01/28/08 Monday Night Raw - Philadelphia, PA - Mickie James/Ashley vs. Beth Phoenix/Jillian Hall
Ashley came out first for a divas tag match. Mickie James came out all-smiles and got a nice reaction. Ross narrated clips of Mickie losing to Beth Phoenix last week, then being devastated after the match. Jillian Hall came out for the heel team, followed by Beth Phoenix. Ross covered for Lillian's flub on Beth's name. Mickie and Beth locked eyes, with Mickie's smile being turned upside down.

Jillian and Mickie started things off, with Mickie landed a kick early in the match. Jillian seemed to injure a knee, or at least she was selling it well. Beth took an early tag and stomped Mickie into the corner. Mickie smashed her shoulder into the corner, then Lawler said she used to love these matches, but now he's concerned because they seem too dangerous. Mickie completely ignored Ashley, who remained on the ring apron. Mickie then cleared Jillian to the outside, but Beth caught Mickie with a kick to the gut. She nailed the fisherman buster suplex for the win. Afterward, Mickie was in a shock while Ashley tried to console her. PWtorch.com

02/04/08 Monday Night Raw - Austin, TX - Kelly Kelly/Mickie James vs, Victoria/Beth Phoenix
Lawler was speechless during Kelly's spirited ring intro, finally uttering, "Mannn!" We got some fresh camera angles this week of the new entrance stage, too, so they're having fun with the new set and new look as the weeks progress. Mickie got in a flurry of offense against Victoria, but when she went to the top rope, Phoenix shook the top rope and Mickie landed awkwardly on her left leg. She clutched her knee. Phoenix scored a near fall right away. Mickie surprised Phoenix with a guillotine for a few seconds, but Phoenix escaped and tagged in Victoria. The way the women sell, everything seems real because things look less-than-smooth most of the time where it looks as if someone could have been hurt. Anyway, Mickie quickly finished Victoria with a DDT. Mickie signaled she wanted a Women's Title shot after that win. PWtorch.com

Melina (w/Beth Phoenix) pinned Mickie James. After the match, Phoenix told Candice Michelle and Maria to pay attention because this is their future at WrestleMania XXIV. The two ladies then performed a Doomsday Device on James. PWtorch.com

04/07/08 Monday Night Raw - Albany, NY - Jillian Hall and Melina vs. Ashley Massaro and Mickie James
Ashley starts the match off quick getting a 2 count on Jillian. Ashley climbs Jillian in the corner and punches her until Melina hits her from behind. Melina gets tagged in and they hit a double team move on Ashley and gets a 2 count until Mickie breaks it up. Mickie finally gets tagged in and goes to work on Melina then dropkicks Jillian. Mickie turns round but gets hit in the turnbuckle by Melina. Melina takes back control of the match, working up Mickie in the turnbuckle. Mickie puts her knees up and blocks Melina, hits a running neck breaker and a 2 count.

The other two Divas get involved but clear the ring. Mickie hits her finishing move DDT on Melina and gets the pinfall. Ashley and Mickie celebrate in the ring to Mickie's music. ProWrestling.com

04/14/08 Monday Night Raw - London, England - Mickie James vs. Beth Phoenix
Phoenix's music is still among my favorites in WWE. Ross asked Lawler about facing someone you've never been able to beat. Lawler said you can't help but have personal doubts. Glamazon pretty much dominated throughout. She applied a cool chicken wing submission hold with Mickey held in the air face down. Mickey escaped and shoved Phoenix into the corner turnbuckle. She followed up with an elbow to the face and a kick to the gut. She showed fire and set up her DDT. Phoenix shoved her into the corner to block it. Ross said if she was thinking DDT, "she thought too long." Phoenix stomped Mickie in the corner. Mickie came back with a Thesz press off the second rope, which Ross inexplicably called a bulldog, for a two count. Ross and Lawler expressed amazement at Phoenix's resilience. Mickie surprised Phoenix with a victory roll for a surprise three count to capture the Women's Title. Mickie celebrated like she just opened the $1 briefcase instead of the $500,000 and $1,000,000 briefcases late in "Deal of No Deal." She grabbed the belt and practically tripped over herself in celebration as she headed up the rampway.

After the commercial break Mickie was still celebrating and crying on stage. She was joined by Maria and Ashley. Todd Grisham interviewed her. Mickie said she knew she could do it. She was so emotional she kissed Grisham on the lips for several seconds. He fell backward.Lawler said, "Mickie James has just done what was thought to be impossible - kiss Todd Grisham. Just kidding." With the ratings success of TNA's women's division, WWE is smart if this is a sign of them taking note and renewing a serious athletic division based on more than just T&A.? Moments after Mickie James was victorious over Beth Phoenix to win back the Women’s Championship in London on Monday, Diva Dish was there to hear Mickie’s thoughts and experience the excitement surrounding her big win.

“I feel exuberated,” said a beaming Mickie. “There are no words that can really describe how I feel. I’ve gone a million matches against Beth and had yet to beat her. I’ve thrown everything but a brick wall at her. Tonight it all paid off.”

Mickie attributes her victory to studying Beth’s matches and training hard, day after day. The new Women’s Champ said she believes she’s finally found The Glamazon’s weakness.

“The fact is that I’m just a little bit quicker. She may be stronger. She may be bigger, but I’m quicker and maybe a little smarter,” Mickie explained.

The Diva’s mother is on the top of her list of people she’d like to thank for their support. Next are fellow Raw beauties, Maria and Ashley.

“It felt good that they were there, because it shows that they really care,” Mickie said. “They’re my friends and they’re not just single-serving friends, as a movie once said. They actually really do care about me.”

Mickie called herself a “fighting champion” and is ready to defend her coveted gold. As for the former Women’s Champion, Mickie refused to utter a negative word about her fierce competitor.

“Beth was one heck of a champion. I’m very glad that I was able to face her out there tonight and I’m very grateful I was able to win the gold from her tonight. I have nothing bad or crass to say about Beth, because that is not my style,” Mickie said.

04/21/08 Monday Night Raw - Greenville, SC - Celebrating Mickie's Win
Michelle McCool, Ashley, Kelly Kelly, Cherry, and Maria came out to the ring. Maria said they wanted to celebrate what they never thought was possible. Roll clip of Mickie James winning the Women's Title from Beth Phoenix last week. Ashley said the witch is dead. She then welcomed out Mickie James for a big celebration. Mickie hopped to the ring with the Women's Title in hand while Ross referenced Danica Patrick having a Mickie James moment by winning her first race over the weekend.

Maria said she knows Mickie wasn't expecting a celebration, but they wanted to tell her congratulations. Mickie gave the speech about never giving up and always competing. She said she proved everyone wrong last week. Before she could finish, Beth Phoenix led out the heel divas to the ring. Beth, Melina, Victoria, Natalia, Jillian Hall (w/strange wig and/or facial lift?), and Layla came out. Beth ripped the mic away and said listening to this pathetic lovefest prompted them to come out here and break up the party. Beth said the question is when she's winning the belt back. McCool speaks! Michelle started things off against Beth. Lawler plugged Michelle being the number search item on Yahoo yesterday, ahead of the NFL Draft. Someone got information off the Torch News Ticker. Mickie entered the ring and avoided Victoria's shimmy moonsault and nailed an enziguiri kick. Suddenly, the whole deal broke down when Cherry ran over to the heel corner and attacked Natalya. Order was momentarily restored, then Ashley and Jillian took tags. I have no idea what's going on with Ashley's outfit. The heels then took turns working over Ashley in their corner. Mickie came into the ring without a tag, then women randomly entered the ring illegally. It wasn't even a break down, just one diva giving a move, then another diva getting a move, then another diva getting a move, then another diva getting a move. Just completely random. And it came back down to Beth and Ashley, who were legal. Beth with the big fisherman buster suplex on Ashley for the pin and the win.

Winners: Team Beth in 7:00. That was the most organized match break down I've ever seen. Otherwise, a giant collection of multi-colored outfits that probably caused a few TVs to explode. PWtorch.com

Things started off with Kelly and Beth, who attacked Kelly from behind after a pre-match scuffle. Not quite Garnett vs. Pachulia, but it'll do. Victoria took a tag, then Kelly snapped off a head scissors, but the heel divas cut her off and went back to work. Kelly then blocked a handspring elbow from Jillian and tagged out to Mickie, who rolled up Jillian with a bridge pin for the win. PWtorch.com

05/05/08 Monday Night Raw - Toronto, Ontario - Mickie James vs. Beth Phoenix - Lumberjack Women's Title Match
Beth sent Mickie to the outside a minute into the match, then the heel lumberjacks attacked Mickie. Back in the ring, Mickie had enough of the heels grabbing at her feet, so she tried to attack Jillian ringside. A divas brawl broke out while Ross tried to restrain Lawler from getting mixed up in the action. They cut to break.

They returned with Mickie trying to fight back against Beth with kicks to the gut, but Beth tossed Mickie to the apron and the heel divas nipped at her heels again. Back in the ring, Mickie caught Beth with an enziguiri kick that sent Beth to the floor. The babyface divas ganged up on Beth, then Beth dragged Maria into the ring. Meanwhile, Melina accidentally blasted Beth with her shoe when Mickie ducked. Mickie then rolled up a stunned Beth from behind for the pin and the win. PWtorch.com

05/12/08 Monday Night Raw - Detroit, MI - Melina & Beth Phoenix vs. Mickie James & Maria
Cena was getting a cup of coffee when Mickie James walked over to thank him for the opening segment with Regal. Cena said it's cool. She then asked if he wanted to go out with her, her brother, and her brother's girlfriend afterward. Cena went into robot mode and said he has a commitment to his job, which includes staying focused on Orton tonight and Judgment Day on Sunday. Mickie wasn't sure how to take that, so Cena broke robot character and said of course he's good for going out for drinks later. He warned things get wild with him sometimes. Mickie said she can do wild. Cena said that's cool, then Mickie walked off to prepare for a match up next.

Melina came out first for the divas tag match. After she did her little in-ring pose thingie, Beth Phoenix came out while the announcers talked about Beth and Melina not being on the same page last week. Maria led out the babyface tandem, then Mickie James pranced out to a typical strong reaction.

Melina and Beth had an early miscommunication, with Beth being bumped off the ring apron. Beth then opted to leave the ring instead of take a tag from Melina to set up a beating on Mickie. Melina lost control, and Mickie finished off Melina with a neckbreaker. Beth just kept walking up the ramp with her back to the ring while Mickie and Maria celebrated afterward. PWtorch.com

05/18/08 WWE Judgement Day PPV - Omaha, NE - Mickie James vs. "Glamazon" Beth Phoenix vs. Melina - Title Match
When the match began, Glamazon insisted that Melina "get out of my ring right now." Melina refused and instead kicked Glamazon out of the ring. Mickie seized the opportunity to roll-up Melina for a near fall. Mickie ran into the ropes, but Glamazon yanked them down and Mickie fell to the floor. Glamazon clotheslined her on the floor, then entered the ring to go after Melina. Melina went after her aggressively. Mickie returned to the ring applied a sleeper type hold at 2:00. When Mickie went to the top rope, Melina knocked her off balance. Glamazon picked up Melina onto her shoulders and dropped her back Electric Chair style. Mickie dove onto Glamazon for a near fall, then scored a two count. She followed with a low dropkick. Melina set up Mickie on the top rope. Glamazon picked up Melina in an inverted body vice. She then moved over to Mickie and lifted her, too. "There's no way," Ross declared. "I've never seen that in my life." Glamazon held both women up there in an inverted body vice for several seconds before dropping down. As Glamazon set up a chokeslam on Mickie, Melina jumped Beth from behind. Mickie James suggested that schools all over the nation could send in tapes saying why they love WWE and the winner could get a Diva for the Day and do a "Meet and Greet." JBL barged in and said that sounded like an escort service. JBL said he's a wealthy man, like he is, and he feels with five hours of prime time entertainment per week is showing plenty of appreciation for fans. JBL said he's going to bust open Mickie's boyfriend like a Mexican pinata. She said Cena's not her boyfriend. JBL said, "From what I understand, you've exchanged enough bodily fluids." 06/02/08 Monday Night Raw - Bakersfield, CA - Beth Phoenix/Katie Lea vs. Mickie James/Melina - Tag Team Match
The announcers hyped Beth's sick-looking submission move on Melina to win the I Quit match last night. Katie Lea then came out as her tag partner. Melina walked out first for the babyface team, and she was holding her back in pain. Mickie James then bounced out to the ring and encouraged Melina to get in the ring, but Melina was more interested in an ice bath than wrestling.

The heels worked on Mickie to start things off while Melina paced the ring apron. Melina then screamed at Mickie for a tag and Mickie obliged. Melina came in hotter than a Texas summer night and tackled Beth to the outside. Mickie eventually had to pull Mickie off Beth, then Melina tried to get herself some more, but Beth landed a sick clothesline on the floor that took the air out of the building. Back in the ring, Melina made a hot tag to Mickie, who landed a snap neckbreaker on Katie. Mickie then went up top and landed a Thesz Press before trying her spike DDT finisher. Katie blocked, though, and Beth smashed Mickie into the mat behind the ref's back. Katie then scored a pin for the win. PWtorch.com

Ross and Lawler debated the merits of the Cena/Mickie relationship that's the talk of the locker room while Beth worked over Mickie to start things off. Mickie came back with a double-foot dropkick to the face for a nearfall at 2:00. Mickie then went up top and landed a Thesz Press into a pin for the win.

Post-match: Beth tried to sneak attack Mickie, but Melina jumped into the ring for revenge on Beth. Melina took Beth face-first into the mat, then she stared down Beth and left the ring. Beth was super-mad afterward and made a mean face toward Melina. PWtorch.com

06/16/08 Monday Night Raw - Salt Lake City, UT - Mr. Kennedy & Mickie James vs. Paul Burchill & Katie Lea
Burchill wanted a piece of Kennedy to start things off, but Kennedy provided a boot to the head early on for a nearfall. Katie then tagged herself in and stared down Kennedy. Mickie entered and provided the slap on Katie that set off a divas brawl. Katie cut off Mickie with a knee to the gut, but Mickie came back with a series of flying clotheslines. Mickie wanted the top rope Thesz Press, but Katie moved and caught Mickie with a backbreaker across her knees for the pin and the win. PWtorch.com

06/23/08 Monday Night Raw - San Antonio, TX - Mickie James/Melina (Raw) vs Victoria/Natalya (Smackdown) Draft Pick Night
The ring announcer said the following match was an Announcers' Only Draft with the commentators, ring announcers, and interviewers eligible. Ross seemed nonplussed. Cole looked nervous, then smiled.

Foley said maybe he and J.R. could become a legendary combo. "It could be me and Adamle! Yes, Michael!" Tazz said he can't fathom Raw without J.R. or the King. At 2:00 Melina sold an ankle injury after being shoved off the ring apron onto the floor. Mickie went to check on her. Melina apologized to Mickie. The heels jumped the faces at ringside. The ref called for the bell. Adamle interjected, "It's a DQ." Ross quizzed Adamle on what that meant. Adamle actually knew. The ref ruled it a DDQ. As a result, both Raw and Smackdown will get a draft pick.

Draft Board: Jim Ross was drafted to Smackdown. He stood up and dropped his headset. It was only academic that Michael Cole was then drafted over to Raw. Ross definitely did not look pleased, while Foley was speechless. Cole then sat down next to Lawler and said he's ecstatic to be on Raw, but he's called every single Smackdown except for two over the last 10 years. Katie bailed to the outside early on to regroup with Paul. After Katie returned to the ring, Mickie gave her a double foot kick to the face. Katie came back with a suplex to set up her attack on Mickie's shoulder. During a silent stretch at 5:00, a few fans chanted, "You're a pirate" at Burchill ringside. Mickie came back with a head scissors on Katie, then wanted her leaping DDT finisher, but Katie applied a cross arm breaker. Mickie escaped, then slipped out of a suplex and nailed the leaping DDT for the pin and the win. PWtorch.com

06/30/08 Monday Night Raw - Oklahoma City, OK - Mickie James vs. Jillian Hall
Jillian sang her way to the ring. Lawler: "You know, she speaks five languages. She can't sing in any of them." Mickie tackled Jillian at the start and then head scissored her to the floor. Good intensity in the opening minute. Jillian came back to control the body of the match, such as it was for two minutes. Mickie kicked Jillian on a handspring elbow attempt, then spin kicked her to the jaw for the win. Mickie clutched her shoulder after her win, the area Jillian concentrated on. She kept shaking it out and seemed believably bothered by it. She kept looking at it as if she expected it to be visually dislocated. PWtorch.com

07/01/08 Internet News - Cena Confirms Rumor About Relationship With Mickie
The WWE Fan Nation mods held a live Q & A with John Cena prior to Night of Champions last night. During the chat, Cena confirmed his rumored relationship with Mickie James. However, he notes that he is no longer involved with her. One fan asked, "First of all, good luck tonight! I love you, and I know your going to win. If you could pick one thing in your life to live over again, what would it be, and why?" Cena replied, "My relationship with Mickie James because it was over much too soon." Rajah.com

07/07/08 Monday Night Raw - New Orleans, LA - Mickie James & Kelly Kelly vs. Jillian & Layla
Mickie and Cena talking backstage. Mickie said she had a blast on Bourbon Street last night. She said she's sure he has a lot of great stories from there. Cena said, "As a matter of fact, I do." Kelly Kelly interrupted and told Mickie it's time for their tag match. Cena asked Kelly how she got on Raw. He asked if Teddy Long let her out of her contract. Kelly, apparently channeling the Raw ghost of Maria, had a blonde moment asking "We have contracts?" Mickie laughed and took her off-camera. Cena simply stared in disbelief before looking into the camera to say God Bless America.

Jillian sang before the match. They showed fans plugging their ears. Jillian and Mickie lock up. Arm bar to Mickie who flips out. Mickie takes Jillian down, Jillian reverses to a head scissors move on the mat. Mickie breaks lose and delivers a low drop kick to Jillian’s knee and then runs over and smacks Layla.

Kelly tags in and takes Jillian down for a two-count. Jillian flips Kelly over the top, but she hangs on and manages to get her feet on the apron. Jillian knocks her from the apron and Layla attacks her and rolls her back into the ring. Jillian covers for two. Jillian stretches Kelly backward in a hold. Kelly gets out and is backed into a corner and whipped out. Jillian goes for a cart wheel back elbow, but Kelly jumps up to land on her shoulders. Kelly flips around and drops Jillian. Kelly covers for three.

WebMaster's Note: Kelly Kelly looked extremely good in the ring tonight. She might actually become a real wrestler.

07/14/08 Monday Night Raw - Raleigh, NC - Mickie James vs. Katie Lea
Basic back-and-forth to start things off. Mickie won with a top rope Thesz Press with the crowd hot for the finish. Post-match, Katie and Burchill double-teamed Mickie until Kofi Kingston made the save for Mickie. Heels left the ring, then Kofi laid down the IC Title belt and told Burchill to come get some right now. They cut to break with Burchill walking back to the ring. Lawler teased a title match after the break.

Kofi Kingston (w/Mickie James) vs. Paul Burchill (w/Katie Lea) -- Intercontinental Title match
Divas were ringside cheering on their respective men with the match joined in progress out of the break. Kofi was in control to start off with, but Burchill went on the attack to work over Kofi's midsection. He made his comeback and hit the boom-boom leg drop before Mickie attacked Katie on the outside to cut off any potential interference. Kofi then finished off Burchill with the Jamaican Buzzsaw kick for the pin and the win. Mickie celebrated with Kofi as the crowd ate it up with a loud ovation. PWtorch.com

07/21/08 Monday Night Raw - Mohegan Sun Casino, CT - Mickie James & Kofi Kingston vs. Katie Lea & Paul Burchill
After some early action between Mickie and Lea, Burchill and Kofi fought. Burchill pulled the women apart as they fought at ringside. Kofi shoved Burchill into the ringpost, but when he went for a spin wheel kick, Burchill ducked and Kofi's foot hit the ringpost. Burchill then gave Kofi a neckbreaker and scored the pin. WWE Women's champion Mickie James will be appearing on an upcoming episode of the USA Network's original series "Psych". The roller derby-themed episode will air on 9/6. USA's website lists the plot for the episode as, "Juliet going undercover as a skater to solve a number of robberies that are linked to a roller derby team." Rajah.com

Jillian worked over Mickie to start things off. Mickie then finished off Jillian with the elevated DDT for the win. Mickie hugged it out with her dad, then Katie Lea suddenly attacked her from behind and smashed her into the ringpost. Katie smiled at her work, then left while Mickie was KO'ed on the floor. Paul Burchill suddenly showed up and handed Katie the mic. Katie promised to be the next WWE Women's champion and said Burchill is the future IC champion. PWtorch.com

08/04/08 Monday Night Raw - Knoxville, TN - Mickie James vs. Katie Lea - Women's Title match
Kofi Kingston vs. Paul Burchill (w/Katie Lea) - Intercontinental Title match
Burchill worked over Kingston early, but Kingston came back with the boom-boom leg drop and the fluid buzzsaw kick to the head for the clean win. It seemed quite unusual for Kingston to simply hit his combo without much resistance from Burchill, as if the viewer was expecting a counter. Instead, Kingston with the clean combo win. Afterward, Katie tried to get in Kingston's face to run distraction, but Kingston avoided Burchill, who flew to the outside. Kingston then chased Burchill to the back, leaving Katie in the ring. Mickie James's music hit, and Mickie charged the ring to defend her title against Katie in the next match. [Commercial Break]

Mickie James vs. Katie Lea - Women's Title match
They returned with the action in progress. Announcers talked about Katie attacking Mickie in front of her father last week to set up Mickie's quest for revenge tonight. Mickie dominated out of the break, but Katie caught her with a slingshot smash across the middle rope for a nearfall. Katie then slapped on a bow and arrow, but Mickie slipped out into a pin attempt for a nearfall of her own. Mickie landed a head scissors out of the corner, then built some momentum with forearm smashes before landing a neckbreaker for a two count. Katie tried to come back with a stalker kick, but Mickie blocked and landed her spike DDT for the pin and the win.

Afterward, Beth Phoenix jumped Mickie from behind and tossed her through the ropes to the outside. Beth then rammed Mickie hard into the ring apron before rolling her back into the ring. Beth took Mickie back into the ring to inflict more punishment, where she landed an implant-buster wheelbarrow slam. Santino then walked out on stage giving Beth a round of applause for her dominating work. Beth then walked up the stage and smiled at Santino before grabbing a handful of butt cheek. Beth turned away to celebrate, then Santino grabbed a little cheek in return. Beth smiled and slowly walked away. PWtorch.com

08/11/08 Monday Night Raw - Richmond, VA - Beth Phoenix (w/Santino Marella) vs. Kelly Kelly
In-ring: Kelly Kelly came to the ring in a bright hot pink outfit. Beth Phoenix then came out with Santino to face Kelly. And Santino on commentary with Jerry stupid Lawler.

Santino said he has great confidence in Beth to handle Kelly here. Beth nearly killed Kelly a minute into the match with a back-drop attempt where Kelly didn't quite flip over to land on her back. Everyone held their breath momentarily, as Santino talked about Beth tossing him around like Beth is tossing around Kelly. Suddenly, Kelly countered a press slam into a roll-up for a nearfall. Beth had enough and finished off Kelly with a sit-down implant buster for the pin and the win.

Post-match: Santino took the mic and said they need to send a message to Kofi and Mickie for the Summerslam winner-take-all match. Santino said he wanted her to do that thing where she quashes her, but Mickie and Kofi ran to the ring to make the save. Santino casually slipped out of the ring with Beth and said they'll settle this at Summerslam. Santino then suggested a match here right now. Kofi accepted the challenge, then Santino said he meant Mickie. See, he needs practice for Summerslam on when and where he can put his hands. Mickie wasn't amused and Kofi tried to defend her, but Santino played the "hometown" card to goat Mickie into accepting the challenge against Kofi's judgment. [Commercial Break]

This was so great to start off with Mickie matching Santino move-for-move in a game of can-you-top-this? Santino then smashed Mickie hard to the mat and went for the big knee drop, but Mickie moved in time. Santino feigned a knee injury, but Mickie showed no sympathy and went on the attack. Kofi then accidentally ran interference, allowing Beth to sneak into the ring and send Mickie hard into the ringpost. Santino took advantage with a roll-up for like a four count to secure the pin. Afterward, Santino celebrated ringside in classic Santino-wins-the-Super-Bowl fashion while taunting Mickie's parents in the process. 08/17/08 Summerslam PPV - Indianapolis, IN - Beth Phoenix & Santino Marella vs. Mickie James & Kofi Kingston - Winning Team Wins Both Belts
Backstage: Maria brought in Santino and Beth Phoenix for an interview. Ah, Santino and Maria together again. Santino said Maria has really let herself go since they broke apart. Santino referenced the Glamarella tandem that has all the tabloids talking. After Maria cracked a joke on Santino's unibrow, Santino said he drives the women crazy with it. He even dropped a manscaping reference. Santino left, leaving Beth and Maria to have a staring contest. Beth told Maria he's all hers.

In-ring: Mickie James (Women's champion) and Kofi Kingston (IC champion) came out to defend their respective titles in the winner-takes-all bout. Santino and Beth showed unity coming out together after the champions came out with separate entrances. Oh my, Santino sporting the singlet.

There was a little dissension between Santino and Beth early on, with Beth complaining about Santino ruining things for her. Kofi teased a splash onto both, but Santino hopped into Beth's awaiting arms and Kofi stopped short. Hilarious. Back in the ring, Santino and Kofi battled until knocking heads pretty hard. They quickly made tags out the ladies to get a breather, leading to Mickie getting the upper hand on Beth. Mickie went up top and nailed her Thesz Press, but Santino broke up the pin. Mickie then gave Santino a nice elevated DDT to KO Santino. Mickie was then blindsided by Beth, who smashed her with the seated implant buster for the pin and the win.

Afterward, Beth revived Santino from a state of unconsciousness and handed him his IC Title belt. Santino then hopped on Beth's shoulders and Beth carried him around ringside as Santino shouted that they did it. On stage, Santino claimed he did it all by himself. Jillian sang (poorly) before the match a song by "Chicago" as a tribute to one of her favorite bands. Match started off with Kelly landing some acrobatic moves before the heels went to work on her. Kelly then blocked a handspring elbow drop from Jillian and made the hot tag to Mickie, who cleaned house. Some awkward TV ensued as everyone tried to get on the same page, then Kelly and Mickie double-dropkicked Jillian to the outside. From behind, Mickie avoided a roll-up with a hook of the tights from Katie before nailing the leaping DDT on Katie for the pin and the win. PWtorch.com

09/01/08 Monday Night Raw - St. Louis, MO - Beth Phoenix/Jillian Hall/Katie Lea vs. Mickie James/Kelly Kelly/Candice Michelle
Jillian Hall started to sing Nelly's song about taking off all your clothes while Katie Lea stood by in painful horror. Mickie James interrupted, followed by Kelly Kelly. Beth Phoenix then came out as the third diva on the heel side. Beth took the mic and told Randy Orton to take a close look at her - the most beautiful and talented diva to set foot in the ring. She said there is no one that can match her power. Suddenly, Candice Michelle's music interrupted and Candice made her return to the ring as the third babyface diva. Cole and Lawler quickly recapped the history between Beth and Candice before the match started.

Beth was in the ring at 3:00 when Candice took a hot tag and dropped Beth with a wicked head scissors into knee smash. Beth came back with a double sledge, but Candice leap frogged in the corner into a seated slam. Candice then went up top with a bit of hesitation. She cleared off the heels, though, and nailed a cross body block. Unfortunately, Beth rolled through into powerslam position. Candice slipped out, though, and scored with a small package on Beth for the pin and the win. Afterward, Candice lowered the strap on her top to show she's healed up from the broken clavicle. Of note, Mickie didn't look enthralled being over-shadowed by the returning Candice vs. Beth program. PWtorch.com

09/08/08 Internet News - How Mickie James Got On 'Psych'
Mickie James landed the guest appearance on the USA Network show Psych because James Roday - the lead actor of the show as the faux-psychic character Shawn Spencer - is a big wrestling fan and personally requested her services after he found out about the episode's scheduled storyline. James told ComedyCentric.com that she was spending a lot of time on skates while filming the show. However, she also said it was no big deal since she had prior exposure through her mom’s former job at a place called Skateland. Rajah.com

Candice Michelle came to the ring ahead of the Women's Title match between Mickie James and Beth Phoenix. Michael Cole said Candice gets the title match against the winner at the next PPV. Beth quickly showed off her power in the opening minutes, dragging Mickie in and out of the ring to inflict punishment. Mickie then blocked a corner move and snapped off a head scissors. Candice was shown chuckling to herself sitting in the director's chair ringside. Beth then blocked a top rope move and flung Mickie hard to the mat with a power move for the pin and the win. Rather decisive victory. Beth then stared down Candice, who stood up and giggled at Beth. PWtorch.com

09/29/08 Monday Night Raw - Minneapolis, MN - Jamie Noble & Mickie James vs. Paul Burchill & Katie Lea
Jamie Noble walked up to Jillian Hall, who was checking herself out in the mirror. Noble said he doesn't need any singing tonight, but he does respect her wrestling ability. Noble asked Jillian to be his tag partner tonight in an inter-gender match, but Jillian suggested Noble is a loser. Suddenly, ole Dolph Ziggler interrupted and shook Jillian's hand while flashing a bright smile. Noble wasn't impressed by him.

In-ring: Jamie Noble came to the ring for the inter-gender deal to face Paul Burchill and Katie Lea. Noble apparently didn't have a partner, then William Regal's music hit and Regal came out on stage with Layla to watch from his throne. Just as the match was set to start, Mickie James came out as Noble's partner. Noble was rather pumped at this prospect.

Noble started things off to set up a tag to Mickie, who was quickly tripped up by Burchill behind the ref's back. Katie then worked over Mickie while Regal and Layla watched with interest from the stage. Noble eventually took a tag and slammed Burchill with a rolling side suplex before going up top for a missile dropkick. Noble made a cover, but Katie broke up the pin. Mickie then nailed Katie with a top rope splash before flinging her over the top rope to the floor. Burchill tried to make a fiery comeback, but Noble snapped off a Northern Lights suplex into the Noble armbar. Burchill quickly tapped out, giving Mickie and Noble the win. Regal simply stood up and fixed his gaze on the ring where Noble and Mickie celebrated. PWtorch.com

William Regal and Layla were at ringside, Regal sitting in his throne with Layla standing behind him. In one of the most heelish things ever, Santino said he's been accused of being not American enough and too Italian, so in an effort to become more American for the fans, he adopted a new favorite NBA team. Santino took off his Santino t-shirt and revealed a t-shirt for the Oklahoma City Thunder, the new name and home city for Seattle's beloved Sonics. Santino said it's time a "city like Oklahoma" got an NBA team of its own. Beth and Mickie began the match. Mickie got early control with a barrage of punches. Santino tagged in, so Jamie also tagged in. Beth yanked on Santino's tights. He turned around. Santino rolled up Jamie from behind for the pin. PWtorch.com

10/26/08 Cyber Sunday PPV - Phoenix, AZ - Diva Costume Contest
The first Diva Costumes were revealed. Michelle McCool was dressed in Army uniform. Katie Lee was dressed as a vampire. Lena Yada was dressed as a Sexy Ninja. Candice Michelle was Marilyn Monroe. Later Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler were shown at ringside plugging the voting for the WWE Diva Costume Contest. Then they went to more costumes. Beth Phoenix was a knight. Jillian is Batgirl. She sang the song poorly. Maria was a Playboy Bunny. She was munching on a phallic carrot. Kelly Kelly was dressed as a ship captain.

After another match more Diva Costumes were revealed. The voting has to heavily favor those who were shown earlier on the show rather than later. Hardly fair. Tiffany was a sexy nun. Bri Bella was Cleopatra. Natalya was a traffic cop. Eve was a Ninja Turtle.

A few more matches later and Jim Ross and Tazz were shown at ringside. They threw to more Diva Costumes. Maryse was a sexy French maid. She said she loves when things get dirty. Victoria was a big banana. Eve was Princess Leah. It was about what you'd have any right to expect from that segment. She said, "Vote for me because I have appeal." Mickie James held two pistols and had a long pony tail.

Finally Tazz was in the ring, and he brought out all 16 divas from Raw, Smackdown, and ECW to decide who won the costume contest. It has to come down to Michelle, Maryse, Mickie, and Kelly Kelly. And the winner is... Mickie James as Lara Croft from Tomb Raider to repeat from last year. Mickie celebrated, then a giant brawl broke out in the ring. The heel Divas were standing in the ring after the break. The babyfaces came out to Mickie's music. Lawler noted that the babyface team was short one member. Lawler said: "Her birth certificate is a rock. In one of the pyramids, they found a picture of Mae Young in a headlock." Lawler added: "You know the average male thinks of Kelly Kelly nine times every hour." Mae begged to be tagged in early. She entered against Phoenix. She jabbed her in the throat and knocked her to the mat with two more punches. She fended off a parade of women coming at him until she literally bouncedbackwards from the force of her own punch and landed backwards against the middle rope. It was both funny and scary at once. The babyface women leaped into the ring to knock others out. Phoenix schoolgirled Mae for the win. Santino celebrated with Phoenix and her teammates at ringside. PWtorch.com

11/10/08 Monday Night Raw - Manchester, U.K. - Santino Marella (w/Women's champion Beth Phoenix) vs. William Regal (w/Layla) - Intercontinental Title match
Lillian Garcia handled the formal ring intros, with Regal clearly the babyface in his home country. Santino had a good mix himself. And ring the bell. Regal absolutely smashed Santino with a running knee lift about 30 seconds into the match, then he pinned Santino for the easy pin and the win. Beth was shocked, as was the crowd. Beth then helped Santino out of the ring and checked on his KO'ed boyfriend.

Later Backstage: Beth Phoenix was shown walking around, then she found Santino texting on his phone. She tried to console him, but Santino said he will be fine and he should never have had to defend his title tonight. So, he called Shane to let him know what's on his mind. Santino said he's not scared of Shane, but he thinks Shane is taking it out on her. It's Beth vs. um... Mickie James tonight. Santino tried to break the news casually that her belt is on the line, but Beth was not pleased. She chucked his phone into the wall, shattering it, then walked off. "My phone," Santino whispered with his lip a quivering.

Mickie dominated early. When Santino grabbed her from ringside, Mickie kicked him. That was the opening Phoenix needed to move in throw Mickie head-first into the turnbuckle and score the pin. 11/17/08 Monday Night Raw - Atlanta, GA - Kelly Kelly vs. Victoria
Victoria, from Smackdown, is on the show tonight. Victoria seemed to make short work of Kelly after hitting a reverse torture rack slam, but Kelly kicked out in two. Kelly then spun over Victoria's shoulders into a roll-up for the quick pin and the win. After the match, Victoria played the sore loser role and jumped Kelly from behind. She then finished off Kelly with the Widow's Peak in center ring. Mickie, Candice Michelle, and Jillian Hall stormed the ring to run off Victoria.

Things seemed to be done until Beth Phoenix ran down to the ring and threw Victoria back into the ring for her to take a beating. Beth put her up in the double wing slam and planted her to the mat before having a stare down with Mickie to play up their intra-brand feud at Survivor Series. PWtorch.com

11/23/08 Survivor Series PPV - Boston, MA - Smackdown Divas - Michelle McCool/Maryse/Victoria/Natalya/Maria vs. Raw Divas - Beth Phoenix (w/Santino Marella)/Mickie James/Candice Michelle/Jillian Hall/Kelly Kelly
Smackdown divas had a little trouble communicating early on here. Not quite on the same page. Kelly Kelly then grappled Victoria and gave her a huracanrana for a three count to earn the first elimination. Maryse then entered the ring and gave Kelly a kinda spinning backbreaker for a "chest press" pin. Rough going here.

Crowd was quiet as Michelle and Mickie tried to pick up the pace in the ring. Mickie then finished off Michelle with a swinging DDT, eliminating Smackdown's captain. Suddenly, Mickie and Beth entered into a discussion and Maryse took advantage with a roll-up on Mickie for an elimination. Natalya and Candice battled, then Natalya busted out the Sharpshooter to get a reaction out of the crowd. Candice wanted the ropes, but Jillian ended up breaking up the hold. Natalya complained, then Candice speared Natalya and pinned her with a bridge.

At 7:00, Jillian gave Maria a fallaway slam, which fortunately only resulted in a two count. Maria then came back on Jillian with a victory roll for a pin. Suddenly, Candice grappled Maria and scored a Northern Lights Suplex for the pin. So, it's Maryse left for Smackdown. She then applied a modified figure four, but Candice escaped. Tazz: "It was like a figure four leglock...but different."

Maryse then busted out a back heel kick on Beth, but it was good for a two count only. Maryse went for a top rope splash, but Beth caught her in mid-air. Maryse slipped out, but Beth grappled her for the chicken wing Glam Slam for the pin and the win. Naturally, Santino slipped into the ring to celebrate with Beth. PWtorch.com

In-ring: Beth Phoenix, Jillian Hall, and Katie Lea came to the ring for a six-diva match of sorts. Beth bragged about winning the divas Survivor Series match last night, then Jillian interrupted to plug the Slammys in two weeks. She said she put together a musical number for this. She started to sing while Katie did some back-up dancing. Beth reprimanded her for encouraging Jillian here. More of Jillian breaking it down, then they cut to break.

In-ring: Mickie James, then Candice Michelle came out to the ring as two of the opponents. Lawler spoiled the surprise by saying Melina is back in the ring tonight. Lillian then announced Melina returning to Raw tonight. Cole covered that Lawler has the inside scoop on all the women in WWE. Lawler reasoned that he watches the Oxygen Channel a lot.

Slow pace here, then Melina took a hot tag and brought some energy to the match. Melina busted out a sick modified Canadian Destroyer on Katie, then Beth broke up the pin. The action broke down, then Melina finished off Katie with a leg sweep splits drop for the pin and the win. PWtorch.com

Four-time WWE Women's champion Mickie James tells WWE.com that she is looking forward to expand her professional career beyond World Wrestling Entertainment. "If I was to accomplish anything outside of the continuous growth of my WWE career, it would be to star in at least one movie," Mickie said in a wwe.com superstar-to-superstar interview with Jessica Sutta of the Pussycat Dolls. "I have always dreamed of being a star on the big screen." When asked about the challenges of life on the road, James says staying upbeat is difficult, especially when she's worn out and fans want her attention. "I find it especially challenging when we come off a long tour and fly into town our fans are at the airport waiting for autographs," she said. "We are all exhausted and can't wait to get to our hotels." She added, But then I think if it weren't for their loyalty to us, we wouldn't be who we are today. Besides, I was once one of those." ----- WWE Raw Diva Mickie James is currently suffering from a hyperextended elbow, which has caused her some discomfort and numbness. Due to the injury, she's being used sparingly, but still working because WWE heavily relies on her to help layout the matches, keep the matches going and the fans interested at shows. James is expected to be given some time off from house shows as a result. The injury occurred during the recent European tour, which is why she was taken out of matches except as referee or timekeeper. James believes she is okay enough to work, but officials are being careful as she is invaluable to the division. Trainers feel she should rest another week or two before moving back into regular action. Rajah.com

12/08/08 Monday Night Raw - Philadelphia, PA - 3 Hour Slammy Special
Slammys: Time for the Damn! Moment of the Year hosted by Mickie James and Ron Simmons. Simmons was sporting a nice jacket over his "Damn!" t-shirt. Mickie did the set up, then Ron surveyed the audience before deciding whether to unbutton his jacket. Nominees are Khali's Kiss Cam, C.M. Punk surprising Chavo Guerrero in a Mariachi outfit, Jim Ross in a sailor suit, or Santino injuring the scrotum region last week.

And the Slammy goes to...Khali Kiss Cam. Oh joy. Cue up the Khali theme music, then Khali gingerly limped out on stage sporting a very nice suit. Khali cut a promo in his language, then Singh said awards are a frivolous thing and they shouldn't be so consumed by material possessions. Singh then translated that Khali believes they should focus on the depletion of natural resources so our kids will have a bright future. Khali then lifted his arms in the air and said "Blah!!!!"

Khali started to leave, but then he spotted Mickie. They went for an embrace and a potential kiss because of Khali's unexplainable magnetism, but Jillian Hall cut it off from off stage and started singing. I know that song. Is it Celine Dion with the Titanic theme? Yep, sure is. Howard Finkel and Kung Fu Naki then showed up on stage and did a hand-waving with Jillian. Hacksaw Duggan and Sgt. Slaughter then showed up waving American flags. Meanwhile, Mickie hopped into Khali's arms and they played tonsil hockey. Mickie was a little too into it. Simmons then shouted "Damn!" and everyone stopped. Khali shrugged his shoulders, then he walked off with Mickie. PWtorch.com

Mickie's babyface team is sporting all-red in the Santa's Helper match. Heel divas in green. We've got all six broadcasters on the match calling the action and running through their diva jokes. ECW announcers have seemingly had more air time on this PPV than the previous PPVs this whole year combined. Divas action broke down at 5:00, then Michelle, with a giant red hat on, busted out a Styles Clash on Jillian Hall for the pin and the win. PWtorch.com

12/22/08 Monday Night Raw - Toronto, ONT - Mickie James/Melina vs. Layla/Jillian Hall
A minute into the match, Layla knocked Mickie off the top rope and Mickie sold a left knee injury. Back in the ring, the heel divas worked on Mickie while Regal talked about spending a lot of money on Layla despite the economic situation. Melina finally got her hot tag at 3:00 and worked on Jillian. They blew a spot and Melina nailed the sweep-over leg drop for a two count when Layla broke up the pin. Jillian then smashed Melina with a facebuster and she made a cover, but Mickie broke up the pin. Action broke down, then Melina landed a palm thrust before snapping off her modified Canadian Destroyer on Jillian for the pin and the win. Afterward, Mickie really sold the "babyface pulled out the victory and I'm very very worn out" post-match reaction. Melina comforted her as they cut to break. PWtorch.com

12/29/08 Monday Night Raw - Manchester, NH - Kelly Kelly vs. Melina vs. Mickie James vs. Jillian Hall vs. Candice Michelle vs. Katie Lea - Divas Battle Royal (Winner Faces Beth AT Royal Rumble PPV)
Candice was eliminated like a few seconds into the match. Wow. Jillian then eliminated Kelly a few moments later, much to Santino's delight on commentary. Mickie then dumped Katie and Jillian out simultaneously, leaving us with Melina vs. Mickie. They shared smiles, then circled around the ring before locking up. Santino said Melina looks like a gypsie. Melina then dumped Mickie over the top rope, but she skinned the cat back into the ring. Melina was able to knock Mickie off the apron, though, and Mickie hit the floor to give Melina the win. Terribly short battle royal. Candice must have upset someone, as she had no ring entrance on TV - her calling card - and about 20 seconds in the ring.

As Melina celebrated, Phoenix entered the ring. When Lawler said she had no business going in there, Santino said: "She's just going to let her know she has no chance." Phoenix threw Melina out of the ring. Melina came back and pounded on her on the announce table. Phoenix's Biggest Fan, Rose Menendez, jumped Melina. Santino exclaimed: "Holy macaroni!" Lawler said: "Regal has a permanent snarl, like he ate some bad peanut butter." Cole touted Punk's incredible last 12 months in WWE, listing the big matches and titles he's won. Regal tagged out to Layla a minute in after Punk got the better of him. When Punk turned to tag out, Regal charged and hit him from behind. Mickie entered, but Layla caught her by surprise as Regal was distracting her. Mickie made a comeback at 2:00, known on Raw as the mid-point of the match. The women collided and tagged the men back in. Punk threw rapid fire offense at Regal including three roundhouse kicks to the face. Punk was going to dive onto Regal at ringside, but Regal held Layla as a human shield. Mickie jumped at them instead, taking Layla down as Regal moved out of the way. When Punk stepped onto the ring apron, Regal swept his legs off the apron and Punk flat-backed onto the mat. As Punk reentered the ring to beat the count, Regal caught him with a running knee to the temple for the win. PWtorch.com

Lawler noticed that Santino shaved his unibrow and got highlights in his hair. He said it appeared he got a make-over. Phoenix dominated Melina in the opening minutes. Lawler: "I finally figured out what Divas want in a relationship. Security. Whenever I approach them backstage, that's what they yell." Mendez took a cheapshot at Melina at ringside, drawing Mickie James, Candice Michelle, and Kelly Kelly. They jumped Rosa and Santino. Melina rolled up a distracted Phoenix for the win. PWtorch.com

Melina and Maryse joined Cole and Lawler at ringside. Lawler said he hopes that's what heaven is like. Cole asked Maryse what brings her to Raw. She said she was invited, but she asked Melina what she was doing there. Kelly and Phoenix began. Phoenix dropped Kelly into the turnbuckles, and Kelly took a potentially nasty bump when the back of her head hit the middle turnbuckle. That's not the first time Phoenix just appears to be reckless with the well-being of her opponent. Lawler even characterized it as "reckless." Phoenix saved Jillian from a pin by Mickie, although it was one of those situations where the ref didn't need to "reward" the heels by stopping his count when Phoenix entered the ring since Jillian's shoulders were still down for a full three count with Mickie on top even as Phoenix interfered. Mickie kicked Phoenix and tagged in Kelly, who hit Phoenix with a sunset flip. Awkward finish as Phoenix had to stand there bent over waiting for Kelly to get to the top rope and execute the sunset flip. Kelly also seemed to barely keep her footing as she pushed off the top rope.

Afterward, Mendez attacked Kelly. Mickie made the save. When Melina tried to enter the ring, Maryse yanked her off the apron and DDT'd her onto the floor. The DDT looked nasty, but with all that hair it was tough to tell how hard the impact was, if any. PWtorch.com

Santino joined Cole and Lawler on commentary. Santino said the women have a messy locker room. Lawler asked him how he knew or if he just heard rumors. Santino said he just heard about it. At 2:00 Mickie hot-tagged Melina, who hit a handspring elbow on Phoenix leading to a two count. Melina hit a Thesz press. Phoenix came right back with a backbreaker for a two count. Mickie kicked Santino in the gut when he headed to ringside. Then suddenly Melina schoolgirled a distracted Phoenix from behind for the win. PWtorch.com

03/23/09 Monday Night Raw - Kansas City, MO - Mickie James vs. Santino Marella (w/Beth Phoenix, Rosa Mendez)
Santino Marella stood mid-ring and complained about not being allowed to wrestle in the Diva Battle Royal at WrestleMania. He said he is going to be the winner. Beth Phoenix and Rosa Mendez shot him startled looks. He complained that he isn't being allowed in the match because of his "genitalia." He said he was told if he can beat Mickie James with one hand tied behind his back, he will show he is man enough to be Miss WrestleMania. A graphic showed 17 Divas, leaving eight mystery slots.

Santino tried to intimidate Mickie early, messing with her hair and charging at her. Mickie moved and tripped him to the mat, then tied both of his hands behind his back. Lawler said it looks like she's at a rodeo. Santino stood up and said he doesn't need any hands to beat her. She offered a test of strength. He kicked her to the mat and headbutted her. A second headbutt missed, but she sold it anyway. Santino tried to steamroll her, but she avoided him and then dropkicked him for a soft two count. Santino kicked Mickie and then tried to climb to the top rope. He had trouble getting up there without any hands. Mickie got up. When Mickie swung at Rosa, Beth jumped onto the ring apron and accidentally knocked Santino to the mat. Mickie then hit a spin kick for the win. PWtorch.com

Only the babyface team got a collective ring intro, as the heels were already in the ring. What's the over/under on how ridiculously short this will be? Seven minutes? Maybe less? It opened with Mickie vs. Jillian. Tiffany tagged in. Then Glamazon. Tiffany surprised Katie Lea with a small package at 2:00. That gives new meaning to "ridiculously short" match. Winners: The babyfaces in 2:00.

With the women still in the ring, Santino Marella walked out in a black robe and said he's a modern-day Gloria Steinem and Davey Crockett - an equal rights pioneer. He said he took his case to Jack Tunney, then noted he actually died a few years ago. He said he's challenging the women to a swimsuit competition. He said he's going to prove he has what it takes to be Miss WrestleMania. Lawler said, "This is going to be bad." He revealed his "Mankini" and began dancing. It was a really small black Speedo with some sort of suspender contraption that could also double as a parachute harness. Phoenix freaked out and insisted he put the robe back on. Gail Kim opened the match against Melina. Lawler said that Cole talked about the Diva Battle Royal, but didn't mention the winner. He said they'd hear from Santina later. Lawler said she's Santino's twin sister, "another newcomer to the WWE." Cole said, "Yeah, okay." Lawler said he wants all of the Divas to be drafted to Raw. A brawl broke out at ringside as Mickie gave Natalya a DDT off the second rope for the win. PWtorch.com

Lawler said Santina appears to have recovered from the embarrassment of being stripped topless last night. Lawler said Bri was one of their luckiest picks. Bri hid under the ring, but then both Bella Twins stuck their heads out from under the ring apron. And then Hornswoggle popped up between them. Hornswoggle chased Mendez away from the ring. Jillian and Maryse chased Hornswoggle back under the ring. When they bent over to go after him, he sprayed them with a fire extinguisher. Santino then surprised Jillian with a roll-up for the win. As Santina celebrated on the ring apron, Hornswoggle looked up her skirt and he looked horrified at what he saw. Lawler said Hornswoggle will be scarred for life. Hornswoggle fell over backwards. Lawler said he might have had a mini heart attack. Santina acted bashful when she realized what happened. PWtorch.com

Match action moved to the floor early on. Maryse took control, then she put Mickie in a Camel Clutch back in the ring. If I'm Maryse, I'm upset with Show for stealing my hold moments before my match. But, perhaps it's not a grievance worth airing, but keeping to herself. Mickie then made her comeback and nailed an emphatic DDT for the pin and the win. Jared the Subway Guy then announced her as the winner.

Good to see an actual singles match without Hornswoggle or any other craziness. Still only a three-minutes-and-under match, but a good match for Mickie and Maryse. PWtorch.com

Before Mickie's ring intro, Maryse stood in the ring and spoke in French. She closed in English with: "If I wasn't Maryse, I wouldn't want to be." Kelly hit Jillian early with a flying head scissors. Mickie got a hot-tag at 2:00. Mickie gave a Thesz Press to Maryse for a two count. When Jillian interfered, Kelly knocked her to the floor and leaped off the apron with a flying clothesline. Mayrse joined Cole and Lawler on commentary. She corrected Cole's pronunciation of her name. She said it's "Mah-reese'" rather than "Mauw-reese." Mickie James, Bri Bella, Nikki Bella, Rosa Mendez, Jillian Hall, Beth Phoenix, and Kelly Kelly. First out were Rosa Mendez and Bri Bella in the opening minute. It came down to Mickie, Kelly, and Phoenix within two minutes. Maryse said there's nothing glamorous about Phoenix. Kelly re-entered the ring and dropkicked Phoenix out of the ring. Maryse sprayed Mickie in the eyes with something as the ref was occupied on the other side of the ring. Kelly then kicked Mickie to the floor, not knowing what happened, and got the win. PWtorch.com

Man on man and woman on woman here, then Santino and Chavo got caught up brawling during the divas portion of the match. The distraction allowed Mickie to roll up Beth from behind for the win. Chavo in trouble. Post-match: GM Vickie came out on stage sporting the Miss WrestleMania crown. She confidently said Chavo will be in her corner at Extreme Rules. Santino said he a ton of ideas for their Extreme Rules PPV match. Leaning Tower of Pisa Pepperoni match. Or a Pasta Primavera on a Pole match. Vince Russo special? Lawler said that's the word going around because Mickie has proven she can beat Maryse. Mickie won with a DDT clean. Maryse and Mickie jawed back and forth afterward. Maryse got on the ring apron. Heel divas worked over the Bellas early on in the match to build up to Mickie's hot tag and comeback. Mickie cleaned house on Rosa, then knocked Maryse off the apron, but Beth interjected. Action broke down with the Bellas clearing Beth out of the ring. Chaos then settled down and Mickie was left in the ring with Rosa to smash her with a superkick for the pin. Afterward, Maryse tried to snip at Mickie's heels, but Mickie sent her away. Maryse then directed her frustrations toward Rosa for losing again. PWtorch.com

06/29/09 Monday Night Raw - San Jose, CA - Kelly Kelly vs. Mickie James vs. Beth Phoenix vs. Rosa Mendes
Mickie James defeated Kelly Kelly and Beth Phoenix and Rose Mendez when she pinned Mendez at 5:00 to earn a shot at Maryse's Divas Title at Night of the Champions. Maryse joined in on commentary. As Phoenix punched Mickie, Rosa stepped in to help and it seemed to upset Phoenix. Mickie avoided a Phoenix suplex and then applied an inverted sleeper. Mendez then put Mickie in a sleeper. Kelly jumped on Mendez's back with her own sleeper. Phoenix escaped and shoved the other three into the corner turnbuckle. Kelly got a near fall on Phoenix after a sunset flip. Mickie moved in and went for a pin, but Mendez broke that up with a backslide of her own. Maryse indicated she wanted to face Kelly if she had a choice, almost to the point of seeming to have a crush on her. Mickie eventually finished Mendez with a DDT. Mickie and Maryse had a staredown afterward, then she hugged Kelly afterward. PWtorch.com
