07/19/04 Monday Night Raw
The music of Chris Jericho played in the arena as he was in the ring for the Highlight Reel! Jericho welcomed us to the Highlight Reel and he then said that tonight he has ten guests! Jericho then introduced us to the ten finalists of the RAW Diva Search and they made their way down the aisle. Jericho asked if we were excited and to take a look, because tonight starting at 10PM to 4AM EST, the fans get to vote for their favorite diva, and the diva with the least votes will be eliminated next week!

The ladies introduced themselves, and they were Michelle, Christy, Julie, Camille, Maria, Tracie, Carmella, Chandra, Amy and Joy. Jericho said that there is a saying around here, and that is that anything can happen. Jericho said that anything can happen because Eric Bischoff has an immunity envelope hidden, and whoever finds it cannot and will not be eliminated this week no matter what! So we are going back to Bischoff's office and search for that envelope right now! All the girls and Jericho hopped over the barricade and went through the crowd. Jericho said that he is the Pied Piper, except these aren't rats! Jericho said that it could be anywhere in the office, as they went into the backstage area.

Jericho went to see if Bischoff was inside, and he wasn't. The girls went in and Jericho told them to ransack the office to find the envelope. The girls went inside and tore up the office looking for the envelope and Bischoff's office is getting trashed! Bischoff walked in and he was furious! Bischoff asked what is going on here, and said that he has real diva's out there and then went on to say that there is no immunity, because unless you idiots know it or not, this contest is my contest, and it's his $250,000 up for grabs. Bischoff forced the girls to tell him who put them up to it. Bischoff said that Jericho does not run RAW, Bischoff does, and if they mess with him, they are going to find out the hard way that it is the dumbest thing they have ever done. WWE's Diva Search, the double-edged sword of yet another Vince McMahon marketing idea has caused another controversial rift among the talent pool.

As was reported here at TWH.com, the contractual payoff of $250,000 has angered many WWE Divas due to the fact that the total sum is nearly double the amount of what some current Divas make in a year.

Also, the fact that the contest has been dominated by "known" talent such as Playboy Playmates and other D-level celebrities, many of the aspiring semi-finalists feel that due to the WWE's pre existing relationship with Playboy enterprises, the semi-finalist, Carmella Decesare who is also the reiging 2004 Playmate of the Year, may have the contest secured in her favor.

Not helping any matters is the fact that Descare appeared with semi-finalists Candice Beckman and Nina Hardin on Monday's episode of RAW without the prior notification of the other semifinalists. Word on the street is that some of the other contestants have contacted legal representation in preparation for a possible release from the contest.

Not wishing to endure yet another domino effect in regards to talent loss, the WWE is working hard to appease the semifinalists so that they do remain for the duration of the contest. [ Delon Sykes, TheWrestlingHolics.com ]

07/26/04 Monday Night Raw
The show opened up with the 10 Diva Search Girls dancing in the backstage area and The Coach said that we are living and you are looking at the ten finalists for the quarter million RAW Diva Search. Based on your votes, one of these ten beautiful women will be eliminated right now. Will it be Joy, Amy, Chandra, Carmella, Tracie, Maria, Camille, Julia, Christy or Michelle? It's time to find out.

The Coach walked by the girls with the envelope and the crowd in attendance were booing as they don't want to see any of these girls eliminated. The Coach made all the girls paranoid by walking in front of them and then he stopped in front of Julia and gave her the unfortunate news that she is eliminated. The Coach congratulated the rest of the ladies because they made it to the next week of the RAW Diva Search. Coach told the girls that as the competition goes along, it's going to get tougher and tougher. Now later on, this is their special assignment. They will have the opportunity to verbally seduce a former WWE Superstar and ladies, be at your seductive best. So get ready and good luck.

Later, the Coach was shown backstage with the Diva Search Girls again. The Coach told the ladies that we are all set and he explained the rules; they have 20 seconds to verbally seduce a former WWE Superstar. Coach told them to be at their seductive best and he brought them one by one into a room where former WWE Superstar Kamala was behind a curtain. This is possibly the worst segment ever seen in the history of WWE RAW as it has no point and nothing came out of it. Well, I guess this will give the fans something to base their votes on for their favorite Diva for the quarter million RAW Diva Search. During the segment, the girls tried to verbally "seduce" Kamala as he stood there and acted like an idiot.

08/02/04 Monday Night Raw
The 9 remaining RAW Divas were shown backstage and next, one of these beautiful contestants will be voted right off of RAW! After the commercial break, The Coach said that you are looking at the 9 remaining gorgeous RAW Diva contestants. Just who will be eliminated here tonight? The Coach told the ladies that he has in his hand the envelope with the name of the individual who will be eliminated right now. The Coach walked behind the ladies and stopped behind Tracie and then he walked over to Camille and told her that he's sorry, she is eliminated. Coach told the ladies to gather around because it's time for their assignment tonight. Tonight will be the Diva Contestant Campaign Competition. Since it's an election year, each one of them will be given 20 seconds to tell the audience why they should vote for them. They can wear whatever they want and say and do whatever they want. The Coach wished them good luck and later tonight, it will be the Diva Debate!

Later, we were taken to the backstage area with The Coach and the 8 remaining WWE RAW Divas and the girls will have 20 seconds to tell you why they want you to vote for them. Each of the girls gave their reasons individually and they were given 20 seconds. And now it's time to think about your vote and later tonight, you will see the Divas in their bikinis, live on stage.

About 3/4 of the way thru the show, the Coach was shown in the arena and he said that it's time of the week where they turn it over to the fans and they vote for their favorite RAW Diva Contestant. With that, he brought out the Divas and you can head on over to WWE.com for information on voting and photos of the girls. 08/09/04 Monday Night Raw
The Coach was shown in the ring with the eight remaining Quarter of a Million Dollar RAW Diva Contestants and we have Joy, Amy, Chandra, Carmella, Tracie, Maria, Christy and Michelle! The Coach told the ladies that it is now time for one of them to be eliminated. The votes are in and in this envelope; Coach has the name of the Diva that will be eliminated right now. Keep in mind, whoever is eliminated will be asked to leave the ring and to leave the building immediately. The Coach started to make the announcement when Evolution's music hit in the arena and Randy Orton made his way out to the ring and he is the number one contender for the World Heavyweight Title and this Sunday night at Summer Slam, he battles Chris Benoit for the Championship.

The Coach handed the mic to Randy Orton and Randy said let's get this over with, why not let him do the honors? And the loser is... Chandra! Awww, schucks, she won't be buying her sister that car now will she? Randy told Chandra to get it over with because this is his stage now. Look at her now, Chandra is leaving the ring a loser. Is she shedding a tear? She's keeping those emotions deep down inside and those emotions are failure and denial. She's leaving the ring a loser just like Chris Benoit is going to do this Sunday at Summer Slam. And that's not the only similarities that they have. Chris Benoit will have those same emotions as he walks up the ramp with his back facing Randy Orton, feeling as if he is going to cry; hiding those emotions, the denial and everything that will set in Sunday at Summer Slam. And it's got to hurt deep down inside knowing that everything you've worked your entire life for has been lost. Whether it be 250 grand or whether it's the World Heavyweight Championship that you're going to lose.

Later, the Coach was shown in the backstage area and he said that it is now time for the RAW Diva Contestant competition. Since it's been hot all summer long, the seven remaining Diva Contestants have been given 25 seconds to sell you an ice cream cone. Who has the sweetest sell? You decide. They started with Joy, who was the only girl to cover herself in the ice cream in an attempt to sell the ice cream. The other Diva wannabes tried to verbally sell the ice cream as it looked like Joy was the only one who had the idea in this contest.  Coach said that's some stiff competition but remember, you'll have another chance to cast your vote when you see the Divas, live in their bikinis later on tonight.

Stacy Keibler's music hit in the arena and she made her way out to the ring with Victoria and Nidia for a six woman tag team match with Stacy, Nidia and Victoria against Jazz.  after the match while Nidia, Victoria and Stacy Keibler celebrated their win in the ring, Trish Stratus' music hit and she made her way out alongside Tyson Tomko. Trish had a word with Molly, Gail and Jazz and then she turned over and had a word with Stacy, Nidia and Victoria and Stacy had a smile on her face after the conversation. Whatever it is, every Diva in the ring agreed to it and they all left the ring together as the commentators speculated as to whether or not they were going on strike.

The seven Diva hopefuls were shown in the ring in their bikinis and The Coach said that it's the time you've all been waiting for... it's time for the voting to begin. With that, The Coach read off the numbers to vote for each Diva Hopeful. As the Diva wannabes were dancing around the ring, strutting their stuff, the music of Trish Stratus hit in the arena and she made her way out to the ring with all the WWE Divas following behind her. Trish got in the ring and said sorry to interrupt their little contest, but she just spoke to Eric Bischoff who has graciously accepted a little idea that she had for Summer Slam. So in the spirit of the summer games and in the spirit of competition, we the seven divalicious divas will be facing the diva wannabes in a good old fashioned game of Diva Dodgeball! So good luck losers, I mean ladies because you are going to need it. The WWE Divas then brought out a ball and threw it at the Diva Hopefuls and then they left the ring to Trish's theme song. It is being reported that Diva Search Contestant, Carmella is the girlfriend of Cleveland Browns Quarterback, Jeff Garcia. This story was reported in the Cleveland Plain Dealer. There is also talk that Carmella is getting better treatment backstage because of her connections to Playboy. Many people have her down as the favorite for the Diva Search. [ PowerWrestling.com ]

----- In a recent interview with WWE Byte This, Matt Hardy had some unkind words for WWE's Diva Search, while articulating the viewpoint of most hardcore WWE fans. The following quote was transcribed by PWTorch.com:

Well, these girls already have an uphill battle to begin with because the WWE fans are WWE fans and that's what they come in to the arenas to see, that's what they tune in their TV to see. And I understand the concept behind it [but] I don't really know how successful it's going to be on that level because our WWE fans, they respect the people like myself, and people like Edge, people who have busted their asses for years and years and years and really got a providing where they are and even the girls, like Lita, who's had a broken neck, or like Trish, who has got a broken hand right now, these girls who bust their ass to get where they are. Just when you have some people walk in who seem like their models off the street and maybe using the WWE to head into something else, it'll be hard for the girls to garner respect. So, as far as the concept, I understand it. As far as generating interest and trying to put some pretty girls on TV to be the next diva, as far as our fans respecting it, I don't know." 08/15/04 Summer Slam PPV
The Coach was shown on the court and it is time for Diva Dodgeball! The first team consists of Joy, Amy, Tracie, Maria, Christy and Michelle and that's Team Dream! Team Divas consists of Trish Stratus, Molly Holly, Stacy Keibler, Jazz, Gail Kim, Nidia and Victoria! And the referees are Earl Hebner and Michael Chioda. Coach explained the rules of Diva Dodgeball and if you are hit by a ball, you are eliminated immediately. If you catch a ball, the person who threw the ball is eliminated immediately. It is all up to the referee and no arguing. Coach said that one of the RAW Divas has already been eliminated; they don't want to make it two nights in a row, do they? The RAW Divas won the match with only one of the girls getting eliminated. After the match, Trish argued with referee Earl Hebner over Gail Kim's elimination. The WWE Divas then got in an argument and a little bit of a brawl over their loss. [ PowerWrestling.com ]

08/16/04 Monday Night Raw
The Coach was shown with the RAW Diva Search Girls and we are about to find out who will be voted off tonight. Will it be Joy, Amy, Carmella, Maria, Tracie, Christy or Michelle? Before we get to that, they asked each Diva if they could vote off a fellow contestant, who would they vote off and why?

Michelle: Carmella for the simple reason that she is extremely busy and she is just in it to win another contract and not make it a career with the WWE.

Christy: Carmella, only because she doesn't want it and all the rest of the girls do.

Maria: Carmella, just because she doesn't seem to put as much effort into each thing. She kind of reminds everyone of a dish rag and how she acts and everything. She doesn't have the enthusiasm.

Tracie: Carmella, because she does not feel as excited and wants this as much as every one of the Divas. I really want this and I have all the time and strategy to do it, I only wish she did too.

Carmella: Joy. I hate this because I don't want to say anything negative but just because she is married and has babies and it would be really hard to find the time to do this for a full commitment.

Amy: Carmella, because she doesn't really want to be here. She's made fun of the wrestlers, laughed at all the tests to prove themselves to the audience.

Joy: Carmella, because she hasn't been a team player. We love having her around and she's a beautiful asset to the team but she wasn't there for Diva Dodgeball and we had to do it without her. 

Now that we know who the contestants want off, let's find out who the audience did vote off. And the diva going home tonight is Michelle.

08/23/04 Monday Night Raw
Jonathan Coachman is in the ring as he introduces the six RAW Diva Contestants. They walk down the ramp as Coach holds down the bottom rope. The RAW Divas gets into the ring as the Coach tells us it is time for the elimination time! Coach has an envelope in his hand. When they are eliminated, they will leave the ring and the arena. Coach tells us it is time to find out who is going home. Coach says "Tracie, you are eliminated!" Tracie hugs the Divas and leaves the ring. Coach says it is down to five and now it is time for their weekly assignment. Tonight their assignment is to do something they wanted to do when they started. They have two minutes to tell the Coach how great he really is. Coach says since two minutes isn't enough, so he wants to make it five minutes.... Wait a minute!

The Rock's theme hits in the arena as the fans in the arena go wild! Coach is shocked as the Diva Contestants are all happy that the Rock is in the house! The Rock takes the microphone and says Coach came out to talk about how great he is, but he will give Coach five seconds to leave the ring. Coach puts the hands up and Coach leaves before five seconds. Rock says this is his show, anytime and any place. Rock tells him to take his ass to the back. The Rock has to say that the Rock has come back to Anaheim!

The Rock looks at the Divas as he gets a little big. Rock says the Divas are looking fine and beautiful. The fans in the arena chant that they want pie as the Rock knows what the Divas want. They are saying damn that is the Rock and I am getting so wet. The Rock says no, because its because of the lights. The Rock says the Divas should be excited because they have a chance to be a RAW Diva. Rock tells Lillian Garcia hello as he says easy big fellow. Lillian Garcia used to work at the sperm bank and got fired at drinking at the job. The Rock says he is kidding as he asks which Diva is Carmella. He greets Carmella as the Rock says he heard something. The Rock has heard that the other fellow Divas hate her. The Rock says they tried to vote her off last week. The Rock says the Wrestler's in the back didn't want the Rock in the WWE when he came, but he became the best thing that hit the WWE. The Rock tells Carmella she has to believe in herself. The Rock asks Carmella what she thinks and it doesn't matter what she thinks! The Rock says they were asked to make ice cream cones a few weeks ago. The Rock says that was very, very entertaining. Actually, it wasn't. The fact of the matter is that no one wants to see them eating ice cream, but pie! The Rock asks if anyone in the back can bring out some pies.

The music of Tajiri hits as he has returned to WWE RAW! Tajiri walks down the ramp with some pie. The Rock says they are going to have a pie eating contest here in the O.C.! The Rock asks if there are any pie eating fans in the crowd? Strudel? The Rock says they can eat the pie sexily, or anyway they want. The Rock says they have twenty seconds and they start now. The Rock says before they begin, Tajiri, what is your favorite type of pie? Tajiri hesitates as someone in the crowd says sushi! Tajiri says poongt'o'ng pie. The Rock says they need to party as the Rock gives Joy a pie. The Rock gives Joy a pie. Joy is going to challenge Carmella to a match, down and dirty. She eats the pie as the fans boo in the arena. Amy takes the pie and licks the pie as if she is licking some major poontang pie! As the clock ticks off, she is still licking some pie. Carmella takes the pie and she puts the pie in her hand and puts it on her breasts. Carmella even feeds Tajiri! Maria takes the pie as she puts it on her nose and licks it off. Maria licks as if it was real pie... again! The fans go wild in the arena as she says her panties have been hungry all evening. She sits on the pie as...

La Resistance and the Coach comes out. Coach says he is sick of the Rock embarrassing him every time he comes to RAW. Coach says the Rock's show is over and La Resistance and the Coach are going to give the Rock a People's ass whoppin of a life time. The Rock tells the ladies to leave the ring and tells Coach, Just Bring It, bitch! [ PowerWrestling.com ]

In yet another incident involving Carmella DeCesare, she was involved in a wild bar fight last night at Tramp's Nightclub in Cleveland. The fight was reportedly over NFL QB Jeff Garcia. DeCesare reportedly rushed Christin Hine, 32, and slapped her, before continuing the verbal and physical assault. After being broken up, the Playmate of the Year screamed "I'm going to kill you!"

And, yet, the incident still wasn't over. On her way out, Carmella stood up on a platform and kicked Hine in the head. While the paperwork is only filed from the victim's point of view, a witness at the bar backs up the account. However, Carmella's lawyer denies the claims. The woman was not hospitalized, but reports indicate this was not a one-time incident. Carmella reportedly called the woman several times leaving threatening messages, again, something Carmella denies. [ WrestlingWire.net ]

08/30/04 Monday Night Raw
The music of Stacy Keibler hit in the arena as he made her way out to the ring and she will be taking the place of the Coach here tonight because he was in action earlier on. She then introduced the remaining five Diva's out to the ring, those being Joy, Amy, Christy, Maria and Carmella. Stacy then announced Maria as the eliminated Diva. Maria hugged the others and then gave Carmella the finger. Stacy said that they are going to have a contest called diss the Diva. Chad Patton the referee then came out to make sure no one got physical. Joy went first and felt her boobies, and then spanked Christy. She said Carmella talks a lot of shit, and she has a gap so wide, you could drive right through there! Amy was next, she said Joy needs to learn to lick a pie, and Christy needs to calm down, and then got in the face of Carmella and called her a bitch! Carmella was next. She said that Amy was jealous of her, and that Joy was a great role model, talking shit. Carmella said that she hopes Christy wins if Carmella doesn't. Christy said she is hot, and will burn them. She said Amy had lips like fish and called Carmella a gutter slut and then did the splits! Stacy then said it was time to vote, and we are down to the final four! Christy, Carmella, Amy and Joy! All of the earlier advertising stated that the final night of the RAW Diva Search would be September 13th, the night of RAW following the Unforgiven PPV. However, it looks as if things have changed as the WWE has sent an e-mail to the WWE.com newsletter subscribers stating that the Diva Search will now end on September 20th. [ Rajah.com ]

09/06/04 Monday Night Raw


Stacy is in the ring as she shows us a suitcase with a quarter of a million dollars. What will they do for the money? Let's find out! Stacy introduces the ladies and says that before we have an elimination we are going to see what these Divas got. We are having a arm wrestling tournament! The winner gets to dump a whole thing of Texas chilli on the other 3 girls!

First is Amy versus Christy, Christy beats her easily. The second match is Carmella vs. Joy. Carmella wins. The finals is Christy vs. Carmella and Christy wins! She dumps Chilli on the girls one at a time, pretty funny stuff indeed. We have an elimination next and Stacy lets us know that Amy has been eliminated by the WWE fans. Last night, Diva Search contestant, Amy was injured during her arm wrestling match. It looks like she either broke or dislocated her arm last night and she had to go to the hospital. In a video clip on WWE.com she talks about getting hurt in the arm wrestling contest & then talks about Carmella. She was then escorted out to her car by Earl Hebner and Sgt. Slaughter, who ended up having to drive her to the hospital because she was crying and in so much pain. Amy of course, was the Diva eliminated by the fans last night, so it wasn’t a very good night for her. [ Rajah.com ]

09/09/04 Internet News
PWInsider is reporting that RAW Diva Search Contestant, Carmella DeCesare, has been arrested. As we previously reported (see above), Carmella was involved in an incident at a bar in Cleveland, Ohio. Charges have now been filed against Carmella, who is being accused of assaulting Kristin Hine. According to court documents that were released today, Hines is claiming she was kicked in the head, and has filed for a restraining order against DeCesare.

The charges did not warrant the police to go in pursuit of Carmella, but she would have been arrested if she had not chosen to turn herself in, which she did this evening. WUAB-TV in Cleveland showed footage of Carmella turning herself in to the police on misdemeanor charges. We will have more on the arrest of Carmella DeCesare as it comes to light. [ PWinsider.com ]

PW Insider is reporting that Carmella DeCesare turned herself in at Cleveland Police Headquarters tonight at around 7:45. She posted bond was released and has a court appearance scheduled for this morning. She's accused of kicking a girl in the head at a nightclub in Cleveland, which is a misdemeanor assault. (See Above.)

Her attorney, Pat D'Angelo, told WOIO-TV tonight, "If she wants me to represent her - she's gonna follow my advice, and my advice right now is for me to do the talking. That's what I'm getting paid for. She's innocent. We're gonna take this case before a judge and jury and prevail that way."

WOIO-TV reporter Sharon Reed said she spoke to DeCesare by phone tonight without her attorney and quoted DeCesare as saying of her accuser, "I don't know her. I don't know why she's doing this."

As for a possible motive, "No one is going to get between Jeff Garcia and I. We're solid. If it's him she wants, forget it. If it's money, forget it. If it's fame, good luck."

DeCesare made a personal appearance tonight after turning herself in. At a Quaker Steak and Lube in suburban Cleveland she told WOIO, on camera, "I'm not guilty and when I'm found not guilty I will be happy to answer any questions, and then everyone can hear the second side of the story."

WKYC-TV sent a reporter to her accuser's home, but no one answered the door at Kristen Hine's house. [ PWinsider.com ]

09/13/04 Monday Night Raw
Coach introduces us to the three Divas who are left. The Coach gives them congrats and so on. He says as they know, a boxing match has only two competitors. So we will see who was voted off last week and it is... Joy.

Seatlle Slugfest Rules: Two minutes of fighting until someone is knocked down or knocked out. After two minutes if nobody is knocked down the fans will decide who was the winner.

THE MUSIC OF VINCE MCMAHON HITS! Vinnie comes to the ring and says that next week he has a ground breaking announcement that will change the face of Raw forever. He has a message concerning Eric Bischoff, Raw, and all of us. But tonight he has an announcement concerning... well... Coach! He says that he got the rules of the Slugfest mixed up because they won't be kicking each other's asses, they will be kicking HIS ASS. Vince says the Coach has to stand still, hands behind his back and if he moves he is FIRED.

Christy is up first. The ref makes fun of coach and tells the ladies to hit him in the face and his over sized head. No hitting below the belt, unless it is totally necessary! Christy bops him in the face a few times and then socks him in the balls with these giant gloves. She jumps on his back and tosses him a beating there and then she finishes by biting his ASS.

Carmella is up and she totally unloads on the Coach. She knocks him down 3-5 times with wicked blows to the face. She even bitch slaps him across the face with the giant glove but the crowd boos the entire time. The ref asks the fans who won and they totally cheer Christy and totally boo Carmella. Christy wins! WebMaster's Note:  It's gonna be real interesting if the WWE tries to push Carmella on the fans.  I can't remember when I've heard so much booing.  Christy (our pick from the beginning) should be the winner if we can judge by the response during and after the slugfest.

Got to admit though, Carmella actually did the better job of beating Coach up.  Remember though, the girl does have more experience at things like this, including real life bar room brawls!!

The Diva Boxing was changed last night due to the Washington Department of Licensing. WWE did not have permission to run a boxing match last night, so they changed it to the Diva's beating on the Coach. [ PowerWrestling.com ]

Gail Kim - Who started off with a bang (one title first time in ring) but hasn't really captured the audience.
Jazz - Probably the strongest and meanest out of all the wrestler Diva's.
Lita - Out of action for a while due to being pregnant, but undoubtedly she will come back into the ring.
Molly - One of the best wrestlers ever, but the WWE has never been able to figure out how to market her to the public.
Nidia - Still has a lot to learn but seems to be able to finally hold her own in the ring.
Victoria - Coming along nicely, but still not really ready for the big time.
Trish - Who started off really shaky but eventually the caterpillar turned into a butterfly.  She's not only decent as a wrestler but a scrumptious peace of eye candy.
Stacy - Speaking of eye candy.  May not be able to wrestle well, but who really cares. She's got the best ring entrance in the business

Where are you gonna put somebody that is going to be strictly eye candy over here.  Whether it's Christy or Carmella, neither are ready for this bunch.  Christy might have a chance, she seems feisty enough, but Carmella??  Come on, she'll get a hang nail and cry!

SmackDown!
After 5 long weeks we still haven't developed any type of storyline or plot for these women.  On July 29, 2004 Theodore Long told the Diva's "none of you will be under utilized while I am the General Manager!" He was either high or didn't consult with the writers beforehand.

Dawn Marie and Torrie - Once upon a time if you remember, these two had one of the best feuds in the history of wrestling, but now we don't even get a glimpse of them. Torrie can definitely hold her own in the ring and who cares whether Dawn can,,. she wears great slutty clothes.
Jackie Gayda - Personally I think she has one of the best bodies ever in the business and she can at least hold her own in the ring if it came down to a match.
Shaniqua - Sent down to the minors because she supposedly had an attitude problem. Well dress a woman in black leather and give her a whip and I think you'll find she'll have some attitude.
Sable - Decided to leave and follow Brock while he chased his nightmare... oops dream of becoming an NFL player.
Stephanie - Always a great source of entertainment, who still legally has a chance to someday come back as the GM of SmackDown!, since she never said "I give" at the No Mercy PPV in October 2003 during the match against daddy Vince.

The WWE doesn't use the talent it has over here as it is.  Of course I realize that technically we're only talking about 3 women (Dawn, Torrie and Jackie) but we already have them doing nothing.  Should someone new get a contract for $250,000 to do the same thing??  As a stockholder in the WWE, I say NO!!

Viewed as one of the few moments in the diva search that fans considered memorable, the recent diva segment in which the four finalists cursed each other out is still a topic of discussion backstage, reports PWTorch.com's Newsletter.

The latest word is that Triple H, who is allegedly not a big fan of the competition, was one of the few backstage to not laugh the segment off. Conflicting backstage reports, likely depending on their opinion of HHH, cite a number of reasons for HHH's frustration. One theory is that HHH felt that raunchy segments do not keep the serious nature of wrestling, however, many backstage feel that HHH might have been looking out for himself and other RAW wrestlers with the comments, in that the edgy nature of the segment made most heels on RAW look "lame" in comparison.

Apparently, a source quotes HHH as saying, "So now it's okay to curse? In that case, I'm going to call Randy Orton a c---sucker on next week's show."

The Coach is in the ring and he says we are about to find the winner of the Diva Search contest. The two ladies come out and both look good as usual. The Coach teases a bit about the winner but he says BEFORE we get to that he has something to say. Coach says he did not feel good about last week and no matter who wins tonight the both of them have made a permanent enemy in the Coach. He tells Carmella that she can tell her Jeff Garcia boyfriend that too! Coach is finally going to get to it but as he goes to open the envelope Trish comes to the ring! She talks it up and says that this is it for the two. She says she just wanted to take a moment to tell them congrats! Trish makes fun of both of the women. Trish says with the money that Christy can buy herself some decaf and Carmella can buy herself a personality. Trish says next weekend she will throw the winner a party and they must attend! Trish leaves and the Coach is about to get to it.... THE WINNER OF THE DIVA SEARCH IS.......... CHRISTY!!!!!!

The crowd pops as Christy goes crazy! Coach interviews her and she says she feels great! She says it was all about energy and she does not need any decaf because it is all natural. Carmella gets next to Coach and she says she is disappointed but it was a great experience. Coach asks he what she thinks of the fans that boo her every week. Trish, Gail, and Molly come to the ring to give Christy Hemme her Diva Initiation Party. Christy makes her entrance and as Trish is talking to her Christy steals the mic from her hand. Christy tells the audience she has something to say and she goes on to thank the fans. Trish gets the mic back and tells Christy that she was not only picked by the fans but whoever she slept with to get to the finals. Trish tells Christy that there's someone else who wants to talk to her and say what she really wanted to last week. Carmella comes on the Titantron and calls her a bitch who cost her a quarter of a million dollars, and she's going to enjoy watching Christy get her ass kicked!

Trish then informs Christy that she will be initiated by having her first official match. But not just any match, it will be a handicapped bra and panties match! Trish gets a ref and and starts the match with Gail and Molly holding Christy. Christy manages to slap Trish in the face which infuriates the blond Diva who grabs her and rips off all of her clothes. After the trio celebrate their stunning victory and leave the ring, Christy gets up from the mat while trying to cover herself as the fans begin cheering. The more they cheer the more she exposes. She eventually picks up the mic and says those girls thought they could take her pride when they ripped her clothes off. Christy tells the fans she just found out though that she is actually very comfortable in just her bra and panties. While they didn’t appear to like each other very much on camera, the word is that both Carmella and Christy were good friends behind the scenes for the Raw Diva Search. This leads people to believe that the Diva’s were just faking tension between them and leading some to believe that the entire Diva search was scripted to a certain extent.

The following is posted on the Raw Diva Search webpage as a loophole of sorts that would release the WWE of any charges of fraud against them:

“WWE, IN ITS SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE DISCRETION, RESERVES THE RIGHT TO CHANGE THE RULES, METHOD AND MANNER OF FAN VOTING AND WINNER SELECTION AT ANY TIME, FOR ANY REASON WHATSOEVER, OR FOR NO REASON AT ALL.”

While this is customary for most reality shows, because it relieves the WWE of any lawsuits that contestants may bring saying they were taken off the show for other reasons than the fan’s voting. It had been known internally by some that Christy was favored to win because of the previous weeks voting and many times the girls went out there prepared to be voted out because of this knowledge. Other fans accused the WWE of fraud because it seemed as though the voting was setup to favor Carmella because it seemed as though phone lines allowed for multiple votes for her, but only single votes for the other Divas.

The WWE claims however that it was the heel fan vote that keep Carmella around so long and that the other Divas (outside of Christy) were so indistinguishable from one another that they split the votes up among themselves. [ J. Bratcher, Rajah.com, PWtorch.com ]

We are in the back with Eric Bischoff. He is speaking to a woman telling her that they have a deal. She shakes his hand but we never see her. Coach comes in and asks what "she" is doing here. Eric tells him that he has a big announcement tonight regarding his match with Eugene. Bischoff tells him to buzz off so he can finish business. We never see this woman…who is she?

A while later Eric Bischoff comes to the ring and he talks about the upcoming Taboo Tuesday. Eugene then comes to the ring as Eric Bischoff talks about the fans stipulation at Taboo Tuesday since he does not know what it is going to be just yet, but he has a surprise for him tonight. Carmella comes to the ring and she starts hitting on Eugene telling him that she likes him. She thinks he's all hot, but she likes bald men so she tries to get Eugene to shave his head so Bischoff's match at Taboo Tuesday cannot be a loser shaves their head match. Bischoff also says that Carmella has a match against Christy that night as well. He asks Eugene if he likes Carmella and he says he does. Eric asks if he has ever seen playboy and Eugene covers his eyes and gets all excited. He asks Eugene if he likes Carmella and he says he does. He says he will shave his head under one condition. He wants a kiss! Eugene puckers up licking his tongue and Carmella goes to kiss him but says she can't do it. She says she is too good for this, too good for all these people! That creates boos. Eugene says he wants to see her boobies, big pop. Eric tells Eugene that Carmella does not like him, in fact, nobody likes him! Christy then comes to the ring and knocks over Carmella. Carmella, as it was mentioned on RAW, was a former Playmate of the year. Just recently an all new Playboy Video of her "stripping" for a shoot was released by Playboy. According to the 10.4.04 Wrestling Observer Newsletter: "As things stand right now, DeCesare is supposed to be used until 10/19, but she has not been offered anything past that point." So it looks like Carmella is being paid per appearance, which means that she's likely not signed, at least not yet. What a waste of money that would be!

Both women get a chance to try and convince the audience what event they should choose, a  Aerobics Challenge, a Evening Gown Match or a Lingerie Pillow Fight at the Taboo Tuesday PPV tomorrow night. Carmella says she wants to do an Aerobics match. Christy says she wants what the people want and she will beat Carmella! She says she will do anything for the guys. Then she says that the last time she was in the ring she kissed Eugene, but tonight she is going to kiss.... She drops the mic and looks around and then seductively walks over towards Lilian who looks a little worried. Coach was shown in his dress as he introduced Carmella and Christy out to the stage. Coach said they are not dressed properly for whatever match it will be, and he has supplied some see through cubicles for them to change in, on the stage. He asked the crowd what they wanted, and they popped for Lingerie Pillow Fight. The result of the internet vote is the pillow fight, and it is time for them to change their clothes!

The ladies took off their robes and got face to face. Christy then pulled a booby enhancement from Carmella’s top and threw it to the crowd. Carmella shoved Christy down and then two went at it with pillows and feathers flying everywhere. WWE has updated a statement released Wednesday; they have released an additional 3 superstars. The following was issued today via WWE.com:

The WWE released Johnny Stamboli, Rodney Mack, Jazz, Gail Kim, Chuck Palumbo and Nidia from their contracts today. We wish them the best in their future endeavors.

As we reported earlier, the WWE locker room is on edge right now. The only explanation given thus far is that all of the firings were financially related.

The WWE fires proven talent (and two good wrestler's - Gail Kim & Jazz) because of money problems, but they supposedly paid $250,000 to Christy?!?!  Don't get me wrong I think Christy is a doll, but a wrestler she is not. If I was any of these three ladies I would be EXTREMELY pissed off that I had been laid off/fired but the company could see fit to pay an enormous amount of money to an unknown and unproven woman. This is four women released recently, three of which have years of ring savvy. How can you get rid of Jazz, Gail Kim & Jacqueline and keep a damn non-wrestler? The WWE already had enough Diva's that weren't considered competitor's (Dawn, Torrie, Stacy), and recently had two women that were debatable (Sable,Nidia).

I'm not sure what the WWE is thinking but this is one of the stupidest things they've done in quite awhile!

11/15/04 Monday Night Raw
Christy and Stacy quickly disrobe for their Lingerie Pillow Fight Match, and begin and tossing pillows at each other. Both women went over to their corners and picked specially selected pillows (they were in red pillow cases compared to the others) and it's quickly apparent that we're not going to have a lot of feathers flying, since the pillows are not splitting open like they should. Stacy decides to remove her high heels and seems to gain the upper hand as she knocks Christy onto the bed and spanks her. Christy strikes back by throwing Stacy backwards off the bed and is able to get the pinfall.

Randy Orton is in the middle of the ring with three new chicks. Melina, Maria, and Candice. Orton says they are all drop dead gorgeous but there is something missing here. More hot women! He says he asked for two more Divas to come to the ring! He introduces Christy Hemme and then says they have Baltimore's own hometown sweetheart, Stacy Keibler!!!

Stacy gets a huge ovation as she is the hottest one to come to the ring. Orton tells the girls that they have no idea why they are out here. Orton says it's the Holiday Season and that it is a time for giving. He says he is going to give the fans a RAW Lingerie fashion show. He says that since they are not prepared, he has asked Spike TV for a few minutes extra but they declined. So he has to do it with what they've got right now! He asks the ladies if they will do it and they all say yes. Melina goes first and she looks a little hesitant standing in the middle of the ring. Orton cuts the music and says Melina is a little nervous. Orton asks the crowd for a little help and they cheer her on! She takes off her dress and she has nice blue lingerie on. She dances up on Randy and then walks around the ring a bit for fun. Candice is up next and she flaunts her stuff. Maria is up next and she lifts up her skirt revealing purple panties. She teases a bit and then takes off her entire dress! Christy goes next and she lets Orton take off her whole dress! Stacy is up last and she lets Randy unbutton her skirt and then she unbuttons her shirt. All the women look hot. Orton says this was the best fashion show he has ever seen and calls for a group hug! Chris Jericho is going to have his first ever Rock and Roll Limbo. He brings out the Raw Divas! It's all new chicks and then Stacy. Jericho says that last lading standing, or I mean bending, will win. Fozzy jams out as they keep the bar pretty low. They lower it really low and Christy and Maria make it. Melina is out, Lana is out, and someone else is out too. Stacy is too tall for the bar. They lower it a ton and Christy makes it but Maria does not!

It should be quite clear that WWE is, as initially reported by Rajah.com, focusing on hiring attractive models who do not have extensive wrestling ability. Vince McMahon is responsible for this new focus with the WWE Divas, as he feels featuring attractive women in “T&A” segments can help draw back the young male viewers, who watched in masses during the “boom” period.

WWE has indicated its desire to hire women based solely on looks with its offering of TV deals to various Diva Search contestants and models, some of whom appeared in Playboy. [ Rajah.com ]

01/06/05 Thursday SmackDown!
Amy Weber attempted to talk to Kurt Angle in private, and Angle dismissed his crew. Amy said that as an image consultant, she wanted to talk about business with Angle. Kurt said that he realized Amy was keeping her options open in case JBL lost the title at the Rumble. Kurt said if there were going to have a business relationship, that they needed to get better acquainted. Amy invited Kurt to her personal locker room to talk business after his match later in the show.

Towards the end of the show Kurt Angle made his way to Amy Weber's dressing room, dressed in a suit. He knocked on her door and entered when no one answered as the show went to a commercial break.

Kurt made himself comfortable on Amy's couch and realized that someone was in the shower. He went to see who was in the shower, and opened the door to the bathroom. As he looked at the shower curtain, he removed his jacket with a smirk on his face. Kurt then removed his shirt with a cocky smirk on his face as the woman continued to shower. Kurt rubbed his nipples and turned himself on before finally removing his pants. As Kurt stood in the middle of the shower room, half naked, Joy Giovanni emerged from the shower screaming in terror! Kurt tried to apologize, dragging his pants around his ankles. As she tried to escape, Kurt made a grab for her and removed her towel.

Joy went screaming out into the backstage area only to run into the protective arms of the Big Show. Angle tried to tell Big Show that Amy invited him into her locker room, only to find Joy in what was supposed to be Amy's room. Big Show chased Kurt out to the ring, and hit Angle with a massive chop to the chest.

Reigns and Jindrak attempted to assist Angle, only to face Big Show's wrath. Kurt slipped behind Big Show with a steel chair and nailed him across the back. It didn't seem to faze the giant as he turned around to face Angle. Angle then attempted to hit Show again, but Big Show punched the chair back in Kurt's face. Kurt then scrambled out of the ring and made his way to the back as an angry Big Show stared in his direction as the show went to a break. [ PowerWrestling.com ]

01/13/05 Thursday SmackDown!
Highlights are shown of last week's incident between Kurt Angle and the Big Show as Angle was founded in Amy's locker room. All set up by JBL. From here we get a shot of Kurt Angle coming into the arena. Angle runs into Joy and the Big Show and he says he wants to apologize. Angle says he is truly sorry for being humiliated by JBL for the both of them. The Big Show then says he does not like Kurt Angle, but he has the guts to come over and apologize and that shows he has guts. He says that someone else has to apologize tonight though and that person is none other than JBL.

Later the Big Show appears backstage to confront JBL! He says JBL must think it is pretty funny what happened between him and Angle last week, but he does not care about that because someone he cares about got hurt last week and she deserves an apology. JBL starts to apologize but he is stuttering the entire time. Big Show gets serious and he forces him to make a better apology. JBL does so. Big Show then says that someone else has to apologize as well and that is Amy. Amy says maybe things got out of hand, but Joy liked it. She says that Joy enjoyed being the center of attention running around naked, she even screamed so more people would pay attention to her. This causes Joy to tackle her! JBL and Big Show separate them and then Teddy Long comes around and makes a match for tonight between the two women. Teddy Long then says that all parties will be barred from ringside as well!

After several matches we see Amy in the back, telling JBL that she is scared to wrestle Joy. She says she is an image consultant, not a wrestler! What if she gets a black eye before JBL's Man of the Year party? She starts to cry and JBL comforts here. We then go over to Joy who is rubbing up in another part of the backstage area and Big Show asks if she is ready. She says she has been waiting a long time for this. He tells her to go get er'! She kisses the Show and heads out for her match.

Amy Weber came out in matching blue short shorts and sports bra, looking freaking hot. Joy Giovanni's music hit twice, but she never came out. Amy looked perplexed as she was awarded the match by forfeit.

A few minutes later Teddy Long is in the back with Charles Robinson telling him they need to round up all referees and find Joy. The Big Show shows up and asks where the hell Joy is. Long says he is on top of it right now. A few guys come in and he tells them all to go find Joy, they leave. JBL comes in and says "Holla Holla" and calls Teddy a Looney Toon. Teddy says that he must know where Joy is. JBL asks why he would know. Teddy says that he needs all the information JBL can give and he better start telling now because all they've got is time!

Back from the commercial, JBL was talking to Long and he said he had a ceremony tonight. He said he knows nothing about nothing, and tonight is huge for him, because he is accepting a huge award. Long said his alibi better check out, and if it doesn't he will have a ceremony of his own and it will be him stripping JBL of the WWE Title. A little later Torrie and Jackie came in and said they had information and Torrie said she saw someone following Joy when she was going to the ring, and Teddy asked who. Torrie said it was Orlando Jordan, and Long told security to get Jordan in his office right now.

When we come back, Orlando Jordan is being questioned by Teddy Long. Orlando admits that he did see her in the tunnel, but all he did was tell her that Amy was going to kick her ass! Show comes in and chokes Orlando on the coach. Orlando screams his excuses but Show demands answers. Finally Show lets go believing Jordan but telling him that if he had anything to do with it, he will break every single bone in Orlando's body!

During the award presentation to JBL for Man of the Year from The Florida (yes that's righ - FAG) Agricultural Group the music of Kurt Angle hits and he tells JBL to shut up! JBL says he is getting an award but Angle says he doesn't know how much JBL paid these guys, but this is totally bogus. Angle says that JBL does not want a part of the Big Show because he knows he can beat him. He says he went after the woman that the Big Show cared about, and now he wants him to be totally out of the match so he kidnapped her! JBL says that is a felony and he did NOT do it! Angle says what he did to a defenseless woman is just plain wrong. There is something moving in the trunk of JBL's limo! Angle asks what the hell is it and he goes crazy looking for the keys. He finds the keys, opens the trunk, and there is Joy! Angle calls for the medics as JBL is screaming that he has nothing to do with this at all! The medics come and help a screaming Joy by giving her an oxygen mask. Big Show comes and comforts her and boy does he look pissed. He heads to the ring right to JBL and takes down all the surrounding cronies as JBL pleads that he had nothing to do with this. Big Show takes The Basham's down with headbutts and JBL attacks from behind. Big Show works over JBL and forces him out of the ring! Big Show then choke slams both Basham brothers before getting a low blow from Orlando Jordan, who grabs a chair. Jordan slams him with a chair but Big Show gets even more mad! He chokeslams Jordan and slams him with the chair a million times in the back as JBL and Amy look on saying they did not do it!

Carmella DeCesare was found not guilty of aggravated assault charges on Wednesday. However, she was convicted of violating a protection order cited by Kristen Hine. For those charges she was placed on one year’s probation, ordered to pay $150 fine and serve 24 hours of community service.

Reportedly, Amy Weber has given notice to WWE head of talent relations John Laurinaitis. She chose to do so due to locker room antics and the usual "boys will be boys" kind of stuff that often happens in the WWE locker room and can rub some women the wrong way. Weber's bio is still up on WWE.com but she did not appear on the weekend house shows. [ PowerWrestling.com, PWinsider.com ]

----- News had broken that WWE Diva Amy Weber has possibly given her notice to WWE during the recent overseas tour of Japan.

PWTorch.com is further reporting that while WWE was in Japan, a group of wrestlers were passing an adult nightclub and saw an advertisment flyer that had Amy's picture on it. Curiosity got the better of the group of unknown WWE Superstars and they went to the club featured on the advertisment and inquired about the girl on the ad.

According to what has been reported by the Torch, the owner of the club stated that the girl indeed worked in the club, and was available if they had the right amount of money.

After realizing that the flyer had been discovered, sources say Amy claimed that the club "stole" her photo and used it. Despite the denial, she was still ridiculed by many backstage and gave notice by the time WWE made its way to Alaska. [ PowerWrestling.com, PWtorch.com ]

Amy Weber is still listed on the Smackdown superstars page though that doesn't mean she will be back on Smackdown any time soon, if at all. The last I heard, she doesn't want to go back but WWE is trying to get her to reconsider. In addition to having a magazine layout with her featured that is scheduled to come out before WrestleMania where she represents Smackdown with Torrie Wilson, there is a serious fear internally that she may seek legal remedy for the "boys will be boys" harassment that she received on the flight back from Japan earlier this month. ----- As it stands, Amy Webber will not be returning to WWE at this point. We’ve heavily reported the facts to her situation with WWE regarding the strip club flyer, the ribbing, as well as the plan journey between Japan and Alaska. Apparently Webber injured her tailbone while practicing for a match that was scheduled for No Way Out. According to sources, the landed awkwardly when she was thrown out of the ring, and suffered a painful injury.

During the plan journey, she confronted a trainer asking how to treat the injury, as it was causing her distress. Another person asked about it and she explained. That got turned into accusations that she was complaining about the injury, which two Raw wrestlers felt was lame given all that they’ve been through to get where they are. She stretched out on several seats to sleep, which shouldn’t have been a big deal since one WWE source there were a number of rows of open seats on the charter.

Whilst she was sleeping, two wrestlers poured a liquid on her to wake her up. It was the physical abuse that she says happened to her on the flight that caused her to quit and fly home on her own, not wanting to endure spending any more time with the wrestlers on the flight back from Alaska. “They are a bunch of assholes basically who think that they can get away with anything,” says a source close to Weber, who adds that at first Weber’s feelings were hurt from the teasing about the stripper flyer, but Bruce Prichard explained to her that the teasing wasn’t meant to be taken seriously, but was more just a test to see if she had a sense of humor about herself.

One of the wrestlers who were guilty of teasing Webber about the Flyer was JBL, however he later apologized to her because he didn’t mean to hurt her feelings since the wrestlers didn’t actually take the flyer seriously. Says one wrestler: “Amy is one of the smarter divas. JBL was just having fun the way he has fun. It was what it was and she took it too seriously at first because she was trying so hard to fit in. The girls just don’t understand the mentality because they got thrown into this. Wrestlers should be more mature, but this type of stuff is how we stay sane on road trips.”

As reported previously, there is some heat on John Laurenaitis because Prichard ended up having to deal with the situation, whereas it should have fallen under Laurenaitis’s job description. ----- Amy Weber is not going to return to Raw at this point. She recently quit WWE for what was thought of just to be some ribbing of her about a strip club flyer that she had appeared on. It turns out, there was more to the story, as Weber suffered an injury earlier in the week while practicing for a match. She was in much pain on the way home, so she asked for a trainer to assist her. Two wrestlers approached her and made fun of her for needing assistance, after all they have to go through to get to where they were. Then she decided to spread out and lay down over an entire row of seats which was no big deal because there was plenty of room on the plane, but when she did, two wrestlers poured a liquid substance on her. This physical abuse apparently is what really upset Weber. As reported earlier, JBL, was one of the wrestler’s who was ribbing Weber about the stripclub flyer, but has since apoligized to her about the incident. After reaching Alaska, Weber bought her own ticket for the rest of the way home, because she was so upset about the flight from Japan.
