Sunny (Tammy Lynn Sytch) was definitely the "Femme Fatale" of the WWF wrestling world from 1994 through 1998. She was pretty much the first 'sex-kitten' (before Sable & Marlena) and she played that portion of her character to the hilt. But the 'saucy & sexy' lady had more on the ball than just being a sexual 'teaser' with good looks. In late 1994, Sytch was contracted by the WWF, and she began appearing as Tamara Murphy, a commentator for "Live Event News" segments during syndicated WWF television shows. One month later, Chris Candido (her high school sweetheart and long time boyfriend, who later died in 2005) joined the WWF, and the duo began appearing as Sunny and Skip, known collectively as the villainous fitness fanatics "The Bodydonnas". Zip later joined the team, and Sunny was in their corner when they won the Tag Team Championship over The Godwinns at WrestleMania XII. In 1996, she won Pro Wrestling Illustrated's Manager of the Year Award. She was also AOL's most downloaded woman of that year. Weeks later, The Godwinns regained the championship, and Sunny turned on The Bodydonnas in favor of the new champions. She then turned on The Godwinns and helped The Smoking Gunns win the Tag Team Championship. After The Smokin' Gunns lost the title, she fired them in the middle of the ring. Candido left the WWF for Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW), and it was not long before she began making guest appearances with him in the promotion. In August 1997, she appeared at ECW's Hardcore Heaven pay-per-view.
During her 4 years in the WWF she had managed several top wrestlers which included an Intercontinental Champion as well as leading 2 different Tag Team's to championship belts. Her rounds had included Chris Candido, The Bodydonna's, The Smokin' Guns, and Farooq Asad (Ron Simmons). Even with that success behind her she still seemed to always be looking for that next hunk/team that would make for a suitable new challenge, so that she could take them to the top and garner another championship belt. At one point she even had her eye on 'The Rock' when he was still a newcomer (Rocky Mavia) to the WWF and in between things managed to find the time to begin a feud with Marlena/Terri Runnels that unfortunately didn't last long enough for fans. In 1998, Sunny briefly became the manager for
the reformed Road Warriors as "Legion of Doom 2000", leading them to a win
in a Tag Team Championship #1 Contender Battle Royal at WrestleMania XIV.
Around the same time it was rumored
It's interesting that after Tammy was dismissed that she had nothing but negative, nasty, and petty remarks to make about the organization, wrestlers, and other women that she at one time worked closely with. Time after time in interviews she took the opportunity to belittle everyone that had to do with the WWF. It really did sound like a women who was jealous and vindictive and it did not become someone who was supposed to be a professional. After several months she appeared in the ECW and it seemed like she was back in stride as a valet to her fiancée - wrestler Chris Candido. But soon things started turning for the worse once again as she began fighting personal problems in her life.
