WWE "CONFIDENTIAL" COVER STORY |
Miss Elizabeth (Elizabeth Hulette - Born November 19th, 1960 in Kentucky) and her man, "Macho Man" Randy Savage, were an extraordinary couple during their stay in the WWF. He of course did all the talking and she stood demurely by and smiled prettily for the fans. They finally married one another at the SUMMERSLAM '91 PPV "A Match Made In Heaven - A Match Made In Hell." During the reception Liz opened a package from Jake "The Snake" Roberts which contained a live Cobra snake. A few seconds later Jake attacked Randy Savage and needless to say it was utter chaos from that point on. After a year or two of wedded bliss one of the biggest feuds to ever hit the WWF began brewing. Randy's jealousy got the best of him during the time that Elizabeth managed Randy and Hulk Hogan as a Championship tag team. This feud gave fans several great matches between the two and finally culminated in one of the best matches ever in WWF history - Macho Man/Hulk Hogan anything goes - at WrestleMania 5. Not long after leaving the WWF and entering the WCW Liz and Randy story line revolved The estranged pair became part of the nWo and began a feud with Diamond Dallas and Kimberly. Both of them would taunt DDP & Kimberly more than once about Kimberly's Playboy centerfold which had just been released. "Macho" managed to do a lot of hiding behind Elizabeth whenever Diamond Dallas came after him and the fans never really got what they hoped for during this battle of the couples - we never really got to see a one-on-one between the two women. In December 1997 Elizabeth married Cary Lubetsky a South Florida attorney. In a magazine interview she stated "I want to have kids" and "I wanted to lead a normal life". Miss Elizabeth then began working part-time for the WCW. It was rumored not long after, that the happy couple had split up after just a couple of months into the marriage.
After the WCW folded in early 2001 we no longer saw anything of Liz nor was there any news other than she had gotten divorced and had moved in with Lex Luger in Atlanta, GA.

[PWtorch.com] ---------- Autopsy Results Pending in Death of Miss Elizabeth Elizabeth Hulette, 42, known in the wrestling world as Miss Elizabeth, was taken early Thursday from the Cobb County town home owned by Lawrence Pfohl, who wrestled professionally as Lex Luger. Rescue workers were summoned around 5:30 a.m. to the home, which is located off of Powers Ferry Road, Cobb police spokesman Cpl. Brody Staud said. He said the woman died at Kennestone Hospital shortly after she arrived, but authorities have not yet determined her cause of death. "At this point, we don't know if it's a suicide, we don't know if it's a natural death (and) we don't know if it's a homicide," said Staud, who added later that there was no indication of foul play. The woman was transported to Kennestone by ambulance. Authorities said Pfohl, 44, rode with her to the hospital. Neighbors said the woman was Pfohl's girlfriend. Several hours after Hulette was pronounced dead, Pfohl was arrested after investigators found illegal substances in his home, which were identified as large quantities of anabolic steroids. He was released from jail Thursday after posting a $25,000 bond. Authorities said police recently responded to a domestic disturbance call at his home two weeks ago, during which Pfohl was arrested for allegedly beating Hulette, according to a copy of the police report. He was out on a $2,500 bond in connection with that incident when he was re-arrested on the controlled substance charge. It was not immediately clear what the substance was. Channel 2 Action News reporter Jovita Moore and David Bodden contributed to this report. [WSBTV.com] ---------- May 2, 2003 7:28 a.m. ET ---------- News Author: Jason Powell ---------- May 2, 2003 05/09/03 Internet News Cobb County authorities have yet to declare an official cause of death in the May 1 incident in which the 42-year-old woman, whose real name was Elizabeth Hulette, was found unresponsive at the home of her boyfriend, former wrestling superstar Lex Luger. According to the 911 tape, a panicky Luger, whose real name is Lawrence Pfohl, told the operator about 5:30 a.m., "I have an emergency, medical. My girlfriend has passed out and I can't get her to come to." He said he couldn't tell if Hulette was breathing, adding: "We were eating and she started gurgling. I don't know why. Please send somebody, please." Pfohl later told police that Hulette drank about two glasses of vodka and took some medication for her back pain, according to the police report. While she was sitting on a couch eating a plate of food, he said, she started choking. He picked up some napkins and tried to remove whatever food was in her mouth. Then he started shaking her, hoping the food would come up, but she still wasn't breathing, the report said. He told the 911 operator, "I couldn't get her to focus her eyes . . . She's like totally limp." During the 911 call, Pfohl appeared less sure about the choking. When the operator asked him if he saw Hulette choking, he responded he did not know. When the operator tried to have him perform CPR on his unconscious girlfriend, he responded that when he breathed into her mouth, he could not see her chest move. "When I blow in, there's just gurgling, probably from the food," he said. By the time emergency crews arrived, five minutes after the call came in, the woman's skin had turned purplish. She was pronounced dead at WellStar Kennestone Hospital. The full autopsy report is expected in a month or two. Hours after the incident, investigators combing through the three-story townhouse said they discovered more than 1,000 illegal pills. Pfohl was charged with 13 counts of felony drug possession. Among the drugs were steroids and other bodybuilding drugs, as well as pain medication and anxiety drugs, authorities said. Cobb County police said preliminary autopsy findings showed no sign of foul play. Police do not suspect Pfohl in the death of his girlfriend, said spokesman Cpl. Brody Staud. An autopsy may be able to determine whether Hulette died of choking on food, of some deadly mix of alcohol or drugs -- of some combination of the two factors -- or even another cause, said Dr. Julie Jervis, a forensic pathologist at Kaplan College in Iowa. She described a common scenario called "cafe coronary," in which people who are drinking alcohol and eating lose their eating coordination, choke on food and die of asphyxiation. Then again, she said, if some food blocking her airway became dislodged at some point, the autopsy might not be able to determine the exact cause of death, and the final cause could be listed as "undetermined."
