02/04/00 Internet Rumor WCW will be starting up a Women’s division and the current plans have Madusa being the main superstar along with Mona. [Eric James]
02/14/00 Monday Nitro The head of the woman's division, Oklahoma made his way to the ring, telling the Long Island crowd that Madusa would be the guest referee. Singh, taking back the nickname that she bore for years, powered Mona around the ring, as Oklahoma joined Mark and Tony at the table. Mona went for a sunset flip from the apron to the inside, but Oklahoma held onto Singh's arms. Madusa kicked their arms apart, sending OK to the floor. Singh clobbered Madusa in the back of the head and sat down on Mona, as Oklahoma slid into the ring and counted Monster Ripper to victory. [wcw.com]
03/02/00 Internet Rumor WCW's Mona, who was supposed to play the role of the 'Scream' ambush-lady, has been very busy backstage helping out WCW's women. This is the sole reason for her not fulfilling her angle, because she's been in the Power Plant on more than a frequent basis this week working with such ladies as Miss Hancock, Paisley, Daphne, and more on the basics of wrestling. So, chances are we might see another rebirth of the Ladies Division, and of course; more cat-fights. [wcwuniverse.com]
03/11/00 Saturday Night Mona finally reappeared on Saturday Night. She had a match against Little Jeanie. Mona pretty much controlled the match and ended up winning.
03/18/00 Saturday Night Mona faced off against Dee Dee Venturi. Dee Dee used some underhanded methods to try and keep control of the match. Then, Mona's opponent from the previous week on Saturday Night, Little Jeanie, came out and helped Dee Dee double team Mona. For this, Dee Dee was disqualified and the match was given to Mona.
03/25/00 Saturday Night Mona and Fantasy teamed up against Dee Dee Venturi and Little Jeanie. Jeanie and Dee Dee controlled most of the match, tagging each other in often. They beat up on Fantasy pretty good until she finally got an opportunity to tag Mona in. Mona won the match by pinning Jeanie with a roll up.
05/03/00 Wednesday Thunder The New Blood members carried weapons with them as they entered the ring. Bischoff stated that if the Millionaires' Club wanted guerrilla warfare, they got it. Flair and the Club came to the stage and challenged the New Blood to an over the top rope battle royal, stating that the last man in the ring would get a shot at the WCW Title at the Great American Bash.
The Millionaires' Club charged the ring and all 22 men battled it out for a shot at the world title. Soon, more WCW superstars entered the ruckus, including Madusa, Asya and Mona who were rather quickly eliminated. [wcw.com]
06/23/00 Internet Rumor The current plan is for Mona to return with Jimmy "The Mouth of the South" Hart as her manager. [Justin Fritz]
06/23/00 Internet News WCW's Miss Mona was backstage with Gorgeous George at the ECW TV taping in Chicago. She was not looking for work and told other wrestlers that she is still under WCW contract. [Fred Cook]
06/23/00 Internet News Mona (Nora Greenwald) was backstage at ECW TNN tapings but is still under contract to WCW, which hasn't been using her ever since she was supposed to be in a movie character as a mystery person causing havoc and was then forgotten. [Zach Zeltzer]
08/11/00 Internet Rumors Reports indicate, Nora Greenwald (formerly Mona from WCW) has been working out and training at the IPW school in Florida in preparation for her shot with the WWF. She signed with the WWF just last week. [Joe Starson] Mona is likely to be brought into the WWF to feud with Lita, as officials feel together they could put on top quality women's matches, whilst at the same time wowing the male crowds with their 'features', shall we say. [Jonny Farrer] Mona has officially signed with the WWF; terms of the contract have yet to be announced. Expect Mona to debut ASAP. [Shawn Stanford]
08/17/00 Internet Rumor By now, I am sure everyone has heard the news of Mona signing, or at least agreeing to sign with the World Wrestling Federation. The WWF is very happy about this new acquisition, as they feel that she can bring a lot to the Federation. She will be a valet, and she will participate in the Women's Division. The WWF has very big plans for Mona, and they are very happy that she decided to come up north, to the "Good Old WWF." Look for Mona to battle with Lita and Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley, and become the Women's Champion pretty soon. [Jason Hamil]
08/25/00 Internet Rumors Now that Lita is the World Wrestling Federation's Women Champion, look for the Division to be re-launched with frequent title defenses. Trish, Stephanie, Kat, Terri, Ivory, and Jacky will all participate in the division. Look for Mona to be introduced into the federation sometime after Summerslam, posing what may be the most serious threat to Lita's Women's Title. Look for these two to have a great feud. It may go as far as Mona being a valet for Edge and Christian, but this is not confirmed. [Jason Hamil]
09/01/00 Internet Rumors There is some talk of bringing in Mona as a member of the Right to Censor. [Steve Carrier] Upon Mona's debut into the federation, expect her to trick many superstars, disguising herself as a friend of all. The current rumors suggest that she will join up with RTC is their quest to clean up the federation. Look for them to target Steve Blackman, Rikishi, and the Dudley Boys, saying that their behavior is unacceptable. Look for Mona to begin feuding with Lita and Trish Stratus shortly after her debut in the WWF. [Jason Hamil]
09/08/00 Internet Rumors Mona has apparently officially now signed her WWF contract and will be debuting on federation programming very soon. She is supposed to go straight after the women's title belt upon her arrival. [Brandon Newman] It is being planned to have Nora Greenwald, a.k.a. Mona, to wear long gowns with absolutely no cleavage showing at all when she joins the RTC. Supposedly they are going to make her the opposite of all the other women in the WWF. [Nathan Mayers]
09/15/00 Internet Rumors The latest addition to the WWF roster, Nora Greenwald, a/k/a Mona from WCW, has been selected by WWF writers to head up the new women's division. Greenwald is expected to start feuding with Lita upon her debut which could be any time now. [Chokeslam Newsletter]
09/22/00 Internet News & Rumors Rumors have been flying left and right as to Mona's role when she enters the World Wrestling Federation. The biggest rumor, as of now, has been her "heel" role and entering the RTC as the first woman RTC member. These rumors are completely false and Mona has not gotten word as to what her role will be when she enters the company. [Mark Peters] Shannon Rose of ProWrestling Daily had a chance to speak to Mona last night (9/16) and discuss a couple items of interest. She said that all the rumors of her premiering soon as a heel and part of the RTC are that just that, a "rumor". She said she is getting paid, but has not been told anything about how she will be brought in. [Jeremy Bratcher] Reports indicate that Mona is set to debut after Unforgiven but her role as of yet has not been decided. The WWF will have another creative meeting soon where her role as well as the rest of the women's roles will be decided. [Joe Starson]
10/06/00 Internet Rumor Mona is currently being sent to Memphis to work a package with Bobcat (girl from the MTV Special True Life: I'm a Pro Wrestler, as well as the Ho who won the Hardcore Title) in order to develop her skills for her WWF debut. [Brandon Newman] WebMaster's Note: Like how many skills does she have to develop? She seemed pretty sharp to me in the WCW.
10/19/00 Internet News & Rumors Mona wrestled in a dark match at this week's Raw is War, which indicates that she will be making her television debut in the next few weeks. Mona has been rumored to join the Right to Censor upon her debut. Mona is expected to feud with Lita, and Stephanie upon her turn, to get things cooking in the Women's Division, rather than having Jacky and Lita battle every other week. [Jason Hamil] Nora Greenwald, who wrestled as Mona in WCW, has been wrestling as Ophelia in recent WWF dark matches, and is expected to use the name on a permanent basis. "Ophelia" was the name of Hamlet’s sister in the Shakespeare play "Hamlet", and, in view of the fact that the play was set in the United Kingdom, and that William Regal recently attempted to read the entire play on Raw is War (Stone Cold Steve Austin stopped the recital via a Stone Cold Stunner), it is a fair bet that Ophelia will be aligned with Regal. In the play, Ophelia loses her sanity, which, if the WWF use the traits of the Shakespearean character, could provide a few interesting moments. [Aidan Coughlan] To clarify a report about Nora Greenwald’s role in the World Wrestling Federation, and the connections with her supposed gimmick to the character Ophelia in the Shakespeare play Hamlet, Ophelia was in fact Hamlet’s love interest, and not his sister. Furthermore, the text was primarily based in Denmark. A number of people sent word that William Regal had a valet in Memphis with the name "Miss Ophelia", so it appears to be even more apparent that Greenwald, signed in August following her release from World Championship Wrestling, will align with Regal. There was talk of placing Greenwald in the Right to Censor faction, but the idea looks to have been cast aside. [Aidan Coughlan] Mona, the former Miss Madness, recently wrestled in a dark match on Raw from the Joe Louis Arena in Detroit, Michigan last Monday night. She wrestled, not as Mona, but as Lady Ophelia. She took on Ivory but was defeated. The next night, during Smackdown tapings, the former Mona, again wrestled in a dark match as Lady Ophelia against Jacqueline. Jacqueline defeated her as well. There is talk of Mona or Lady Ophelia teaming with the new European champion Steven Regal. Maybe becoming his valet. [Keith Livesay]

Immediately, Crash, accompanied by his cousin Molly Holly, came to the ring with his hand tied behind him! Angle beat Crash down, but when his back was turned, Crash got up and untied his hand and started beating on the Champion! Angle recovered and started throwing Crash around the ring. At one point, Molly got up on the ring apron, distracting Angle, and nearly allowing Crash to get the win! Angle kicked out, and pinned Crash for the win. After the match, Angle got a steel chair and started pummeling Crash! Just then, Crash's cousin Hardcore Holly ran out and beat Angle away. As Hardcore beat on Angle, Edge and Christian ran out to even the odds in Kurt's favor. And then the Undertaker ran out! The Dead Man took out Edge and Christian, forcing Kurt Angle to run to the back! [wwf.com]
11/16/00 Thursday Smackdown T&A and Trish Stratus -- also known as the T&APA -- took on Crash and Hardcore Holly, accompanied by Molly Holly. Hardcore was soon able to roll up Test for the win! When do we get a Molly/Lita match?? Talk about a slobberknocker.
11/27/00 Monday Night Raw Test, Albert and Trish Stratus -- the T&APA -- took on Hardcore Holly, Crash and Molly Holly in six-person tag team action. Hardcore soon dragged Trish into the ring and fed her to Molly. As T&A double-teamed Hardcore, test accidentally kicked Albert. Hardcore then hit Albert with a dropkick to the jaw and picked up the win for his team. [wwf.com]
12/01/00 Internet Rumors WWF officials are very impressed with Molly Holly, especially after Smackdown (see above). Not only can she hit the high spots, but the WWF also considers her as a good worker of matches. A WWF Women's Title run will probably be in the near future. [Blake Wolfson] Molly Holly has been having a great attitude in the back with the other superstars. Not only has she had a great attitude with the other workers, but the other workers respect her and her wrestling abilities and give her the respect that she deserves. [Mark Peters]
12/04/00 Monday Night Raw William Regal, who lost his European Title to Crash on Saturday at the UK Pay-Per-View Rebellion, came to the ring carrying the title he stole from Crash. He demanded that Molly Holly and Crash come out to the ring and fight again for the title. Crash and Regal took it to each other in a very physical match, which Regal won after forcing Crash to tap out of the Regal Stretch. Then, Regal went on to put Molly in the Stretch! Hardcore Holly ran out to save his two relatives. [wwf.com]
12/07/00 Thursday Smackdown Molly Holly took on Trish Stratus, with the winner to get a Women's Title shot against Ivory at Armageddon. Trish's team, T&A, soon came to ringside. When they tried to interfere, Crash came to ringside and cleaned house with a garbage can lid! The lid soon found its way into the ring, and Trish nailed Molly with the lid! Molly won by DQ, but since neither diva won by pinfall, no clear No. 1 contender for Armageddon was determined. After the match, Crash went into the commissioner's office, where Debra told him that Molly, Ivory and Trish would compete in a Triple Threat Match for the championship at the Pay-Per-View! [wwf.com]
12/10/00 Armageddon PPV Both Trish Stratus and Molly Holly challenged Ivory for her Women's Championship in this Triple Threat match. The three beauties held nothing back in this intense battle. Ivory and Trish reluctantly worked together to suplex Molly, but their alliance lasted just a few seconds. As they fought, Molly caught them both with a bodypress from the top rope. When Trish went for a hurricanrana, Molly floored her. But before Molly could get the pin, Ivory threw her out of the ring. Ivory then pinned Trish to keep her title! T&A then came out to intimidate Molly, but Crash came out to the rescue. Crash challenged T&A to come into the ring, and as they laughed at him, down came the Acolytes! Faarooq and Bradshaw kicked some T&A ass as the crowd cheered! [wwf.com] WebMaster's Note: Unfortunately this "intense battle" only lasted about 1-1/2 to 2 minutes, but on the bright side - it was on just before the main event. Just about the time the whole thing really heated up it was over.
