There is some talk of taking Major Gunns out of Team Canada. The fans cheering for her is taking away the big heat that is supposed to be on Lance Storm. [Michael Payton]

01/14/01 Sin PPV Penalty Box Match - Special Referee - Hacksaw Jim Duggan Team Canada with Major Gunns d. The Filthy Animals with Tygress
Team Canada arrived on its official bus, which was cleaned up from the graffiti attack one week ago. Storm said he would make sure Canadian justice reigned. Duggan got on the mic and explained the rules to both teams, saying if they were broken, the offenders would go to the penalty box. Storm and Mysterio started off, flying hard from rope to rope until Primetime Elix Skipper interfered, earning himself a trip to the box. Awesome came in and bumped into Duggan, prompting Hacksaw to send him in as well. The Animals took advantage of the three-on-one, working over the team leader. After serving his penalty, Primetime tagged in and immediately put the boots to Billy Kidman. Awesome pulled Kidman's hair from outside and Storm grabbed Billy's shirt, causing Duggan to again send two members of the Canadian squad to the box. K-Dogg applied a submission hold on Skipper before making quick tags with his Animal partners. Elix hit a missile dropkick from the top and tagged big Mike Awesome into the battle. As Duggan broke up a battle between Major Gunns and Tygress outside, he turned around in time to see Kidman and Rey attempting the BroncoBuster double team. They were both sent to the box, as were Gunns and Tygress after another brawl broke out between the two. Konnan hit a face jam on Storm before tagging Billy into the match, who rocked the former Canadian champion with a huge sit out powerbomb. Tygress got another trip into the box after following up on Rey's BroncoBuster on Awesome. In the end, it was Duggan who was forced to call the match in favor of Team Canada as Kidman tapped out to Storm's single leg crab. [wcw.com]

02/02/01 Internet Rumor
WCW has released five of their top women performers. Those who are said to be gone are Daffney, Paisley, Leia Meow, Major Gunns, and Tygress. Sources within the other two companies (WWF and ECW) have reported that at least two of the women have reportedly called them asking for work.

Eric Bischoff didn't like the profanity and all the women on WCW shows and it was expected that when Fusient Media and Bischoff took over the company, women, etc would be scaled back. Women were given prominent roles under Russo's rule as head of the creative team in WCW. It now appears that the expanded roles of women are WCW are gone.

WebMaster's Note: Oh goody. Two of the main reasons I watch (Daffney & the delectable Major Gunns) are going to be gone?  Great, I can get Dustin and Dusty Rhoades instead I suppose.  Their appearance Monday makes me think that we're going to slide backwards in time with the WCW once again.  I can't express my displeasure about this enough, she turned me on whenever she made an appearance.  Hopefully she'll turn up again in professional wrestling.

Lance Storm is not thrilled with WCW's decision to release Major Gunns. Lance and Major Gunn's developed a close-friendship while working together and it's known that the two had become traveling buddies. [Josh Lee]

WebMaster's Note: If Major Gunns was my "traveling buddy" I'd be upset if they got rid of her. :)

I went over to Tylene's official web site at www.tylene.com to find out what might be in her future plans, and found that the site has closed down. It does state that it is under construction.  Hopefully this shut down is not permanent, as it was a quality site.

WebMaster's Note:  The site has been re-opened.

03/01/02 Internet News - XPW Freefall Show 02/23/02
Major Gunns started the show by appearing in a Sandman T-Shirt while the crowd gave her a huge ovation. While circling the ring it appeared that she had little or nothing else on underneath. As the fans were going nuts over her "gunns" she ripped off her shirt to reveal a tiny bikini top! By now the crowd was completely tantalized. Tylene began teasing the audience by slowing removing her short shorts halfway down before getting to the other side of the arena while she's was doing a sexy dance for the crowd. Shaking her shapely rear, Major Gunns finally got into the ring and circled the ringside area again during which a "Take It Off" chant began running rampant. She gave a little flash, but left the ring quickly. [xpwrestling.com, owow.com]
