02/21/00 Internet Rumor Nicole Bass made her way backstage to NITRO this past Monday to meet with some friends. She has been especially close with Symphony, who was formerly Ryan Shamrock in the WWF. Both ladies were released at the same time and for similar contractual reasons. However, when Bass got to NITRO, she along with her husband were asked to leave. I'm not sure if they eventually got in or what, but I can confirm they were asked to leave at least once, which they did. Bass is currently in the midst of a $120 million lawsuit against the WWF, but anyone in their right mind would probably predict that she not a leg to stand on in this case. [Mitch Newton]

09/22/00 Internet News Nicole Bass was on hand for a live telephone interview on the Howard Stern show this morning. Bass, who was arrested for biting the thumb of a police officer this past weekend, claimed she was innocent of all charges. Throughout the constant, "are you a man or a woman?" talk, Bass claimed she was brought into a women's prison, and was actually mistaken by a couple of guards as a man. Other than that, she wasn't allowed to speak of any details in her recent incident. In other news, and most notable news, Bass mentioned her sexual harassment while in the World Wrestling Federation. In addition, she stated that she was still wrestling in some independent circuits, and said, "Who knows, I may go to WCW." This could either mean that she WANTS to go to World Championship Wrestling, or that she has been in talks with World Championship Wrestling. Stay tuned for the latest developments between Bass and WCW. [Keith Wilcutt]
09/29/00 Internet Rumor Everyone remember Nicole Bass? She was in attendance Monday night at WCW Nitro. However, it has been clearly stated that she is not under contract with World Championship Wrestling. [Mike Abbots]
10/19/00 Internet Rumors The information released by LIWF promoter Bobby Lombardi saying Nicole Bass struck a deal with the LIWF about a month ago is false. The release from Lombardi said Nicole had signed with LIWF to train at their LIWF Doghouse with LIWF phenom Tower of Torture. Nicole visited once, but nothing was signed. Bobby wanted Nicole to come out in a dog collar, Nicole didn't approve of it. Bobby did say Nicole could use the ring at the Doghouse (training center) whenever she wanted, and could train with ToT. In regards to the rumors of Nicole going to the big 2 anytime soon, she can't sign with WCW until the lawyers reach an agreement in her lawsuit she has with the WWF. Nicole filed a sexual harassment suit sometime last year against the WWF. She is not looking to get back into the WWF, but WCW is on her mind. Nicole also goes to court on November the 24th for the "cop biting" incident. Nicole and her lawyers are aiming to prove that the charges were trumped up. [Marc Middleton]
12/01/00 Internet News The LAW reported Tuesday that Nicole Bass was hospitalized today due to pancreas problems. I keep in regular touch with Nicole's husband Bob. The day before yesterday, he mentioned that Nicole had been sick with the flu. I'll get more on this in the next few days. [Marc Middleton] As previously posted on PWI, Nicole Bass is in the hospital, and is expected to be there for a long time. She has no medical insurance either. The doctors told her husband Bob today there's a 50/50 chance she will survive. She hasn't eaten anything since Thursday. In the hospital she's only allowed 9 ice cubes to suck on a day. She has a very serious infection in her pancreas. She's gone into shock and doesn't recognize anyone. Doctors are trying to get the poison out of her bloodstream and by today's work, her blood levels are looking a little better. She's heavily sedated, can't move her lips, living off an IV and totally dehydrated. Send your donations, cards and wishes to: Nicole Bass PO Box 790321 Middle Village, NY 11379 Marc and the rest of the PWI staff will keep you updated on Nicoles' situation. [Justin Moore]
12/22/00 Internet News Nicole Bass, former Extreme Championship Wrestling and World Wrestling Federation performer, continues to struggle against her pancreatic infection in the hospital. Bass is going to have to have her IV moved to her right arm because of an infection in her left arm. Unfortunately she has been getting extremely depressed over the situation she is in as she continues to lose weight and the thoughts of mounting health costs have began to settle into her mind. [Nathan Mayers]
12/29/00 Internet News Nicole Bass is still in the hospital and looks like her condition will be not getting better any time soon. Nicole has already lost 185 pounds in weight and continues to be fed via intravenous. Nicole’s husband, Bob, is weary about his wife’s recovery. However, he believes that Nicole will “kick” her illness. Nicole is still expected to remain in the hospital for another 6-8 weeks. [Nick Evanish]
