01/08/06 New Years Revolution PPV - Albany, New York - Intercontinental Championship - Edge vs. Ric Flair Edge then clotheslined Flair over the top to the outside. Edge dived off the apron towards Flair, but Flair nailed him with a chop in mid-air. Flair crotched Edge on the barricade and then tossed Edge back inside. Flair nailed a knee drop and took over with rights and lefts in the corner. Flair continued the assault with chops before going up top. Edge went to cut him off but Flair thumbed the eye. Lita then tried to stop him but she got a thumb to the eye as well, and then Flair came off with a double sledge to the head for two! Flair nailed a chop block on Edge. Flair hit a knee breaker and then went for the Figure Four. Lita got on the apron and Flair wooed in her face. Flair then backdropped Edge to the outside over Lita, and then brought Lita into the ring! Flair locked in the Figure Four on Lita but then Edge came in and nailed him in the head with the Money in the Bank Briefcase! The referee calls for the bell! Edge hammered away with right hands on Flair, and Flair is a complete bloody mess. Edge nailed Flair hard in the head with the briefcase again, and Flair is unconscious. The crowd booed heavily as Edge looks very proud of what he has done to the Nature Boy. The referees checked on Flair as Lita and Edge made their way to the back. The final match of the PPV was the Elimination Chamber Match. In the final minutes Cena exploded out of nowhere with a double clothesline. Cena hit more clotheslines to both men and then a side slam to Carlito. The crowd are booing. Cena hit the five knuckle shuffle on Carlito and then went for the FU but Masters made the save. Masters tossed Cena to the steel and followed out. Masters tossed Cena into the steel chains but Cena blocked. Masters then dropped Cena with a DDT on the steel! Masters went to Carlito and helped him up. They both went after Cena and pulled him up and Cena is busted wide open. They slammed Cena into the steel chain and then got him back in the ring and hammered away at him. They gave Cena a double suplex and then perched him on the top rope before giving him a double back suplex off the top. Masters told Carlito to cover him, and Carlito told Masters to put him in the Master Lock. Masters did so and locked it in! Carlito then gave Masters a low blow and rolled him up to eliminate him, but then Cena rolled Carlito up! It’s over! Vince McMahon strolled out onstage and said for no one to go anywhere, and this is not over! He told them to raise the cage, and the reason this night is not over will come apparent. He congratulates John Cena on winning the WWE Championship. He said there is one more match to take place, and someone is cashing his Money in the Bank in! John Cena defends against EDGE! Edge made his way down to the ring, and he’s finally cashing in the Money in the Bank! The fans heavily chanted for Edge as he hammered away on Cena in the corner with right hands and then covered for two. Edge covered again for a two count. Edge kicked away at Cena and then signalled for the spear! Edge nails it! Edge covered and Cena kicked out! Edge can’t believe it as the bloody Cena tried to crawl to the ropes to make it to his feet. Edge signalled for another Spear and he nails it! NEW CHAMPION! EDGE! The crowd goes nuts as Edge clutches the WWE Championship! Edge and Lita hug in the middle of the ring, and this is awesome! We have a new WWE Champion here in Albany! Edge has reached the top of the mountain and clutched the belt before holding it high. Edge was near tears as Lita kissed him. Edge got on the announce table and celebrated his victory, and what a shocking end to this PPV! A bloody John Cena looked on as Edge and Lita continued their celebration! PowerWrestling.com 01/09/06 Monday Night Raw - Hershey, Pennsylvania - Championship Celebration Live Sex Show Lita said the new WWE Champion, Edge, well he sees things a little bit differently. Edge thought it would be a good idea if she talked to Mr. McMahon and after some oral persuasion he agreed that the rematch clause cannot be revoked until the Royal Rumble! She asked Cena if he had been online today yet, because Edge isn’t going to be doing any fighting tonight, but something else starting with the letter F. The only wrestling he’ll be doing is with her, in the middle of the ring. They are going to walk down there, take off their clothes and get in bed. And unlike Cena last night, Edge will last longer than two minutes. She said it will be her and Edge, and the WWE Title. She said unlike all the people in the building, Edge knows what to do in bed, and unlike Cena, Edge knows what to do in the ring, and that’s why he will beat Cena at the Royal Rumble, and you can bank on that! She said tonight, Edge will do what none of these boys in the building can get done, and that’s get laid. If you can’t see that, then you can’t see me! Cena called her a one woman hooker parade and there may be a lot of people in here that thinks he sucks, but everyone knows she does! He told Lita to tell Edge that he did make a wise choice cashing in last night, and he left Cena with no choice. He said at the Royal Rumble when he meets Edge, he will beat his ass! Cena said she can bank on that, bitch! Later in the evening we are taken to footage from WWE.com with Edge outside the arena from last night. Edge said he worked his entire life for this, and everyone doubted him, but they can’t anymore. Lita said it was time for a celebration, and everyone knows about their hot, torrid sex. Edge said he will celebrate it his way, and said they are going to have live, torrid sex in the ring live on RAW. He said he is the champ and calls the shots. Lita went to kiss him and he said save it for tomorrow as they got in their car and left. A few minutes later a limo is shown pulling up to the arena, and out came Edge, the Rated R Superstar and WWE Champion! All of the people who like to think they can predict what can happen in the ring, he outsmarted all of them. In the most unpredictable move in the history of the business, he cashed in his Money in the Bank after the Elimination Chamber. He fooled them all, including the former WWE Champion John Cena. He said they just about killed themselves in the Chamber last night, and why bother. In this industry, you don’t have to be the biggest, the strongest or the toughest, but you do have to be the smartest. He said he saw his opportunity, he bided his time, just like he was with his lovely lady, Lita. He said he saw what he wanted, and like a thief in the night, he saw what he wanted, and took everything he wanted. He said last night he took what he wanted most, more than anything else in the world, the WWE Championship. He said his name looks so good on it, but before they move on, he would like to reminisce about his past accomplishments in the WWE. A video package aired looking at the history of Edge in the WWE. It was a really good video package, ending with his WWE Championship win last night at New Years Revolution. Edge said after watching that, he has to admit that he is awesome. He said he’s done some serious business in the WWE, and he said that he and Lita have saved themselves for tonight, because the Rated R Superstar wanted to celebrate his way with live, torrid, passionate sex on RAW. Edge said it’s time to let the celebrations begin. Some music hit, and the lights dimmed. Edge took off his boots and socks and then Lita sat on the bed and Edge took off her boots. Edge unbuttoned Lita’s top revealing her bra. Lita removed Edge’s jacket and then his tee-shirt. Edge then took off Lita’s skirt and she is now in her bra and panties. He said it takes blood, sweat and tears, and years of hard work to prove you are championship quality. Flair said Edge was a bad champion and is dead in the bed! Flair took off his jacket and said once again the Nature Boy has to show him how to do it! Flair started to strut down to the ring as Edge started to get dressed. Flair nailed Edge with right hands and chops and Edge bailed. Flair followed out and Edge nailed him with the steel chair! Edge started to take apart the announce table and Flair is busted. Edge got Flair on the announce table, and slammed him into the steel chair which was laying on it. Edge then grabbed another chair and gave him a conchairto on the announce table! The crowd booed and John Cena exploded through the crowd and went to work on Edge with right hands. Edge bailed to the back with his belt and Lita is still in the bed, naked. Edge looked on from the aisle as Cena took off his shirt. Cena saw Lita and she went under the covers. Cena peeked under there and laughed and said not bad. The crowd chanted heavily for Cena as he pulled off the covers, and she has a tee-shirt on now. Cena picked up Lita to give her the FU and told Edge to get in the ring. He said that there is someone in the back that has gold on him. All of a sudden, Kurt Angle's music hit and out he came for the dark match main event. It ended with Edge interfering, running into the ring and spearing Cena so Angle was DQ'ed. Edge went back up the ramp. Angle gave Cena the Angle Slam and leaves. Angle said that was funny, but he was listening to the crowd and he thinks they were referring to Lita! After some more small talk Edge went to nail Angle, but Angle gave him a German Suplex and Edge bailed to the outside! To end the final match of the evening, Edge grabbed a chair and nailed Flair hard in the head with it and Flair tumbled to the outside. Edge set up the ladder and started to climb. Flair comes back in and Edge has his hand on the belt. Flair tipped the ladder and Edge went crashing over the ropes through a table on the outside! Holy crap! Flair set up the ladder in the ring and started to climb! Flair is steps away but Lita is in. Lita grabs Flair and pulls him down and hammered at him. Flair then put her in the Figure Four! The referee got rid of Lita and Edge is still down on the outside. Flair started to climb the ladder again as his daughter looked on from ringside. Edge is back up and starts to climb the ladder too. Edge and Flair trade right hands and Flair falls off. Edge reaches up and retains his gold. Edge nailed the Spear on Flair and then grabbed two chairs. Edge went for the conchairto on Flair again but then Cena hit the ring! Cena speared Edge down and hammered him with right hands. Cena hit rights and lefts in the corner and Lita has a chair but Cena scares her off. Cena grabbed a chair and went nuts as Edge and Lita bailed up the aisle. PowerWrestling.com 01/23/06 Monday Night Raw - Charlotte, North Carolina - Edge and Chris Masters vs. John Cena and Ric Flair Cena made his way out to the stage with a mic in hand. Cena said do you realized what just happened, this is big. He congratulated Edge. That movie trailer was awesome, very good, well done. But what the people don’t know is that the actual movie is unbelievable. He said he will give everyone a review of “To The Edge” right here. He said this is a classic. Boy meets hoe. She’s not just a regular hoe, she’s a magical red-headed hoe. She changes the boys life and he wins money in the bank and the WWE Title. The boy has it all, and wants to make his hoe happy. She needs food he gets her potatoes from IdaHO, he traces her heritage and finds out she is half NavaHO. The boy and the ho have it all. He said the boy is on top, and the boy goes to Miami, the Royal Rumble. The single biggest moment in the boys professional career, the lights, the world, everyone is watching, and he stands in the middle of the ring and proceeds to take the worst ass kicking of his life. Show said Edge is lucky that he doesn’t beat his ass right now, and the reason he isn’t is because he wants to win the Rumble and make it to WrestleMania to face the champion. As far as Edge and Lita, there’s an old saying that holds true, pimps up, ho’s down! Later backstage, Edge and Lita are shown and they are talking to someone. Edge said it wouldn’t matter about Cena because with him, they’d win. He’s talking to the Game! Triple H pondered it for a while, and said he’d think about it. Edge and Lita looked pleased. After another match, Edge and Lita are shown and Edge said he isn’t satisfied with who he will have to team with. Lita said he would satisfy him, and then there was a knock at the door and Edge’s face lit up. He said why didn’t he think of him, and now everyone is satisfied, but who could it be?! The music of Edge is playing in the arena and he’s in the ring as the WWE Champion with Lita, and we’re about to find out who his partner is, and it’s none other than Chris Masters! John Cena then made his way to the ring and he got on the mic and said he has a partner too, and his partner is from right here in Charlotte, his partner is the sixteen time World Heavyweight Champion, his champion is the Nature Boy Ric Flair! Flair made a tag to Cena and Edge tagged in Masters. Cena hit a clothesline, and then another. Cena hit a back body drop and then tossed Edge in the ring and hit him with a clothesline and a flying shoulder. Cena hit a side slam on Masters and then went for the FU on Edge but Lita is on the apron and pulled him out. Masters then nailed Cena from behind and went for the Master Lock but Flair came in with a chop block and then Cena hit the FU and locked in the STFU for the win! PowerWrestling.com 01/29/06 Royal Rumble PPV - Miami, Florida - John Cena vs. Edge - WWE Championship Match Cena and Edge locked up and Edge backed Cena to the corner and gave him a knee to the gut. Edge sent Cena to the corner but Cena came back with a clothesline and then went for a baseball slide on Edge who was outside, but Edge blocked and pulled Cena out and dropped him with a right hand. Back in the ring, and Edge hit a drop toe hold sending Cena head first to the middle buckle. Edge bails to the outside and Cena follows out sending him head first into the ring steps. Edge put Lita in front of him and then shoved her into Cena. Edge then poked the eyes and hit a spear right into a ring steps! Edge nailed a baseball slide on Cena sending him over the barricade to ringside. Cena made it back in at the count of nine and then Edge unloaded with stomps to the former champion. Edge continued his assault with knees to the body of Cena and then mocked him. Edge slapped Cena around until Cena came back with right hands but then Edge hit a spinning heel kick for a two count. Edge locked in a rear bear hug on Cena, working the ribs, but Cena elbowed out and then Edge hit a vertical suplex. Cena hit some right hands and then Edge raked the eyes. Edge hit a standing dropkick on Cena and then a forearm shot sending Cena outside. Edge follows out and whipped Cena into the ring steps. Edge dropped Cena over the barricade and then tossed him back into the ring. Edge went up top and hit a missile dropkick and covered for a two count. Edge covered again but again Cena kicked out. Cena rallied with right hands but then Edge levelled him with a clothesline. Edge worked over Cena in the corner and then perched him on the top rope. Edge went up too but Cena threw him off and then went for a leg drop from the top but Edge moved and then covered but Cena got his boot on the rope. Edge hit a series of left jabs to Cena and then Edge went for an up and under in the corner and Cena caught him and went for the FU but Edge raked the eyes and rolled Cena up for two and then nailed Cena with a front kick! Edge went up top and nailed a cross body but Cena rolled through for a two count. Cena hit some right hands and then Edge caught him in a sleeper before going into a rear naked choke with a body scissors. Cena picked Edge up while still in the hold but Edge sent him to the corner and sent for the Spear but Cena moved and then nailed Edge with a DDT! Cena hit a running shoulder and then a pair of clotheslines followed by a sit out belly to back powerbomb. Cena hit the Five Knuckle Shuffle and Lita is on the apron. Cena makes the cover but the referee is distracted. Cena grabs Lita and then Edge charges at Cena but he moves and knocks Lita off the apron! Cena hits the FU on Edge and then locks in the STFU on Edge and Edge is forced to tap out! Cena celebrated his huge victory and the new WWE Champion puts his title around his neck and the champ is here once again! Edge is caught backstage by Todd Grisham and he says he will knock his face off! Todd asks Lita her thoughts and she said how dare he come in here and ask this stuff right now. Hacksaw Jim Duggan shows up and says he’s here on behalf of John Cena and has one thing to say to her, “HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!” PowerWrestling.com 01/30/06 Monday Night Raw - Orlando, Florida - Edge vs. John Cena - WWE Championship Match To finish the match Cena went for the FU but Edge fought out and sent Cena crashing into the referee! Edge gave Cena a low blow before setting up for the Spear! Edge scored with the Spear and covered but the referee is still down! Lita ran over and grabbed the WWE Title and got in the ring with it but Cena picked Edge up for the FU. Lita then nailed Cena with the belt but it didn’t have much effect and Edge gets the win by disqualification and this makes no sense? Winner by disqualification, Edge, but still WWE Champion, John Cena. Cena can’t believe he was disqualified because it was Lita who hit Cena with the belt. We go to the replay and it was Edge that she hit with the belt, but why! Edge gets the DQ win as RAW goes off the air! PowerWrestling.com 02/06/06 Monday Night Raw - Atlanta, Georgia - Edge and Lita vs. John Cena and Maria - Mixed Tag Team Lita said she will handle this one. Lita said she will make this real easy, take that little microphone and her pretty little lips and announce her man as the future WWE Champion. Maria announced Edge as the future WWE Champion and the crowd booed. The music of Hacksaw Jim Duggan then hit out of nowhere! Duggan made his way down to the ring with his 2X4 and took a mic. Duggan told Edge to take it easy tough guy! He said he heard Vince McMahon was looking for a special referee for the title match next week with John Cena, and who better to call it right down the middle than Hacksaw Jim Duggan! USA! USA! Edge told everyone to shut up and what the hell does the USA have to do with this? He said for the past few weeks he’s been trying to make his girlfriends life a living hell. Duggan said all he did was call her a…Edge cut him off, and Duggan said OK, he won’t say nothing. On second thought, Lita’s a HOOOOOO! Edge nailed Duggan from behind and stomped away at him. Edge picked up the 2X4 and cracked Duggan in the back with it, sending him to the outside of the ring. Lita then started pointing at Maria for laughing and slapped her across the face. Lita tossed Maria around the ring by her hair and then Edge set up for the Spear, but John Cena hit the ring and tackled Edge down. Cena cleaned house and the crowd went nuts as Edge and Lita made their way to the back. Edge and Lita are backstage with Vince McMahon. McMahon confirmed that there will be a special referee next week, and Edge suggested Lita. Vince questioned that she would be biased in his favour, and then Lita went into slut mode. Vince asked if Edge is encouraging his girlfriend to come onto him? He asked what kind of a man Edge is, and said it is pretty admirable, meaning he’d do anything to win the WWE Championship. He said he will allow Edge a chance to pick the special referee next week, so tonight Edge and Lita will face Maria and John Cena! John Cena is shown getting ready backstage, and Maria walked in looking worried. She said that she can’t do it, Lita smacked her and she almost got speared! Cena told her to calm down and relax, and Maria wouldn’t shut up. Cena made out with her to shut her up, which worked. Cena slapped her ass and said he’ll see her out there. The music of Edge hit in the arena as he made his way to the ring with Lita, and they will be facing WWE Champion John Cena and Maria here tonight, with the winner to name the special guest referee for next week’s WWE Championship Match as John Cena defends against Edge! Edge went to attack Cena but Cena nailed him with a series of right hands and then sent him hard to the buckle before hitting a Fisherman’s Suplex for two. Edge came back sending Cena hard into the ring post, shoulder first. Edge grabbed Maria and made her tag Cena and then he hit a DDT on Cena. Edge threw Cena to the outside and followed out, sending him into the ring steps. Edge tagged in Lita and then held the ropes open for Maria to get in the ring. Lita tossed Maria into the ring by her hair and tossed her around. Lita slapped Maria on the behind and then choked her over the bottom rope and Edge got in her face. Lita gave Maria a knee to the mid section and then took her down with a Russian leg sweep. Lita set up for a spear but Maria moved and tagged Cena! Cena hit a series of clotheslines and then a flying shoulder. Cena hit the side slam and then went for the Five Knuckle Shuffle. Lita distracted Cena and then Edge grabbed him from behind and Lita went for a huricanrana from the top but Cena moved and Lita nailed it on Edge! Cena is left in the ring with Lita and she took off her top and flashed her bra at Cena. Edge came from behind and went for a spear but Cena moved and Edge nailed Lita! Cena tossed Edge to the outside and Maria tagged herself in and covered Lita for the win! Cena and Maria celebrated, and Cena gets to choose the special referee for next week! Cena got on the mic and says he found somebody, they are in town and he saw them in the back and he already asked and they accepted. He said he isn’t going to make anyone wait and he’ll let us know right now! He said this is the perfect person just in case next week Edge is feeling a little Hardcore! Mick Foley’s music then hit and he made his way down to the ring! Edge looked pissed off as Foley got in the ring with Cena and Maria, and next week, Cena defends his Championship against Edge with Foley as the guest referee! PowerWrestling.com 02/16/06 Thursday Night Raw - Greensboro, North Carolina - Edge vs. John Cena Championship Match The music of Mick Foley hit in the arena as he made his way to the ring as the special guest referee for this WWE Championship Match between Edge and John Cena. After commercial break, Edge made his way down to the ring with Lita as the challenger, followed by WWE Champion John Cena. Cena and Edge locked up and jockeyed for position. Cena grabbed a side headlock and then Edge sent him to the ropes but he came back with a shoulder block for one. Cena sent Edge hard to the corner and then hit a side slam for two. Cena locked in a rear chin lock but Edge fought out. Cena sent Edge to the ropes but Edge bailed to the outside and Lita checked on him as we go to commercial. Edge perched Cena on the top rope and hit some right hands before going for a superplex but Cena knocked Edge down. Edge hit another right hand and went for the superplex again but Cena again knocked him down and hit a splash from the top for two. Cena hit a knee to the head and then some right hands and elbows in the corner. Cena hit a snap suplex for two but then Edge sent Cena head first to the middle turnbuckle. Lita removed the turnbuckle pad in the corner but Foley catches her. Lita tied it back on and then Foley ejected her from the match! Cena waved bye to her and Edge looked pissed as we go to commercial. Cena locked in the STFU on Edge and he started to tap but Lita came down to the ring and attacked Cena. Cena cornered Lita but Edge attacked him from behind and then Lita grabbed the WWE Title belt and gave it to Edge. Edge nailed Cena in the skull with the belt and fell into a cover and then Lita got Foley back into the ring. Edge covered and Foley counted but Cena kicked out. Edge went up top and dove off but Cena caught him and threw him onto his shoulder for the FU and the victory. Edge is pissed and got in Foley’s face, and Lita came from behind him and gave him a low blow. Edge then gave Foley the spear and screamed that Foley cost him the match as we go off the air. 02/20/06 Monday Night Raw - Trenton, New Jersey - Hacksaw Jim Duggan vs. Edge Duggan put Edge down with a clothesline and whipped him to the buckle where he mounted the Rated-R Superstar and delivered 10 shots to the head of Edge. Duggan then went down for his 3-point stance clothesline, but Lita grabbed his ankle to distract him. As he turned back to face Edge, Duggan was nailed with a spear and was pinned for the 3-count. Edge took Duggan's 2x4 and nailed him between the eyes, sending a message to Mick Foley. Edge then asked Foley if he saw what happened to Duggan. Edge promised that was nothing compared to what will happen to him since he cost him the chance to walk into WrestleMania as Champion. Edge then told Foley to listen carefully since he only had one ear -- Mick Foley vs Edge at WrestleMania! He gave Foley one week to reply or else he'll track him down and beat him in front of his own family. PowerWrestling.com 02/27/06 Monday Night Raw - Washington, DC - Edge told the crowd to shut up as they chanted for Foley, and said if he’s the Rated R Superstar, then Foley’s Rated O, for overrated. Edge said Foley won’t be remember for his title wins, he’ll be remembered for having his ear ripped off, being thrown off the Hell in a Cell and showing up in McMahon’s hospital room with a sock puppet. Edge called Foley pathetic, and that he has a lot to prove because he’s never won at WrestleMania! Edge said he’s had his count out’s and disqualification’s and dumpster matches, but he’s never had that classic legend making Mania performance that Foley craves! Edge said he’s never lost at WrestleMania, triangles ladder matches, TLC matches, he won in his hometown of Toronto, but that’s okay, tuck your tail between your legs because if Foley went against Edge at WrestleMania, he’d lose. Foley said Edge is right, Edge is younger and in better shape, and apparently he cares more about him than he does about Edge. Foley said he didn’t have one defining WrestleMania moment, so while he rejects the offer for a wrestling match at WrestleMania, but he’d like to challenge him to a match with no rules, no disqualifications and no excuses! Lita kicked Maria in the back and then took her down yet again. Maria came out of nowhere with a rollup for two, but then Lita nailed her in the back and took her down again. Lita stood on the back of Maria and then pulled her by the hair. Lita nailed some right hands as the crowd yelled “hooooo” towards Lita. Lita tossed Maria around some more but then ate a boot on the corner charge. Maria went for a clothesline but then Lita kicked her in the gut and hit a sick DDT for the win. Lita wasn’t finished and held Maria up and Edge went for the Spear on her but Maria bailed and then Mick Foley hit the ring and he and Edge traded right hands. Lita got on Foley’s back and he got her down and then walked right into a Spear from Edge! Edge grabbed two chairs and whacked Foley in the back with one. Edge then gave Foley a one man conchairto and took the mic and said about that challenge for a Hardcore Match at WrestleMania…he accepts! Edge and Lita knelt over the fallen Foley looking very pleased. PowerWrestling.com 03/18/06 WWE Saturday Night's Main Event - Detroit, Michigan - The Cutting Edge Foley came to the ring with a bag. Edge lit a table on fire in the center of the ring. They put it out and Foley attacked Edge. He tied up Edge upside down and did the running knee in the corner. Foley poured a ton of thumbtacks in the ring. He grabbed Edge but Lita interfered. Edge slammed Foley facefirst into the tacks. Foley sat up, old school Cactus Jack smile, with his face full of thumbtacks smiling. He grabbed a chair and attacked Edge in the aisle. Foley hit a neckbreaker on the steel ramp. Foley placed a chair under Edge's face and hit him with a Conchairto, giving him a receipt for Raw. Jim Ross said the old Mick Foley has been rejuvenated somewhat. Lita cautiously got into the ring and said for Mick to settle down. She said this is very important and told the fans to keep their comments to themselves, as they chanted “Hoooo!” at her. She said that Mick proved his point, and they get it. After giving Edge the conchairto, he’s still in Detroit, he can’t even fly, he has like vertigo and stuff. She said she needs to speak to the old Mick Foley, the kind and compassionate Mick Foley; she’s very fond of the old Mick Foley. Lita said she just wants him to hear her out. She said Edge has a suggestion and she thinks it’s great. Edge thinks they should call off the Hardcore Match at WrestleMania, but he has a better idea, how about they go out there and have a wrestling match. She knows it’s not his thing, but this could be his WrestleMania moment. All the critics that said Mick is nothing more than a glorified stuntman go out there and prove them wrong. She said to go out there and make his kids proud and that he can wrestle without the thumbtacks, without the barbwire. Foley said that on Saturday night, Edge called him out on his schtick, and tonight he will call out Edge on his. Foley said he thinks Lita is out here to distract him so Edge can take advantage; it’s time to slap him! Lita slapped Foley a couple of times and then Edge hit the ring but Foley was ready for him. Lita went to give Foley a low blow but Foley stopped her and then slapped in the Mandible Claw on her! Edge stood right in front of him as he did it and he was too gutless to stop it! PowerWrestling.com 04/02/06 WrestleMania 22 PPV - Chicago, Illinois - Mick Foley vs. Edge - Hardcore Match We are underway and Foley nailed Edge with right hands in the corner and then hit the double arm bulldog sending Edge into the canvas. Foley tied Edge in the tree of woe and then dived at him with a elbow to the face. Edge came back with a clothesline on Foley and Lita tossed in a cookie sheet and Edge nailed Foley hard in the head with it, twice. Edge then nailed Foley with a larger cookie sheet and Foley dropped like a fly. Edge slammed a sign into the face of Foley, and then charged at Foley with the spear! Edge connected but Edge seems to be hurt worse then Foley, and then Foley pulled off his shirt and he’s covered in barbwire! Edge’s shoulder is bleeding as Foley cut the wire off with wire cutters and nailed Edge with it. Foley drove the wire into the bare body of Edge. Edge got tied up in the ropes and Foley went to the outside and looked under the ring steps and pulled out the baseball bat covered in barbwire! Foley got back in the ring and Lita jumped on his back but Foley ran right into Edge with the Cactus Clothesline and all three of them toppled to the outside and Foley covered for two. Foley hit a running neckbreaker on Edge on the outside for another two and then nailed Edge with a series of right hands up against the ring steps, and then he charged at Edge but Edge gave him a hip toss right into the steel steps! Edge nailed right hands and then whipped Foley knee first into the steps and Foley went flying. Edge tossed Foley back into the ring and grabbed a steel chair. Edge gave Foley a baseball slide to send him outside and then looked under the ring and it’s table time. Edge set up the table and laid Foley on it. Edge headed up top and Foley rolled off the table so Edge went back down to work on him some more, and slammed him back of the head first into the steel ramp which made a sick noise. Back in the ring and Edge has lighter fluid! Edge covered Foley in the fluid and Foley tried to fight back with right hands and then levelled him with the stump puller piledriver for a two count. Foley grabbed the cookie sheet and put it under the head of Edge and then grabbed the steel chair and went for a conchairto but he was distracted by Lita and Edge nailed him with a DDT onto the chair. Edge grabbed the barbwire bat and nailed Foley in the mid section with it, and then the back. Edge then nailed Foley right between the eyes and Foley is busted. Edge ripped into the head of Foley with the barbwire and then gave him a bulldog right into the damn thing for two! Edge went to the outside and looked under the ring steps where the barbwire bat was hidden, and then pulled out a bag of thumbtacks and scattered them all over the ring. Edge gave Foley some right hands in the corner and went to slam Foley into the tacks but Foley reversed with a back suplex and Edge’s back is covered in tacks! Foley then pulled out Mr. Socko and wrapped him in barbwire and shoved him down the gullet of Edge! Lita came in and she was given some of the same and she’s bleeding the chin. Foley grabbed the barbwire bat and nailed Edge in the gut with it and then in the back! Foley hit Edge right between the eyes with the bat and Edge is busted. Foley drove the barbwire bat right into the head of Edge and then started laughing. Foley wrenched the barbwire across the forehead of Edge, and then he grabbed the lighter fluid and went over to the table that was set up earlier. Foley covered it in fluid and then Lita came from nowhere and hit Foley in the knee with the barbwire bat! Lita covered the table in fluid and then set it alight and then Edge spears Foley off the apron through the flaming table! Holy shit! Edge crawled over and covered for the win! The bloody Edge was helped to the back by Lita as Foley pulled himself to his feet and he’s looks quite shaken. Foley gets a standing ovation as he makes his way to the back, and Foley looks quite pleased and maybe he has his defining WrestleMania moment. PowerWrestling.com 06/11/06 One Night Stand PPV - New York City, New York - Mick Foley, Edge and Lita vs. Tommy Dreamer, Terry Funk and Beulah McGillicutty Edge and Dreamer kicked things off and Dreamer grabbed a side headlock and then a shoulder block. Dreamer with a side headlock takedown but missed an elbow drop and then avoided an enziguri. Foley tagged in and he wants Funk. The fans chanted “Terry, Terry!” as Funk tagged in. Funk slapped at Foley and Foley backed off and says this wasn’t a good idea and he doesn’t want to be here. Foley got on the apron but then grabbed Funk and took him to the outside. Dreamer tossed Edge to the outside and things are breaking down. Funk tossed a chair onto the head of Foley and Dreamer spat beer all over Edge. Funk slapped and punched Foley on the outside and Dreamer has his trash can and pulled out a street sign and nailed Edge. Dreamer tossed the can into the ring and nailed Foley in the head with the sign. Funk nailed Edge in the head with the trash can and then held it in front of Foley’s head and Dreamer hit a baseball slide into the can and Foley sending him outside. Edge was sent in to the ring post but then Edge came back with a shot to Dreamer with the street sign. Foley is hammering at Funk on the outside and fought up the aisle with him. Foley sent Funk into the guardrail and into the crowd. We have a ladder in the ring and Edge nailed Dreamer in the head with it. Edge set the ladder up in the corner and sent for the spear on Dreamer, but Dreamer hit a hip toss on Edge into the ladder. Foley was sent into the ring steps by Funk. Funk has the ladder around his head and is swinging it around the ring at Foley and Edge. Dreamer and Funk set up the ladder in the corner and Funk began to climb. Edge is back up and nailed Dreamer and then knocked over the ladder with Funk on it, sending him crashing to the mat. Dreamer went for the Dreamer Driver on Edge but Lita came in and gave Dreamer a low blow. Edge and Foley looked under the ring and pulled out a sheet of ply wood. They then pulled out another sheet and it’s covered in barbwire. They slid it into the ring and then slammed it right into Dreamer. They pulled it off and Dreamer’s ear is caught in the wire. They picked it up again but Funk grabbed their ankles and it fell on both Edge and Foley. Funk hammered away at Foley and Dreamer has the barbwire board and sets it up in the corner. Foley and Dreamer sent Foley face first into the barbwire but he puts the breaks on. Funk and Dreamer then nailed a series of right hands and then slammed him back first into the board and Foley’s all caught up in it. Edge gave Dreamer an atomic drop on the guardrail on the outside. Foley comes back tossing the board at Funk and Lita then goes under the ring and pulls out a circle of barbwire. Foley wraps it around his forearm and Funk is still all caught up in the barbwire as Foley hit a first drop on Funk with the barbwire. Funk is busted open. Foley sliced the barbwire into the forehead of Terry Funk and he is a crimson mask. A “you sick fuck” chant started up as Edge choked Funk in the corner. Funk is screaming about his eye as trainers came out to take him to the back. Edge nailed Dreamer and he is left all alone here. Foley has a barbwire baseball bat and nailed Dreamer in the back with it. Lita is now in the ring and they held the bat over Dreamer’s balls and Lita hit a leg drop onto it. Beulah looks concerned on the apron. A “we want Sandman” chant started up as Foley pulled out socko. Foley rammed it down the gullet of Beulah! Dreamer came back with right hands on Foley to break it up but Edge nailed him from behind. Foley then locked in the Mandible Claw on Dreamer and Edge hit the spear. Foley told him to cover but Edge isn’t ready. They have Beulah trapped in the corner and Edge grabs her by the hair. Funk is coming back out bandaged up with a 2X4 covered in barbwire. Foley and Edge await him and then Dreamer comes from behind with two low blows. Funk gets in the ring as Beulah chases off Lita. Funk nails Foley with the 2X4 and then nailed Edge in the gut and back. Funk then sets the damn thing on fire and nails Foley in the gut and back, and then off the apron through the barbwire board, and Foley is on fire! They extinguish Foley and then Edge knocks Funk off the apron onto the board. Dreamer is back in and nails a DDT on Edge. Dreamer wrapped Edge’s throat and head in barbwire and Lita comes in the for the save but Beulah tackles her down! Catfight! Dreamer grabs Lita and nails the Dreamer Driver. Edge is back up and hits the edgeomatic with the barbwire around the neck of Dreamer. Edge then nailed Beulah with a spear! Edge covered her for the win and pinned her as if he was nailing her. Edge and Lita pulled Foley off the barbwire on the outside. Dreamer checks on Beulah as Funk is a bloody mess in the barbwire on the outside. Dreamer picks her up and gets a standing ovation. Funk is screaming to be cut out of the barbwire. Lita chokes Torrie on the bottom rope and hits more shots to the face. Lita taunts her and Torrie springs up and slaps Lita. Torrie follows with a slam, two clotheslines, and a dropkick. Torrie whips her to the corner and hits another clothesline. Torrie pulls up her tights for the stinkface and Lita pulls down the referee, who gets the stinkface. Lita charges and hits a DDT followed by a pin and the win. PowerWrestling.com 07/10/06 Monday Night Raw - Sioux City, Iowa After Cena's match with Shelton Benjamin, Cena dives over the Rated R Announce Table and he slams Edge’s head into the table. Cena rolls Edge into the ring but Lita holds Cena’s leg. Edge punches Cena. Edge continues the attack with more punches and forearms. Edge hits the Impaler DDT and then he sets up for and hits a spear. Edge gets on the mic and he says that he would rather be anywhere but the arena so they are going to go to their hotel to watch the rest of the show. He says that he will see Cena on Saturday night. We go to the hotel where Edge and Lita are at the front desk for their suite. Edge is given some bad news that his room is not ready. He is told that he can go to the bar. Edge asks if they get USA Network because he has some business to do. Edge tells Lita to get a drink and wait for him. After Lita leaves, Edge insults the man at the front desk as we go to commercial. Room service shows up and Edge has some complaints but he says the food looks good. Edge says that they need some champagne for the celebration. He gives them three minutes to get it. We go to commercial. Edge and Lita are eating and there is a knock at their door. From out of nowhere, John Cena enters the room and he attacks Edge and throws him across the table and then punches him and then he feeds the champ. Cena throws Edge into the lamp and then he picks up the title belt. Cena hits Edge with the title belt and then he drops it on top of Edge. Cena rings the bell before he leaves. PowerWrestling.com 08/07/06 Monday Night Raw - Memphis, Tennessee - Trish Stratus vs. Mickie James Trish and Mickie locked up and then the music of Edge hit out nowhere as he made his way down to the ring as the WWE Champion, with Lita. Edge said to stop the damn match, and stop the show. He is sick of taking a back seat. He is the WWE Champion, so Mickie hit the bricks, this match is officially over. Edge said as of right now, he is taking over RAW. He said he wants Trish to stay and hear this. He wants the world to hear that he is a two time WWE Champion, and he is sick of getting no respect around here. Do the people think it’s fair that he has to defend the title against Cena at SummerSlam, in his hometown of Boston? They must think it’s fair that if he gets disqualified, he will lose the title. Edge said it is not fair. He has to put up with more crap than any champion in the history of the WWE and he is sick of it. Let’s take a look at the SummerSlam promotional poster…the poster appears on the Tron and it has DX holding hot dogs, and look, it has the challenger, John Cena, and of course, he’s looking like a complete idiot. Even Trish is on the poster, and Batista is even on there, just in case he gets injured again. Edge thought surely they would make it up to him, and he’d be on the cover of the new WWE magazine. He heard a rumor that it was someone from Toronto and blonde. We see the magazine, and Trish is on the cover. Edge said he has been bypassed by someone who hasn’t won a match in a year, but unlike Trish, he is a winner and he will prove it at SummerSlam when he beats Cena. Lita got the mic and said that maybe Edge’s problem is having to take a back seat to a no talent slut like Trish. Lita said she wanted to remove the trash from the ring. Trish nailed Lita and then Edge grabbed her. Lita then hit a spear on Trish and laughed. Edge then set up for the a spear on Trish but Carlito hit the ring and nailed Edge with right hands. Carlito kicked Edge out of the ring and Lita threw Trish into Carlito. Edge then got back in the ring and nailed Carlito with the spear. Trish is backstage with Carlito and she is pissed. Carlito told her to relax. Trish said she is going to whoop Lita. Trish then planted a huge kiss on Carlito and he looked a little confused, and then smiled as Trish stormed off. Edge and Lita vs. Carlito and Trish Stratus 08/09/06 Internet News - Lita May Not Renew According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, another Diva who is also likely to be parting ways with the company is Amy "Lita" Dumas. Her contract is set to expire in a couple of months, and there are no negotations at this point about renewing. It is widely expected that Dumas will end her long tenure with WWE after her contract expires, and pursue a career in acting. Lita was first seen on WWE television appearing as Essa Rios' valet. Mickie fought out and then nailed a flying forearm, and then a back elbow in the corner. Mickie scored with the Mickcanrana out of the corner, and then nailed a clothesline for a near fall. Lita raked the eyes and then went for the DDT but Mickie held the top rope to block it. Mickie covered and used the ropes for leverage but Edge knocked her off. Lita then rolled Mickie up and used the ropes but the referee caught it. Mickie then got a roll up with a bridge for a near fall. Mickie went for the DDT but Edge got on the apron and Lita threw her off. Edge tossed the belt into the ring and kept the referee distracted while Lita nailed Mickie with the belt and then covered. We have a new Women’s Champion! Lita and Edge embraced, and both of them are now champions with Edge being the WWE Champion and Lita being the brand new Women’s Champion. PowerWrestling.com Charlottesville, Virginia - Carlito vs. Edge 08/20/06 SummerSlam PPV - Boston, Massachusetts - John Cena vs. Edge - WWE Championship Match The Finish: Edge looks to be going for the Spear, and he charged at Cena but Cena hit a drop toe hold and locked in the STFU. Lita is about to hit Cena with the belt but Edge makes her stop as he screams in pain and manages to make it to the bottom rope. Lita slipped some brass knuckles to Edge and he went to nail Cena. Cena goes for the FU and then Lita got in and he got her on his back too. Cena gave Lita the FU but Edge held on, and then Edge whacked Cena in the back of the head with the brass knuckles and covered. Edge retains! Edge rolled to the outside with his WWE Championship and was joined by Lita. Cena comes to in the ring and does not look happy about what has transpired here tonight. Edge and Lita held their championships high as SummerSlam went off the air. Edge with an elbow drop to Hardy’s back and then he stretches Hardy against the ring post. Edge mocks Jeff’s pose before continuing the attack. Edge with an Irish whip but he charges into a boot followed by a clothesline. Hardy goes up top but Edge moves out of the way. Hardy with a DDT for a two count. Hardy tries for the Twist of Fate, but Edge counters with an inverted DDT for a two count. Edge slams Hardy’s head into the turnbuckle followed by an Irish whip but Hardy climbs the turnbuckles for a corkscrew senton splash and a two count. Hardy punches Edge but Edge responds with punches of his own. Hardy with a flying clothesline and a kick to Edge’s head for a two count. Edge backs into the corner and Hardy punches Edge. The referee separates Hardy from Edge. Hardy with a Twist of Fate and then he goes up top and he hits a Swanton but Lita pulls Edge to the apron and out of the ring on a two count. The referee calls for the bell. Apparently, Lita overheard a personal telephone conversation this weekend between Trish and her parents about her decision to hang up the boots. “Trish was saying that the road has been taking its toll on her and it was time to take some time for herself,” Lita told WWE.com, “but the hardest part was that she couldn’t decide how to tell her fans. Well, being the good friend that I am, I figured I’d break the news through WWE.com to alleviate her worries and save her the trouble of figuring out how to let down all her fans like that. Lita kicked away at Mickie in the corner and then shoved her around. Mickie came back with a shot to the mid section and then went for a back kick but Lita blocked and Mickie scored with an enziguri for two. Shane comes out and Lita explains everything to him. Shane makes a tag team match with Trish and Carlito against Lita and Randy Orton. Lita said she needs to be with Edge. Shane said then Edge will team with her and Orton against Carlito, Trish and John Cena! Carlito is backstage and Trish comes in and asks if he’s ready to do this. Carlito said he is sick of Orton and he is sick of him bragging. Carlito said all Orton has done since coming back to RAW is pose. Carlito said something in Spanish, and said that Orton is a fraud. Carlito is the king of disrespecting people, and tonight he will respectfully spit in his face. Edge and Lita make their way to the ring as the WWE Champion and Women’s Champion respectively, and they will be teaming with Randy Orton here to face Trish Stratus, Carlito and John Cena. Orton and Cena kicked things off with Orton nailing a kick to the gut and then some right hands. Orton sent Cena to the ropes but Cena came back with the flying shoulder for a two count. Cena nailed the throwback and covered again for a two count. Cena tagged in Carlito who went to work with left hands on Orton. Carlito hit a back elbow knockdown and then a clothesline but Orton got a thumb to the eye. Orton tagged in Edge but he ate a dropkick from Carlito. Cena tagged in and went after Edge but Edge ran from the ring and tagged in Lita. Cena tagged in Trish who nailed Lita with a right hand. Trish worked Lita over in the corner with kicks and then choked Lita with her boot but then Lita came back with a clothesline. Trish came back with a rollup for two. Trish slapped Orton right across the face and Edge and Orton got in the ring but Cena and Carlito came in to stop them and they bailed from the ring as we go to commercial! Back live and Lita is in control of Trish with a rear naked choke. Trish fought out and nailed a neckbreaker. Trish made the tag to Carlito and Lita tagged Orton. Carlito hit the running knee lift and then a pair of clotheslines on Orton. Carlito hit the springboard back elbow and then some mounted punches in the corner. Edge distracted Carlito and then Orton went to work on Carlito. Carlito was sent to the outside and Edge and Lita got some stomps in before sending Carlito back into the ring. Orton hit a knee to the back for a near fall and then tagged in Edge. Edge mocked Cena and then choked Carlito over the middle rope. Orton nailed a cheapshot on Carlito and then Edge scored with a standing dropkick. Edge sent Carlito head first to the corner and then hit a running shoulder spear on Carlito. Orton tagged back in and Edge held Carlito while Orton nailed him in the gut. Orton stomped away at Carlito and drove the air out of Carlito using the ropes. Orton hit an uppercut on the outside while Carlito was draped across the apron. Edge then hit a cheapshot on Carlito and even Lita got in on the act. Edge nailed right hands but Carlito came back with some chops and left hands but then Edge came out of nowhere with a kick and a clothesline for two. Orton tagged back in and he tagged in Lita. Orton held Carlito while Lita stomped at him. Orton tagged in and hit a boot to the head of Carlito and then locked in an abdominal stretch. Orton used the ropes for leverage and the referee saw it. Orton tagged in Edge who nailed a snapmare into a rear naked choke. Orton got the tag again who locked in a rear naked choke of his own. Carlito out of nowhere with a jumping enziguri takes Orton down. Edge goes over to Cena and yanks him off the apron. Trish gets the tag and so does Lita. Trish takes down Lita and then Cena tackles Edge. Cena with a double clothesline on Orton and Edge and then Carlito came off the top on Orton. Lita and Trish are legal in the ring while Orton and Carlito and Edge and Cena battle on the outside. Trish takes Lita down with Stratusphere and sets up for the Stratusfaction. Edge comes in and goes for the spear on Trish but Carlito tackles him. Orton then comes in and nails Trish with the RKO. Lita covers for the win as Edge held Carlito off. Lita kicked Trish, then rammed her face first to the mat repeatedly. Lita choked her on the bottom rope, then snapmared her and applied a sleeper. Trish fought up, hitting elbows, but Lita yanked her to the mat by the hair. Lita rammed Trish head first into the turnbuckles, then kicked her repeatedly in the gut. Trish reversed positions and choked her with her boot. Trish chopped Lita against the ropes, licking her hands before the last one. Trish hit a Stinger Splash, but ran into an elbow. Lita got on the ropes, and Trish went for the handstand rana, but Lita grabbed her and pulled her onto the ropes with her. They slugged it out on the top rope, and both of them tumbled to the floor. Lita went to the ropes and again, but Trish met her there and they slugged it out again. Lita ended up pulled Trish off the top rope and throwing her into the ring while standing on the ring apron. Lita went for a moonsault, but Trish moved and Lita crashed to the mat. Trish scored a two count. Trish went for Stratusfaction, but Lita dumped her over the top rope and to the floor. Lita tossed Trish back into the ring and scored a two count. Lita, frustrated, hit Trish with a series of shots on the mat, then started kicking her. Lita hit a knee to the gut and knocked Trish to the mat. Lita suplexed Trish to the mat for a two count, then kicked her in the gut. Lita drove some knees into Trish's back, then trash talked her while slapping her in the face. Trish fired back with shots to the face, but Lita hit a side Russian legsweep and delivered a series of rights. Lita rammed Trish to the mat, then applied a sleeper again. Trish fought up and hit a neckbreaker. Both were slow to get up, and then they began exchanging punches. Trish ran into a Lita elbow, but caught her with the handstand rana out of the corner. Trish measured Lita and hit the Chick Kick, but Lita kicked out at two. Lita raked Trish's eyes and went for the Twist Of Fate, but Trish reversed it and went for the Stratusfaction. Trish shifted mid-move and turned it into a sunset flip. Lita dropped down on it and went for the ropes, but Trish used her legs to hook Lita down. Trish rolled completely through the move instead of pinning Lita, and ended up on her feet holding Lita's legs. Trish applied the Sharpshooter, to the loudest pop of the night so far. Lita struggled, but tapped out at the twelve minute mark. Trish stood in all four corners, then bowed in the center of the ring. She pointed at Lilian Garcia, who pointed back at her, tears in her eyes. Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler stood up and applauded her. Trish was still celebrating as they went to a commercial for Smackdown. PowerWrestling.com 09/17/06 Unforgiven PPV - Toronto, Ontario, Canada - John Cena vs. Edge - Tables, Ladders and Chairs WWE Championship Match Cena gave Lita an FU. The table that was stacked on top of another in the ring toppled down. Cena set it back up, for some reason, then stared at the belt and Edge for a while. Cena finally went to position the ladder, and began to climb up. Cena crawled back in and climbed up the other side of the ladder. Both men were on the ladder, and slugged it out. They both reached for the belt. Cena grabbed Edge and gave him an FU, dropping him off the top of the ladder and through the double stacked tables. Cena, looking upset, grabbed the title belt to win the match at the 26 minute mark. PowerWrestling.com 09/18/06 Monday Night Raw - Montreal, Quebec, Canada - Candice Michelle vs. Lita Candice Michelle comes to the ring for her match and we go to commercial. Lita pushes Candice and then she connects with forearms and a front face lock. Lita slams Candice’s head into the turnbuckles and then she throws Candice face first to the mat. Lita chokes Candice in the ropes. Candice with elbows and a forearm. Candice holds on to the ropes and she kicks Lita. Candice with a jumping spin kick and Lita goes out of the ring. Lita pulls Candice out of the ring and she slams Candice’s face into the apron. Lita then runs Candice’s back into the apron. Lita with a snap mare and a two count. Lita continues the attack with a kick to the midsection. Lita with a front face lock and a knee to the abdomen. Lita with a suplex and float over for a two count. Lita with a sleeper on Candice. Candice tries to get out of the hold but Lita pulls Candice down by the hair. Lita with a side Russian leg sweep on Candice for a two count. Lita continues to kick Candice as she stands over Candice. Lita with an Irish whip but she charges into an elbow. Candice with a rollup for a two count. Lita pushes Candice back to the mat when Candice tries to get up. Lita with kicks to Candice’s back followed by a slam and then she goes up top for a moonsault. Mickie James comes out and she distracts Lita. That allows Candice to get up and hit a power bomb for the three count. PowerWrestling.com 09/25/06 Monday Night Raw - Oklahoma City, Oklahoma - Lita vs. Candice Michelle Before the match, Lita took the cord mic. This was like an OVW moment with the old house mic. She said she had a private meeting with The Coach before the match and he let Lita pick the referee for the match. Edge came out as the referee. He checked Candice for illegal objects then Edge gave Lita a full body inspection. The bell rang then Edge speared Candice. Lita made a cover for the win then John Cena hit the ring to clear Edge and Lita to the outside. Cena walked around the ring as some lights began to come up on the floor. They came back with the lights back on and Cena in the ring talking on a regular mic. He said Edge tried to knock out the power in the building because he didn't want a piece of Cena. Cena said everyone is still in the building and ready to rock. Edge interrupted him with Lita. He told Cena to shut up. Edge said Cena is next going to claim that he's the reason the power came back on. Cena said the fans want to see him whip Edge. Edge sarcastically asked the fans if they want to see that. "Tonight, I don't think so," Edge said. He said he will invoke his re-match clause on his terms. He said he's going to take his lady and go celebrate. Cena then went on a joke spree about Lita's sexuality. Lita stood stonefaced on the floor, not reacting to anything. She then took the mic from Edge and said she's tired of Cena making jokes about her every week. "I'm a human being; I have feelings!" Lita said. The fans booed. This was one of her better promos in months, probably drawing off real emotion here. She then said Cena is the joke because everyone in the locker room is a better wrestler than him and even she is a better wrestler than him. Cena paused then said she's probably right, but only if he was blind and had one hand tied behind his back. He said he would wrestle Lita, but he fears scoring a major case of herpies. He then turned to the hard camera, acknowledging it, and said you cannot stop it, but you can only contain it. Edge then challenged Cena to a match against Lita with one hand tied behind Cena's back. Lita wasn't very happy about it. Edge reassured her then Cena just smirked, realizing he set himself up. Lita vs. John Cena - No Holds Barred Match Afterwards, Finlay, Regal, and King Booker hit the ring. They attacked Cena, who still had one hand tied behind his back. Booker, wearing his robe, oversaw the proceedings. Edge had a good laugh as the King's Court worked over Cena. Booker took the mic and asked Cena if he really thought he could show up on his show and show him up. He said it's time for Cena to be humbled tonight. He's not going to pull an Iron Sheik on him, is he? Booker directed traffic as Finlay drove a shillelagh to Cena's stomach. Sharmell smiled and applauded from the outside. Oh, by the way, there's no heat on this. Finlay choked Cena with the shillelagh after Booker took off his boot. Finlay and Regal drove Cena's face into Booker's exposed foot. Edge had a good laugh on the outside. Booker did a giant ballerina twirling dance that Randy Orton is probably complaining about to someone backstage about gimmick infringement. The heels left then Edge entered the ring and said it looks like John just got his ass kicked. He said Cena's going to get his ass kicked on Smackdown on Friday. Edge said he's going to invoke his re-match clause next week on Raw in a steel cage match. Cena clutched his arm as Edge left the ring then laughed. PowerWrestling.com 10/27/06 Internet News - Lita To Retire Rumor Coming Up Again With Lita possibly moonsaulting her way out of WWE, the sultry redhead may soon be on the hunt for a new paycheck. With that in mind, we threw together her resume and sent it off to career expert Susan Vobejda, Vice President of Marketing for Yahoo! HotJobs. After reviewing Lita's C.V., she had these recommendations for the duplicitous Diva. Also, the title of the article reads WWE's Career Corner - Retiring Superstars' one-stop job placement center. Lita's WWE future is currently unclear. The Wrestling Observer reported back in the summer that her WWE contract was set to expire in either September or November and that she wasn't planning on renewing it because she wanted to do some other things in her life (namely focusing on her rock band "The Luchagors" and trying to become an actress). Considering that September has since passed and she's still appearing at WWE events, it looks like her contract will be expiring in November - if the original report is indeed true. On the otherhand, its been reported that some fans haved asked her about the rumors at recent autograph signings and she tells them that she plans on staying in WWE. If she's still in WWE come December, it looks like she'll be sticking around after all. Lita charges into a boot from Maria. Maria with a bulldog followed by a bronco buster. Lita uses the ropes for a cover, but the referee stops the count. Lita with a kick to Maria followed by a DDT for the three count. After the match, Lita comes to the announce table and she gets in Mickie’s face. Lita says that she will be the next Women’s champion and then she leaves. PowerWrestling.com 11/05/06 Cyber Sunday PPV - Cincinnati, Ohio - Women's Championship Tournament Finals - Diva Lumberjack Match - Lita vs. Mickie James Lita immediately threw Mickie to the floor, and some of the women went after her. Mickie scooted back into the ring and threw Lita out. Lita punched away the Divas and got back into the ring. Lita applied a side headlock, but Mickie tripped Lita and hit an armdrag. Mickie barely hit a dropkick, and Lita rolled to the apron, but the Divas kept her from going to the floor. Lita pulled Mickie throat first across the top rope on the apron, then got in the ring and stomped her down in a corner. Lita suplexed Mickie for a two count. Lita rammed Mickie into the turnbuckles, but Mickie reversed positions and rammed her into the corner. Lita raked Mickie's eyes and kicked her in the back. Lita stood on Mickie's back and choked her against the bottom rope. Lita dropped Mickie with a sloppy tilt-a-whirl slam for a two count. Lita jumped on Mickie's back with a sleeper. Mickie dropped back, but Lita kept the sleeper on. Mickie rolled out of it into a jujigatame, but Lita got her feet on the ropes. Lita kicked Mickie, but Mickie grabbed her leg and tripped Lita to the mat. Mickie hit a chop and an elbow, and got a two count. Lita whipped Mickie into a corner, but Mickie caught her with an elbow. Mickie went for a headscissors, and both women fell to the floor. Both were swarmed upon, and rolled into the ring. Lita and Mickie traded punches, then Mickie hit some kicks. Mickie botched a tornado DDT, and Lita rolled her up and used the ropes for a two count. Mickie rolled up Lita for a two count. Mickie went to the ropes, but Victoria tripped her. Mickie kicked Victoria down, but that distraction allowed Lita to grab Mickie with a DDT for the win at the nine minute mark. PowerWrestling.com 11/06/06 Monday Night Raw - Columbus, Ohio - Women's Championship Match - Mickie James vs. Lita Mickie walked out for her match. Coach was on color commentary. This show just reached negative territory. He said Ross looked real comfortable with Cryme Tyme sitting next to him. He said it was like a double Oreo. Ross said he likes Oreos. Lita walked out. She took the mic and said she has good and bad news. Lita said the title's on the line, but Maria has to have one hand tied behind her back. Referee Marty tied up Maria and even added black tape on the knot to secure it. Lita grabbed a mic before the match and said she had good news and bad news…the good news was that Mickie got a title match, but the bad news was that Mickie had to have one hand tied behind her back. James tried to overcome the handicap, but Lita slapped and humiliated her. Lita connected on a Side Russian leg sweep and went to the top for a moonsault, but she missed the high risk.
