06/30/00 Internet Rumors
Lots of reports on the Internet are saying that Rena Mero will be returning to the WWF. Marc Mero stated that he and Rena just returned from his hometown of Syracuse and are planning on going for a couple of days with the family for some summer fun in the sun. He also said, Rena was recently on a Radio show where they asked her if she would ever consider going back to the WWF. She replied, if it were the right circumstances, she would consider returning. Marc also told me he heard that they both signed with WCW. The Mero's at this time, will keep us guessing.  For all Rena's European fans she has a great photo lay out in British GQ which comes out on August 6th. [Ryan Sanders]

In Rockford, Illinois there a wrestling radio program called Piledriver, Sunday night there was an interview with Rena Mero (formerly Sable) and there have been many rumors about her possible return to the WWF. Rena seemed to change her attitude since she left an filed her lawsuit. She said she would like to thank Vince McMahon for giving her the chance to get exposure, and she said she loves the wrestling business and does not want to hold any grudges. This is a complete about face from when she left the WWF and sued them for $20 million dollars. Will we see Sable's return in the WWF? It's unlikely but Rena Mero seems to be warming up back to the wrestling business. [Matt Suker]

Rumors are abound throughout the Internet that Sable is exploring the possibility of reconciling her differences with the WWF and possibly returning in the future. This appears unlikely as a result of her turbulent past. If you recall, Sable tried to sue Vince McMahon and that several of the current women of the WWF, including Debra, Terri, and Chyna, do not look upon her favorably. Though nothing can be ruled out, it is almost certain that the WWF would pass should the opportunity to bring her back even arise. [Fred Cook]

"If I was ever asked to return to the WWF I would definitely consider it," Mero said. During the interview, she never said anything against the WWF, and said that there are no hard feelings with anyone, including Vince McMahon. Rena said that wrestling in the WWF opened up tons of other opportunities for her and although now she's more concentrated on her acting career, a WWF return - if asked - would be greatly considered.
