TAMMY LYNN SYTCH

01/07/00 Internet Rumor
Showdown.Net's Brian Brady released very interesting Tammy Lynn Sytch news in this week's "Brady Report". It looks like her signing with WCW is not so doubtful anymore, as she did [confirmed] meet with WCW officials, but no lucrative contract was made to the blonde bombshell. WCW will have to approach this potential signing very cautiously to make sure Tammy is 100% drug-free, and doesn't pull any usual antics. [Mikey G.]

01/14/00 Internet Rumor
Has Missy Hyatt retired? The other night, in an XPW [X-treme Pro Wrestling] show, she broke the news that she was "retiring" from wrestling. After the announcement, she was more than surprised to see Tammy Lynn Sytch hit the ring, and the two began a cat fight almost instantly. XPW commish Lizzy Borden then handed Hyatt her pink slip so she can "leave wrestling". [But in all actuality, we all know it was just an angle to set up her debut in the WWF, which should come in the upcoming weeks.] [Mikey G.]

01/29/00 XPW Abuse Of Power
Chris Candido and Tammy Lynn Sytch made their debut in the XPW (Xtreme Pro Wrestling - California) accompanied by Jasmine St. Claire.  After Chris' win Jasmine apparently went to give him a hug which infuriated Tammy so she decked her.

02/15/00 Internet Rumor
Jason Powell and Wade Keller reports that Chris Candido and Tammy Sytch have come to terms with WCW and are slated to debut next week. Candido and Sytch will be backstage at Nitro on Monday, but may not debut on TV until Thunder the next day. Contracts have not been signed yet, so there is a chance the deal could fall apart, but sources indicate the two sides have agreed to ballpark terms on money and finalizing a deal is considered virtually a lock sometime next week. [Justin Winslow]

02/25/00 Internet Rumors
After recently returning to Extreme Championship Wrestling because of a slew of personal problems, it appeared that Tammy Lynn Sytch and Chris Candido were searching for other options as far as their jobs went.

Reports circulated everywhere that the duo was looking for a gig down south in World Championship Wrestling. Negotiations went on between the two parties, however nothing seemed to solidify. Dave Meltzer is even reporting that Candido and Sytch showed up at the February 14, 2000 Monday Nitro, but were denied access because neither could produce proof that they are no longer under contract to ECW.

Now, Candido and Sytch are reconsidering their placement within ECW. The pair, who are still under long-term contract, seem to want to continue their relationship with the Philadelphia-based company regardless of past problems. [Mitch Newton]

Currently, to avoid legal threats from ECW, WCW's decided to put off their negotiations with Chris Candido and Tammy Lynn until a confirmation of their unemployment is given. Upon entering WCW, if that at all happens, you'll most likely see Tammy Lynn side up to Ric Flair while Chris is already being looked at to start up a feud with Billy Kidman. If both are used right, they could be big players in WCW's future. [Mikey G.]

The Torch said that if Chris Candido and Tammy Lynn Sytch come to WCW, which is almost a given now that they have been released by ECW, Candido's first feud will be with Kidman. [Robert Pasbani]

03/08/00 Internet Rumors
WCW has lost all interest in Chris Candido and Tammy Sytch. Apparently Paul Heyman put a clause in the release he gave them that they are obligated to appear on one ECW PPV show per year. WCW had no interest in putting people on TV and then have Heyman have the right to use them, and use them to put over his own talent.  [Justin Winslow]

03/17/00 Internet Rumors
What's a week without some Candido and Sytch news? Though it was rumored that WCW gave up on the two after learning that Paul Heyman had the right to make them appear on one ECW Pay Per View this year, it appears that WCW has bought out their contracts. There's been no conformation yet, and ECW could have just let them out of their contracts. With either scenario, Candido and Sytch could appear on the March 13th Monday Nitro. [Zach Weinberg]

03/19/00 Uncensored PPV
Well it looks like some type of deal was struck between Chris Candido and the WCW.  During the match between TAFKA and Juventud, Chris joined the announcer's for some color commentary.

03/20/00 Monday Nitro
Chris Candido made his wrestling debut in the WCW.  Being billed as 'Hard Knox' Chris Candido, he wrestled against Lash Leroux.  It appears they are going to keep him in the Cruiserweight division since TAFKA and Paisley talked about whether they would give him a shot at the belt or not.  Chris looked much more impressive in his match than he had in quite awhile over in the ECW.  Now for the question - WHERE'S TAMMY?!?!

04/07/00 Internet Rumors
All the rumors can be laid to rest on the status of "Hard Knox" Chris Candido and WCW, because as of Wednesday evening, Candido signed a long-term contract with the company. [Justin Fritz]

Despite all the rumors you may have heard around the internet, *no*, Tammy Lynn Sytch has not [yet] signed with WCW. However, with Bischoff and Russo coming back into power, it'd be safe to say negotiations are taking place between the two parties. Word has it, if things go well, Tammy might make her WCW debut at Spring Stampede in a match that Russo would come up with between Chris Candido and The Artist. It's being talked about that Sytch would help her man from interference from Paisley, thus the two spinning into a cat-fight. [Mikey G.]

04/16/00 Spring Stampede PPV
Suicide Six-Man Cruiserweight Title Match Chris Candido d. The Artist with Paisley, Lash LeRoux, Juventud Guerrera, Shannon Moore and Crowbar with David Flair and Daffney.

Shannon Moore and Shane Helms performed their hit song, "Can't Get You Out Of My Heart." As they sang on, the other participants hit the ring, getting the Suicide Six-Man underway. The first man to gain the pinfall would be the new champion. Guerrera delivered the Juvi Driver, by was stopped by the former champion, The Artist. Daffney climbed to the top for a huracanrana, but caught Crowbar on accident. Crowbar was laid out by Lash on the outside and a series of dives over the top rope followed. The brawl continued on the floor, with only The Artist and Candido taking it back into the ring. When Paisley slid a chair into the ring for her man to use, Candido's long-time manager, Tammy came to the rescue, pushing The Artist onto the chair, taking her man to the top of the Cruiserweight division. 04/24/00 Monday Nitro
Chris Candido and Tammy Sytch d. The Artist and Paisley
It didn't take long for these two stunning valets to start rolling and rocking -- but the action in this mixed tag saw all players delivering attacks. Sytch delivered a suicide splash, The Artist attempted to suplex Sytch and Paisley suffered a brutal clothesline from Candido. Taking advantage of her charge's attack, Sytch made the cover.

Paisley with The Artist d. Tammy with Chris Candido
Tammy told the crowd she was going to show them what all the guys came to see. She disrobed, wearing only a sports bra and leather shorts, much to the delight of every healthy, American male. Both Candido and The Artist got involved in the fight, each trying to help their respective lady. In the end, it was Paisley who countered Tammy and pinned her for the 1-2-3. After the match, Candido and Tammy attacked, leaving Paisley and The Artist lying on the mat.

05/07/00 Slamboree PPV
WCW Cruiserweight Title Match - Chris Candido with Tammy d. The Artist with Paisley
Tammy said that she would "show hers" but as she started to disrobe, Candido covered her up as The Artist's music ended her dance. After a pretty equal match, The Artist tried for a German suplex pin attempt, but only got a two count. On the outside, Candido ran The Artist's back into the guardrail and delivered a backdrop on the ramp before both headed back into the ring. Hard Knox tried for a missed huracanrana off the top, which allowed The Artist to go for a badly implemented and poorly overshot rolling schoolboy that Chris had to save, so that The Artist could appear to go for the near fall. While The Artist went for the pin Tammy distracted the ref complaining about an injury to her foot.  This caused Paisley to attack and then back off to check her man.  This gave Tammy the opportunity to crack The Artist with a chair leading Candido to the win after a flying leg drop off the top rope.

After the bout, The Artist and Paisley tore Tammy's dress off.  Personally I think that WCW should relax their high 'moral' standards.  The reason?  Come on, we get to watch Tammy get stripped to a pair of shorts and a tube top!?!?!?  Get a grip guys.  That's not what we, the viewer's, pay the hard earned $29.95 for.  I'm not saying she should have been nude (although I sure wouldn't complain), but at least getting stripped to a bra and panties would have made us PPV junkies feel alot better. 05/10/00 Wednesday Thunder
WCW Cruiserweight Title Match - Chris Candido with Tammy d. Crowbar with Daffney
Candido taunted the Springfield crowd as Tammy prepared to reveal another skimpy outfit. Crowbar showed that he could go in the ring with the Cruiserweight champion, taking him off guard with some innovative moves. Tammy came up to the apron to break up a pin attempt; always prepared to do anything to protect Candido and the gold. The psycho challenger hit a big splash and a clothesline from the apron to the floor, wearing down the champion. Candido drove Crowbar down with a powerbomb from the top, on his way back up however, Daffney brought him down with a "Frankenscreamer" huracanrana. This prompted Tammy to come in and the catfight was on. After the dust settled, it was Hard Knox getting the win, retaining his Cruiserweight title.

Tammy Sytch and Chris Candido reopened 'CandidoSytch.com' after a year's hiatus without an update. The new style and design will knock you off your socks, as well as brand new features like a live chat, plenty of columns, a message boards, and, oh yeah ... tons of Tammy pictures!  Also, if you want to ask the blonde-duo some questions, you can send an e-mail straight to their personal mailbox, as well. [Mikey G.]

05/22/00 Monday Nitro
WCW Cruiserweight Title Match Daffney Unger d. Crowbar
Daffney called Crowbar to the ring, wanting a match to determine the WCW Cruiserweight Champion. After a series of heated exchanges that included thumb wrestling, rock, paper, scissors and an atomic wedgie, Chris Candido and Tammy charged the ring. A brawl ensued, ending with Crowbar taking a tombstone piledriver on a steel chair, courtesy of Hard Knox. Daffney covered Crowbar and, three seconds later, she was crowned the new WCW Cruiserweight Champion.

05/24/00 Wednesday Thunder
WCW Cruiserweight Title Match - Daffney d. The Artist with Paisley and Chris Candido with Tammy
Dressed in wedding black, Daffney avoided the action, while both her competitors and their valets became embroiled in competition. Breaking up and trying to steal pins throughout the match, Daffney was at the mercy of her foes, until Crow Bar made the save. Miss Hancock then joined the action, but left after Tammy purchased the leggy exec's wooden clipboard. Tammy attempted to strike Daffney with the lethal office supply, but whacked her beau instead. Daffney stole the pin.

06/01/00 Internet Rumors
Is Tammy Sytch in trouble once again?
Read the following and decide for yourself.  You will probably have noticed that she did not appear on Monday's Nitro or Wednesday's Thunder although Chris did appear.

Before Nitro, Tammy Lynn Sytch was found passed out by the arena workers washroom. It is speculated she injected herself with Nubane. Nubane is a common drug used during childbirth. It acts as a painkiller. This is why the Tammy Lynn Sytch vs.Miss Hancock match never took place. Rumors have it that WCW released Tammy, but it has not yet been confirmed. [Mike Abbots]

Although it was reported earlier that Tammy Sytch was released from WCW, this is yet to be official. She was held back from television last night due to the fact that she appeared sick in some way. WCW did test her for drugs, but the results have yet to be released. Although it seems obvious that she was on some kind of narcotics, WCW is giving her a chance. Odds are that she will be released if it is drugs, but possibly not. If she is not released, a suspension will be likely. It is expected that WCW Live will announce more on this situation. [Neil Friedman]

As of Tuesday, Tammy Sytch is still with the WCW. The story from Nitro is correct. She was scheduled to have a catfight with Miss Hancock to set up a feud between Candido and Tammy vs. David Flair and Hancock. She spent a long time in the dressing room and afterwards two women found a syringe and Nubain. They complained to Bischoff and Janie Engle about it. Nubain is a pain killer that had become a problem in the WCW locker room. Several other WCW wrestlers have lost their jobs because of this. She has been taken off the show. [Fred Cook]

Tammy Sytch underwent a drug test Tuesday just right before the Thunder tapings. The reason for the drug test and why she was kept off Nitro was because Kimberly found a vial, or a small glass container for medicine or chemicals, in the women's locker room. [Ryan Sanders]

06/02/00 Internet Rumors
Wade Keller reports that Chris Candido, after he heard about the incident with Tammy Sytch being blamed for leaving a vial in the women's bathroom, apparently volunteered that Sytch take a drug test. He and Sytch are claiming the vial wasn't theirs and happily submitted to the test Tuesday afternoon.  That could mean one of the women who didn't like Sytch planted the evidence for someone to find. The original story, though, was that the vial was found right after Sytch left the bathroom. No decision has been made about Sytch's status, but it was a serious enough situation that her scheduled match was pulled from Nitro on Monday. Still no word on her future with the company. [Mike Shalik]

Is Tammy Lynn Sytch gone from WCW, or what? According to Dave Meltzer's "Wrestling Observer," '...yes.' Sytch, if you hadn't heard by now, was found nearly passed-out backstage after taking a painkiller called Nubain. Kimberly found the syringe before management found Tammy, in which Kimberly handed the piece over to Eric Bischoff, whom immediately took action. It was then that Bischoff and two other "nameless" Officials escorted Tammy out of the building, without giving her a chance to consult with Chris Candido. Candido, once he found out, was more of a mix between angry and worried, as they just told him to "calm down," and "the situation is under control." Bischoff, during Thunder's taping, took the liberty of contacting several of the 'higher-up's' that work with contracts, and actually did try to get her contract terminated. However, he didn't have the power to do so. So, as we speak, Tammy remains with WCW, but, it's being said that by Sunday evening, she will no longer be under WCW contract. [Mikey G.]

06/08/00 Internet Rumor
Tammy Sytch's website released a statement on the weekend about reports of Sytch being pulled from Nitro last week after being suspected of leaving a vial in the women's bathroom. The website says that Sytch wasn't even at Nitro and was never scheduled to be. Her drug test on Tuesday was the mandatory drug test that she is required to take as a new employee of WCW.

06/16/00 Internet Rumors
Ho hum.  Another day of conflicting internet rumors, especially when it concerns Tammy.

Tammy Sytch and Chris Candido's official newsletter sent this out this afternoon: Great news everyone, It's official that Tammy Sytch's WCW Drug Test has come back negative.  Because of the allegations WCW couldn't put Ms. Sytch on the air. Tamara is currently 100%. And best of all because Tammy did not breech her contract or do anything wrong WCW has no reason to fire her. [Mike Shalik]

-Tammy Sytch has passed her drug test and may be part of WCW's women division. WCW has asked 95% of all their female on air employees to begin some sort of wrestling training - Tammy, being one of them, was flown to the Power Plant to begin training (a week or two back). I would keep my eye's peeled, you never know who might come and go in the world of wrestling but expect a return of Tammy on WCW broadcasting shortly. [Jay Serrano]

I've heard some crazy stuff these past few days, and even weeks for that matter. Ironically, nearly all of the stories have been contradicted or made-up all the long, one of them being the drug-test Tammy had to take last week. Her so-called "Official Newsletter," which is calling itself "The Official Candido and Sytch Newsletter," released a statement last week that said something along the lines of "...Great News... Tammy's passed her drug-test..." However, some beg to differ. I'm now hearing that results haven't even been released yet, including to Tammy herself. Which does make the "Newsletter" look a little foolish, but, why shouldn't they? They made up a rumor that got the whole 'net excited and can't even use good grammar when announcing it. So, believe what you will but don't trust anything until you hear a noticed confirmation from the newswire. [Mikey G.]

-Tammy Sytch's contract with WCW was not a long-term deal when signed. Her contract expires in the coming months and WCW may not bring her back to television during the remainder of her contract. [Ryan McGavock]

-It seems as though WCW won't be bringing back Tammy Sytch anytime soon. She isn't currently booked in any story lines and that isn't good for her at all. Her success in ECW and WCW has been dropping. [Michael Payton]

-It seems as though WCW will not be bringing back Tammy Sytch anytime soon. With all the rumors and situations she has been in since arriving at WCW she is going to be used but not for a while. Storylines are being worked out for her in the future. [Nick Evanish]

07/06/00 Internet Rumors
Tammy Sytch WILL be returning to WCW TV in the future. Reports are that WCW don't feel that anything has been proved against her concerning the 'incident', and that it is unfair to punish someone without any actual proof. She will probably return with Candido upon his return. [Jonny Farrer]

Tammy Sytch will unquestionably return when Chris Candido returns, whenever that is. All thoughts about her doing drugs in the bathroom have been squashed by WCW management. [Christopher Torres]

07/21/00 Internet Rumors
Tammy Sytch and Chris Candido are gone from WCW. I can't stand seeing all the contradictions to this statement, as I'm completely CORRECT about it. Her so-called "official newsletter" and "website" aren't even endorsed by WCW; and possibly not even Tammy or Chris. While they keep saying that I'm wrong, they should really take a listen to "WCW: Live" every now and then, because on numerous occasions, they've said the same thing, as well. I've got nothing against Tammy and Chris, as they're two of my favorite husband-and-wife duo's to watch in this business, it's just that there's so many rumors flying over their hands you never know what to believe. [Mikey G.]

09/01/00 Internet Rumors

WebMaster's Note: Well we're off again with another set of  rumors about the status of Tammy's career.  I'll say one thing for her, she's in the news even when she's not visible in the wrestling world.

Despite earlier reports, Chris and Tammy are still under contract with World Championship Wrestling. Chris is still recovering from an arm injury sustained in a tag team match a few months ago. His doctor has decided to re-break his arm in an attempt to rehabilitate it more successfully, thus putting him out of action for at least a few more weeks. "The Blonde Bombshells" will still be working the independent dates that they had been previously advertised for. In addition, stay tuned for the long awaited return of CandidoSytch.com. After experiencing numerous problems with our original server, we have finally found a new home on the Internet. [Kevin Caccavo, webmaster of CandidoSytch.com, and Chris Goldsmith]

Chris Candido and Tammy Sytch are slated for a September 25th TV return to World Championship Wrestling. (Thanks to Chris Ludlow for that tidbit) [Liz Wilson]

09/22/00 Internet Rumors
Chris Candido and Tammy Sytch have announced that they should be returning to action, in World Championship Wrestling, very soon. Also, Tammy Sytch is now 100% better from her car accident that she was involved in. Apparently Vince Russo is totally behind bringing the two back into WCW. The return date, of the couple, should be September 25th, at the Nassau Coliseum. September 25th is a Nitro, and is also the first day that RAW is on TNN. WCW is pulling out all stops to try and win the ratings next week, and bringing this couple back would only help. [Mark Peters]

And yet another... There are a number of people that wish they could get this much press without doing anything! Take a look at the page, 90% of the information is strictly rumors and not much in the way of real ring action!

Chris Candido and Tammy Lynn Sytch will be appearing in XPW at there November to Dismember event in San Bernardino, California on November 10th. Candido will be facing off against Sabu, the current XPW Champion. (1wrestling.com) [Alex Matthews]

12/29/00 Internet Rumor
Even though Chris Candido has signed a contract with NJPW, he has still made interest in returning to WCW. On his official website, he has stated that going back to WCW has been an option for both him and Tammy but because of issues, no agreements have been made for the two to return to WCW. If anything else comes up, I will let you all know. [Mark Peters]
