Lash fell to the mat and The Artist was able to use his Paisley Park finisher to become the Cruiserweight Title Champion. [wcw.com]

On the outside, Paisley attacked Juvi after he attempted to stop her interference in the bout. Guerrero went after the newcomer, sending him over the top rope to the outside. He dove from the top onto Hard Knox, as the fans roared their approval. Once inside, Candido took control, banging Chavo around the squared circle. As Chavo hit a spinning DDT, Paisley distracted him, which allowed Candido to get a quick two-count on his opponent. The referee tried to get Paisley off the apron, giving The Artist the perfect chance to drop a flying DDT on Hard Knox. Guerrero quickly covered the newcomer and scored the pin. Chavo didn't celebrate for long, as Candido leveled him with a flying headbutt after the match. [wcw.com]

04/16/00 Spring Stampede PPV - Suicide Six-Man Cruiserweight Title Match Chris Candido d. The Artist with Paisley, Lash LeRoux, Juventud Guerrera, Shannon Moore and Crowbar with David Flair and Daffney.

Shannon Moore and Shane Helms performed their hit song, "Can't Get You Out Of My Heart." As they sang on, the other participants hit the ring, getting the Suicide Six-Man underway. The first man to gain the pinfall would be the new champion. Guerrera delivered the Juvi Driver, by was stopped by the former champion, The Artist. Daffney climbed to the top for a huracanrana, but caught Crowbar on accident. Crowbar was laid out by Lash on the outside and a series of dives over the top rope followed. 04/26/00 Wednesday Thunder - Paisley with The Artist d. Tammy with Chris Candido
Tammy told the crowd she was going to show them what all the guys came to see. She disrobed, wearing only a sports bra and leather shorts, much to the delight of every healthy, American male. After the match, Candido and Tammy attacked, leaving Paisley and The Artist lying on the mat. [wcw.com]

05/07/00 Slamboree PPV - WCW Cruiserweight Title Match - Chris Candido with Tammy d. The Artist with Paisley
Tammy said that she would "show hers" but as she started to disrobe, Candido covered her up as The Artist's music ended her dance. After a pretty equal match, The Artist tried for a German suplex pin attempt, but only got a two count. On the outside, Candido ran The Artist's back into the guardrail and delivered a backdrop on the ramp before both headed back into the ring. Hard Knox tried for a missed huracanrana off the top, which allowed The Artist to go for a badly implemented and poorly overshot rolling schoolboy that Chris had to save, so that The Artist could appear to go for the near fall. While The Artist went for the pin Tammy distracted the ref complaining about an injury to her foot. This caused Paisley to attack and then back off to check her man. This gave Tammy the opportunity to crack The Artist with a chair leading Candido to the win after a flying leg drop off the top rope.

After the bout, The Artist and Paisley tore Tammy's dress off. Personally I think that WCW should relax their high 'moral' standards. The reason? Come on, we get to watch Tammy get stripped to a pair of shorts and a tube top!?!?!? Get a grip guys. That's not what we, the viewer's, pay the hard earned $29.95 for. I'm not saying she should have been nude (although I sure wouldn't complain), but at least getting stripped to a bra and panties would have made us PPV junkies feel alot better.

07/26/00 Wednesday Thunder
The one thing The Artist could always depend on was that his sensual valet, Paisley, would be by his side. Up until recently, there was never a question as to who she stood by. Then came The Keewee, an eccentric wardrobe designer for WCW. Paisley immediately fell head over heels for this flamboyant character. This week on Thunder, when her loyalty was on the line, the confused vixen finally made her choice -- following the man of her dreams and leaving The Artist out in the cold.

Paisley slapped Cajun across the face at ringside, enraging the Corporal, as he tore into the former wardrobe designer. In the end however, it was Kwee Wee pinning Cajun for the victory. Major Gunns and Paisley got into a brief catfight before the men quickly intervened. The brawl resumed backstage, but the MIA and Kwee Wee finally separated the ladies.

09/17/00 Fall Brawl PPV - WCW 100 Kilogram and Under Title Match "Prime Time" Elix Skipper with Major Gunns d. Kwee-Wee with Paisley
Kwee-Wee and Prime Time slugged it out in the opening contest of WCW's autumn spectacular, Fall Brawl. Although on the Canadian border, the crowd chanted "USA," trying to get under the champion's skin. Skipper used some dazzling high flying moves to offset his opponent -- and to show he had what it takes to get the gold. As Paisley cheered for her man, Major Gunns encouraged the Buffalo crowd to restart their "USA" chant; Gunns tried anything to adversely affect Prime Time and Team Canada. As the action spilled outside, Skipper delivered an awesome moonsault from the top rope to the floor. The devastating move knocked down, not only Kwee-Wee, but a cameraman as well. Back inside, Elix went for the Overdrive, but Kwee-Wee brought him down with a powerbomb instead. It's been quite a few years since WCW held a bikini contest; and the promotion has never boasted such beautiful (and dangerous) ladies. Not only does the contest promise daring suits and surprise contestants, but WCW is also working to secure members of Howard Stern's "whack pack" as celebrity judges for the event. The first annual Miss WCW bikini contest will be held next Monday at Nitro in Uniondale, New York. All of your favorite WCW female personalities will be competing wearing bikinis that defy description. Included contestants are: Baby (Nitro Girl), Chae (Nitro Girl), Chiquita (Nitro Girl), Daffney, Leia Meow, Madusa, Major Gunns, Midajah, Ms. Jones, Paisley, Pamela Paulshock, Stacy Keibler (Miss Hancock), Starr (Nitro Girl), Syren (Nitro Girl), Torrie Wilson and Tygress. When The Franchise went to the apron, Kwee-Wee pulled him down which allowed Paisley to get the quick pin over Wilson. Douglas came in and delivered The Franchiser to Paisley, causing Tygress to run in and jump on Shane's back. He flipped her over and set her up for the move as well, but Konnan, who came in to rescue Tygress, stopped him.

The Lava Lamp Lounge: Tygress, Paisley, Major Gunns and Torrie Wilson
Awesome said he felt like Tony Orlando with a double dose of Dawn. All four girls tried to woo Awesome, mistakenly believing him to be one of the judges at the Miss WCW 2000 contest on Nitro. Paisley and Wilson got into a shouting match over whom Awesome would vote for in the pageant. Nitro Girls Chiquita and Chae came out to enter Monday night's contest -- and to set the record straight about Awesome as a potential judge. After Chae told the girls Awesome was not judging the contest, Gunns, Paisley, Wilson and Tygress trashed his set, pushing Mike over the back of the couch.

09/25/00 Monday Nitro - WCW Bikini Competition Winner -- Pamela Paulshock
Crackhead Bob, High Pitch Jerry, Beetlejuice, Fred the Elephant Boy and Hank the Angry Drunken Dwarf came out as the official judges. Chae, of the Nitro Girls, came out first, followed by Nitro Girl Chiquita and Torrie Wilson. Removing each other's robes, Tygress and Paisley were up next. Leia Meow entered, with Major Gunns finally joining the contest. Gunns wore a red, white, and blue bikini; Canadian convert "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan came to the ring and told her to shut her mouth. He covered the Major up with the Canadian flag, eliminating her from the contest. Pamela, who was wearing a fur coat, said it was getting hot. She removed her coat, revealing an amazing bikini. Although she said she wasn't entered in the competition, all of the Wack Pack voted for Pamela, making her the unanimous winner. Leia Meow grabbed Pam by the hair and threatened to whip her. Midajah ran out and pulled Meow away, starting a brief catfight before security arrived. [wcw.com] For pics - Click Here.

WebMaster's Note: Well there seems to be a bit of controversy over this event (See the Rumors below).  I have to agree with the WCW officials in their assessment of the event.  But part of that may have been because their 'standards and practices' seems to have dual standards.  From a viewer's angle - "How come I can see Leia Meow's ass while she's using her riding crop between Pamela's breast's but I cannot get a close up of most of the women taking their robes off and showing me what I tuned in for? T&A!!!"  Hey guys, that's what a Bikini Contest is for.  I'm not sure whether the women just weren't into it or the promotion just didn't take the whole thing seriously.  They pay the money to get Howard Stern's freaks as judges but then the girls and/or the promotion doesn't insure that every one looks like they really are into the event and having a good time?  Come on.  Of course if you read below this attitude might be in part to the supposed rumor that Pamela winning was 'fixed', but so what?  It's not like this Contest is going to win you anything.  Bottom Line - I'm not sure who we should blame for another non-event "event" (this makes two in a month - i.e. Hancock/Flair wedding), the women or the promotion but it was disappointing.  Even so OWOW has supplied you with a number of pics (90) from the event.

INTERNET RUMORS
WCW officials were disappointed with Nitro's bikini contest. Besides Torrie Wilson, none of the girls acted like it was bikini contest. Torrie played the crowd as she was supposed to. Pamela wasn't even wearing an actual bikini, if you noticed. [Chris Goldsmith]

There has been a little controversy over the scheduled Bikini Contest tonight on Nitro. Paula Paulshock who is a bikini contest regular refused to take place in this upcoming contest unless she was guaranteed the win. Bikini contests are usually fixed just like wrestling and the contracted woman always end up winning the contest. Apparently WCW women are not to happy with losing to an outsider. [Jimmy Van]

Pamela Paulshock refused to participate in the Nitro Bikini Contest unless she was promised the win. Instead of telling her to hit the bricks, they bowed down to her and agreed. The other girls were understandably upset with having to go out there and lose a worked contest to a girl who never even stripped down to her bikini bottoms. Amazingly WCW.com ran a poll asking who looked the best, and Pamela won that one as well. Congrats. [Justin Fritz]

Last night, at Nitro, many were expecting high expectations for the Swim Suit contest. First of all, it was said that the contest would be who could bare the most skin, which wasn't the case at all.  The best part about the competition was what WCW officials did to have Jim Duggan come out and cover up Major Gunns' American bathing suit. That segment was well planned and really added to the USA vs. Canada angle, in WCW. Other than that one high point, many fans were disappointed and WCW officials were also disappointed that the contest didn't get over well with the crowd, like they wanted. [Mark Peters]

10/25/00 Wednesday Thunder - WCW Hardcore Title Match - Reno d. Kwee-Wee with Paisley
Kwee-Wee and Paisley came to the ring with a pair of pink trashcans, ready for the big hardcore contest. Reno went after his challenger on the outside. Back in the ring, it was Kwee-Wee who used the plunder to gain an advantage. Kwee-Wee set up a table on the floor, but Reno took him down with a huge trashcan shot, and the action spilled into the crowd. They fought on the DJ stage, where Reno threw his colorful opponent into the Nitro Girl's cage. On the entrance ramp, Reno set Kwee-Wee for the "Roll the Dice," but Paisley stopped him with a can shot to the back. Kwee-Wee delivered a piledriver onto a paint tray, but in the end, it was Reno who delivered his patented finisher and took the win. After the bout, Paisley fell to the "Roll the Dice" as well. When the champion attempted to suplex Kwee-Wee to the outside, Sgt. A-WALL came out and chokeslammed the Hardcore Champion through the table on the floor.

11/06/00 Monday Nitro - Lance Storm with Team Canada d. Kwee-Wee with Paisley

11/15/00 Wednesday Thunder - Cruiserweight Title #1 Contenders Match - Kwee-Wee with Paisley d. Billy Kidman and Rey Mysterio Jr. with Tygress, Lieutenant Loco, Corporal Cajun, and Primetime Elix Skipper with Major Gunns

Outside, Major Gunns smacked the back of Tygress' head and blamed it on Paisley, starting a scuffle between the former Nitro Girls. Sgt. A-WALL came out to set things straight, but Doug Dellinger sent the three ladies and A-WALL backstage. Cajun and Loco doubled up on Primetime, but when they shoved referee Charles Robinson, he threw them both out of the contest. Kwee-Wee was the victim of a baseball slide to the groin by Kidman, followed by a BroncoBuster by Rey. Robinson eliminated Kidman, bringing the match down to three. Kwee-Wee almost immediately eliminated Mysterio, but Skipper jumped on him, trying to gain the deciding fall to become the number one contender. Jim Duggan attempted to enter with his 2x4, but Meng stopped him. Amid the chaos, Kwee-Wee rolled Skipper up for the pin, becoming the next in line for a Cruiserweight title shot. [wcw.com]

Commissioner Mike Sanders backhanded Kwee-Wee across the face to get things going in the opening contest. "Angry Alan" came out early, knocking Sanders to the floor to collect his thoughts. The Natural Born Thrillers arrived and Mark Jindrak dropped Kwee-Wee behind the referee's back, putting the commish in control. Paisley retreated to the dressing room, returning with an "afro" wig and Meng, who jumped on the Thrillers at ringside. Ric Flair showed up with WCW security, throwing Meng and the NBT out of the ringside area. Kwee-Wee staged a comeback and had the crowd behind him. Using his speed and agility, he sent Sanders reeling. Paisley entered the ring and delivered a handspring elbow to the champion, but, in the end, it was Sanders who took the win, retaining his Cruiserweight Title. [wcw.com]

12/04/00 Monday Nitro - Chavo Guerrero Jr. d. Kwee-Wee with Paisley
Chavo attacked Kwee-Wee as he entered the ring. "Angry Alan" emerged from within the eccentric wardrobe designer, pounding on Guerrero, displaying a new attitude of his own since leaving The MIA last week. As Guerrero went to the outside for a chair, Paisley pulled it from the ring, slapping Chavo in the process and setting her man up for a near fall. After a brief exchange, Chavo delivered a brain buster to gain the victory.

12/12/00 Monday Nitro (On Tuesday Night) - No Contest - Screamin' Norman Smiley vs. Meng with Paisley
Norman told the crowd he was coming back to the hardcore division, challenging anyone in the back. Meng came to the ring with Paisley to accept the challenge. The fight moved up the aisle, where Smiley took a sack away from a man in the crowd dressed as Santa. As they made their way into the ring Santa followed, throwing powder in their faces before tossing Paisley into the path of a blinded Meng's Tongan death grip. Santa removed his beard and wig to reveal he was Terry Funk and destroyed everyone with a steel chair. The hardcore legend challenged Crowbar to a title match at Starrcade. That '70s champ said it would be an honor to wrestle his idol, but was taken down by a Funk chair shot as well.
