During the match Kidman went down to the mat and Torrie climbed onto the ring apron before returning to the floor while Vampiro renewed the attack on his opponent. As Vampiro yanked Kidman up by the hair, Torrie returned to the ring apron at the same time as Vampiro delivered a karate kick to Kidman's head. Kidman collided with Torrie, which sent her crashing to the arena floor. Kidman attempted to leave the ring to check on Torrie but Vampiro grabbed him by the hair before he could reach the floor. As Vampiro tried pulling him back onto the ring Kidman started pummeling him with fists to the back. Once free, Kidman jumped to the floor and helped Torrie up, forgetting about his opponent momentarily. Vampiro climbed out of the ring and attacked Kidman, nailing him in the back and knocking him to the floor. Vampiro then grabbed a chair from ringside and headed back for Kidman while Torrie tried to intercede. Vampiro paid no attention to her pleas, and Torrie had to physically grab the chair before it landed on a defenseless Kidman. As Vampiro turned to confront Torrie and threaten her with the chair Kidman regained his feet and slammed the chair into Vampiro's face. Both men hit the floor while a worried Torrie looked on. Kidman got up first, throwing Vampiro back into the ring and attempting a pinfall which Vampiro powered out of at the count of two. As the match continued neither wrestler was able to get an edge over the other, even when Vampiro delivered two successive powerbomb's on Kidman. 09/20/00 Wednesday Thunder - Paisley with Kwee-Wee d. Torrie Wilson with "The Franchise" Shane Douglas Kwee-Wee and Shane Douglas joined the table for color as the ladies started a catfight. When The Franchise went to the apron, Kwee-Wee pulled him down which allowed Paisley to get the quick pin over Wilson. Douglas came in and delivered The Franchiser to Paisley, causing Tygress to run in and jump on Shane's back. He flipped her over and set her up for the move as well, but Konnan, who came in to rescue Tygress, stopped him. The Lava Lamp Lounge: Tygress, Paisley, Major Gunns and Torrie Wilson Awesome said he felt like Tony Orlando with a double dose of Dawn. All four girls tried to woo Awesome, mistakenly believing him to be one of the judges at the Miss WCW 2000 contest on Nitro. Paisley and Wilson got into a shouting match over whom Awesome would vote for in the pageant. Nitro Girls Chiquita and Chae came out to enter Monday night's contest -- and to set the record straight about Awesome as a potential judge. After Chae told the girls Awesome was not judging the contest, Gunns, Paisley, Wilson and Tygress trashed his set, pushing Mike over the back of the couch. [wcw.com]
09/25/00 Monday Nitro - WCW Bikini Competition Winner -- Pamela Paulshock Crackhead Bob, High Pitch Jerry, Beetlejuice, Fred the Elephant Boy and Hank the Angry Drunken Dwarf came out as the official judges. Chae, of the Nitro Girls, came out first, followed by Nitro Girl Chiquita and Torrie Wilson. Removing each other's robes, Tygress and Paisley were up next. Leia Meow entered, with Major Gunns finally joining the contest. Gunns wore a red, white, and blue bikini; Canadian convert "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan came to the ring and told her to shut her mouth. He covered the Major up with the Canadian flag, eliminating her from the contest. Pamela, who was wearing a fur coat, said it was getting hot. She removed her coat, revealing an amazing bikini. Although she said she wasn't entered in the competition, all of the Wack Pack voted for Pamela, making her the unanimous winner. Leia Meow grabbed Pam by the hair and threatened to whip her. Midajah ran out and pulled Meow away, starting a brief catfight before security arrived. [wcw.com] For pics - Click Here. WebMaster's Note: Well there seems to be a bit of controversy over this event (See the Rumors below). I have to agree with the WCW officials in their assessment of the event. But part of that may have been because their 'standards and practices' seems to have dual standards. From a viewer's angle - "How come I can see Leia Meow's ass while she's using her riding crop between Pamela's breast's but I cannot get a close up of most of the women taking their robes off and showing me what I tuned in for? T&A!!!" Hey guys, that's what a Bikini Contest is for. I'm not sure whether the women just weren't into it or the promotion just didn't take the whole thing seriously. They pay the money to get Howard Stern's freaks as judges but then the girls and/or the promotion doesn't insure that every one looks like they really are into the event and having a good time? Come on. Of course if you read below this attitude might be in part to the supposed rumor that Pamela winning was 'fixed', but so what? It's not like this Contest is going to win you anything. Bottom Line - I'm not sure who we should blame for another non-event "event" (this makes two in a month - i.e. Hancock/Flair wedding), the women or the promotion but it was disappointing. Even so OWOW has supplied you with a number of pics (90) from the event. Internet Rumors WCW officials were disappointed with Nitro's bikini contest. Besides Torrie Wilson, none of the girls acted like it was bikini contest. Torrie played the crowd as she was supposed to. Pamela wasn't even wearing an actual bikini, if you noticed. [Chris Goldsmith] There has been a little controversy over the scheduled Bikini Contest tonight on Nitro. Paula Paulshock who is a bikini contest regular refused to take place in this upcoming contest unless she was guaranteed the win. Bikini contests are usually fixed just like wrestling and the contracted woman always end up winning the contest. Apparently WCW women are not to happy with losing to an outsider. [Jimmy Van] Pamela Paulshock refused to participate in the Nitro Bikini Contest unless she was promised the win. Instead of telling her to hit the bricks, they bowed down to her and agreed. The other girls were understandably upset with having to go out there and lose a worked contest to a girl who never even stripped down to her bikini bottoms. Amazingly WCW.com ran a poll asking who looked the best, and Pamela won that one as well. Congrats. [Justin Fritz] Last night, at Nitro, many were expecting high expectations for the Swim Suit contest. First of all, it was said that the contest would be who could bare the most skin, which wasn't the case at all. The best part about the competition was what WCW officials did to have Jim Duggan come out and cover up Major Gunns' American bathing suit. That segment was well planned and really added to the USA vs. Canada angle, in WCW. Other than that one high point, many fans were disappointed and WCW officials were also disappointed that the contest didn't get over well with the crowd, like they wanted. [Mark Peters]

Torrie handed Douglas a chain; he used it when Sting charged in for the splash. Konnan ran out and kidnapped Wilson as Jarrett came up on the apron and slammed his guitar over The Stinger's head. Konnan and Rection charged the ring, sending Douglas and Storm to the floor. K-Dogg and The Franchise exchanged a series of chops, with The Filthy Animal ending up getting the double team on the wrong side of the ring. When Major Gunns tripped Storm in the corner, Torrie pulled her to the floor by her hair, prompting Tygress to tear into Wilson, all to the delight of the Sydney crowd. In the ring, The Animals brutalized Shane as Tygress and Rey gave him a dual "face full of stuff." The Franchise pulled out mace and sprayed Konnan and Mysterio in the eyes before he and Torrie ran Tygress into the metal guardrail. With Konnan handcuffed to the ropes, Rey was destroyed, with only Charles Robinson there to try and cover him from more punishment. Backstage, Shane Douglas challenged Booker T. to a match for later in the show. Torrie called Pamela a b*tch before walking away, to which Pam replied, it "took one to know one." WCW World Title Match Booker T. d. The Franchise Shane Douglas with Torrie Wilson Scott Steiner joined the announcers at ringside and put Torrie Wilson down. Backstage, Konnan told Tygress to wait in the back, while he took care of something. Booker started off on the offense, dropping Douglas to the mat twice with two big sidekicks. T brought Shane to the outside, but was reversed on a whip to the guardrail, slamming into it himself. Douglas focused on Booker's upper body and neck, slowing down the champion. Booker fired back with a scissors kick, a sidekick and a spinarooni. Kidman came out and grabbed Douglas, but was knocked off the apron and into Midajah at ringside. Steiner blasted Kidman from behind. Konnan and Jarrett joined the brawl outside the ring, as Booker hit the Bookend for the win over Douglas. The Chosen One Jeff Jarrett d. Konnan with Tygress As Konnan went through his pre-match ritual on the mic, Jarrett attacked, getting the challenge match underway. The match was stopped as Rection apologized repeatedly to Douglas, saying he didn't know it was Wilson on his back. Lt. Loco showed no remorse, trying to kick Torrie off the apron to the floor. 12/01/00 Internet Rumors Several women in WCW are jealous of Torrie Wilson, considering that she earns $250,000 per year, a figure that is more than any other woman makes in the company today. [George Epstein] Dave Scherer of 1wrestling.com reports that Torrie Wilson will be the next casualty to be released from World Championship Wrestling. Scherer says that her contract will be terminated on December 5th. Wilson is currently doing around $250,000 a year. Negotiations to keep her on a pay per appearance deal are already set, but Wilson is not agreeing to the large pay cut. [Colin Vassallo] Torrie Wilson apparently has interest in heading to the WWF, if the WWF can pay her how much she wants. Her and WCW are in negotiations of what to do with her contract. She was previously making some $200,000+ a year, but now WCW wants to pay her around $50,000 a year. More on this story as it becomes available. [Joe Starson] Torrie Wilson was offered her release from World Championship Wrestling. They want to give her a new contract that pays less. She may be talking with the World Wrestling Federation in some time if the offer from World Championship Wrestling is to low. [Steve Carrier] Torrie Wilson is another name who has interest in heading to the WWF, if the price is right. She has been cut from WCW, where she was previously making some $200,000+ a year. WCW wanted her to stay, but at a salary of around $50,000 a year. The WWF usually does not give small names like Wilson much of a big money offer, plus she doesn't really have anywhere else to go if she wants to stay in the wrestling business. Wilson is a pretty face but is not good enough on the mic or in the ring to justify a very high salary. Finding good looking girls who will sign for cheap and teaching them to speak on the mic as good as Wilson does would not be a very hard task for the WWF. [Zach Zawarski]
12/04/00 Monday Nitro - Mean Gene Interview: The MIA General Rection told the world he was sorry for hurting Torrie Wilson last week at Thunder, saying it was an accident. [wcw.com]
12/15/00 Internet Rumor WCW has upped their offer to keep Torrie Wilson, now for $100,000 a year, as opposed to their previous offer of $52,000 per year. Still no word on whether or not she'll remain with them or not. [George Epstein]
12/22/00 Internet Rumor Torrie Wilson turned down the WWF's latest offer of $1,000 per show with no guaranteed amount of dates. [George Epstein] WebMaster's Note: Not sure whether the offer referred to above is a typo or not. Notice on 12/15/ rumor she is talking with WCW and on the 12/22 rumor she is talking with the WWF. Both are reported by the same person. Can anyone clear this up?
12/29/00 Internet News Torrie Wilson's bio has been officially removed from WCW.com. [Michael Payton] Whilst browsing through the 2001 superstars list over at WCW.com, the official WCW website, I noticed that there were no biographies for either Torrie Wilson, Vince Russo, or Hulk Hogan. These biographies were present in the 2000 list. Take this for what you will. [Ian Kerrigan]
