WWE Raw Diva Search Action 2005 04/11/05 Monday Night Raw
It was announced on Raw that the WWE would be running a new DIVA SEARCH for 2005. For those of you women interested in the competition for 2005 you can go over to the WWE.com site and get all the information you need to sign up. Deadline Date To Submit Application:

The new dates for the Los Angeles casting calls are Thursday, June 9 and Friday, June 10. Jeez, the Terms & Conditions Form is 11 pages long and the Statement of Eligibility and Consent is 10 pages. In a bit of a strange news note, WWE have released their eligibility requirements for the second Diva Search, and below is one of them: A. Applicants must have been born female and must be legal residents of the 48 contiguous United States (excludes Alaska and Hawaii) or the District of Columbia. Now, what the company has against Alaskan and Hawaiian transsexuals I can’t even begin to guess. Many workers within WWE are unhappy that another $250,000 Diva Search is being done. Christy Hemme, the winner of the latest competition, is well-liked backstage, however, many feel she hasn’t earn her high pay packet. 06/27/05 Monday Night Raw
The Coach is in the ring and he says it is time to meet the Diva search ladies of 2005. He says it would not be a Diva Search without last year's winner, so Christy Hemme comes to the ring. The Coach then says then to bring them on. Ashley, Leyla, Summer, Kristal, Elisabeth, Simona, Cameron, and Alexis. The crowd is pretty dead as the ladies dance in the ring and Audioslave plays. Christy says congrats to the ladies and says being a diva is the best job in the entire world. Coach then says something about Christy losing last night at Vengeance and she says Vince McMahon could come out here and have them all punch him in the testicles. The Coach says they have 30 seconds to showcase their stuff, but Big Viscera's music hits and he comes to the ring! If it's a female, he gosta have it! Coach yells for the music to be cut and tells Viscera it's not his time. Viscera says the people are sick of him running his mouth and what he and all the people want to see is some hot sexy action! He says they need to get seeeeeeexy, Christy suggests the ladies get down to their bra and panties. Coach gets excited and says they can show the world. Ashley steps up first and calls the rest of the girls prissy chicks and takes off her top and bottom, she looks hot, but runs out of time. Leyla is up next and says she is not wearing anything under her clothes, but as the next diva, she will work hard. The fans boo. Her time gets cut! Summer steps up and has no mic skills what so ever. She takes off her top though and continues to have no mic skills. Then she takes her skirt off, that gets a small pop. Kristal is up next. She is alright. Elisabeth is next. She gets booed pretty bad. Simona says she is a hot blooded Italian American, she has a thong, it gets a small pop from the crowd. Cameron is from Florida, she is boring. Nice butt though! Alexis is our final contestant, she cuts some kind of promo. She drinks a beer and stuff, and then says as Ric Flair would say, to be the woman, you gotta beat the women. Viscera then talks and asks the crowd if he wants to see the ladies dance with Big Vis. Nobody cares. They dance. Out of nowhere, Sergeant Slaughter comes out and says next week the contest officially begin and they will report for duty next week! He says chin up, and those chests out! He says next week, on the fourth of July, they will compete in an obstacle course. Next week will be the first ever Sergeant Slaughter Bikini Boot Camp! OWOW's opinions so far: Ashley: A little too Tomboy for us. Nice tight little body though. May have potential.
Leyla: Well, she didn't wear underwear, so she couldn't strip. Classic good looks, and from what we could tell, nice body. Good personality.
Summer: Nice looking blond, with killer legs (ala Stacy Keibler) with more in the chest department. Possible contender.
Krystal: A little too small in stature for our tastes, but great little body. Might have some personality.
Elisabeth: Sports bra didn't work for us, but to each their own.
Simona: Hot body, cute face and may have some personality.
Cameron: Tall, cool drink of water, but came off a little ditzy and clumsy.
Alexis: I already hate this woman. I think she's watched a little too much wrestling for her own good. Ripping off the Austin "trademark" (guzzling a beer, which she mostly poured on herself) and quoting Ric Flair ("To be the woman you have to beat the woman") just DID NOT work!

At least one WWE Diva Search contestant was upset with management due to not being informed that they would have to strip in the ring during the segment. She did not have a problem with the idea of stripping, but would’ve worn a different outfit to the ring if she were informed. Several other contestants shared the same feelings towards the situation. However, there were others who felt differently about it and took an attitude of “Have you ever watched Raw?” and that WWE Diva’s should always be prepared to get undressed. Rajah.com PWinsider.com
07/04/05 Monday Night Raw - Sacramento, CA
Christy and the Coach made their way out to the stage, and Christy said it was time for the 2005 RAW Diva Search contest, and Sgt. Slaughter’s Bikini Bootcamp. Christy then introduced Slaughter to the stage, followed by the Diva Search contestants. Summer fell on her ass. Slaughter asked if they are ready for the obstacle course? He said he has a question, would any of them like to blow on the Sarge’s whistle? Coach took the mic and said the one with the fastest time with be given immunity. They will go up to the yellow line, do 10 jumping jacks, go over the wall, get into the ring, crawled through the netting, get in the potato sack and then do 10 rope jumps before going back over the wall and over the yellow line. Christy asked Coach to demonstrate, and said that she bet’s he can’t do it. Coach then went ahead and fell over a bunch of times but got 48 seconds. Here are the girls times: Ashley: 48 seconds.

Kristal: 36 seconds.

Alexis: 54 seconds. After the break, Christy and Coach congratulated Elisabeth and said she has won immunity, and told everyone to go to WWE.com and vote for your favorite Diva.  07/11/05 Monday Night Raw - East Rutherford, New Jersey - Alexis Cut
The Diva Search girls are getting in the ring, and Coach said we are having a talent contest here tonight. Christy then introduced us to the girls, and Coach said before we get to the competition, somebody has to go home, except for Elisabeth who has immunity. Coach said Alexis has been cut, and she made her way to the back. Christy said each girl will have 60 seconds to show their talent. Ashley was first, and said rather than coming up here and dancing, she has been learning some wrestling. She went over to Coach and he wanted off, and then got Christy in the corner and gave her a monkey flip. They then hugged, and Christy said wow, that was good. Leyla was next, and said her talent requires the referee who threw the towel on her last week. Earl Hebner made his way down and she danced around him, and then gave him a low blow. She said that’s for disqualifying her last week. Summer was next, and she said it is Summer time, and she’s going to show some athletic ability. She then did some back flips and the splits and stuff. Kristal is next, and she is wearing a fake moustache, and she spoke in a French accent. She said she’s going to do a self portrait. She ripped off her coat and moustache, and then poured blue and yellow paint over herself and rolled around on some paper. Elisabeth is next, and she is going to do a dance. She has a police hat on, and then took off her robe and danced about. She handcuffed Christy to the ropes and then slapped her ass. Simona is next, and said she is going to do her fantasy. She has a sword and danced around with the sword looking at Coach. Lawler - "Coach, you better pull out your sword, I heard it was a little short". She kissed the Coach and the crowd booed her for that one. Cameron is last up, and they got some chairs in the ring and Christy sat down and Cameron danced around the chair and stuff and gave Christy a kiss.  07/18/05 Monday Night Raw - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania - Simona Cut
Coach is in the ring with Christy Hemme, and they introduce the Diva Search Contestants. Coach lined them up and said ultimately it’s the fans who vote who stays and who goes. Coach said earlier today, each of them had thirty seconds to say who they would eliminate and why. Ashley was first, and said she would vote off Cameron because she doesn’t have what it takes to be a Diva. Leyla was next, and she picked Simona because she doesn’t think she has what it takes to be a Diva, and doesn’t have the personality to go with the look. Summer was next, and she picked Simona because she sees her more as a cover girl. Kristal was next, and she picked Elisabeth because she is a talented actress and dancer, and would be better suited elsewhere. Large boring chant has started by this point. Elisabeth picked Kristal to go because seeing her talent last week, she is a great painter and she should create more masterpieces like that. Simona picked Summer because she thinks she would make a great lingerie model instead. Cameron picked Ashley because she is tough and hardcore, and wonders if the WWE could handle her.  07/25/05 Monday Night Raw - Cleveland, Ohio - Cameron Cut
The Diva Search Contestants were shown making their way through the back towards the arena, and they will be taking part in a Hot Dog Eating Contest next!
The Diva Search girls are in the ring with Coach and and it's time to find out who is eliminated this week, and it's Cameron. There is a table set up in the ring, and Coach said tonight is a Hot Dog eating contest, and each of them will have one minute to eat as many hot dogs as they can. He said that the winner will get immunity next week. They all started to shovel down hot dogs, they seem to be able to handle weiners pretty well. We have a tie and Coach gave each of them a hot dog and it's a 30 second eat off between Leyla and Summer. Leyla gets the win. Hurrah. PowerWrestling.com
 08/01/05 Monday Night Raw - Mohegan Sun, Connecticut
The Diva Search Girls are out on the stage with Coach, and someone has to go home right now, and it's Summer. The girls then made their way to the ring for the Queen of the Mountain contest. There is loads of padding in the ring, with pedestals and sticks with foam on the end. Coach then introduced the special referee, from Saturday Night Live and tons of funny movies, and the star of Duece Bigalow: European Giggolo; Rob Schneider. We then go to a clip from the movie and then he is introduced to the ring. Schneider said his advice is not to be distracted by his boner. Leyla and Ashley are first up, and both fell off. They get back up and it's another tie when they both fell off, but eventually Ashley wins. Kristal and Elisabeth are up next with Elisabeth getting the win. Rob goofed around with the Diva's and Ashley now meets Elisabeth in the finals with Elisabeth getting the win. Coach told us all to go vote. Whatever. Coach tried to get with Elisabeth but she went with Schneider. PowerWrestling.com

 08/08/05 Monday Night Raw - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
The Coach is in the ring and he brings out the final four Diva Search ladies. Coach says this week is their last week to impress because next week they will crown a winner. He says one of them must go home and he paces around stopping at Kristal who is cut! She leaves the ring and Coach says they gave them 60 seconds to talk to the fans but also how they deal with things when they go out of hand. Ashley goes first. She actually holds a cue card with her PHONE number on it! She then keeps talking but she gets a pie slammed in her face! She flips out and screams then puts some on the Coach. Leyla has a sign with her name on it and says she thinks she knows what the people want, and she gets slammed with the pie. She looks hot in her top and she carries on with the promo before giving Coach a small cute slap. Elizabeth talks and says people are talking about her but she is the girl here who has walked the walk. She talks to the fans, gets slammed with the pie, then says how she won the competitions and then she runs out of time. Next week is the last week, so get voting at WWE.com! PowerWrestling.com

First her top falls off on national TV, now this. WWE Diva Search finalist LEYLA is the star of a phone sex hotline TV commercial currently running. The best part? It's been airing during WWE programming - gotta love that. SEScoops reader Louis Martinez sent in the following news: My Media Center recorded WWE Bottom Line over the weekend, and during one of the commercial breaks, there was a commercial for one of those 18 and older hotlines, 1-800-YES-GIRL. Well, who is prominently featured in said commercial but WWE Diva Wannabe, Leyla! You know... Leyla. The one with the... well, here are a few screen grabs I took of the commercial.  08/15/05 Monday Night Raw - Montreal, Quebec, Canada
The girls get on the ramp and Coach says he has to cut one of the ladies before we can crown a champion tonight. Elizabeth is eliminated! Leyla  and Ashley are still left and voting is still going on.
After another match, the Coach is in the ring and he introduces the ladies who make their way to the ring. Both are looking stunning as they climb through the ropes. Coach gives them congrats and everything and then they run down through the whole Diva competition. After all is said and done The Coach gives us some drama before announcing the 2005 Raw Diva Search Champion... we head to the TitanTron and we see....... nothing for a few seconds until we see a picture of... ASHLEY! Ashley is the new WWE Diva! Ashley is handed her large check by the Coach as she cries a little bit. Coach asks what she thinks and she thanks all of the fans and says they rule.
