The buxom, 5'3" Midajah (Midajah O'Hearn) was introduced to us in December 1999 as one of 3 young ladies known as Big Poppa Pump's "freaks."  Adapting quickly and eager to learn even to the point of training at the WCW Powerplant, she has gone on to survive as Poppa's one and only "freak."

The seductive Aries, born on March 23 in Seattle, Washington is a blend of Spanish and Norwegian heritage.  While moving several times between Seattle and Mexico during her younger years she discovered a love for being in front of a camera.

At her mother's urging she moved back to Mexico with cousins for her final 2 years of high school and became fluent in Spanish.  Besides her studies Midajah landed major roles in 2 Latin films co-starring in "Thirst For Revenge" and a horror movie called "A Cult Dimension."  "I was a star in Mexico, but that means nothing to Americans, because they have never seen these movies."

After graduating from high school she returned to Seattle and attended Shoreline Community College and eventually transferred to the University Of Washington.  While studying business administration she realized that she really wanted to be an English-Spanish translator. Moving to Los Angeles she received a translator certification and began work as a translator in a workman's compensation office. She also began modeling and worked on the side as a makeup artist.

During her stay in LA she captured the attention of people in the fitness industry because she was different and ethnic.  Loving the fitness world Midajah earned a certification in personal training and nutrition in 1994.  Obtaining more and more jobs in fitness training she eventually had to quit her translating job.  She signed a contract with a body-building supplement company and worked in trade shows and personal appearances.

In December 1999 a WCW representative was in Los Angeles to audition women in the fitness industry for possible roles in the Nitro Girls.  After being hired she was introduced to Steiner who immediately wanted to make her one of his "freaks."  As his valet Midajah has gotten closer to Scott than most people.  "He's very intimidating and strong-minded, so nobody stands in his way."  Although Scott terrifies most people she has become his trusted confidant.  "Not a lot of people have the opportunity to get too close to him because he doesn't allow them to.  He's a very private person and everyone respects that.  He does talk to me though.  Actually if anyone needs anything from him, they ask me to talk to him."

Midajah is unsure how the audience perceives her saying "I haven't really gotten to do a lot in the ring besides prance around... I don't know if the fans see me as very sexy or what."  Recently she has gotten into the action more and says "I love being directly involved in the matches" and "I love what I'm doing right now" but adds that "I don't really see myself as a wrestler though."

Backstage, a production man accidentally bumped into Midajah. Big Poppa Pump arrived and punched him in the face before snapping his ankle around the lead pipe. Midajah spit in the injured man's face and walked away. [wcw.com]

02/18/01 SuperBrawl Revenge PPV - World Title Match Loser Leaves WCW
Big Poppa Pump Scott Steiner with Midajah d. Big Sexy Kevin Nash Big Poppa told Michael Buffer to get out of the ring; he didn't need anyone to tell him how great he was. The champion demanded the production team rerun Sid Vicious' devastating injury. Steiner called Ric Flair, who said the loser of the match would have to leave WCW forever, into the ring. As the referee started counting, the WolfPac music played over the sound system. Two nurses wheeled Big Sexy to the ring in a wheelchair. Nash, in the chair wearing a leg cast, sat at ringside as Steiner told the ref to start the count again. When Big Poppa turned around to gloat, Kevin removed the blanket from his lap, revealing a fake cast. Nash entered the ring and leveled the champion with the belt, scoring the win. Flair went ballistic at ringside, announcing that "he forgot" to announce the match was 2 out of 3 falls. Backstage, DDP made his way down the hall for backup, but Luger and Bagwell attacked him and stuffed him in a production truck. Nash and Steiner took it to the outside, where they continued the fight as Midajah got involved. The champion's freak knocked Big Sexy down with the lead pipe. The Nature Boy got the mic and told the ref it was a falls count anywhere match, prompting Charles Robinson to count the fall on the floor, making it one fall a piece. Steiner pounded on his challenger, but Nash somehow came back, knowing how much was on the line. Big Poppa Pump smashed a steel chair over Nash's head and applied the Steiner Recliner. Big Sexy got out, set, and delivered the Jackknife Powerbomb. As the referee counted the fall, Midajah jumped on him, leading Nash to side slam the vixen. Ric Flair got involved, knocking out Robinson, as Steiner slammed another chair over Nash's head. The champion locked on the Recliner again and second referee Mark Johnson called for the bell, ending Big Sexy's WCW career as SuperBrawl came to a close. [wcw.com]

02/23/01 Internet Rumor
WCW currently plans on eliminating almost all, if not all women from TV very soon. Many women were recently released and Midajah was worked out of her storyline following Kevin Nash injuring her. [Ryan McGavock]

WebMaster's Note: In case you missed it, Monday night Ms. Jones was supposedly injured during The Cat's match.  It would certainly seem that all the women are now gone. Good going Mr. Bischoff.

03/09/01 Internet Rumor
Recently, Midajah told a fan that she was off television selling the injury angle. She also stated that she'd be returning to television at the Knoxville Nitro taping on March 12th, this coming Monday. This isn't guaranteed to be true, but take it for what it's worth. [Joe D'Ambrose]

Last week in Columbus, Ohio, Scott Steiner and Midajah attended the Aro’ Classic and Fitness Expo, signing autographs and meeting with fans. Sources say that Steiner was the hit of the show and it is also good to see Midajah back. Midajah is far from done with World Championship Wrestling. Right now she is out selling an injury but will be returning in the near future if not this very week. [Steve Carrier]

03/12/01 Monday Nitro
Backstage, a cameraman entered The Magnificent Seven's dressing room just in time to see Midajah laid out on the floor. Big Poppa Pump chased the production crew out of the room and screamed for someone to help his freak.

A few minutes later Scott Steiner screamed at his group, demanding to know who attacked Midajah.

Later in the backstage area, The Magnificent Seven watched the tape from the camcorder to try to identify Midajah's attacker. On the tape after everyone left the room, the attacker remained a mystery as they turned the camera away before moving in on Big Poppa's woman. [wcw.com]

03/18/01 Greed PPV  WCW World Title Match Big Poppa Pump Scott Steiner with Midajah d. Diamond Dallas Page
Page spit in the champion's face, setting the tone for the rest of the match. Steiner beat DDP hard around the ringside area, sending him into the crowd in the falls-count-anywhere match. Big Poppa took a crutch from a fan in the crowd and set up a table in front of the Spanish announcer's booth. After breaking through the table, the two continued their fight into a production area and back to ringside. Midajah interfered whenever she could, doing anything to help her "Poppy" retain his title. Despite a brutal beating at the hands of Big Poppa Pump, DDP refused to stay down, kicking out of every pin attempt. Diamond fired back strong, working Steiner over in the corner. Page hit the Diamond Cutter, but Rick Steiner pulled the referee from the ring to break the count. Midajah threw the WCW title to Big Poppa, who smashed it over the challenger's head. Page got to the ropes to break out of the Steiner Recliner, but on the second application, Scott Steiner got the submission win, retaining his WCW title.

03/21/01 Wednesday Thunder  Handicapped Match Big Poppa Pump Scott Steiner with Midajah and The Chosen One Jeff Jarrett d. Dustin Rhodes
Scott Steiner promised Booker T. that Nitro would be the last match of his career. Rhodes had Jarrett in the ring first, staying on top of The Chosen One with a series of fists to his head. Big Poppa turned the tide, pounding Rhodes with big forearms. Dustin rolled Jarrett up in a small package, but Steiner distracted the referee. Midajah got the referee's attention once again, just long enough for Big Poppa to use the lead pipe on Dustin's head. Scott applied the Recliner, gaining the submission win. Booker T. charged the ring for the save after the bell as Thunder took its final bow of the season. [wcw.com]

06/22/01 Internet Rumor
In part two of an interview with former WCW diva Midajah, she said she would gladly work for the new WCW, if asked by the new ownership. She said that it would be a great opportunity for her to work for the company, and she enjoyed her past year in the industry. Also, Midajah said she wouldn't mind taking a few more bumps if needed.

Midajah emphasized that she has a lot of respect for the divas in the WWF, and would be happy in a wrestling role. But when Midajah was asked about Chyna, she said that Chyna would probably "kick her ass" in a match.

Lastly, Midajah said that since she was only in the wrestling industry for one year, she is not exactly sure what led to WCW's downfall. But Midajah said that she has a lot of faith in the McMahons to bring WCW back up to the top, and it was very smart for them to purchase the company. [Samir Nurmohamed]

09/02/01 Internet News
According to Midajah's Official web site she's not doing anything regarding wrestling right now, but she's certainly busy with other interests. Projects in the works include a new series of Midajah videos, a clothing line, a skin care line, a book on fitness (doesn't everybody have one), as well as some new calendars and posters. She also appears in the new movie "The Bubble Boy".

09/07/01 Internet Rumor
The WWF is currently negotiating with Vanessa Sanchez (aka Tygress) mainly due to the fact she is a good talker (as displayed during her time in the Filthy Animals, she helped color commentate on various occasions), and that is supposedly the last female the WWF will bring in for some time. Names such as Midajah have popped up recently, but there is currently no interest in valets who just act as 'eye candy', and are restricted when it comes to in-ring action. [Jon Farrer]

WebMaster's Note: Yeh but such large "puppies" deserve to be just eye candy.

08/09/02 Internet Rumor
It is being reported that the WWE are looking to hire a "sexy Latina female with a good body" in her 20s or 30s. She would be used as a backstage interviewer on RAW or Smackdown, and PPVs. [1Wrestling.com]  WebMaster's Note:  Could this be an opening for Midajah??

10/25/02 Internet News/Rumor
The following was announced on WWE.com Thursday night: World Wrestling Entertainment is happy to announce it has signed Big Poppa Pump Scott Steiner.  WebMaster's Note:  Couple this fact with the rumor above (08/09/02).  Could we possibly see Midajah appear in the WWE soon?  This IS ONLY wishful conjecture and there is NO BASIS that it will actually happen.
