Who’s SmackDown!’s hottest new Diva?

CLEVELAND, OH – At No Way Out, Rochelle Loewen, Michelle McCool, Joy Giovanni and Lauren Jones will strut their stuff in a three-part competition to help fans determine which newcomer is SmackDown!’s Rookie Diva 2005. Throughout the live pay-per-view broadcast, fans will be able to log onto WWE.com and vote for the Diva they think is the total package.

Thursday night, WWE.com has gathered some of the ladies’ statistics, as well as comments from each, explaining why they should be chosen. Here’s what they had to say…

Joy Giovanni
Vitals - Height: 5’4”     Measurements: 34 25 34     From: Boston, Massachusetts

Credentials: Licensed Massage Therapist, Actress (CSI, Monk), Model, Kick Boxer, Golfer, Raw Diva Search Finalist (3rd place), Special Friend of Big Shows.

In Her Own Words: This Sunday at No Way Out, the fans have a difficult decision to make. There are three other lovely girls competing to be SmackDown! fans’ favorite new Diva, but I have faith that just like Big Show is going to defeat JBL for the WWE Championship inside of the Barbed Wire Steel Cage Match, I’ll defeat these other three girls and be names SmackDown!’s hottest new Diva, because I know I can bring the most Joy in the long run.

Michelle McCool
Vitals - Height: 5’10”     Measurements: 34 24 36     From: Palatka, Florida

Credentials: Seventh Grade School Teacher, Personal Trainer, Model, College Softball Player, Kick Boxer, Volleyball Player, Basketball Player, Gymnast, Raw Diva Search Finalist (7th place).

In Her Own Words: I’m a Small Town Girl from Palatka, Florida who loves a good competition. All the other girls are really beautiful, and Joy already has a lot of fans out there, so this one’s gonna be tough. But I don’t like to lose, and I really think I’m the total package. It’s easy to go and parade around the ring in skimpy clothes, but it’s a different thing to go out there show some athletic skills inside the ring, like I plan on doing here shortly. There’s nothing better than displaying beauty and athleticism in front of 15,000 screaming, loyal WWE fans. This week, I hope I get your vote, so you can help me win this contest and become SmackDown!’s hottest new Diva.

Lauren Jones

Rochelle Loewen

02/20/05 - No Way Out PPV

Rookie Diva Contest - Rochelle Loewen vs. Joy Giovanni vs. Michelle McCool vs. Lauren Jones

The music of Torrie Wilson hit in the arena as she and Dawn Marie made their way to the announce table and they are the hosts of this competition. The contestants then made their way down. Tony Chimel said voting is now open on WWE.com as the Diva’s paraded in their Evening Gowns and Round Two is coming up! Nice waste of five minutes.

Second round time, as Tony Chimel introduced the Diva’s again. Torrie got on the mic and welcomed us to round two. She said each Diva is going to show us their very special talents. Joy said her talent was massage, and she would like to massage Torrie. Joy started to massage Torrie and Dawn looked on in disgust. Torrie thanked Joy, and then Dawn got on the mic and said that she can give a better rub than that. Rochelle was next and told a couple of jokes, and she was horrid. Dawn stole the mic off her and told her she stunk. Lauren was next and did a dance. Dawn said Lauren shouldn’t quit her day job. Michelle was next and said her talent is a bit more physical. She said that she is tired of Dawn running her mouth, and then gave her a bodyslam! Torrie laughed and Chimel told us to go vote.

Later in the show Torrie made her way down, and Dawn Marie has refused to take part after being slammed by Michelle earlier on. Torrie said they each have 15 seconds to show their swimsuits. Joy was first, followed by Rochelle, then Lauren and finally Michelle. The crowd is pretty dead through all of this by the way. Michelle did a back flip and stuff. Torrie said while the votes are tallied on WWE.com, she is going to poll the audience. Michelle got the biggest pop from the crowd. The WWE.com votes show Joy as the winner.
