"

Lita took on Mighty Molly, as Jim Ross announced that Undertaker had accepted Booker T's challenge for a match at No Mercy. Lita went for the Twist of Fate, but Molly powered out of it. Moments later, Molly upset Lita, pinning her with a roll-up! After the match, The Hurricane came out to congratulate his sidekick! After the bout, the two went to the parking area, where Hurricane said that they were going to leave on the Molly-mobile, as he called it for one night only! [wwf.com]

10/18/01 Thursday Smackdown
The music of the Hurricane hit and he made his way to the ring along with Lance Storm, Ivory and Mighty Molly for a six person tag team match against Lita and the Hardy Boyz! The match started off with Lance Storm against Jeff Hardy and Jeff whipped Storm, but Storm countered it and whipped Jeff into the corner. Jeff took Storm down with a head scissors and then he gave him a leg drop to the groin. Jeff made the tag to Matt and the Hardys hit the Poetry in Motion on Lance Storm. Matt then slammed Storm's head into the corner a number of times, and then he gave him a Russian leg sweep. Matt gave Storm a right hand and then he whipped him off the ropes and Storm slid under Matt, making the tag to Helms, and Helms got in the ring and gave Matt a neck breaker off of the back of Storm.

Helms then hooked Matt Hardy and gave him a suplex and then he went off the ropes for a leg drop, but Matt Hardy moved out of the way. Helms gave Matt a shot to the mid section and then Matt came off the ropes with a sunset flip, but Helms gave Matt a shot to the head. Matt then rolled Helms up in a pin for a two count and then Helms gave Matt a super clothesline. Helms knocked Jeff down from the apron and then Helms took Matt down with a snap mare and Molly got in the ring and snapped the neck of Matt as he was on the mat. Helms gave Matt a side back breaker and then he taunted Lita. Helms whipped Matt into Molly and Molly kicked Matt in the chest and then Helms gave Matt a neck breaker and a pin for a two count. Helms made the tag to Storm and he got in the ring and took down Matt Hardy.

Jeff got in the ring and knocked Storm to the outside and took him down with a cross body. Helms made the tag to Molly as Matt made the tag to Lita. Lita got in the ring and speared Molly and gave her some right hands and then a clothesline and a drop kick. Lita whipped Molly off the ropes and gave her a tilt a whirl slam and then a pin for a two count as Storm broke it up. Storm and Helms then went for a double team suplex on Lita, but the Hardys saved her and then the Hardys and Lita gave Storm and Helms a triple team suplex! Matt knocked Storm to the outside of the ring and then Lita went for the Twist of Fate on Helms, but Ivory knocked her into the ropes and Jeff Hardy fell down and then Helms hit the Eye of the Hurricane on Jeff Hardy and then he pinned him for a three count to get the win!

A few minutes later the APA were shown by the Hurricycle, and they were making fun of it. Bradshaw asked Faarooq if he feels like flying to St. Louis for No Mercy? Faarooq said that he's scared of planes. Why not drive?! The APA discussed it and then they got in the Hurricycle and drove off with it as Helms, Storm and Molly looked angered! [powerwrestling.com]

10/21/01 No Mercy PPV
No Mercy kicked off from the Savvis Center in St. Louis with WCW Tag Team Championship action, as the Hardy Boyz defended against The Hurricane and Lance Storm. The Hardys were accompanied to the ring by Lita, while Hurricane & Storm were accompanied by Mighty Molly and Ivory. Hurricane showed off some of his Hurri-powers as the match began, but the Hardys battled right back with their high-flying, double-teaming tactics. But Hurricane & Storm roared right back with some double-team tactics of their own. Soon Hurricane put on his cape and leapt from the top rope all the way to the outside, taking out his opposition!

The challengers isolated Jeff Hardy, but Jeff soon battled back, nailing Lance with a breath-taking corkscrew moonsault. Moments later, he tagged Matt, who cleaned house. Soon it was an all-out brawl in the ring, with several near falls. Matt went for the Twist of Fate, and the challengers hit a double thrust kick, but Jeff saved his brother from the pin at the last second. Lita got involved soon after, getting into it with Ivory and Mighty Molly. Jeff then hit Ivory, and Lance Storm snuck up on Jeff to apply the half Crab. But Lita hit Lance with a hurricanrana. Matt then hit a Twist of Fate on Hurricane, and Jeff hit the Swanton Bomb for the win!

Later Stacy Keibler was shown in the backstage area, and she came across Matt Hardy. Stacy started to ask where the Dudleys are, but it doesn't matter, because Matt's a Hardy and he wouldn't know. Stacy then asked Matt Hardy what he thinks about her lingerie. Matt said it's real good. She looks great. Lingerie Match. Stacy left, and Matt couldn't get his eyes off of Stacy. 10/22/01 Monday Night Raw
In the arena, Lita's music hit and she made her way to the ring for a Divas Tag Team Match! Trish Stratus then made her way to the ring as the tag team partner of Lita, and they are going against Ivory and Mighty Molly! Lita started it off against Molly and Molly offered a hand shake, but then she kicked Lita in the gut and then Lita took Molly down with a head scissors and then she made the tag to Ivory. Lita took Ivory down with a couple of arm drags and then she made the tag to Trish, and Trish and Lita took Ivory down in a double team flap jack and then Trish pinned Ivory for a two count. Trish whipped Ivory into the corner and then she kicked her in the chest to knock her down. Ivory then went for a power bomb but Trish got out of it and then she knocked Molly down, and then Ivory nailed Molly and then Trish rolled Ivory up in a pin for a two count.

Trish choked Ivory on the ropes and Molly went over and gave Trish a cheap shot. Ivory then tossed Trish down from the ropes and then she stomped away on her as she was down on the mat. Ivory got Trish in a side back breaker and then Ivory made the tag to Molly. Molly got in the ring and snapped the neck of Trish and then she kicked away on her as she was down on the mat. Molly choked Trish over the bottom rope, and then Ivory pulled Trish's head onto the bottom rope behind the referee's back. Molly then gave Trish a series of elbow drops as she was down on the mat and then she picked Trish up and hooked her in a front face lock and then a suplex. Molly went to the top rope, but Trish was able to slow her down by hitting the ropes, and then Trish Stratus went to the top rope and she gave Molly a top rope hurricanrana!

Impressive move by Trish Stratus. Both women made the tag and Lita got in the ring and clotheslined Ivory and then she gave her a swinging neck breaker. Lita whipped Molly into the corner and then she whipped Ivory into Molly and then Trish and Lita went for the Poetry in Motion, but Ivory gave Trish a clothesline to stop her. Ivory and Molly then whipped Lita off the ropes, and Lita came back with a double clothesline. Lita knocked Molly down with a drop kick and then she waited for Ivory. Lita then went for the Twist of Fate on Ivory and she got it on as Trish gave Molly a bulldog in the ring. Lita then went to the top rope and she came off with a moonsault on Ivory and then a pin for a three count to get the win!

Later, Matt Hardy was shown walking in the backstage area, and he knocked on Lita's dressing room. He went in, but Trish was standing there, in a towel. Matt said that he's looking for Lita. Trish said that she hasn't seen her since the match. Matt congratulated her on her match. Trish then went on to take a shower. Matt said that he didn't mean to barge in and Lita showed up, and she asked Matt what he's doing in here. Matt said that he was looking for her, because he wants to congratulate her on her great victory tonight. The WCW Tag Team Championship was on the line, as the Hardy Boyz -- accompanied by Lita -- defended against the Dudley Boyz, with Stacy Keibler. Matt was going for the Twist of Fate on D-Von, but was distracted by Stacy. D-Von knocked Matt from the ring, and on the outside, Lita and Stacy went at it. Moments later, the Dudleys gave Jeff a 3-D from the top rope to become the new WCW Tag Team Champions! [wwf.com]

10/29/01 Monday Night Raw
Stacy Keibler made her way to the ring for a one on one match against Lita! Stacy attacked Lita right as she got in the ring and Lita was able to fight back. Lita whipped Stacy, but Stacy flipped and landed on her feet. Lita then nailed Stacy with a hard clothesline to knock her down and then she gave her a side walk slam and a pin for a two count. Stacy gave Lita a shot to the face and then she slammed her into the corner. Stacy choked Lita in the corner with her boot and then she argued with the referee. Lita tossed Stacy into the corner and gave her some right hands and then she brought her to the middle of the ring and gave her a suplex. Lita pinned Stacy for a two count and then Stacy gave Lita a chin breaker and then Lita whipped Stacy into the corner. Stacy went to take Lita down but Lita knocked Stacy right to the outside of the ring. Stacy went down, and it looked like she hurt her leg, and Lita came off the top rope with a move, but Stacy avoided it and Lita went right into the security wall. Matt Hardy came out and he picked Lita up and helped her into the ring. Matt then argued with Stacy and Stacy slapped him. Matt then went to hit Stacy, but his elbow hit Lita and then Stacy got in the ring and pinned Lita, but she was only able to get a two count. Lita then hooked Stacy in the Twist of Fate and then she pinned her for a three count to get the win!

As Jeff Hardy prepared for his match, Lita entered his locker room and asked where Matt was. Jeff didn't know, and then asked Lita about the bruise on her face, the result of Matt's accidental elbow on RAW. Lita said it was no big deal, and then asked Jeff if he'd ever heard Matt talk about Stacy Keibler. Just then, Matt walked in, and asked what was going on. Lita said Jeff was just checking on her bruise, which was more than Matt had done. She then stormed out, and Matt complained to Jeff that he was sick of always having to defend himself.

In a six-person intergender tag match, the Hardy Boyz and Lita took on the Dudley Boyz and Stacy Keibler. The Duds soon took out the table, at Stacy's request, and Jeff snuck up behind Stacy and spanked her! Matt was going for a cover at one point, but Stacy broke it up, leading to Lita attacking the Duchess of Dudleyville! Moments later, Lita went up top and hit the Litacanrana on Bubba Ray! Matt then went for the Twist of Fate, but Bubba shoved him off, right into Lita, who flew off the ring apron! Jeff checked on Lita as Matt fought off both Dudleys. It didn't take long for the WCW Tag Team Champions to hit Matt with the 3-D for the win. After the match, Jeff Hardy continued to help Lita until he got her backstage. [wwf.com]

Ivory squared off against Lita. The Alliance diva quickly took control by hammering Lita’s head into the turnbuckle and then hitting a leg drop in the center of the ring. But Lita turned things around by dropping Ivory with a clothesline and a Russian leg sweep. But Lance Storm came down and grabbed Lita by the hair as Ivory distracted the referee. Matt Hardy rushed to Lita’s aid, but as he pulled Storm away, Lita’s throat snapped into the ring ropes! A startled Lita then fell victim to a pin from Ivory. [wwf.com]

11/08/01 Thursday Smackdown
 Backstage, Lita asked Matt Hardy if he would be her partner for a mixed tag match against Lance Storm and Ivory. He said he couldn't do it, since he had an Intercontinental Championship match against Test -- an opportunity he needed to take. Lita was disappointed, and Matt said he'd try to help.

Later as Lita was stretching backstage she was approached by Matt Hardy after losing the IC match. She asked if he was OK, and he said yes -- and then said he was ready to be her partner for the tag match. Lita said thanks, but she already had a partner -- Jeff Hardy!

During the match Jeff made a tag to Lita who came off the top rope with a hurricanrana on Storm. Ivory assaulted Lita with a back suplex while Jeff took Storm down outside the ring. Ivory received a clothesline in the corner from Lita who quickly followed up with a body slam. Lita then finished off her opponent with the moonsault from the top rope, getting the three count and the win! [wwf.com, owow.com]

11/12/01 Monday Night Raw
Five-time former WCW Champion Booker T and Federation Intercontinental Champion Test put their Federation Tag Team Championship on the line against the Hardy Boyz. The Hardy Boyz arrived at the ring with Lita and set out to bring the gold back to the Federation. But things didn't start out the way Team Xtreme would have liked. Booker T pounded on Jeff Hardy at the start of the match, then tagged in Test. Test battered Jeff, but Matt Hardy managed to tag in and turned momentum around. Matt hit a leg drop off the second turnbuckle and would have scored a pinfall on Test if Booker hadn't broken up the count. Soon after, Matt hit a Twist of Fate on Booker and Jeff followed with a Swanton Bomb! That would have ended things, but Test came in and landed a Big Boot. With Matt and Test trading blows outside of the ring, Lita hit a Litaranna on Booker T that dazed the champ enough for Jeff to roll Booker up and take the pin! After the match, Jeff Hardy celebrated with his newly won tag team championship on one arm and Lita in the other as a perplexed Matt Hardy viewed the scene. [wwf.com]

11/15/01 Thursday Smackdown
In six-man action, the Hardy Boyz and Edge -- accompanied by Lita -- took on the Dudley Boyz and Test, who were escorted to the ring by the Duchess of Dudleyville, Stacy Keibler. The match took place just three days before the Test-Edge and Dudleys-Hardys title-unification matches at Survivor Series. As the match began, the announcement was made that the winners of those respective matches will remain employed after Sunday, regardless of which side wins the "Winner Take All" match.

Edge picked up the win for his team, pinning D-Von after a spear. After the bout, Test drilled Edge in the face with a big boot. Lita knocked Stacy off the ring apron, but Stacy was caught by Matt Hardy! As Lita questioned what he was doing, Matt simply dropped Stacy to the ground! Then, despite Matt's warnings, Lita turned around, only to get a 3-D for her troubles! Bubba screamed, "See you in the cage!" as Matt checked on his girlfriend. Moments later, Matt checked on Lita backstage, and promised her he would never let her get hurt again. Then he kissed her, but rolled his eyes as he did so! [wwf.com]

William Regal was shown with Ivory and Ivory was asking him if this is really going to happen. Regal said that at Survivor Series, there's going to be a new Women's Champion. Three people from the WWF and three people from the Alliance will go at it in a six pack challenge. Lita, Trish and Jackie will be on the WWF side. On the Alliance side will be Ivory, Mighty Molly and a surprise guest. Ivory tried to get it out of Regal, and then she said that it doesn't matter, because she's going to be the Champion, anyway. 11/18/01 Survivor Series PPV - Six Pack Challenge For Women's Title
In the locker room, Lita asked Jeff if he thought that Matt was acting strange lately. Jeff attributed it to the pressure Team Xtreme was under. Matt walked in and asked what they were talking about. He said he was upset because his dream of holding a career as a Federation Superstar was on the line that evening. Matt and Jeff turned and left, and Lita bumped into Trish Stratus who was passing through. Both women wished each other luck in the six-woman match later that evening that would result in a new Federation Women’s Champion being crowned.

Later, Trish Stratus made her way to the ring, followed by Jackie, and this is a six pack challenge for the WWF Women's Championship! All five announced women came out, and the sixth woman is Jazz! Jazz got right in the ring and she went at it with Lita and she gave her a butterfly suplex and then Lita came back with a head scissors take down. Jazz made the tag to Molly and she got in the ring and Lita tagged Jackie into the match. Molly and Jackie competed in a test of strength and then Jackie took Molly down and pinned her for a two count. Jackie chopped Molly a couple of times and then Jackie took Molly down with a hip toss and then a drop kick. Molly made the tag to Ivory. Jackie and Ivory went at it and Jackie got a sunset flip on Ivory for a two count and Ivory countered into a pin of her own and both women countered many pins. Ivory gave Jackie a sling shot into the second rope and then Jackie made he tag to Trish. Trish took Ivory down and she gave her a slingshot into the second rope and then she gave her a flap jack. Molly gave Trish a shot and then Ivory gave Lita a cheap shot and then the three Alliance women got in the ring and triple teamed Trish.

Lita got in the ring to get them off of her and then Lita and Jackie gave Jazz the Poetry in Motion. Lita whipped Molly into the corner and then Jackie and Ivory went for the Poetry in Motion once again, but Jackie got up and gave Lita a hard clothesline. Molly came off the top rope, and Ivory hit the Poison Ivory on Trish. Lita hit the Twist of Fate on Ivory and then she went to the top rope and came off with the moonsault and a pin for a two count as Jazz and Molly broke up the pin. Lita knocked Molly and Jazz down with a double clothesline and then she tossed Molly to the outside of the ring. Jazz raked the eyes of Lita and then Lita took a back body drop to the outside of the ring by Trish. Jazz charged at Trish, but Trish ducked and pulled the ropes and Jazz fell to the outside of the ring. Lita and Matt Hardy made their way to the ring and Lita is up against Trish Stratus in a one on one match for the WWF Women's Championship! The match started off with a lock up and a side headlock by Trish. Lita pulled Trish down by the arm and then she speared her and pinned her for a two count. Trish whipped Lita off the ropes and Lita came back with a sunset flip for a two count. Trish then got Lita in a slingshot into the second rope and then she pinned Lita for a two count. Trish gave Lita a body slam. Lita rolled Trish up in a pin for a two count and then Lita knocked Trish down with a series of clotheslines.

Lita whipped Trish off the ropes and she gave her a flap jack and then she pinned Trish for a two count. Lita gave Trish a number of right hands down on the mat and then she backed her into the corner. Lita whipped Trish to the other corner and gave her a clothesline. Lita whipped Trish to the other corner and Trish kicked Lita in the chest to knock her down. Trish then went to the second rope for an elbow drop, but Lita was able to avoid it. Lita then went to the top rope and Trish got up and knocked her down to the outside of the ring and Matt Hardy helped Lita up and then Trish gave Lita a baseball slide and Matt got caught in the face. 11/22/01 Thursday Smackdown
Matt Hardy and Lita watched a replay of the cage match at Survivor Series in the locker room. Lita suddenly turned it off and said she was sick of looking at it. Matt complained that he didn't understand why Jeff took such a stupid risk when he could have easily won the match. Jeff walked in holding an ice pack on his neck. Jeff said he was sorry, but Matt cut him off and said the two should have won. Jeff said he was sorry and he made a mistake. Matt said that Jeff didn't make a mistake, he made a choice. He accused Jeff of being selfish and being a showboat. Matt said that Jeff made a very bad decision and Lita then asked Matt about the decisions he had made recently about their relationship. Lita said that Matt was acting like a different person. Lita said that sometimes there were more important things in life than being in the ring: things like family and being in love. With that, Lita abruptly turned and left. Matt and Jeff exchanged dirty looks before Matt took off after his girlfriend. [wwf.com]

11/26/01 Monday Night Raw
The first match on RAW was for the European Championship, as Christian defended against Jeff Hardy, who was accompanied to ringside by Lita. As the match began, J.R. informed fans that Jeff was a bit lightheaded coming into the match, still feeling the aftereffects of his Swanton Bomb from the top of the cage through a table at Survivor Series. Matt Hardy soon made his way to ringside, and argued with Lita that Jeff shouldn't be in the ring. Christian went to work on Jeff's head and neck, but Jeff battled back with a Twist of Fate. Matt screamed at him to go for the cover, but Jeff went up top. Jeff set up for the Swanton, but Christian rolled out of the ring. Matt got in the way, so as not to allow his brother to jump, and Christian knocked Matt into the post, knocking Jeff from the top. Christian then pinned Jeff to win the bout and retain his title.

A trainer checked on Jeff backstage, and Matt told his brother that he was stupid for even getting in the ring, and for taking unnecessary risks. Matt said he got involved because he cared about him and about the team. Jeff said that since they were kids, Matt was trying to control them, thinking he was smarter and better. Matt said there was no question that he was smarter. Lita tried to get involved, and Matt told his girlfriend to shut up! Lita said she thought Matt was in there because he cared about Jeff, but it was clear that all he cared about was himself. Lita then stormed out, and Jeff asked Matt who felt stupid now. 11/29/01 Thursday Smackdown
Jeff Hardy was getting dressed backstage when Lita walked in, saying she wanted to talk to him about Matt. She thought it was just relationship problems between her and Matt, but she'd seen the way Matt was treating Jeff, and said that Matt had problems.

She said she was also worried about Jeff, since he was competing after suffering a serious concussion at Survivor Series. As Jeff and Lita talked, Matt walked in and put his arm around the two, saying there was nothing to worry about. He said the Hardy Boyz were the most successful tandem in sports-entertainment history, and ran down a list of their accolades. Matt said he had earned the team a No. 1 contenders match for later in the night on SmackDown! Jeff asked who the match was against, and Matt said it was against Big Show and Kane! Matt seemed confident as he left the locker room, but Jeff and Lita seemed worried at the prospect of facing such a massive duo!

The Hardy Boyz -- accompanied by Lita -- took on Big Show and Kane. Lita went for the Litacanrana, but Kane simply caught her in mid-air and put her back on the top rope. Jeff accidentally knocked Lita from the top rope, and Matt and Jeff then went for the Poetry in Motion, but Kane knocked out Matt and pinned him, meaning that Big Show and Kane will meet the Dudley Boyz for the Tag Team Championship at Vengeance!

Moments later, Matt approached Jeff and Lita backstage and said it was all Jeff's fault that they lost. Jeff said that if Matt wanted a match at Vengeance so bad, then he had one -- against him! Jeff then stormed away, and Matt called his brother a sore loser. [wwf.com]

There is great debate going on to whether or not the WWF will have Lita and Matt Hardy go their separate ways. That is why the angle has dragged on for some time now. Some feel Lita would not be as popular if she was not associated with the Hardy's. [Amber A.]

Matt and Jeff Hardy continued their heated argument backstage. In their bickering, Matt whipped his hand out and knocked Lita to the ground! Matt accused Jeff of causing the accident. Lita stood up and joined the argument. Jeff stormed off and Matt asked why Lita was picking sides. Lita said she wasn't. Matt persisted and said that Lita should referee the match between himself and Jeff at Vengeance so she could prove that she wasn't on anyone's side. [wwf.com]

Matt Hardy was getting ready backstage when he was approached by Jeff. Jeff said he wanted to talk about Matt's match with RVD. He asked why Matt would tell him not to compete in those types of matches, and why Matt would want them to be a top tag team, and then Matt went ahead and scored a Hardcore Title match. Matt said it sounded like Jeff was jealous. Matt said it was a warm-up for Vengeance, and suggested that maybe Jeff should have a warm-up match of his own, considering his track record lately. Jeff said he was glad Matt was facing RVD, because then their match this Sunday could be for the Hardcore Title. Matt questioned Jeff's thinking that Matt's girlfriend, Lita, will count Matt's shoulders to the mat. Matt said that Lita saw things his way -- and Jeff said that if Lita saw things Matt's way, then where was she tonight? [wwf.com]

Monday (12/3), on WWF: RAW, it was announced that Lita would be the special guest referee for the Matt Hardy vs. Jeff Hardy match that's scheduled to take place at WWF: Vengeance this Sunday on Pay-Per-View. In a recent interview with Mike Fazioli, Lita stated that announcement was a shocker but she is ready to step into the ring as a referee. Lita then went on to state that she has never done a referee gig before and wishes to stay out of the way and call a clean match between both superstars. As many know, there have been a lot of heat on-air between the Hardy's and Lita realizes that they need to settle their differences. Lastly, Lita concluded by saying that she's thinking about "spicing" up her look for this Sunday's Pay-Per-View. After WWF: RAW, Lita was seen walking around backstage in a standard referee jersey (black and white) but Lita adds that she'll come up with something new. [Ray Kim]

12/09/01 Vengeance PPV
Lita was stretching backstage when Matt Hardy entered her locker room and said he knew this had been a tough time for her, and he knew she knew how much this meant to him. He said tonight was his opportunity to show he was the brains of the Hardy Boyz. Lita told Matt that as his girlfriend, she was always on his side. But as a WWF referee, she wouldn't take sides. Matt said that was fine, because Jeff wouldn't get the opportunity to pin his shoulders to the mat. Matt said after he won his match, maybe they should make it a Matt & Lita night, and put this all behind them.

As emotional as this battle of brothers was set to be, it was made all-the-more intense by Lita's role as guest referee. Jeff looked a bit hesitant at first, as did Lita. But Matt looked confident and focused. The two men traded several reversals and lock-ups in the early going, with Matt mocking his brother. Matt took control in the early-going, but Jeff battled his way back.

Eventually Matt went for a pin, but held onto the ropes for leverage, and Lita made him break it up! Jeff tried for a roll-up, but Matt kicked out. Matt continued the attack on his brother, but Jeff was soon up top again. But again Matt caught his brother, and went for the Twist of Fate from the top! But Jeff shoved Matt down and hit a stunning Swanton Bomb! Matt tried to get his foot on the ropes, but Jeff pulled it off, and Lita counted the pinfall, giving Jeff the win! Matt screamed at his girlfriend after the bout!

Later Lita went to apologize to Matt Hardy, saying she was terribly sorry about what had happened. He simply gave her a dirty look and left his locker room. [wwf.com]

12/10/01 Monday Night Raw
In the locker room, Lita pleaded for Matt to speak to her. She said that she loved him, but Matt ignored her at first. As she was walking away, he accused her of saying that just to make him feel guilty. He said that she and Jeff should try beating him to his face instead of doing so in a sneaky fashion. “Just like the Hardy Boyz, Lita, we’re breaking up!” Matt screamed before slamming the door. Lita began bawling and was comforted by Jeff when he walked in the room.

Matt Hardy came to the ring to face Jeff and Lita. Lita was obviously still upset. She got between the brothers when they faced off, but Matt shoved her aside and began pounding his brother. The two savagely beat each other back and forth. The brawl spread outside the ring and into the crowd. Once back inside the ring, Matt clotheslined Jeff and taunted Lita. A Whisper in the Wind leveled Matt and Jeff followed with a series of sharp blows to his brother’s head. Jeff went for the Twist of Fate but Matt countered and tossed Jeff from the ring! Lita climbed to the top turnbuckle and hit her ex-boyfriend with a Litacanrana! Jeff tried to follow with a Swanton Bomb, but Matt moved out of the way. Jeff tagged Lita in, but Matt simply overpowered her and took the pin. A heartbroken Lita cried and consoled Jeff as Matt left the arena. [wwf.com]

12/13/01 Thursday Smackdown
Lita was walking backstage when Test approached her. Test said that he understood what her and Matt Hardy were going through. He said he had his share of bad relationships. He then asked Lita if she wanted to go out with him, but she said she would rather be by herself right now. Appalled at her statement, Test asked Lita when she would ever have a chance to date a guy that looks as good as him. He said that he saw the way she looked at him, and that she was nothing but a tease. At this point, Jeff Hardy walked up and said that if he liked intimidating women so much, maybe he could try intimidating him in the ring on SmackDown!

Test took on Jeff Hardy, who was accompanied by Lita, in singles competition. At one point, Lita nailed Test with a Litacanrana when the ref’s back was turned. Jeff then went for a Swanton Bomb, but Test kicked referee Earl Hebner into the ropes, knocking Jeff off the top turnbuckle. Test delivered a big boot to a stunned Jeff’s face, but Hebner disqualified Test for touching an official. A furious Test knocked out Hebner, which prompted The Rock to run down and nail Test with a Rock Bottom!

Matt Hardy was playing poker with the APA backstage when Faarooq started asking Matt if he and Lita practiced her Litacanrana at home. Faarooq said he could practice with Lita all day long. Faarooq then asked Matt where Lita got all those thongs! A depressed Matt just stewed as Bradshaw and Faarooq continued to play cards.

A few minutes later Faarooq was still asking Matt questions about Lita, including if Lita was a natural redhead or not. Bradshaw told Faarooq that if he wanted to know if she was a natural redhead, he should ask Jeff Hardy. An outraged Matt jumped up and destroyed their office, telling Bradshaw that he would see him in the ring!

It was a short match as Matt hit a legdrop on Bradshaw from the second rope, but Bradshaw kicked out. Almost immediately, Bradshaw jumped up and nailed Matt with a Clothesline from Hell! Bradshaw then pinned the depressed Hardy for the win. [wwf.com]

12/17/01 Monday Night Raw
The Hardcore Championship was on the line as the Undertaker defended against Matt's brother, Jeff Hardy. Jeff was accompanied to ringside by Matt's ex-girlfriend, Lita. Taker attacked Jeff before the opening bell, and brutalized the North Carolina native. Taker screamed at Jeff, "You will respect me, boy!" With Taker on the outside, Jeff leapt from the top rope, but Taker caught him and knocked Jeff into the barricade, as Matt watched on from WWF New York.

The fight continued outside the ring, where Taker assaulted Jeff with a steel chair. Back in the ring, Taker made Lita watch as he continued to pound on Jeff. He soon nailed Jeff with the Last Ride, and Lita went up top for the hurricanrana -- but got right back down after the Taker turned around and stared her down! Taker then pinned Jeff for a successful title defense. After the bout, Lita checked on Jeff in the ring. Taker was set to ride off on his bike, but instead went back into the ring and chased Lita away.

Taker then carried Jeff to the stage, and gave him the Last Ride off the stage and through a table! At WWF New York, Matt Hardy couldn't believe it! Taker then grabbed Lita -- but she gave him a low blow! She tried to escape, but Taker hung onto her hair, and then tossed her from the stage! Again, Matt couldn't believe what he was seeing! The crowd booed the American Badass as two-thirds of Team Xtreme lay prone on the arena floor.

During the commercial break, Matt Hardy was on his cell phone frantically trying to get Lita's and Jeff's conditions. When he was unable to get their conditions quickly enough, he ran out of the entertainment complex. J.R. then informed viewers that Jeff and Lita had been taken to a local medical facility. 12/20/01 Thursday Smackdown
Undertaker headed to the ring, and as he did, he was attacked from behind by Matt, who smacked him with a kendo stick! The two men then met up for Taker's Hardcore Championship. Once Taker was able to regroup, he physically dominated Matt, and pinned him with the Last Ride to retain his title. After the bout, Taker was about to ride his bike out of the arema, but he thought twice about it and instead returned to the ring. There, he grabbed a steel chair, put it across Matt's throat, and slammed his neck down forcefully onto the chair! Matt clutched at his throat as Taker walked away coldly.

During the break, Matt was taken away on a stretcher, with paramedics paying special attention to Matt's neck. Taker approached him and told Matt to keep one thought in mind during his trip to the hospital -- "Was the bitch really worth it?" [wwf.com]
