Scene . . . Greenwich resident and WWE's Triple H, aka Hunter Hearst Helmsley, at Moonstruck, former site of the Coffee Tree on Greenwich Avenue in Greenwich, during Christmas week. The Grand Slam Champion and King of the Ring and the Royal Rumble reportedly has broken up with Stephanie McMahon, Smackdown's general manager and the beautiful daughter of WWE's creator Vince McMahon.

02/13/03 Thursday Smack Down!
Kurt Angle was shown in Stephanie's office with a flower in his hand and Stephanie showed up. Kurt told Steph that her hair looks great and she thanked him and then she said that she's got to let Kurt know about something. Kurt said he has something to tell her and he's got something to show her. Kurt showed her the rose and Stephanie thanked him but what she needs to talk to him about is a match. Kurt said that they are a perfect match! Kurt got ready to kiss Stephanie but Brock Lesnar showed up. Kurt asked him what the hell he's doing here and Stephanie said this is what she was trying to tell him about... at No Way Out, it's going to be a six man tag team match. Kurt and Team Angle vs. the team of Edge, Chris Benoit and Brock Lesnar! Kurt got angered and Brock said that he likes that and he's looking forward to that. The other thing he's looking forward to is tonight when he has a match with John Cena. Brock invited Kurt Angle to be ringside so he can witness Brock Lesnar, first hand. Oh, Happy Valentines Day. 02/27/03 Thursday Smack Down!
Funaki and Torrie Wilson made their way out to the ring for a mixed tag team match against Jamie Noble and Nidia. Funaki started it off in the ring against Jamie Noble and the two locked it up and Noble took Funaki down with a snap mare and then he went off the ropes and came back with a shoulder block to knock Funaki down. Nidia was tagged into the ring by Noble and she went to the top rope and came off with a big splash but Funaki rolled out of the way and immediately tagged in Torrie Wilson. Torrie planted Nidia with a Russian leg sweep and then pinned her for a two count as Dawn Marie came out and got on the ring apron. Torrie shoved Nidia into Dawn to knock her down and then she rolled Nidia up for the three count to pick up the win.

Stephanie's came out and said that the following announcement is for mature audiences only and she's referring to Hugh Hefner's proposal of a WWE Diva posing in Playboy. That is of course if you really want to see one of the Divas in the buff. Do you really want to see what's beneath their clothes and under their lingerie? Do you really want to see their bare breasts and everything else naked? Well then congratulations to Stephanie! Oh, she didn't mean that she's going to be in Playboy but congratulations to her for closing the deal because ladies and gentlemen, the hottest, sexiest, finest diva that will be featured in next month's Playboy Magazine will be Torrie Wilson! With that said, Torrie jumped around in the ring, excited about the announcement and she's going to be on the cover of Playboy!

Stephanie was shown in her office and Kurt Angle showed up with Paul Heyman and Kurt said that he wants to talk to her. Paul said that he's got it... Paul then talked about how much respect he has for Stephanie and her family. Since he's competing against Brock Lesnar, can there be a small concession? Such as please don't do this?! Paul begged in front of Stephanie and Kurt backed him off and then sent him on his way. Kurt apologized and Stephanie thought that Kurt put him up to it. Kurt asked Stephanie why don't they start where they left off at Valentines Day? Remember that not only do they have a business relationship, but they have a personal relationship as well. Kurt said they know they have a thing for each other and Stephanie admitted it and she said that there's a time and a place for everything and right now, it's time for business. She and Kurt had something in the past but he needs to be thinking about his future and his title match against Brock Lesnar. Kurt said that he's got that covered but Stephanie said that his match at Wrestlemania just might be a rematch. Kurt asked what she's talking about? Stephanie ranted on Kurt and then she said that should Brock defeat Paul Heyman, then he will have to face Brock Lesnar and put his title on the line next week! Everyone's favorite WWE Couple -- Triple H & Stephanie McMahon -- are reportedly going to tie the knot this coming October. SLAM! Wrestling is reporting that the Nikkan Sports newspaper in Japan has reported that the couple will get married later this year.

Of course, this hasn't been officially confirmed or announced by either the WWE or the happy couple, but we wish them the best of luck...if their TV marriage said anything, hopefully this one will turn out to the exact opposite. [Daniel Bradshaw, PowerWrestling.com]

05/01/03 Thursday SmackDown!
Stephanie McMahon was shown walking backstage and Josh Matthews tried to find out who Mr. America is? Stephanie said that's the question on everyone's mind. The truth is that she doesn't know. She signed Mr. America as soon as she saw him and she beat Eric Bischoff in doing so. A few minutes later Stephanie was shown coming out of Mr. America's locker room and she didn't seem too happy as displayed on the look on her face.

Stephanie McMahon was shown backstage and she seemed to be out of it as a backstage worker showed up. Stephanie seemed scared and she said she needs a few minutes alone. The backstage worker told Stephanie that her father is on his way to the arena, right now which sent more fear down the spine of the Smackdown! General Manager.  Awhile later, Stephanie was shown in the parking lot on the phone and she was trying to call her father and she left him a number of messages, telling him not to come to the arena. A vehicle pulled up and it was Brock Lesnar and Stephanie told him that he's not supposed to be here because he has the night off. Brock told her that he's got something he has to do and Stephanie nervously said "OK." Obviously something is making Stephanie uneasy about Mr. America.

Stephanie was shown again, leaving her dad some more messages, assuming that he won't be showing up. Vince pulled up and Stephanie wanted to take him back to the hotel. Vince wanted to stay and meet this guy Mr. America. Stephanie said that as far as he's concerned, she beat out Eric Bischoff and signed him. Vince said that he understands this guy is like 7 foot tall... he can't wait to meet him. Vince told Stephanie that he's proud of her as Stephanie tried to convince him to leave.

Roddy Piper made his way out to the ring with Sean O'Haire for a special edition of Piper's Pit with the debut of Mr. America! Now let's get down to business. We have a man that Roddy is excited to meet. He's a newcomer and Piper heard all about this guy and he wants to let him debut on Piper's Pit. So without further adieu, here is Mr. America!  Mr. America came out to the ring, using Hulk Hogan's music from the 90s and he did Hulk Hogan's posing and guess what? It IS Hulk Hogan... under a mask.

Vince McMahon's music hit in the arena and he made his way out, furious. Vince told Hogan to get the hell out of here because he's fired. Mr. America said that he's not going anywhere brother because he didn't sign with Vince, he signed with Stephanie McMahon and he signed with her an iron clad contract that says Mr. America can't be fired, Mr. America can't be suspended so he's here to stay, brother! Stephanie McMahon is not making any friends backstage in WWE as she recently told WWE writers that their job is not to argue the storylines with her father, Vince McMahon, but to follow what he tells them to write and they are strictly not allowed to disagree with him. Many feel that Stephanie was out of line with her comments, as many of the writers have expressed their fear of Vince McMahon since he demoted Paul Heyman as head writer. Despite some writers within WWE agreeing with Heyman’s demotion, the feeling is still that he was demoted because he challenged McMahon several times on certain directions of storylines. Vince took the mic and said that tonight right here in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada, Vince McMahon presents Hulk Hogan! For those of you who think that he's had a change of heart about Hogan, think again. Hogan is going to be here, but he's going to be here via satellite and not physically here. The fans booed and Vince said that he's spending money to hook Hogan up from his hometown of Tampa, Florida. Since Hogan isn't going to be here, that means that Mr. America won't be here as well. Now the whole damn world knows that Mr. America really is Hulk Hogan. The whole world knows it, even the Canadians in attendance tonight.

Vince introduced the General Manager, Stephanie McMahon to the ring. Vince didn't let her music play because he didn't seem too pleased with her. Vince then asked Stephanie how she got him into this mess. Tell him how and why she signed so called Mr. America to a contract. Stephanie said she did what she thought was right for the fans of Smackdown!. She did what she thought was right for business. She heard all about Mr. America and she wanted him and she's got him. Vince congratulated her because he didn't want Mr. America. So what are the terms and conditions of the contract? Stephanie said that he had to counter Bischoff's every offer to sign him. Therefore, she had to offer him a contract she has never offered before. Mr. America cannot under any circumstances be fired or suspended. Vince said that he's so proud of Stephanie that he can't tell her how proud he is. Now then why doesn't she tell him how he's going to get out of this contract? How is he going to break it, because he's going to do it? Stephanie said that she's been thinking about it all week since he put her job on the line. There is one way... if he can prove that Mr. America is Hulk Hogan then Mr. America's contract is null and void. Vince said that he has some thoughts on the matter and he would suggest that Stephanie takes her leave and think about it as well. Vince told her to come up with some really good ideas and while she is thinking about how Vince is going to break this contract, without further adieu, live from Tampa, Florida, he gives us Hulk Hogan.

Vince asked Hogan how Mr. America is and how is he these days? Vince asked Hogan why he risked everything that he has by showing up on Smackdown! as Mr. America last week? Hogan said that he doesn't know what Vince is talking about. Hogan said that he's dying sitting at home. Maybe one day he will get a chance to return to action and maybe he'll get a chance to team up with Mr. America, brother! Hogan informed Vince that there is a good chance that Mr. America just might show up there tonight, dude! Vince said that he seriously doubts that. None the less, George Washington was an old fool and Hogan would be a fool to continue this charade because if and when Mr. America shows his ugly face again, Vince will rip the mask right off his face and expose him for who Hogan is. So whatchu gonna do when Vincent Kennedy McMahon rips the red, white and blue off of him and destroys him?!

Later in the evening, Mr. America made his way out to the ring to Hulk Hogan's old music and he continued to do the Hulk Hogan mannerisms as Vince and Stephanie watched on from the backstage area. As the fans heavily chanted "Hogan, Hogan," Vince got a close look at the screen to try to see who it was in the ring. Mr. America took the mic and said "Well let me tell you something brothers!" With that, Vince and Stephanie both got up and Mr. America said that he came here to the great white north to make a simple point... like he said last week, he is not Hulk Hogan! He knows right now that Hulk Hogan is at home watching and he has one thing to say to Hogan is thank you.

Vince McMahon's music hit in the arena and he made his way out, an angered man. Vince said that he knows what Hogan is trying to pull off. Last time he checked, Hulkamania wasn't some sort of a super hero. Last time he checked, Vince McMahon was a man of his word and out here tonight earlier, he said that if Hogan ever showed up in his ring again, he was going to rip the mask right off of his face! That's exactly what his daughter Stephanie is going to do. Stephanie then came out and Vince whispered something into her ear and Vince told Mr. America that this is the way this is going to go down... like he said before, he's a man of his word. Vince got Mr. America to turn his back and then he gave Mr. America a low blow and then he tried to tear the mask off of Mr. America but Mr. America fought to keep the mask on. Mr. America shoved Vince off of him and Stephanie went sailing down to the mat and then Mr. America "hulked up." Vince turned around and saw Mr. America and Vince went for a right hand on Mr. America but in typical Hogan fashion, Mr. America knocked Vince down with two right hands! Mr. America then lifted Stephanie off the mat and carried her to the backstage area.

Later backstage, Stephanie was shown getting an ice pack on her head and Vince stormed into the ring looking for Hogan. The trainer told Vince that security saw him leaving the building and Stephanie didn't seem too pleased that Vince didn't show compassion for her. Stephanie then told Vince that he's the one that hurt her, not Mr. America. Vince tried to blame Hogan but she'll be all right. She's a McMahon, damnit. [PowerWrestling.com]

Stephanie was shown backstage and there were some flowers on her desk and she thought they were from her father. Vince showed up with a smile on his face and he asked Stephanie how she's doing? Vince wanted to set the record straight between them about last week. He knows she feels badly because she bundled that whole thing. Vince would have taken his mask off and he accepts her apology. Stephanie questioned that because after what he said out there, he thought that these roses were actually an apology from Vince to her but they're not. The red and yellow roses are actually from Hulk Hogan. Hulk was watching Smackdown! last week and he wanted to make sure she was OK. The red and white ones with the blue ribbon are from Mr. America as he was apologizing. Stephanie apparently believes that Mr. America and Hulk Hogan are two different people and before she left, she thanked Vince for accepting her apology. After Stephanie left the room, Vince destroyed the flowers.

Mr. America was shown arriving at the arena and Stephanie showed up and Mr. America noticed her black eye. Stephanie thanked him for the flowers and it meant a lot. Stephanie asked him to thank Hulk Hogan for her and then she gave him a kiss on the cheek. [PowerWrestling.com]

According to backstage sources, Stephanie McMahon's role in writing isn't as significant as it's made out to be and she ends up taking more criticism than is justified. Apparently, every segment on both Raw and Smackdown! are approved and directed by Vince McMahon, whereas Stephanie is more of an "administrator" of the writing staff and the meetings. [RajahWWF.com]

Many are now wondering if the Stephanie McMahon/Triple H angle at Judgement Day will lead to a possible reunion between the two. Some rumors even go as far as to say the actual marriage between them will be televised which is obviously not true. However a "storyline" reunion is possible seeing how Stephanie McMahon has not been doing as much on Smackdown and could end up aiding Triple H somehow during his feud with Kevin Nash. Stephanie was shown backstage and she confronted her father. Stephanie questioned Vince's judgment. He's in the ring and he challenges Zach Gowen to an arm wrestling contest? Vince claimed he's giving him an opportunity. Stephanie said that Zach Gowen is a handicap person and he has overcome incredible odds and if anyone deserves a contract, it's Zach. And if Vince isn't going to give it to him, then Stephanie will. Vince told Stephanie that if she gives him a contract, she's fired. Now then, calm your little self down because she needs some assistance around the office. As a matter a fact, Vince has hired her a new assistant and that's none other than Sable. Stephanie went into her office only to see Sable sprawled out on her desk and Stephanie asked Vince what position Sable is qualified for? Vince said that she's qualified at a number of positions. Stephanie said sure, that's all it takes is good looks, huh? Does he forget that Sable sued the company for millions of dollars and jumped on the bandwagon of any person that tried to sue the WWE? And she sued for sexual harassment and all of this goes by the wayside because she shakes her fanny in Vince's direction. That's all it takes for him, doesn't it? Vince said that was then and this is now. He's figured it out; he knows why she's upset, because she's jealous of Sable's looks. Sable was shown backstage working the computer and Stephanie showed up. Sable and Stephanie greeted each other and Sable said that she was just looking for Zach Gowen's contract. She didn't find it, but she did see that Stephanie was bringing back the United States Championship. Stephanie thanked Sable for ruining the surprise and then she told Sable that she may try to sweet talk her and try to lie to her, saying that she was looking for Zach's contract, but she doesn't trust Sable. Sable said that she's her assistant and she's here to help. Stephanie said that they have to get something straight; she doesn't want or need an assistant, especially Sable. If Sable thinks she can out manipulate Stephanie, then she's got another thing coming.

Stephanie's music hit in the arena and she made her way out to the ring as the General Manager of Smackdown!. Stephanie took the mic and said that as your General Manager of Smackdown!, she is there to oversee the Arm Wrestling Contest between Zach Gowen and Mr. McMahon. If Zach wins, he'll win his first ever Smackdown! contract, right here tonight. Stephanie prepared to introduce Zach but Sable's music hit and she made her way out. Stephanie did her best to ignore Sable and then she went on to introduce Zach Gowen, accompanied by Mr. America. Stephanie then introduced Mr. McMahon to the ring and he came out, looking more jacked up than ever.

Mr. America took the mic and said number one, Vince McMahon is in the wrong warzone. This is the red, the white and the blue of Orlando, Florida, brother! And he's definitely fighting the wrong battle because Hulk Hogan is sitting at home watching and Zach Gowen isn't in Vince's battle sights. The problem he has is with Mr. America, so what he suggests is that Vince puts his spaghetti string on the table so Mr. America can break it in half! Vince then put himself over and then he told Mr. America that if he wants to take him on, the answer is no. He didn't sign to arm wrestle him, he signed to arm wrestle that little kid right there. No, so get out of the ring. Sable went over to Vince and whispered something in his ear and Vince quickly changed his mind, but there's two stipulations. Number one, they're not arm wrestling for Zach's contract. That's between he and Zach. The second one is that after Mr. America loses, he leaves the premises. Mr. America said; put that skinny little arm down there, brother!

Mr. America and Vince McMahon then had their arm wrestling contest and Mr. America had some fun with Vince but Sable said that Mr. America is cheating and that ended it. Stephanie told Sable that if she puts her hands on another contestant, she'll call it a disqualification and declare Mr. America the winner. The two locked it up again and as they were going, Sable flashed Mr. America and Vince quickly slammed Mr. America's arm down, getting the win.

Vince then told the ring announcer to announce the winner and that's none other than Vince McMahon. An angered Mr. America got face to face with Vince and Vince begged him to hit him because Zach Gowen will never get a contract! Vince then asked Mr. America if he's going to get out of the ring and let Zach try for a contract, or is Mr. America going to get his ass kicked by Vince? Vince then told Mr. America to leave and take Stephanie with him. Just for the record, Vince would just like to state that Sable has the most beautiful set of eyes he's ever seen. Vince then dismissed Sable and thanked her for the advice.

Vince then talked some trash, saying it's going to be Zach Gowen and Mr. McMahon, how about that? He doesn't have a prayer of winning this event! Vince and Zach then arm wrestled and Vince played with him and Zach almost got Vince down but Vince kicked Zach's legs out from under him to pick up the victory. Vince said that he'd like to say good try, but he didn't quite make it.  [PowerWrestling.com]

Triple H's appearance on ABC's Jimmy Kimmell show was very short. It was simply a plug for the Hell in a Cell match. Triple H came off as he usually does in interviews, although had a tremendous interaction with this four-year-old wrestling fan named Alex, who was also a guest on the show.

- Kimmel mentioned the Stephanie/Triple H engagement and said that they're going to get married and have a kid to beat Alex up. Alex, of course, says no one will ever beat him up. Triple H then says it's tough marrying the boss's daughter, but he did the right thing and talked to Vince before proposing, even though he didn't have to since he's beaten Vince up before.

- It seemed like Kimmel had another question relating to the Stephanie/Triple H marriage, but the segment just ended with the kid and Triple H having some more fun going into the commercial break. [Ben Johnson, PWtorch.com]

Zach Gowen was shown walking through the backstage area and he came across Spanky and Bill DeMott. Spanky said that he's sorry about the arm wrestling thing and he should have a contract. Zach said it's OK and he asked where Stephanie's office is. They told him where to go and he headed to her office where Sable answered the door.

A little later Zach and Sable were shown and Sable told Zach that she's sure Stephanie will be back soon. Sable then asked Zach why he doesn't make himself more comfortable? Zach said that he's fine. Sable then said that she's sorry for what happened last week. She would never interfere against him because she has so much respect for him. But he did look, didn't he? Zach said yeah and Sable said that she didn't mind. Last week, he had the opportunity to see, but how would he like to feel it? Zach felt her breast and had a look on his face like a 16 year old would in that position.

After a match Sable was shown backstage, making out with Zach Gowen and she shoved him down and pushed everything off the desk and mounted him, asking him if he wanted her. Sable told Zach to tell her that he wants her. Zach said he wants her so bad and Sable said too bad. Is he crazy? Does he think he can have a woman like her? He's not even a real man. He can't even satisfy her! Vince McMahon stormed into the office and called Zach a freak, asking what the hell this is?! Zach left the room and Vince laughed, telling Sable that she was great. Vince and Sable then hugged in the back, laughing at what they did to Zach Gowen.

A few minutes later Vince and Sable were shown backstage, and Vince complimented Sable on her performance and to think, they pulled it off in Stephanie's office. Vince has to think of some way to thank her. Vince stood up and he said he guesses there are a couple ways to thank her. Why don't they start with a kiss? Vince said that he's got a better idea. What if he plays Zach Gowen and tells Sable that he wants her? Sable mounted Vince and the two made a mockery of Zach Gowen. Vince told Sable to hold the phone because he's got wood. Wait a minute, it's just his leg! Vince told Sable to show him how bad she can be?

Stephanie entered the room and told Sable to get out. Stephanie said that she's sorry that all her life, she's let Vince manipulate her and use her. All her life, just to be the apple of her daddy's eye. Every time she went out to dinner with one of Vince's business associates, do you think they didn't tell her what Vince promised she'd do? And you know what, she did it and she's ashamed of herself. Stephanie went on a rant, saying that she cares about Zach Gowen because he's the last way she can save herself. If Vince is going to fire her, then do it. Then maybe he'll lose the only person that wanted to be like him. Maybe she just won't care about him anymore! Vince McMahon's music hit in the arena and he made his way out to the ring with something on his mind. Vince took the mic and said that at this time, he'd like to invite to the ring two individuals who have had a profound impact on his life recently. He'd like to invite to the ring Zach Gowen and his daughter Stephanie McMahon.

Stephanie's music started playing in the arena and she made her way out with Zach Gowen. Vince thanked them for joining him out here. He'd like to start with Stephanie if she doesn't mind. Vince told Stephanie that he feels that last week, her comments of scorn are still ringing in his ears but he'd like to state that she has always been the apple of his eye. She always has been daddy's little girl and she always will. Even when she was just a little girl and she had a cute little haircut, she was absolutely precious and then she grew up on him quickly. He admits that when she was 17, he admits that he asked her to close certain business deals for him and to help him and she did. He didn't realize at the time what he had done until last week. Some would say he's immoral or amoral. He doesn't know but he realizes what he did. He stole something from her. He stole her innocence from her and it's almost as if he personally deflowered her. Even though since she's just like him and she may be able to forgive him, he'll never forgive himself for what he did.

Which brings him to Zach Gowen because just as he learned himself about himself last week, he learned something about himself as it relates to Zach Gowen. It's real simple and he finally figured it out and it's this; Vince McMahon wants to be Zach Gowen. As strange as that sounds to him, it's true. He's Vince McMahon and he's done everything that anyone can possibly do. He's a billionaire but he hasn't done what Zach has done. What Zach has done is that he looked death in the eye and spit right in their face. Vince admires that. It takes courage and as he stands here before this crowd on one leg, he admires that. Vince has tilted windmills but he's never been Zach Gowen. Vince McMahon wants to be Zach Gowen. So maybe they can understand each other a little bit better now. So maybe he doesn't have to ask Stephanie, but he'll ask Zach and that's simply if he'll accept Vince's apology for everything he's done. He wants to wipe the slate clean and start all over. Vince asked Zach if he'll accept his apology and Zach took the mic and said no.

Vince said that he has to think about this for a bit; he thinks Zach just said no. Vince then demanded that Zach accept his apology. Zach told Vince that he heard him, he said no. Vince told Zach to get a hold of himself. He understands he intimidates people. Zach told Vince to look him in the eye as he called him a son of a bitch. Zach has seen intimidation and Vince isn't it. He has been through things in his life that would make Vince cry. He's overcome obstacle over obstacle to get where he's at. He busted his ass to become a professional wrestler and Vince wants to make a joke out of him? Zach is sick of it and enough is enough and it's not going to happen anymore. Now Vince wants to save himself and feel good about himself by offering Zach an apology? Zach spits on Vince's apology. Here's what Vince can offer him and that's the thing he wants most in this whole world and the thing he's been fighting for since the day he's been born, he can offer him a WWE Smackdown! wrestling contract.

Vince got a smirk on his face and said that's what this is all about? He wants a contract? He's got it! Vince started to leave and Zach questioned Vince but Vince said that Zach has his contract but he has it under one condition; he does want to earn his contract, he doesn't want to have it handed to him, right? So let's earn the contract, since he won't accept his apology and since he doesn't like the looks his daughter has been giving him, Zach can earn his contract by joining a very special club here in the Garden. And that's the Vince McMahon Kiss My Ass Club. Vince started to unbutton his pants and he told Zach to pucker up and kiss his ass and he's got his contract. Stephanie went over to Zach and Vince told her to tell him to kiss Vince's ass for the contract. Stephanie said something to Zach and Vince told Zach to get on his knees. He wants this contract more than life itself. Zach got on his knees and instead of kissing Vince's ass, he gave Vince a low blow and then he and Stephanie left the ring together!

During the final match of the evening with Kurt Angle, Mr. America and Brock Lesnar up against Shelton Benjamin, Charlie Haas and The Big Show, Big Show grabbed both Angle and Lesnar by the throat and he gave the two a double choke slam. Mr. America then got in the ring and he went to finish The Big Show off but Vince McMahon dragged Zach Gowen out to the arena. Vince told Mr. America that he has something that belongs to him; one of his friends. There's something wrong with him. Vince asked Mr. America to tell him what's wrong with him? He's got a stomach ache! Vince kicked Zach in the stomach as he rolled around on the ground and then The Big Show gave Mr. America a choke slam in the ring and then pinned him for the three count to get the win.

Vince said that he's not exactly finished with Zach. Vince nailed Zach and said that he wanted to be a wrestler in the WWE and it looks like Zach can't quite cut it. Vince gave Zach a hard right hand to knock him down and then Stephanie came out and begged her father to leave him alone. He's done enough. Vince then told Zach that he's got himself an opportunity for a contract because he's putting Zach in a match and he's not alone in that match because his partner is Stephanie McMahon. The word going around the SmackDown locker room at the taping last night in New York City is that there has been a major transition in wrestler attitudes. Several wrestlers are said to be growing increasingly frustrated with how they are being used by management and are starting to complain about it openly.

Even the most general fan can tell which wrestlers on the SmackDown roster have been used in the wrong way as of late. Nevertheless, most of the complaints are directed to the writers and the agents and everyone is far too intimidated to go up to Vince McMahon and tell him their problems due to the fact they are scared that it will leave them jobless.

Most critics feel that Vince is spending all of his creative time on his storyline with Mr. America Hogan and Zach Gowen and is not paying attention to the rest of the product. Vince is also taking a heavy amount of criticism for the controversial storyline that he has given his daughter Stephanie.  Perhaps the worst thing to come out of this is the SmackDown locker room was considered to be the one that got along and the RAW roster is where everyone fought. 07/03/03 Thursday SmackDown!
The show opened up with footage from last week, going over the events between Zach Gowen and Vince McMahon. By the end of the night, Vince McMahon made a match for tonight's edition of Smackdown! and that's The Big Show against Zach Gowen and Stephanie McMahon in a Handicap Match. If Zach and Stephanie win the match, Gowen will be awarded a WWE contract.

Later on Vince McMahon was shown backstage and Stephanie showed up and asked him if he's serious about her being in this Handicap Match against The Big Show tonight? Vince said that she seems nervous. She's wondering whether or not Vince would put her in harm's way like she did to Vince last week, huh? Stephanie said that she doesn't think you can compare to the two. Maybe she encouraged Zach to hit Vince in his testicles, but that doesn't compare to being in the ring against a giant. Zach has trained for a few weeks and Stephanie is a woman. She's not a wrestler and The Big Show is a giant. Vince said there's an old adage; spare the rod, spoil the child. Stephanie said that she isn't a child. Brock Lesnar hasn't even been able to defeat The Big Show. Stephanie asked Vince to reconsider and Vince said that all along, he thought that she was daddy's little girl. On that note, he wished her good luck on her match tonight and to be careful and not get hurt.

After a match Stephanie was shown going through her gear and Sable showed up and said that she can't believe Vince is going to go through with this. Stephanie could really get hurt but she's sure Mr. McMahon would never forgive himself if anything were to happen to her. Stephanie asked Sable what she wants and Sable said that she came to check on her and to let her know that she'll be watching her and to wish her luck tonight. But if anything unfortunate were to happen, Stephanie wouldn't have to worry about Smackdown! because Sable is sure that she'd be able to satisfy Vince as the General Manager of Smackdown!.

Zach Gowen was shown backstage and he was stretching, preparing for tonight's match and The Big Show showed up and stepped on Zach's leg. Big Show told Zach that he has one leg already gone and that means he has one leg left. Big Show laughed and went on his way as Zach was frightened.

Just before match time Stephanie McMahon was shown walking through the backstage area and The Big Show showed up to intimidate her. Big Show told Stephanie that he hopes she knows what she's doing and he hopes she doesn't get hurt out there. Big Snow sniffed her hair and said that there's so many other ways he'd like to hurt her. Stephanie left upset and Vince showed up and reminded The Big Show that this is his daughter he's going to be in the ring with. Vince then told Big Show that he might want to listen to his announcement because it concerns The Big Show and one Mr. America.

Vince McMahon's music hit in the arena and he made his way out to the ring with Sable and he's got two announcements tonight. Vince asked the fans how they like his daughter's assistant, Sable? Sable got a mixed reaction and Vince said that it was a matter of time before he sealed the fate of Mr. America. All of this started right after Wrestlemania when he sent Hogan home to rot. That's right, he never again wanted Hogan to ever perform in a WWE ring. He wanted to deny him and the Hulkamaniacs that privilege. And he did. By the way, he paid him to stay at home. So what's wrong with Hogan? Most of you would take a paycheck to stay at home but not Hogan. You see, Hogan has to come out and reinvent himself all over again and create this new character in Mr. America. That's OK because it was just a matter of time when he proved that Mr. America really was Hulk Hogan. And once he proved that, both Mr. America and Hulk Hogan's contracts would be null and void. So that would bring him to last week's Smackdown!. Knowing Mr. America was going to be there in Madison Square Garden and he was going to want to do something very special for the audience and he did. He didn't disappoint and neither did Vince. Vince thought Mr. America would be up to something and he was. Vince told the camera men to keep rolling after Smackdown! went off the air and that's exactly what happened. So now, he's going to show us footage that's never been seen before; this is after Smackdown! ended last week in Madison Square Garden. At the end of the show, Mr. America removed the mask, revealing himself as Hulk Hogan.

Vince said that he'd like to thank those cameramen who recorded that footage for him because quite frankly, Hulk Hogan and Mr. America just aren't here tonight. The fans chanted for Hogan and Vince told them to chant all they want because he's not here tonight. Why? Because they're at home and they're going to stay at home. As a matter a fact, Mr. America and Hulk Hogan are at the same place at the same time as we speak and they will be at the same place tomorrow morning in the unemployment line. Vince has wanted to say this for a long time; "Mr. America/Hulk Hogan, read my lips, you're fired!"

Now onto someone who wants to win a WWE contract. He has one leg and he has no business in the World Wrestling Entertainment. Out of the goodness of his heart, he told Zach Gowen that he could have his contract if he wanted. All he had to do was join the Mr. McMahon kiss my ass club. Vince is sure that a number of people wouldn't mind joining that club. Vince then said to look at all the ass kissers in the crowd. You see, Zach can't do anything the easy way. He has to do it the hard way and that's why tonight, Zach will join Stephanie in a Handicap Match against The Big Show. This won't be an ordinary handicap match tonight but it will be a no disqualification, no holds barred handicap match. And another big announcement has to do with Vengeance and the WWE Championship. Yes, it will be defended at Vengeance by the Champion Brock Lesnar and Lesnar won't be facing one man at Vengeance, he'll be facing two. You see, Brock Lesnar will be defending the WWE Title against Kurt Angle and The Big Show in a Triple Threat Match. Vince then asked Sable to join him in taking a little seat to enjoy the Handicap Match.

The Big Show's music hit in the arena and he has been added to the main event at Vengeance but tonight, The Big Show's focus is on Zach Gowen and Stephanie McMahon as he faces them in a No Holds Barred Handicap Match scheduled for one fall. Zach Gowen shoved The Big Show and attempted to hammer away on him but The Big Show backed Zach into the ropes and then he gave him a hard chop across the chest. Big Show then shoved Stephanie down to the mat and The Big Show went after Zach on the outside of the ring but Stephanie jumped onto Big Show's back and choked away on him.

Zach went under the ring and The Big Show pulled his leg off and then Zach nailed Big Show with a drop kick and then he went for a cross body but The Big Show caught him. Big Show then pressed Zach into the ring and then he lifted Stephanie McMahon up and did the same to her. The Big Show lifted Stephanie up by one hand and Vince got on the apron and told him to throw her and then Zach pulled Vince down and got in the ring and gave Big Show a number of right hands and then he went off the ropes, only to get knocked down with a clothesline.

Vince McMahon got in the ring and told The Big Show to give Zach Gowen a choke slam and he did just that. Stephanie and Vince came face to face and Vince backed Stephanie into The Big Show and he told him to give her a choke slam and he went for it but Kurt Angle came out to the ring and gave The Big Show a low blow. Kurt Angle then put The Big Show in the ankle lock and then Vince got in the ring with a chair and nailed Angle in the back with it. Kurt Angle gave The Big Show the Angle Slam and then Brock Lesnar came out and gave him the F5 and then Zach Gowen went to the top rope and came off with a moonsault on The Big show and then he pinned him for the three count to get the win! Stephanie celebrated with Zach as Kurt and Brock gave him a pat on the back before leaving the ring. It's official, Zach Gowen now has a WWE contract! [PowerWrestling.com]

Stephanie's standing the ring and she invites Zach Gowen to join her in the ring. Zach's music hits as he makes his way to ring. Once in the ring, he hugs Steph, and takes the mic. Zach tells everyone that last week his dreams came true when he won the match. He then thanks Steaphine, Angle and Lesnbar for their help, but most importantly he thanks the fans for their support, and he says they are his inspiration and heroes. He says he's very proud to be the next Smackdown! Superstar. Zach says: "Enough of the mushy crap, lets get down to business!" As Steph hands him a pen, Zach signs his contract. But before he can enjoy the moment, Vince McMahon's music hits, as he's accompanied down the ring by Sable, and as they both enter the ring.

Vince takes the mic, and says that he can speak for everyone over the world that he is truly proud of both Zach and Steph. Especially since Steph slapped him in the face last week, and since Zach was assisted to achieve his contract. He then announces that tonight there will be a handicap match with Brock Lesnar taking on The Big Show, Shelton Benjamin and Charlie Haas. He then says that Zach works for Vince, and that he will professional do everything he's told or be fired publicly. Vince then orders Zach to hobble all the way to Vengeance to take on Vince McMahon. But he tells him not to worry, as he mocks Zach by saying he's contemplating wrestling with one arm behind his back, or hopping on one leg. Vince then tells Zach that he'll make him regret the day he ever signed with the WWE. Because Zach may have survived cancer, but he wont survive Vince McMahon.

Suddenly Sable hits Stephanie in the head with the contract clipboard and knocks her senseless. Vince then Smiles and walks away with Sable as Zach tends to Stephanie.

Commercial break. Backstage Vince and Sable:

Vince kisses Sables hand and tells her how proud he is of her, as they both lock lips. Vince then takes a look at Sable, but within seconds Stephanie comes barging in the locker room and spears Sable knocking over the couch, as Steph pulls at Sables hair and tries to choke the life out of her. Steph is then assisted out of the locker room area, and Vince tells her that if she wants to fight so bad she'll have her chance at Vengeance when she'll take on Sable one on one in the ring. 07/17/03 Thursday SmackDown!
 Backstage Vince is on the phone when Stephanie enters the room. She tells him that she expected her father to take over her office and that she's ready to attack Sable at any given moment. Vince informs her that Sable is in the arena but she's isolated in a room to protect Steph from getting hurt. Vince tells Steph that Sable has offered to give her a peace offering, but that he doesn't know what it is. Steph discovers that the offering is a woman's product for PMS and knocks it out of Vince's hand and walks off infuriated.

Awhile later Vince enters the ring in a wild mood. He says that he was interrupted earlier by Lesnar when he tried to talk about his match at the next PPV. But before he does that he wants to recognize someone very special, and that's Sable, who's waiting in the sky box, he directs the camera angle towards her she waves to the cheering crowd. He then says that Sable is a hell cat. She's the kind of vixen who stalks her prey. And then she pounces on the prey. Then she mounts the prey. And then she rips the clothes off the prey. And then she goes on for hours and hours and hours. At this point Vince is beside himself in ecstasy just thinking about it, but then he suddenly switches gears and tells the audience that he really wants to talk about Gowen and the upcoming PPV match.

After a match we cut to the skybox where Sable is handed a drink and she thanks the woman. She sips it and then tells her that she doesn't mean to be rude, but her drink is supposed to be chilled. The woman takes the drink away to get another.

Later in the show we cut to the sky box again and Sable is shown with announcer Josh who asks Sable for her about the upcoming PPV match against Stephanie. Sable says that she would do anything for Vince even if it means taking out his daughter. A woman then enters the room to bring Sable another drink, and as Sable finishes the interview we see that it is Stephanie. Stephanie tells Sable "Here's your wine Sable" as she pours the whole glass over Sable's head.

Stephanie then arrives bringing Sable another glass of wine, she then pours it on Sables head. Sable goes insane and attacks Steph, pushing her over a chair, and then
picks her up and throws her into a counter covered with food. Sable then begins to choke Stephanie before banging her head into the food several times and making a complete shambles of the room. Josh tries to distract Sable but gets a stunning slap to his face for his troubles. Stephanie gets a chance to now jump Sable from behind and starts banging her head into the floor while covering Sable with food. With both women rolling around on the floor WWE assistants separate the two hellcats with both hurling insults at one another about what their going to do to each other at the PPV. The WWE senior management, which consists of Jim Ross (talent relations), Kevin Dunn (television production) and Ed Kauffman (legal affairs), were all promoted this past week. But the promotions seem to be only in their company title because their duties remain the same. Ross, Dunn and Kauffman were boosted up to Executive Vice President. Stephanie McMahon was promoted from Director of Creative to Vice President of Creative. A memo was sent out to all employees announcing their respective promotions. [H. Walk, RajahWWF.com]

07/24/03 Thursday SmackDown!
Stephanie McMahon's music hit in the arena and she made her way out to the ring as the General Manager of Smackdown!. Stephanie took the mic, saying that it's been a pretty tough week but she's not going to let her personal life effect business. Since Vince is taking care of her mother, tonight, she is taking back Smackdown! and she thinks Fresno, California would like a little competition. No more lop sided main events. Tonight, in this very ring, there will be a six man tag match featuring the World's Greatest Tag Team and The Big Show vs. Kurt Angle, Zach Gowen and the WWE Champion, Brock Lesnar!

Stephanie then talked about her match against Sable at Vengeance and at Vengeance, Stephanie plans to treat Sable like the bitch that she is! John Cena's music hit in the arena and he made his way out to the ring. Cena apologized for interrupting but he had this dream about her last night. She had him standing in attention, he can't wait to see her cat fight. Cena rapped about the Sable/Stephanie match and Cena offered her 20 bucks to please rip Sable's top off. He has this little fetish with nipples, he'll definitely get his rocks off. Cena wanted to slap Stephanie's ass and Stephanie dared him to do it and he did just that. Sable's music then hit in the arena and she showed up on the Titantron. Sable said that Stephanie must like to be slapped around and then they showed the footage from last week when Sable and Stephanie brawled in the skybox. Stephanie asked what happened to the rest of it? Did she conveniently edit out the part where Stephanie took Sable down and security had to take her off? Sable said Stephanie is right, but that's nothing compared to what happened to Linda on Monday night. Sable told Stephanie to take care of her mother because Sable will be taking care of her father. Sable then told Stephanie that if she wants a piece of Sable then to come get some. Stephanie quickly got out of the ring and headed to the backstage area.

During the break Stephanie went through the backstage area, looking for Sable but she found Torrie. Stephanie asked Torrie where Sable is and Torrie said that she thinks she went to the parking lot. Stephanie then went on her way, looking for Sable.

Sable was shown in the parking lot and Stephanie charged after her and slammed her head into a limo and then Sable tried to get in the limo to leave but Stephanie pulled her back and pulled her top and bra right off! (censored) Sable then got in the limo and locked the door and Stephanie banged on the limo, wanting to get in. Stephanie then laughed and grabbed a lead pipe and went to break the window but Vince McMahon showed up and stopped her. Vince asked her what she's doing and Stephanie told him that he's supposed to be at home taking care of Linda. Vince said that Stephanie should have one thing on her mind and that's her match with Sable at Vengeance because if she's not careful, she's going to wind up incapacitated, just like her mother. During Heat Sable was shown in the skybox with Josh Matthews and Sable said that we haven't seen out of control yet because tonight, she is going to beat the hell out of Stephanie McMahon and embarrass her in a way she never thought possible. And as far as being the General Manager of Smackdown!, Sable has some stroke around here too.

Vince McMahon was shown backstage in the Smackdown! office and Stephanie showed up. Vince wanted to see her and he told her that even Vince McMahon smells the roses on occasion. Stephanie had an attitude and Vince told her to change the attitude, because it's been a rough week for the entire family. They both have matches tonight and they have to prepare. Most importantly, Linda's condition after Kane brutalized her. Stephanie asked Vince how he can talk about her condition after what he said on Smackdown!? Vince said that he's going to RAW this Monday night and he's going to confront Kane, that's what he's going to do. Meanwhile, he got her some flowers in an attempt to turn over a new leaf. Vince said that he didn't get her those flowers because they are for Sable, he got her some other ones, not as nice.

Stephanie McMahon's music hit in the arena and she made her way out to the ring for her one on one No Count Out Cat Fight against Sable. Sable did her posing in the aisle and Stephanie got out of the ring and ran after Sable and gave her a clothesline to the back to knock her down on the ramp.

Stephanie grabbed a steel chair and went to use it on Sable but the referee grabbed the chair out of her hand, stopping her from using it. Stephanie ripped Sable's top and the referee tried to help Sable get it back on but Stephanie bullied the referee. Brian Hebner gave Sable his shirt and A-Train came out and nailed Stephanie with a vicious clothesline and then Sable pinned her for the three count to get the win. Sable's music hit in the arena and she made her way out to the ring and said that she's not one to say I told you so, but this time she has to. She told everyone that she would beat the hell out of Stephanie McMahon at Vengeance. Now Stephanie had a lot to prove at Vengeance in their cat fight but the only thing she proved is that she is just a little pussy cat and that Sable is the dominant female on Smackdown!. Sable then showed everyone what it's like to cross paths with a wild cat and she showed the footage on the Titantron. Sable said that it does help to have friends in high places. Sable thanked Vince and said that she'll be seeing him later. Sable then introduced one half of the team hand picked by Mr. McMahon for tonight's main event, a man that has proven shivery is not dead; A-Train! 08/14/03 Thursday SmackDown!
Stephanie McMahon's music hits, she makes her way to the ring. She says that she learned a lesson at Vengeance, she learned that Vince would abuse his own daughter just so his Sable could defeat her. Vince say's he had his reasons for his actions. Steph says that Vince must have felt threatened by Steph's position of power, she says that Vince is a good businessman, but as a family man he's a piece of garbage. He's nothing!

Vince questions who Steph is for standing up to him, Vince says that he thought she would follow in his footsteps as GM, but he's disappointed. He then says that his worst investment was the day he married her mother. He then says that since she accuses him of physical abuse, Stephanie will face A-Train tonight!

Stephanie McMahon is shown backstage, she's cornered by A-Train. He tells her that her father paid him a lot of money for him to assault her at the last PPV, but A-Train would have done it for free. He then says how he knows that Steph likes it rough, and he'll deliver tonight!

Vince is in the ring, he says that the ring looks messy, but it will get messier tonight He then introduces special guest ring announcer, Sable! Stephanie is announced as the woman Sable beat at Vengeance, once Steph enters the ring, Sable says that there will be no count outs so Steph cant run and hide. Steph then attacks Sable taking her down to the ring. A-Train's music then hits.

Steph slaps A-train, not once but twice, Steph is then thrown by the hair to the ground. A-Train then hits an avalanche in the corner. He drags Steph's lifeless body by her arm, he looks over at Vince who signals a thumbs down. A-Train then picks up Steph positioning her for a backbreaker. Suddenly The Undertaker's music hits. A-Train meets him at the ramp, but Taker is in control. The Taker attacks A-Train with a steel chair. Right hands on the ground. But The Big Show comes down with a chair of his own, blasting The Taker.

A -Train heads back to the ring. He positions Steph for an A-train bomb, he connects, and gets the duke. After the match, Sable and Vince enter the ring to announce the winner, as they raise A-Train's arms in victory. Stephanie lays on the floor as Vince and Sable embrace, kissing in front of his daughter. Stephanie lays on the floor gasping for air.  [ProWrestling.com]

08/24/03 Summer Slam PPV
The Undertaker made his way out to the ring on his motorcycle for a one on one match with the A-Train, who was accompanied to the ring by Sable.

After the Undertaker won the match, he was about to give A-Train the Last Ride but Sable got in the ring and hit on the Undertaker. The Undertaker grabbed Sable by the throat and then he looked towards the entrance and Stephanie McMahon's music hit in the arena and she made her way out to the ring as the Smackdown! General Manager! Stephanie got right in the ring, spearing Sable down to the mat and then giving her a number of right hands. There is a rumor going around that Pete Gas, formerly of the Mean Street Posse, wants to return to WWE. He supposedly called Shane saying he was getting the itch to return to wrestling, but Shane basically declined. He said that Stephanie is totally in charge on the creative end, so it wasn't his call. Vince McMahon and Sable were shown with The Big Show and Vince was on the phone. Vince asked the person if we send pansies or roses to Zach Gowen? Pansies it is... make it three dozen. Vince commented on Big Show's suit and then Stephanie McMahon showed up. Vince asked her what brings her here? She's taking her job seriously, isn't she? Stephanie said that she is and she's doing excellent, how is Vince doing? Is he proud of himself after what he did to Zach last week? Vince said to wait a minute and Stephanie said that was disgusting. Vince ordered Zach Gowen to the arena or else he'd be fired, just to feed him to Brock Lesnar. Vince said that's what a lot of people think, but he's not capable of that. Brock went into business for himself and you know damn well he did. Stephanie said that she might not be as gullible as some other people that hang around, she's his daughter and she knows that he set up Brock Lesnar and unleashed the animal and told him to do that to Zach Gowen. She knows he doesn't care about Zach and that Brock is destroying everything in his path. Brock Lesnar deserves to be in jail and he's a liability to Smackdown! and business. Beside that, everything he does is downright criminal. Brock Lesnar showed up and he asked her what she was saying? Stephanie said you know Brock Lesnar, the guy who tapped out to Kurt Angle. Brock interrupted, saying that he's going to beat Kurt Angle next week in the Ironman match and that'll declare him the new three time WWE Champion. Vince told Brock that he understands this is his daughter he's talking to, doesn't he? Brock said yeah and he said that seeing as how much fun he had against Zach last week and the Ironman match is next week, he needs a match. Brock told Stephanie that he needs to fight tonight and he has a great idea; it really stacks the odds against Brock Lesnar. How about tonight he fights Kurt Angle, the Undertaker and Zach Gowen all in one match? Big Show said that Brock is too much and Stephanie told Brock that he knows damn well that none of them are here tonight because of what he did. Brock laughed, saying that she's right and then he said that means um... he still needs to wrestle tonight. He needs to fight somebody that's going to test him. Brock said that he and Big Show have history but he fought Vince in the cage and Sable remembers her match. Anyway, if he wrestled everybody in here that pretty much narrows it down to Stephanie. Brock laughed and Vince told Brock that he can't be serious. Brock said that he is and he said that it's a hell of a challenge. Vince said to think about the box office and the ratings; Brock Lesnar vs. Stephanie McMahon. That's money in the bank and Vince is liking the sound of that already but there is a way out. Well if Stephanie doesn't want to wrestle Brock, she can quit as General Manager. Brock said that she's got to wrestle and Big Show said that seems fair. Vince asked her if she wants to quit or wrestle Brock tonight? She has a decision to make! Stephanie looked like she started crying and then she walked off as Brock smiled at Vince, saying that she can't quit.

Stephanie McMahon was shown backstage thinking about what Vince put her into tonight and Sable showed up, saying tough decision. She either quits or faces Brock Lesnar. Sable said that if she were Stephanie, she wouldn't face Brock Lesnar because she would be mangled. Sable then told Stephanie that she fully supports her decision no matter what it is. And if she does quit, she's sure Vince will find someone who is capable of taking over her position as General Manager.

Vince McMahon's music hit in the arena and he made his way out to the ring and took the mic and introduced Brock Lesnar, a man who will once again be WWE Champion next week, ladies and gentlemen, Brock Lesnar! The fans heavily chanted "You tapped out" to piss off Brock and Vince told them to shut up because it's decision time for Stephanie McMahon. Is she going to quit her job as General Manager of Smackdown! tonight or is she going to walk down the aisle, get into the ring and face this animal one on one. Decision time, what's it going to be? Vince rambled on and Stephanie's music hit in the arena and she made her way out to the ring, dressed for competition.

Stephanie got in the ring and Vince asked her if she's actually going to go through with this? Stephanie said that she won't quit and Brock told her that she can't quit. Vince said that she knows the position she's putting him in and he doesn't like it one damn bit. Because she's walking out here and defying Vince. That's exactly what she's doing. She thinks that Vince won't leash this animal on her, that's what she thinks. She's calling Vince out as a father, that's exactly what she's doing. She thinks he won't turn this animal loose on her. Damnit, Brock Lesnar is going to break her in half and she deserves it. Stephanie slapped Vince and then Brock backed Stephanie into the corner and Stephanie gave him a low blow and then she tried to get out of the ring. Vince pulled her back but she gave him a low blow as well. Stephanie started to leave but Brock grabbed her by the throat, saying that she didn't just do that, did she? Brock then slammed Stephanie into the barricade and the fans heavily chanted "You tapped out!" Brock then laid down next to Stephanie and pointed to the stairs, saying that he's going to knock her right out. Brock then got up and grabbed the steel steps and picked them up and went after Stephanie and tossed them at her but she moved and the steps hit the ring post. Brock then stalked Stephanie as she ran to the backstage area. Brock ran right after her as Vince remained in the ring, holding his groin.

Moments later, Brock Lesnar returned with Stephanie on his shoulders and then he went to give her the F5 into the ring post but Kurt Angle stormed to the ringside area and whaled away on Brock Lesnar. Vince nailed Kurt from behind and Kurt sent him down to the floor and then Brock went for the F5 on Kurt into the ring post but Kurt got out of it and shoved Brock into the steel ring post. Kurt then grabbed the steel steps and tossed them at Brock and Vince as they fled away from the ringside area. Next week, it's Kurt Angle vs. Brock Lesnar for the Title in an Ironman match! The show went off the air with the fans chanting "USA, USA!" [PowerWrestling.com]

Stephanie was shown backstage and she was talking to someone on the phone. She said that tonight, the first time on TV is the Ironman match. Vince, Big Show and Sable entered the room and Vince said that he was surprised at her decision last week and Stephanie said that he can't make her quit. Big Show grabbed her and then Vince told him to unhand her. Vince said that he can make her quit and that's what he's going to do. Stephanie told Vince to fire her and get it over with. Vince said that he does what he wants to do when he wants to. He wants her to quit. Stephanie said she's not going to and Vince said that if she's going to start playing rough and kick her in the groin, then he's going to start playing rough and one day, she's going to beg him to quit. Triple H's much-talked about bachelor party took place last Tuesday with nothing really newsworthy coming out of it. No word on who was there, or perhaps more importantly, who wasn't. Chris Jericho had been excused to spend time with his wife, who is giving birth soon. The only details that are known about the party is that the group went to a strip club. ----- With HHH's bachelor party scheduled for this Tuesday after SmackDown!, all male wrestlers and personnel from both rosters have been asked to attend. And, while some are feeling great about going, many are not too pleased.

One feeling going around is that this situation is like "the rich kid in the neighborhood that nobody really likes, but their parents make their kids go to the kid's party so the rich parents still like them." Vince and Sable were shown and Vince was telling her what he thinks of her and he decided that he wanted a taste so they started kissing. A production guy entered the room because Vince wanted to see him, but that was 20 minutes ago. Vince asked the guy what's the matter with him? He's got bad timing. Vince wanted to see him because he wanted to let him and everyone else know that the red carpet will be rolled back out and the Championship belt will be back in the case because one way or another, he will present the WWE Title to Brock Lesnar. Vince then sent the guy on his way and he and Sable went back to what they were doing. Sable told him that before this night is over, she will personally present him with her.

Vince McMahon and Sable went out to the ring for the presentation for the WWE Championship to end the evening. Vince demanded that everyone stand on their feet, put their hands together and pay the proper respect for the new WWE Champion, ladies and gentlemen, Brock Lesnar! Brock Lesnar then made his way out to the ring and he stood on the ropes, expecting praise from the fans in the arena. The fans booed Brock Lesnar at the mention of his name and Vince said that he's the new face of the WWE, the face of Smackdown!. Vince knows that he speaks for the fans here in this arena, he knows that he speaks for Smackdown! fans all over the world when he says to Brock; congratulations Champ.

The Undertaker's music hit in the arena and he made his way out to the ring on the motorcycle. Taker had some advice for Brock; take the belt, enjoy it, hang onto it real tight and sleep with it because his first title defense is against the Undertaker! He's going to say this real slow so Brock can understand; he's got a date with the Deadman. Vince interjected, saying he doesn't know when he comes out here and starts making his own matches. On who's authority is he going to come out here and make a match with Brock Lesnar? Stephanie McMahon's music hit and she made her way out to the ring as the General Manager of Smackdown!. Stephanie got in the ring and said "On my authority, dad." Vince said that's not going to happen because she's going to have her own authority ascended. He's going to give her an opportunity to change her mind because if she doesn't change her mind then she too will be in a match at No Mercy. If she doesn't change her mind, she'll be in the first ever father/daughter match in history! Vince told Stephanie to go change her mind and quit. Stephanie said that she's not changing her mind. Vince said that if she doesn't change her mind then at No Mercy, she's going to be in the ring with Vince and she's going to quit one way or another because it'll be an I Quit Match. He hates to do that but she's become a disrespectful little bitch.

Brock Lesnar then nailed the Undertaker with the Championship belt and Stephanie slid out of the ring. The Undertaker eventually fought back and planted Brock Lesnar with a choke slam as Stephanie cheered him on.  [PowerWrestling.com]

Vince McMahon's music hit in the arena and he made his way out to the ring with Sable, arm in arm and after last week's announcement of the "I Quit Match" against his daughter, you have to wonder what he has to say tonight on Smackdown!. Vince said that tonight, he's going to offer someone a second chance. Come on, we all know you need second chances because of all the mistakes that people make day in and day out like his daughter Stephanie McMahon when as the General Manager of Smackdown!, she insisted that Brock Lesnar defend the WWE Title against the Undertaker at No Mercy. Vince suggested she ascends that match because if she didn't, there would be another match and that would be the first ever father/daughter I Quit Match. So therefore, he's given his daughter a whole week to think about her decision, hoping that cooler heads would prevail. And he's hoping that she comes out here in just a few moments, resends that match and hoping that she does the right thing for herself and respectfully resigns as the General Manager of Smackdown!. Vince said maybe he said that too politely; he's going to ask her to come out here and quit.  The fans know a lot about quitting because each and every one of them quit everyday. They're all quitters! So don't begrudge Stephanie when she quits. So with that in mind, we anxiously await Stephanie's decision. Stephanie McMahon's music hit in the arena and she made her way out to the ring as the General Manager of Smackdown!.

Stephanie took the mic, saying that she appreciates the time that he gave her to think about her decision but her answer quite simply is no. She will not change the WWE Championship match at No Mercy and she will not quit, not now, not ever. Vince said yes she will. She'll quit. If not tonight, she'll quit at No Mercy when everyone within an ear shot of the arena will hear from her lips: "I quit, I quit." But now, there's an extra stipulation. Not only when she yells I quit at No Mercy, she'll be quitting her job as General Manager of Smackdown!. Vince said that he still thinks she doesn't realize what she's doing. He really doesn't. So he doesn't think she realizes what she's doing by making him beat his own daughter. Stephanie said that she's not making him do anything, they can take back this match. Vince said she did because she's defying him and he won't have anybody defy him. Vince said that he doesn't get it. He remembers when he held her as an infant, tenderly as a child. He remembers her growing up and he remembers her first bicycle ride, her dances, graduations and everything and now she's throwing it all away because now she wants him to take Daddy's Little Girl, crush it in his hand, throw it on the mat and leave it a bloody pulp! That's what she's making him do and he doesn't know if he's capable of it, but why would she do this to him? Why would she do this to him? Does she have any idea how this is going to effect him? Then by God, he says this; at No Mercy, he will strike down the face of defiance! Sable told Vince not to be so hard on himself; when he steps into the ring with Stephanie McMahon at No Mercy, don't think of her as his daughter, think of her for what she is. What did he call her last week? She remembers; it was a disrespectful little bitch! Stephanie got in Sable's face, telling her that this is a conversation between she and her father so why doesn't she go do what she does best, go back into the men's locker room and lay flat on her back! Sable slapped Stephanie and Stephanie speared Sable down to the mat and started beating the crap out of her until Vince pulled her off. Vince grabbed Stephanie by the hair and yelled at her. Vince then gave Stephanie McMahon a body slam in the center of the ring and then hovered over her. Vince once again grabbed her by the hair and pulled her up off the mat and the Undertaker hit the ring and stood over Vince McMahon.

After Stephanie crawled away, the Undertaker laid Vince McMahon out with a right hand and then he picked him up and went for the choke slam but Brock Lesnar stormed to the ring only to get knocked out of the ring with a big boot. Brock Lesnar, Sable and Vince McMahon quickly fled from the ring to avoid the wrath of the Undertaker.  [PowerWrestling.com]

Rumor has it that Stephanie McMahon herself was personally responsible for telling writers to cut the "Stevie Night Heat" angle from Sunday Night Heat. She ad no idea that the angle had been going on for awhile and wanted it pulled immediately, thus lowering the morale of the wrestler who regularly appear on Heat. The wrestlers themselves are upset to find out that one of the decision-makers within the company is not a regular viewer of the program.

Also, Stephanie is expected to take some time off to attend to personal issues after the No Mercy PPV. It is expected that she will probably do the job to her father in their upcoming match, even though it is only speculation. [Delon Sykes, WrestleHolics.com]

The show opened up with footage from last week's edition of Smackdown! when Vince McMahon went to the ring with Sable and he talked more about Stephanie quitting. Of course, since she won't quit as the General Manager, she'll be forced into a one on one match against her very own father in an I Quit Match and if Stephanie quits in that match, she'll be quitting as the General Manager of Smackdown!.  The fireworks went off in the arena for the start of Smackdown! and Michael Cole and Tazz kicked it off on commentary and we are just ten days away from No Mercy on pay per view! Linda McMahon's Wrestlemania music hit in the arena and she made her way out to the ring as the CEO of World Wrestling Entertainment!

Linda got in the ring and took the mic and said that things have always been pretty bizarre with the McMahon Family. Just when she thought it couldn't get any more bizarre, she's watching this past Monday night and couldn't believe her eyes to see what Shane has done to Kane. And then last week on Smackdown!, she sees her husband, pick up their daughter and body slam her in this ring! And now, there's an I Quit Match between her husband and her daughter at No Mercy? Linda knows and has tried to talk some sense into Vince and she knows she can't do that, but she's hoping she can talk some sense into Stephanie.

Stephanie's music hit and she made her way out to the ring and said that she appreciates Linda coming out here and she knows why she's here. Stephanie didn't know her father was going to go through with this match but after what he did last week, she knows she can't back down. She's not going to let Vince win, not like this. And Stephanie doesn't care what he does to her at No Mercy, she will ... Vince McMahon's music hit in the arena and he made his way out to the ring with the Vince McMahon stagger intact.

Vince took the mic and said what do we have here? We have his daughter Stephanie and surprise, surprise, his charming wife Linda. What is she doing here? Meddling in his business again, trying to talk Stephanie out of this match. Stephanie had her chance to get out of this match lat week. He gave her a second chance. But now Vince wouldn't let her out of this match if she got on her knees and begged him. No, because at No Mercy, she's forcing him into doing something he really doesn't want to do. Vince is a loving father and he doesn't want to have to do to her what she's making him do. But she's gonna make him brutalize her, that's what she's gonna do. She's forcing him to brutalize her and when it happens, he's going to have a clear conscience.

Vince can't explain this, but when it happens, his soul will be cleansed. He's going to feel good about it because she's forcing him to do it just like her mother forced him to sire a second child years ago. Linda took the mic and said that Vince is twice her size and twice her strength but putting that aside, don't you think this match is a little bit unfair? If Stephanie loses and says "I quit," she resigns as the General Manager of Smackdown!. But what is Vince putting on the line if she should win? Vince said that he's the chairman of this company and he doesn't have to give up a damn thing. Linda asked Vince if he's afraid his daughter just might beat him? Vince said that he's not afraid of the big bad wolf, much less than his daughter beating him at No Mercy. But what he'll do is... just as Linda quit on their marriage years ago, he'll do this; if Stephanie wins the match at No Mercy, he'll resign as the chairman of the board.

Sable's music then hit in the arena and she made her way out to the ring. Vince told Sable that she looks fine tonight and he said that he doesn't think he's seen her anymore voluptuous. Vince continued on and then introduced Sable to his wife. Sable said "hi" to Linda and then she told her that she doesn't know if Linda realizes this or not, but behind every great man and oh yeah he is a great man is a great woman. And that is why Sable is offering her services in Mr. McMahon's corner at No Mercy. Linda said that doesn't really surprise her because the way she hears it, Sable offers her services very freely to anyone. Sable then kicked Linda McMahon in the mid section and then Stephanie speared Sable down to the mat and started hammering away on her. Vince grabbed Stephanie and flung her across the ring and then Stephanie got up and charged at Vince but Vince laid her out with a clothesline. Linda then got down on the mat and attended to Stephanie as she was down and Vince yelled "she made me do that!" - Referring to his own daughter, Stephanie McMahon.

Later on backstage, Josh Matthews caught up with Stephanie and asked her how she and her mother is doing? Stephanie said that they're fine but if Sable wants to be in Vince's corner at No Mercy, then her mother is going to be in hers.  [PowerWrestling.com]

Smackdown! opened up with footage from earlier today when Stephanie McMahon was interviewed. Apparently, Stephanie was banned from the arena but tonight, we'll be able to see the full interview that was conducted earlier today with the General Manager of Smackdown! on what could be her last night as General Manager.

Later in the evening we were shown video from earlier today, as Michael Cole sat down with a very emotional Stephanie McMahon. Normally, she would be at Smackdown! but Vince has banned her from the building. Thoughts? Stephanie said that she thinks it's pretty petty that her father would ban her from the arena on what could be her last night as General Manager. Hopefully that's not the case and Vince wanted to take all the opportunity away from her in terms of thanking the fans and superstars for supporting her. Hopefully it's not her last night.

At No Mercy, for the first time ever, a father is going to step into the ring with his daughter. In not just a normal match, but an I Quit Match. Is the McMahon Family normal? Stephanie said you have to ask? That's hard for her to say because she only knows how she grew up. She grew up with her dad being her dad and her mom being her mom. But they did air their dirty laundry in the public. Stephanie has grown up in this business and she loves it and she loves what she does. She's wanted to be a part of this business to be closer to her family. It's the business that her family created and it either ends for her or it ends for her dad. And she just doesn't know what the better outcome would be.

Michael Cole asked Stephanie what she would do if she had to leave this all behind? Stephanie paused and then said "I don't know." Cole said that wouldn't it be better off without Mr. McMahon at the helm of this multi billion dollar company? Stephanie said it's hard to say. Some could argue that this business is her father. She doesn't know what it would be like without him. Cole asked about the rest of her family, for instance her mother who has been dragged into this and she will be there this Sunday supporting her. How is Linda handling everything that's going on with her and her dad? Stephanie said her mom has just been the best mom. She's there always for them and always with open arms. Some things she does, she doesn't agree with, but here she is standing up for Stephanie in her corner for what she thinks is right, standing up against her father. Stephanie just hates the fact that her father has put her in all these situations. All through the years, flaunting relationships in her face. She can't imagine that that must feel like to Linda.

Cole brought up Stephanie's relationship with her father. Many say that she's spoiled and has been handed her job. What does she say to them? Has her dad given her everything? Stephanie said you can't change perception and people are going to think what they want to think. Has she been spoiled? Stephanie said she probably has. When she was a little girl, if she wanted something, she would get it and not a lot of people can relate to that. As far as her job being handed to her, she doesn't know if she'd agree with that because her father would tolerate nothing less than hard work and results. In that regard, she thinks she's earned her position.

Cole said that he can see Vince McMahon in Stephanie. She can be a ruthless businesswoman. Is there some of Mr. McMahon in Stephanie? Stephanie said without question, he's her dad. And she's proud of who she is, but she doesn't want to be the same as him in terms of the negative aspects. She's strong like he is, but she doesn't want to be known he same way he is. She doesn't want to be feared, she wants to be respected and that's something she has to earn.

Michael asked her if she ever thought it would come to this? That it would be her and her father in this type of match? Cole said on the air at one point that this is insanity. This is a father and a daughter. Stephanie started to break up in tears and she said she never really did think it was going to come to this. But she and her dad have always had a wonderful relationship. They didn't always see eye to eye and they've argued and put each other to the test but she never thought in her wildest dreams that her father would ever put his hands on her. And when he slammed her and pulled her by her hair and clotheslined her, she just never would have thought he would have done anything like that. As far as their relationship goes, if her dad thinks they'll ever have any kind of relationship after this match again, then he's dead wrong. If she ever gets married again, her dad won't walk her down the aisle. If hopefully she's blessed with a baby, he won't earn the right to see his grandchild. She won't let her baby be around a man like that.

Cole asked one final question. With everything that's happened and everything she just talked about, does she still love her father? Stephanie paused and said in tears, "Yes, I do. He's my dad. But do I like him? No. I love him and I hate him."

A few minutes later, Vince took the mic and said that he couldn't help but observe his daughter's performance. Make no mistake about it, that was a performance. As a matter a fact, his daughter Stephanie gave us an academy award winning performance. It seems as though she's a bit confused on the one hand. It seems as though she hates him and when she says that, she was telling the God's honest truth. She hates him. And when she says she loves him, she's lying through her teeth because his daughter stopped loving him a long time ago. Stephanie doesn't know what love is about, she doesn't. Vince understands what love is about and he understands the meaning of true love. Because quite frankly, if you love someone enough and care enough for someone, you will hurt them. You heard him right, if you truly care for someone, you will hurt them and you will hurt them badly and that's exactly what he's going to do to his daughter this Sunday. He's going to hurt her badly. There's an old expression that comes to mind about now; spare the rod and spoil the child. He can assure us at No Mercy, he will not spare the rod. Yet he knows there are any number of you here tonight who are hoping for some sort of miracle for the outcome of this match. Some of you are hoping and maybe even praying that in some way, Stephanie will defeat her father. For those of you who would hope, wish and pray for that, you're the same kind of people that dream about being millionaires but are too damn lazy to get there and are counting on the lottery. The difference between Vince and them is that Vince is a billionaire. And he's not waiting for some lottery to come along, he reached out and took what was his. Quite frankly, that lottery is a good analogy because Stephanie has as good a chance of beating Vince at No Mercy as anyone in the world has of winning the lottery. And he's sure he's had people ask him on the street; Mr. McMahon, what are you capable of doing to your daughter Stephanie in this match? He's asked himself that very same question and he shudders to think of the physical abuse he'll inflict on his own flesh and blood. And as we approach this moment of no return and this Sunday and the very first ever father/daughter I Quit Match in the history of this entire industry, Vince McMahon leaves his daughter with these parting words; may God have mercy on your soul because I won't! Sable then took the mic and said that she's very honored to be in Vince's corner, unlike his wife Linda who will be in his daughter's corner. The expression goes; stand beside your man, not against him. And she is very proud to stand by Vince McMahon. Not only will Stephanie lose this match, but she dares say that Linda is going to lose her man. Linda forgot what it takes to satisfy a genuine American Icon. And yes, Sable knows Linda is going to be looking at her with those jealous eyes of her and you know what she's going to see? A woman who's sexier and more voluptuous than Linda is. And oh yes, Linda is going to be looking at a woman who can satisfy every sexual craving Mr. McMahon has. So in other words, Linda can kiss her man goodbye, just like this. It seems that the Vince McMahon vs. Stephanie McMahon "I Quit" match at WWE No Mercy this Sunday (live from Baltimore, Maryland) may entail some legal stipulations with the state of Maryland. The Maryland State Athletic Commission has contacted the WWE and informed them that if they have a match on their PPV where a man would wrestle a woman, they would exercise their right to issue a fine of $2,000. Apparently though, this fine doesn't worry the WWE, as they basically told the Commission that they weren't planning on changing the match and that they'll have a check ready for them. ----- The "Father/Daughter 'I Quit'" match scheduled to take place this Sunday at No Mercy in Baltimore, Maryland, has problems. In addition to some people's view of it as a ridiculous attempt at gaining buys and others' view of it as tasteless, there is another, perhaps more serious, problem.

The match is illegal. The Maryland State Athletic Commission has laws prohibiting certain kinds of matches from taking place. Male vs. Female is one of them.
The MSAC has reportedly informed WWE if the match takes place, a $2,000 fine will be charged. WWE has supposedly told the MSAC it will pay the $2,000 fine and will go through with the match. [PowerWrestling.com]

10/19/03 Sunday Heat
Sable was shown in the backstage area and she welcomed everyone to a special edition of Sunday Night Heat with her, Sable. By special order of Mr. McMahon, Smackdown! is taking over Heat for the evening. Mr. McMahon is here counting down the minutes until he faces his own daughter in an I Quit Match. Sable said that if Linda gets into her way, not only is she going to see that this Diva is beautiful, but she likes to play rough. Sable wondered to herself, who will Mr. McMahon appoint as the new General Manager?  [PowerWrestling.com]

10/19/03 No Mercy PPV
The show opened up with footage, hyping up the match between Vince and Stephanie McMahon in the first ever father/daughter I Quit Match. If Stephanie loses the match, she's out as the General Manager of Smackdown!. If Vince loses, he'll be forced to step down as the Chairman of the WWE.

Vince McMahon was shown backstage and Josh Matthews caught up with him and asked him how he's feeling about his match tonight? Vince said he's obviously not quite as nervous as Josh is holding that microphone. How is he feeling, what a stupid question to ask him. Doesn't he realize how deeply this hurts him to have to do this tonight. Doesn't he realize how personal this is? This is personal, yet at the same time it's business. You might say it's personal business and there's a number of individuals rooting against him, including Superstars on the roster. Vince then said that if anyone interferes in the match tonight, they will not be employed. Not just here, but for anybody ever again. He'll see to it. Vince then asked Josh what he wants to say now? He wants to say "thank you very much." Vince demanded that he say it and Josh uttered the words "thank you very much, Mr. McMahon."

Later, Vince McMahon was again shown in the backstage area and Linda showed up. Vince said that if it isn't his charming wife, Linda coming into his locker room to see him dressed or undressed? Linda begged Vince not to go through with this tonight. She knows he loves Stephanie. In the past, Linda turned her head but tonight, Vince is doing something that he cannot come back from. Linda then asked Vince to reconsider. Vince said that he anticipated Linda coming in here and he knows what she's all about. She's all about an advantage and a concession. Vince is going to go through this match, but he's going to give her concession. Vince can only win this match by submission but Stephanie can also win by pinfall or submission. Vince said that he needs something back. Since Stephanie insists on going through with this match, this match now is No Holds Barred. Linda got angry and left the room. Vince asked the question; 'What, was it something I said?'

And now it's time for the first ever father vs. daughter No Holds Barred I Quit Match. As said by Vince McMahon earlier tonight, Stephanie can now win this match by pinfall or submission but Vince must force Stephanie to tap out. Again, there will be no holds barred in this match and if Stephanie loses, she'll have to step down as the General Manager of Smackdown!. If Vince McMahon loses, he's out of a job as the Chairman of the WWE. Linda McMahon accompanied Stephanie out to the ring and Linda will be in Stephanie's corner as Sable will be in Vince's corner.

Linda pleaded with Vince not to have this match but Stephanie pulled Linda back. Vince started the match off by giving Stephanie a clubbing blow to the back to knock her down. Stephanie jumped on Vince's back and choked away on him but Vince pulled Stephanie down to send her down to the mat. Vince choked Stephanie over the second rope and then Sable slapped her across the face. Linda went after Sable but Vince got in between them to stop Linda from getting at Sable.

Linda slapped Vince across the face and then Stephanie gave him a low blow and a roll up for a two count. Stephanie grabbed a lead pipe and held it up and got ready to hit Vince with it and she waited until Vince charged at her. Stephanie then nailed Vince in the gut, the back and the face with the lead pipe. Stephanie then went to the second rope and came off with a shot to the head and then she pinned Vince but Vince got his foot on the rope.

Sable got on the ring apron and the referee went towards her and yelled at her. Vince then grabbed Stephanie from behind but Stephanie shoved Vince into Sable to knock her down and then Steph gave Vince a bulldog and a pin for a two count. Stephanie then grabbed the lead pipe again and got ready to hit Vince with it but Vince grabbed her by the throat and shoved her into the mat. Vince then nailed Stephanie in the mid section with the pipe and then he choked Stephanie with the pipe.

As Vince choked Stephanie, Linda threw in the towel to end the match. As Linda attended to Stephanie, Vince grabbed Linda by the face and then shoved her down to the mat. Vince then got out of the ring and left with Sable. EMTs and officials came out to the ring to attend to Linda and Stephanie after Vince and Sable left the ring. WebMaster's Note: You'll notice that even though the rules were changed somewhat, Stephanie never did say "I Give" or tap out which means technically she didn't lose being the GM of Smackdown!  Look for this loophole to show up later.  It  was already rumored that she would take some time after No Mercy (her wedding to Triple H is scheduled for October 25th), and then I would expect her to return and take back control of SmackDown!

10/23/03 Thursday SmackDown!
WWE Smackdown! opened up with clips of Vince McMahon vs. Stephanie McMahon from No Mercy. In that match, Vince McMahon defeated his own daughter Stephanie McMahon after Linda McMahon threw in the towel while Vince was choking Stephanie out with a lead pipe. With the result of this match, there will be a new General Manager of Smackdown! announced, tonight!

Vince McMahon's music hit in the arena and he made his way out to the ring, arm in arm with Sable! Vince took the mic and said "Look here, it's me, Vince McMahon." Vince pointed out that he's still the chairman of the board and he's proud to stand here next to Sable and say to each and every one of you that he beat the snot right out of his very own daughter, Stephanie McMahon. Vince said that nothing bothers him, not even the fans booing him. He knows where he's going when he croaks, but he's not dead, he's very much alive and we're celebrating tonight. As a matter a fact, maybe even like Vince celebrated after No Mercy when he beat his daughter and shoved his wife down on the mat. He celebrated like the rest of you hen pecked husbands and boyfriends who do exactly like you're told. You know how he celebrated after No Mercy? You heard the expression, spare the rod, spoil the child? He didn't spoil the child and he didn't spare the rod. As a matter a fact, he used it all night long. Quite frankly, he accomplished the two things he wanted to accomplish. One, Stephanie McMahon unemployed and the second thing is that Brock Lesnar remains your WWE Champion.

Vince said that he's on fire, but despite the celebration, they need to get down to business. He thought long and hard as to who should be the next General Manager on Smackdown!. No, that's not Sable's job, but the person he's about to name as the new General Manager is a person that tried to put him out of business. Ladies and gentlemen, here is your new General Manager of Smackdown!... Paul Heyman! Paul Heyman then made his way out to the ring as the new General Manager of Smackdown!. ----- As reported, Triple H worked house shows last weekend. He was also scheduled for RAW, but it’s a one-shot deal. He and Stephanie will be getting married tomorrow and are expected to have a two-week honeymoon. The Wedding party for Stephanie McMahon and Paul Levesque (Triple H) consisted of William Regal, Kevin Nash, Shawn Michaels, Ric Flair, Undertaker, Paul’s brother in law, Marissa McMahon (who is due to have her first baby in February), Taker’s wife Sara and some long time friends of Stephanie's.

Some of the people who attended were: Shane McMahon, Vince's brother Rod, Chris Benoit & Nancy(Woman)Benoit, Stone Cold and companion, Killer Kowalski and companion, Paul Heyman, Sgt. Slaughter, Tazz, Michael Cole and wife, Michael Hayes and wife Lori, The Prichard’s, Jim Ross & Wife, Mike Chioda with girlfriend, Harvey Whippleman, Big Show & wife Bess, Fatu, Earl & Dave Hebner, Booker T, Fabulous Moolah, Mae Young, Steve Lombardi, Miyako Blassie, Eddie Guerrero, Edge, Arnie Skaaland & wife Betty, Mick Foley, Tim White, Howard Finkel & his wife, Arn Anderson and Bradshaw. As it has been reported, Triple H and Stephanie McMahon were married on 10/25 at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church in Sleepy Hollow, NY. We now have more details from the ceremony. Before a well dressed, classy crowed of about 90 percent wrestlers and company employees Stephanie and Paul Levesque exchanged vows and were married in holy matrimony. Stephanie wore an ivory gown with a fitted bodice and moderate train. Triple H wore a traditional, simple black tuxedo.

Mick Foley, who also attended the wedding, was quoted in the Westchester Times as saying that the wedding was “excellent” and better then his own. Reporters were not allowed in during the wedding but were out side waiting.

The big reception was held at the Dolce Tarrytown House and also had no reporters present. The hotel was blocked off, so any one with out an invitation was not allowed in. The WWE camera crew was there probably filming for a future piece on Confidential or a soon to be released DVD.

Triple H’s dad, who was also his best man made a nice toast, wishing the couple a long life of love and kids. Many were said to be caught off guard since he was speaking from the heart and rather nicely about Hunter, of course, which they aren’t used to hearing.

Vince McMahon also made a speech. Later, Michael Hayes made a complete jackass of himself. He got on the mic and started singing his own rendition of “Jailhouse Rock”. He tried to get on the stage again, but then the band, who was really annoyed already, stopped playing music. So Hayes decided to make his own little speech. “Steph and Hunter,” he said. “I mean Steph and Paul…” Then he just started swearing on stage trying to be funny, but Linda McMahon walked up on stage and took the mic saying “Thank you, Michael.” As his wife took him upstairs, Hayes kept yelling, “A Freebird is a Freebird!” This left people feeling bad and many thought the whole thing was ruined, but everyone went on with the party.

Among the many wrestlers in attendance were Shane McMahon, Shawn Michaels, Kevin Nash and Mark “Undertaker” Calaway. Sean Waltman (X-Pac) did not attend. Stephanie’s wedding company included sister-in-law Marissa and Mark’s wife Sara among non-wrestling friends. [Henry, RajahWWF.com]

As you have probably read, Heyman told talent when they came to him with complaints about their direction of their character to submit five ideas for their characters to management each week and if they didn’t use the ideas, submit five more until something clicked. Heyman went on to re-assure talent by saying if someone as far “out” as him could have creative input, anyone could. Now that Stephanie McMahon is back, it will be interesting to see if WWE leaves Heyman as the GM for the brand or will give Stephanie her position back so the product is completely McMahon filled once again. Many hope that Heyman will at least get more creative input, as the SmackDown ratings have actually rose since Stephanie was removed from the General Manager position. [Richard, RajahWWF.com]

World Wrestling Entertainment have hired two storyline consultants to examine the product. These consultants have no wrestling background, and are strictly there to monitor the shows entertainment value. These consultants have been bought in from Hollywood, and were at last weeks shows, to take everything in. These consultants will then report back to Vince McMahon and Stephanie McMahon regarding their thoughts for improvement on the shows. [PowerWrestling.com]

There were several storylines considered for the SmackDown General Manager role, which included Stephanie McMahon returning to television this week. However, as it currently stands, they are keeping Paul Heyman as the lone GM of the brand and leaving Stephanie off of television indefinitely.

Stephanie McMahon was on this morning's edition of "The Wayne Brady Show", and I just happened to catch it. She said that she'll be back soon on WWE TV, now that her marriage with HHH is complete. Stephanie put HHH over as a genuine guy, who is a loving husband, and a great person all together. Stephanie also described how Vince McMahon didn't like her and HHH dating at first. She said that a lot of people were saying Triple H was champion because he was dating the boss' daugther, so Vince wanted them to stop dating.
